Trump Trumps All

Trump takes the lead. New polls indicate that Trump has a commanding 7% lead in New Hampshire, the first Primary state. The NBC/Marist poll also placed Trump only 2% behind Scott Walker, in Iowa, but with a margin of error at 3.2%, the Buckeye state is still neck and neck. A recent CNN poll placed Trump as the frontrunner nationally, too, with 18% of votes; and if CNN, the core of the liberal media, concedes Trump is winning, then he must be doing well.

Trump’s competitors have resorted to petty name-calling in failing efforts to claim top poll spots: A fundraiser for Scott Walker, one of Trump’s closest rivals, called the billionaire "dumb-dumb;" Lindsey Graham, another Republican hopeful, publicly stated Trump was a "jackass;" and, to top it off, John McCain insulted the millions of Americans supporting Trump by calling them "crazies." McCain, Graham and Walker should be ashamed to be involved in such childlike name-calling.

It is clear that Trump is going to continue to build steam throughout this election. The August 6th Republican Primary will undoubtedly show how much more Trump has to offer over his competitors. He is an honest, refreshing, successful entrepreneur who is ready for the Oval Office. [more...]

Conservatives' Dilemma - Appealing to the Younger Generation

The biggest problem Conservatives face in any election is appealing to younger people; reaching the younger demographic has always been a major weaknes. They need to recognize that the swing vote in every election is the younger demographic and the only way to get that vote is by changing people’s perception of what is cool. If conservatives can’t do that, everything else they do is a complete waste of time. Spending millions of dollars on GIFFs won’t do anything except pad the pockets of a few graphic artists and give the Left more fodder to ridicule just how out of touch the GOP really is. [more...]

Texas Just Sent a Huge Message to Obama and the Federal Government

A new kind of "bank" is being born that might break the money monopoly of the Federal Reserve, thwart President Barack Obama's takeover of our banks, and restore honest money in America. In this bank, your hard-earned savings are secured not in ever-inflating dollars, but in gold, silver or other precious metals. Your bills can be paid by electronically transferring not dollars but quantities of gold with others who have accounts there. And if President Obama attempts the government's new "bail-ins," like those in Cyprus and Greece confiscating deposits to pay bank debts, the State of Texas promises to block any federal attempt to seize your account. [more...]

Trump's Mouth is a Nuclear Weapon

America has two big problems. America is under attack by a vicious one-two combination. America has been ruined by two parties. And Donald Trump’s mouth solves both problems. The Democrat Party is filled with frauds (see President Barack Obama, Jonathan Gruber and the lies used to sell Obamacare); traitors (see Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry and the new Iran nuclear treaty); thieves and conmen (see the scandal involving $2 billion donated to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state); reckless wasters of taxpayer money (see Obama's Kenya trip that cost us over $50 million dollars for one day in a country that offers America NOTHING ); and outright criminals (see Hillary's upcoming criminal investigation and Obama's use of the IRS to target, persecute and even attempt to imprison political opponents and critics). But the GOP may be worse. The only way to save America is to bring a nuclear weapon to a gun fight... and Donald Trump's mouth is a nuclear weapon. [more...]

Planned Parenthood's Excuse-Making

Looking at how the Left consistently calls out the Right about how it hates blacks and women and the LGBTQ community and how unacceptable it is that a baker won't bake a cake for a same sex couple. How is it they never have a strong word about their own? Take, for instance, something as heinous as Planned Parenthood selling baby body parts. The Left's comments should at a minimum start with, "If that's what is actually happening, it's disgusting and someone should be punished for it." But, no, what they say instead is something akin to, "I can't believe an organization would trick the Planned Parenthood employee into telling them what's really happening" or "We didn't technically do anything illegal." Oh, where to begin... [more...]

Will New Immigrants Impact Future Elections?

Right now, the Federal government permits somewhere between 11 and 20 million illegal aliens to live in the U.S.  In addition, the government allows over another one million immigrants to enter the U.S. every year.  Plus, the government has NO LIMIT on immediate family members of aliens allowed into the country.  The one million green cards are used for workers, refugees and dependents.  There are also another 500,000 foreign immigrants sought by college administrators.  That's a lot of immigration.  In fact, out of all worldwide migrants, 20% come to the U.S.  It might seem surprising at first that about 32 million immigrants have come into the U.S. in the last three decades.  The question is, will the new immigrants impact future elections?  [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Update - The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Trade Agreement

The annual State Department Trafficking in Persons report was released yesterday. Cynics expected Malaysia to be raised from Tier 3 status - the most egregious of the potential rankings - to accommodate its image as an acceptable TPP partner country, and they were correct. Malaysia is now ranked on the Tier 2 Watch List. "After a July 8 Reuters report on plans to upgrade Malaysia, 160 members of the U.S. House of Representatives and 18 U.S. senators wrote to Secretary of State John Kerry, urging him to keep Malaysia on Tier 3. They said there was no justification for an upgrade and questioned whether the plan was motivated by a desire to keep the country in the TPP," reported Reuters. China Goes to Hollywood

Hollywood is in the midst of a major investor makeover. In a way that has never really been seen before, cash from China is flowing into the entertainment capital of the world, and coming along with it are influence on industry content, power over project production, and control of media messaging.

Start-up entertainment companies have been popping up with seasoned chief executives at their helms, particularly heads that were formerly in charge of prominent Hollywood studios.  Additionally, some high-profile entertainment companies have been increasingly looking to overseas business entities for financial assistance and greater access to foreign markets. Business arrangements such as these typically involve huge amounts of investor money. The problem with the Hollywood-China connection is that, regardless of the way in which things appear, Chinese companies may end up being beholden to the Chinese government. [more...]

Trump's McCain Comments as Compared To...

If you find Donald Trump's comments about Senator John McCain inappropriate and offensive, here are a few important questions for you: Are Trump's comments about John McCain more important than Obama agreeing to a nuclear deal with Iran that gives them everything they ever dreamed of - including the ability to build a nuclear bomb - and hundreds of billions of dollars they will use to fund terrorism all over the world and dramatically increasing the odds for another Jewish Holocaust? Are Trump's comments about McCain more important than our hero veterans being left on fake waiting lists to die by Obama's Veterans Administration? Are Trump's comments about McCain more important than our hero soldiers left disarmed at military bases (like Ft. Hood) and recruitment centers (like the one in Tennessee) so they are helpless when attacked by armed terrorists? [more...]

Should Trump Be the #1 Issue in the Presidential Election?

If you're following the news lately, you would think Donald Trump is the #1 issue in the 2016 presidential election.  People are debating what Trump said, what Trump didn't say, and what Trump meant to say.  People are demanding Trump apologize... that he drop out of the presidential race.  Some people like his honesty.  Some people like his bravado and directness.  Some people think he's struck a nerve with voters who are angry with how America is getting off track.  Some people like the fact that he doesn't need other people's money to run his campaign. But, regardless of what you think about Trump, pro or con, Trump seems to be getting most of the attention in the 2016 presidential election lately.  What are the top issues in America Today? [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Don't Underestimate Trump

Many commentators on the left branded Trump's bid a publicity stunt and nothing more. They are wrong. Trump is leading the polls in the Republican primary and proved a success in early campaigning in New Hampshire. As I have said before, Trump offers a point of view more refreshingly candid and honest than his opponents. While the others speak in canned phrases that have been regurgitated thousands of times by hundreds of politicians, Trump speaks his mind. He also silences his critics every step of the campaign. Opponents first said Trump would never officially file his candidacy with the FEC. He did. Then, critics said Trump surely would not disclose his personal finances. He did – all 10 billion dollars' worth. This leads me to another unique aspect of Trump - he is self-financing his campaign. [more...]

Professor Heckles Students Supporting Gov. Scott Walker

Exhibiting the height of unprofessionalism, Professor Sara Goldrick-Rab at the University of Wisconsin heckled incoming freshmen (via Twitter) who support Gov. Scott Walker. She even went so far as to suggest that they wouldn't get a quality education at UW because of Walker. She's a union gal who's apparently mad about losing tenure. She's already predicting she'll be fired within a year. If she keeps harassing students and disparaging the college via Twitter, she's probably right. But it won't be Gov. Walker's fault. Last I checked, Governors don't have hire and fire authority at the professor level in state universities. But that won't stop her from blaming him. [more...]

'The View' Searches for New Co-Host

In the fall of 2014, when ABC announced that Nicolle Wallace was the individual who would be assuming co-hosting 'The View' duties, the network in its choice signaled that its executives did not necessarily want a robust contrasting voice. Notwithstanding her extensive experience with GOP personalities and politics, Wallace was relieved of her position as co-host of the daytime television show after working only one season. According to Variety, executives at ABC let her go because she was "not offering enough dissent about political issues and continually voicing her lack of knowledge about celebrities." It appears as though the lone opposing voice on the panel may have lost her television slot because she was too civil in voicing her opinions, did not differ from her co-hosts to the proper degree, and was insufficiently schooled in today's reality television programming and contemporary pop culture. Update - The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Trade Agreement

The State Department will report its annual Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report this week. The report is expected to reveal an upgrade on Malaysia’s current Tier 3 status, which represents an abysmal ranking in the area of slavery and human trafficking. Opponents to this move are citing the Obama administration’s desire to make Malaysia’s inclusion in the TPP more palatable to U.S. voters. Since last year’s downgrade to Tier 3 status, research has revealed additional evidence of Malaysian slavery in the area of electronics manufacturing, and discoveries of mass graves in migrant trafficking camps. Boehner Spent July 4th Promising Amnesty to Foreign Government Officials

While we were celebrating Independence Day here in America, John Boehner spent the 4th of July in a foreign country promising Amnesty to a foreign Chamber of Commerce and foreign government officials.  In an article published late on July 4, 2015, Arthur Beesly of the Irish Times reported: "The Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, John Boehner, has told a Dublin audience of his determination to overcome Republican resistance to immigration reform." The Irish Times went on to quote Irish governmental Chief Enda Kenny as telling Boehner "I think you understand, just get it done." Greece - €86 Billion Euro Later

After 17 hours of negotiation, Greece accepted a bailout plan to the tune of €86 billion euro. The settlement set forth by Greece's three creditors, "the troika," is harsh, but it needs to be. European Commission, IMF, and ECB officials are wary of Greece's commitment to repaying debt, and structured a deal which left very little room for Greece to wiggle out. If Greece avoids its required payments, or deviates from the settlement, near-automatic spending cuts will be activated. Greek parliament votes on the settlement this week - the three creditor institutions will then formalize and institute the plans. Here are the key points to the settlement package: Greece must simplify its tax code and expand its VAT. To mitigate the negative effects of widely increasing taxes, €35 billion euro from the EU will become available for economic stimulus. [more...]

Ten Reasons the Iran Deal is bad for America

Six global powers and Iran have made an agreement dealing with Iran's nuclear future and sanctions.  Without question, the deal places America, Israel, the Middle East, and the entire world at grave risk.  There is no need for America to go out on a limb and take this enormous risk.  This is simply a bad deal for America, quite possibly the most dangerous agreement America has made in its 239 years of history.  Let's list just 10 reasons why the Iran deal is bad for America now... [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Obama's Iran Nuke Deal Lies

As is so often the case, President Obama is misleading the American people. The fact is there will be no 24/7 "anywhere, anytime" inspections allowed of undeclared suspicious sites. The fine print of the final JCPOA agreement provides Iran with the means to delay any inspections of undeclared suspected sites requested by the IAEA. Iran is empowered to raise objections to inspections of suspected sites, which would then have to be assessed by a commission that includes Iran itself as a member. Iran will thus have opportunities to exploit the mechanisms for international verification inspections, allowing it to rotate its covert nuclear arms activities from secret site to secret site during a protracted dispute resolution process... [more...]

Governor Walker and Big Labor

Much to the pleasure of many Americans and the chagrin of union leaders across the country, Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin finally announced his long awaited Republican candidacy for President of the Unites States. He has taken Wisconsin from a highly indebted, union-controlled state to a debt free, citizen emboldened state. He did this by freeing the citizens from union shackles and enacting policies that are good for the people and that provide them freedom of choice. I've written extensively on Gov. Walker and Big Labor... [more...]

Trump's in the Lead... GOP, Get Real

Trump is not one to compromise on his beliefs. His bold statements have him being noticed - and favorably. Many conservative voters, especially ones from the Tea Party, are also taking notice of Trump. All the while, other former front runners are falling behind. We can only conclude that the public is tired of the wishy-washy talk, unclear stances, prevaricated answers and lies of the past. Ever hear a politician talk and when they are finished, you wonder what their position is on the subject or, better yet, you forgot the original question? We can look forward to that not happening this campaign. Other candidates will not be able to hide behind their evasive speeches and comments. Trump is giving real, direct answers - some that people like and some that people don’t like. But the fact of the matter is he is giving direct answers, unlike the past where we have had to deal with candidates dodging questions and not giving solid and direct responses. [more...]

Ariana Grande and the Law

Ariana Grande has been on a career roll. She has enjoyed a string of chart-topping hits, accrued a huge fan base, and secured a starring role in a high-profile television show, which is set to air soon. All of her success aside, the pop singer may now have caused irreparable damage to her brand, and in the process, earned herself a serious rap sheet.

In our ultra-technologically advanced society, most people realize that public places are, more often than not, under surveillance 24/7. However, in a single visit to a Southern California donut shop, Grande somehow let that factoid slip her celebrity mind. She and boyfriend-backup dancer Ricky Alvarez maliciously tried to hurt people by contaminating with their saliva some of the confections that were within their reach in the shop. Additionally, Grande made derogatory comments about America and Americans. The disgusting behavior and offensive remarks were captured on video and splattered across the Internet.

As the terrible story of Grande’s misadventures was going viral, some celebrities were weighing-in via their social media sites. The most irresponsible statement came from actress Susan Sarandon, who recklessly called for others to engage in the same deleterious behavior. "Today, lick a doughnut in solidarity with @ArianaGrande. A sweet, talented, true American," Sarandon posted on her Twitter page. Criminal behavior is what Grande and her boyfriend perpetrated, and criminal behavior is what Sarandon encouraged Twitter followers to replicate.

Section 242 of the California Penal Code defines a criminal battery as "any willful and unlawful use of force or violence upon the person of another," and section 243 of the code makes the crime punishable by up to a $2,000 fine and/or up to six months in jail. Placing one's bodily fluid on a food item that is highly likely to be consumed by another person is clearly criminal battery under California law, and the local police are acting accordingly. Police personnel, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, met with the owner of the donut shop to investigate "a report of deliberate food tampering." The surveillance footage from the donut shop should provide local authorities with the evidence they need to carry out their law enforcement duties, and if justice prevails Grande and her boyfriend will ultimately be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The Confederate Flag Comes Down... Now Deal With the Real Problems of Equality

By Howard Comen [Reporting from Charleston, SC]

"While we agree with Governor Haley and the 36 State Senators and 94 House members that voted to take the flag down, we must redirect our attention to the real racial problems. The flag is only the Southern symbol of inequality that has limited equal education, equal justice, and equal economic opportunity. This problem is not a Southern problem, it is a national disgrace," say members of Interfaith Partners of South Carolina.

Will Iran Call Obama's Bluff?

Barack Obama has repeatedly compared himself to Ronald Reagan as a transformative president... but labels mean nothing. Obama could demonstrate that he learned something meaningful from the Reagan legacy by showing some backbone in his nuclear negotiations with Iran. He should order his Secretary of State John Kerry to walk away this week if Iran does not immediately concede on such vital points as allowing unfettered international inspections "anywhere at any time," including inspections of any military sites where suspected nuclear-related activities may have taken place in the past. Moreover, Obama should instruct Kerry to walk away if Iran continues to reject phased sanctions relief tied strictly to verifiable proof of Iran's compliance with each stage of its obligations under the terms of a final deal. If Obama were to do so, taking full advantage of the leverage afforded by tight economic sanctions imposed on Iran, he would be following in the footsteps of Ronald Reagan, not Neville Chamberlain.  [more...]

The Doctors' State of Independence

Everything that has happened with Obamacare since its implementation has been a good thing because we can now stop pretending that the courts or Congress will help us. If we want to take our profession back, we have to do it ourselves. It has been way past time to shift the paradigm back to the doctor and by extension our relationship with our patients.  We have been on the wrong track for many years: when we joined insurance panels; when we signed their contracts without reading them; when we added physician extenders to increase the patient volume in order stay open; when we sold our practices to the hospital in order to navigate the financial onslaught; when we let patients dictate the standard of care by requesting treatment by phone and prescriptions for the newest medication seen on TV; when we let fear control us; and when we lost our sense of value and purpose with the accompanying loss of joy, our profession was ripe for the picking. Update - The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) Trade Agreement

The U.S. is on the verge of approving and signing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement, and on its heels, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) trade agreement. These pending approvals will be expedited by the recently-approved Fast Track/TPA legislation, which specifically eliminates Congress' normal debate and amendment powers on trade agreements, and makes it easier to quickly pass trade legislation, with only a simple majority vote. These trade agreements give away U.S. sovereignty in a wide variety of far-reaching areas: our justice system, immigration, food safety; also including areas which are still secret; and additional areas yet to be determined by the new global Trans-Pacific Partnership Commission. (I say "yet to be determined," because the TPP is a living agreement, meaning that the TPP Commission, and global courts, will have the power to change and add to the TPP, without requiring U.S. approval. Imagine signing a business contract, a rental contract, or a prenuptial contract that can be arbitrarily changed, in the future, without your consent!) [more...]

Video - Ret. General Drops Bombshell: Obama Should Be Arrested for This 'Treasonous Activity'

Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Paul E. Vallely stated recently during a radio interview that President Obama should be "arrested for treasonous activities." The retired general said one group that should hold the president's feet to the fire are high-ranking members of the military. [Watch the video here...]

The Donald's Mouth Lands Him in Hot Water, But Was He Telling the Brutal Truth?

After what was a great decision by Donald Trump to run for president, he is now experiencing backlash over a few choice words about Mexican immigrants. In his presidential speech, Trump said "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best," which, when you look at the stats, it becomes clear he is telling the truth. Mexicans that cross the border are poorly educated and come from poverty-stricken cities that are littered with crime. About 60% of the Mexican immigrants that have come to America over the decades have not even graduated high school. These people come to America looking to have a better life, yet instilled in them are poor values. So if what Donald Trump said was the truth, where is the problem? That would be timing and word choice. [more...]

Trade Agreements Must Address Currency Manipulation

As the United States Senate prepares to call a vote on granting President Obama Fast Track Trade Promotion Authority to finalize the Trans Pacific Trade Agreement, (TPP), the Coalition for a Strong America submitted a strong warning to Congress that currency manipulation must be addressed in any trade agreement: "The Obama Administration's refusal to address currency manipulation is stunning, considering most of the TPP partners are IMF currency manipulation violators.  If TPP does not address currency manipulation, there is simply no way TPP can honestly be called a free trade agreement" said Michael Bowen, the organization's National Co-Chair and Reagan Committee inductee. The Coalition letter will be circulated to Members of Congress this week as Congressional leadership attempts to bring Fast Track Trade Authority to a vote. [more...]

How Accurate are Republican Presidential Polls Today?

We seem to hear a steady drumbeat of poll results every week as we approach the 2016 presidential election.  But how accurate are these polls anyway?  Some polls indicate that Jeb Bush is ahead and the frontrunner.  Some polls indicate Donald Trump has jumped into the second spot.  But what are the problems with these polls?  Who's really ahead today?  Who will be ahead after the first Republican debate in early August?  How much can you read into these polls? [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Did Greece Vote "NO" on its Future?

Have the Greeks just manipulated democracy to commit suicide - or to kill the Euro currency, destroy a united Europe, and undermine America's economy as well? On Sunday, July 5, Greeks voted "no" by roughly 61 percent in a national referendum to, as the New York Times put it, "reject bailout terms in rebuff to European leaders." In fact, European leaders had said that their offer to rescue a Greece drowning in debt would automatically end at midnight on June 30 if Greece failed to make a required debt payment. The ruling radical leftist Syriza Party called for this strange vote on a European bailout offer that had already been withdrawn five days earlier. By voting "no," Greeks could have been voting either "yes" or "no" to accept a conditional European bailout. And to further tilt the outcome, Syriza violated the traditional ballot order in yes-no votes by making its preferred "no" the first, not customary second, box to check on Sunday's ballot. Why the Democrats Will Do and Say Anything to Stop Donald Trump

Someone is getting very nervous. President Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, Jon Corzine - to name just a few. And I know why. The powerful socialist cabal and the corrupt crony capitalists are scared. I've never seen them this outraged, this vicious, this motivated, this coordinated - NEVER in all my years in politics have I seen anything like the way the mad dogs of hell have been unleashed on Donald Trump. When a known fraud, scam artist and tax cheat like Al Sharpton ran for President, I never saw anything remotely close to this. The over-the-top reaction to Trump by politicians of both parties, the media and the biggest corporations of America has been so swift and insanely angry that it suggests they are all threatened and frightened like never before. Cash-strapped Chicago Desperately Seeks Revenue by Taxing the Cloud

The Windy City has done the Beatles' "Taxman" lyrics one better by going after streaming concerns, which happen to include Netflix, Spotify, Xbox Live and Apple Music, among others. As brick-and-mortar retail outlets are on the decline and costs of online services are on the rise, cash-strapped municipalities burdened with upside down financial statements have been eyeing the Internet for some relief. Chicago appears to have taken the lead with its virtual raising of the price of cloud services via a new tax assessment. Since the city is facing a massive budget shortfall, largely due to pension payment obligations, the financially troubled city in an expansion of its "amusement tax" is imposing a nine percent tax on any activity that involves "watching electronically delivered television shows, movies or videos" (Netflix), "listening to electronically delivered music" (Spotify, Apple Music), or "participating in games, online or otherwise" (Xbox Live). Are Key Republican Leaders in D.C. Being Blackmailed?

Are key Republican leaders in D.C. from the Senate, House and Supreme Court being blackmailed? Tell me you haven't thought the exact same thing. Something is very wrong.

How is it possible that the GOP - the party that won in a massive historic landslide - gained nothing and won nothing? Not one victory. Zero. Zilch. Not only did Obama’s party lose badly, they lost everywhere from top to bottom: the Senate, the House, state legislatures, mayors, governors - you name it. They lost the Governorships of deep blue Maryland and Massachusetts. They were destroyed.

And it was all about Obama. He wasn’t defeated - he was repudiated. Democrat Senate candidates refused his help. Democrats would not stand next to him on the same stage. But since then, conservatives have lost everything. Name something we won or achieved after that smashing victory? Name one thing. Name anything. I dare you.

What’s happening just isn’t normal. Please tell me how it's possible that President Obama and his socialist cabal suffered the most massive and historic defeat in modern political history only 9 months ago - yet, since then, they’ve gotten everything they've ever wanted handed to them on a silver platter. Does that make sense to you? [more...]
