The Roots of the Riots

A peculiar phrase recently became a trending topic on Twitter. Its words read as follows: “Attack and Dethrone God.” These same words were displayed on a graphic during a segment that had previously aired on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle.” Language contained in the graphic was intended to be a backdrop for a guest of host Laura Ingraham named Terrie Turchie, a former deputy assistant director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division. Chuck Schumer's Video Flub on MSNBC

A few days ago, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was videoconferencing on air with MSNBC from his home. In the middle of the interview, the bathroom door behind him opened and what appeared to be his African American house cleaner came out with cleaning supplies. She looked awkwardly toward the video and he at her. Then she wandered quickly out of the frame. She was not wearing a mask, and neither was he. Ironically, this was just moments after Senator Schumer had been speaking about the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on black Americans. To be fair, Senator Schumer is not the first person – and he certainly won’t be the last – to make a bad videoconferencing faux pas. The larger point here is that in this day and age, we can be made or broken based on what we do online. Medical professionals who have been elected to absolutely nothing still can’t agree on whether wearing masks in public is recommended let alone ought to be required. It’s not as though we aren’t already aware of how much Leftist politicians and un-elected bureaucrats have wanted to grow their own power in the form of growing government. Their policies have illustrated this repeatedly. The very same political “leaders” who demanded that we stay at home “for our own good,” incited and cheered massive protests that led to violence, destruction and even death. Didn’t that, once and for all, expose the farce of their lock downs, the cynical lie of their “concern and compassion” for the lives of law-abiding citizens, their property and the rule of law? [more...]

Who is Behind the Rioting and Looting?

Co-mingled with law-abiding protesters in the wake of George Floyd's murder by one rogue Minneapolis policeman, instigators are causing massive violence. Who are these mostly-white masked men dressed in black, and why are they attacking and killing police, looting and torching black-owned stores, and spreading terror? Most of this violence was committed by Antifa, whose terrorists are almost all white from rich homes.
