Surprise - Sen. Toomey Flips on TPP

Toomey just announced that he opposes TPP. His reasons are not the trade deficit or currency manipulation. Rather he cites pharma, IP and dairy issues as objections. He has been very strongly opposite us on trade deals, but this opposition looks good for the remainder of this year. After seeing the Toomey switch, I took a look at the race a little closer, including the Democratic challenger's positions.  His opponent, Katie McGinty, says “flip flop” which is an obvious, predictable and true assertion. McGinty is opposing TPP, Pennsylvanians oppose TPP, and the issue is big in the 2016 PA senate race. [more...]

TPP Update

On August 23, Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen told U.S. Congressmen Robert Pittenger and Randy Hultgren that his country intends to apply to join the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement when the second round of negotiations commence. The TPP is a docking agreement. After the current 12 partner countries ratify the TPP within their legislatures, other countries may apply to join the trade agreement. China is likely to apply to join the TPP. South Korea has also expressed interest in becoming a TPP partner country, as have the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. [more...]

Hillary’s Benghazi E-mails

Hillary's corruption was professional, but her data setup was strictly amateur, which meant that the efforts to erase e-mails were futile when they came up against government forensic techniques. Hillary and her people lied about turning over all the e-mails... and there's a constantly flowing trickle of e-mails never released by ClintonWorld. These are among them. [more...]

Kaepernick - The Dumbing Down of America

I wrote the new book, ANGRY WHITE MALE. But here’s the huge difference between liberals and conservatives: My anger is never directed at America, the greatest nation in world history... or our flag... or our national anthem. I love this country with all my heart. I’m only angry at the reckless liberal leaders destroying my country. San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is angry, but he directs his anger at America itself. He literally burns with rage against his own country. Kaepernick is Exhibit A for the dumbing down of America: he is young, dumb and filled with ignorance. He is a tragic example of the liberal biased, hateful “blame America first” propaganda taught to America’s young people at schools and universities. [more...]

Obama and Hillary Have Created GDP - Gross Domestic Poverty

How predictable. The economy is falling apart and Hillary is screaming about racism again. She’s trying to change the subject because she has nothing to change the facts of the economy. She’s trying to brand Trump as “KKK.” Perfect timing. My new book ANGRY WHITE MALE is out this week. It’s all about the fact that Obama and Hillary’s obsession with racial equality, social justice, fairness and diversity are destroying the U.S. economy – but not just for the white middle class or “angry white males.” [more...]

Louisiana Agriculture Devastated by Flooding

The flooding that hit Louisiana a few short weeks ago destroyed more than people’s homes. The LSU AgCenter, which plays an integral role in supporting the state’s agricultural industries, estimates Louisiana’s agriculture sector will suffer $110 million in losses as a result of flooding. The disastrous rains came at an awful time for farmers who were preparing their crops for the fall harvest. Although the economic damage is based on very early reports, that figure isn’t likely to improve. Many areas in the state’s southwestern parishes have yet to recover from floodwaters and consistently heavy rainfall since the flooding occurred will further delay harvest. The two largest commodities affected are rice and soybeans. Estimates show a loss of about $46 million for soybean production and about $33 million for rice production. Corn and sugarcane are also expected to suffer multi-million dollar losses. The numbers will change as a more detailed assessment takes place in the coming weeks, but initial reports are already devastating to the state’s economy. [more...]

Kap and the Ungrateful Left

On the Colin Kaepernick front: To Kap’s point, he was forced to go to school in this oppressive American culture where he had to attend air-conditioned schools.  He was given paper, pencils and books to work with. OMG! He attended schools that were kept safe by an oppressive government? that forced him to eat food they provided and drink clean water. OH, the humanity! Kap was able to pursue his dreams because of the men and women of ALL colors who fought and continue to fight for his freedom and all the freedoms of this country. He should consider a visit to or even try to live in countries like North Korea or Venezuela or any other country that would jail him for what he said! [more...]

Super PAC Aims to Change Democrats into Trumpocrats

A new Super PAC is seeking to make Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump the next occupant of the White House. The campaign group known as Trumpocrats PAC is made up of Democrats who distrust and oppose Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and who have switched their support to the GOP standard bearer. The executive director of the organization is Christian Rickers, a lifelong Democrat who voted in the primary election for then-Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. The group’s Web site, TrumpocratsPAC.com, features videos geared toward encouraging Democrats to get on board the Trump train. [more...]

Why Trump Will Win Hispanic Voters with His Immigration and Economic Policies

It might surprise some presidential election observers, but Trump’s immigration and economic policies align closely to many Hispanic voters’ needs and views. Why do Hispanic voters align well with Trump’s immigration policies? Why do his economic policies also resonate with Hispanic voters? It might turn out that Hispanic voters can be the critical element in a solid Trump victory in November. One other important point: Trump’s policies are in sharp contrast with the usual establishment Republican views.  Trump is helping to engineer the political party realignment I predicted in my 2016 book: Great News for America. It’s fascinating to watch history in the making. [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Overreaction to Putin’s Love of Trump

Indications are that Vladimir Putin has a favorite candidate in the upcoming U.S. presidential election and it doesn’t appear to be Hillary Clinton.  Donald Trump’s critics are naturally convinced this is further evidence of Trump’s unworthiness for office.  Oddly, the fact that Trump is also fairly popular in China, a country he routinely criticizes in the harshest of tones, helps explain why perhaps we shouldn’t be overly concerned what Putin or anybody else overseas thinks of our election. [more...]

Our Catastrophic Failure of Jihad Denial

An outraged nation watched on September 11 as a handful of Muslim terrorists managed to kill thousands of Americans in one of the worst attacks in our history. Answers were demanded and commissions were established to investigate why we failed to prevent the attack. Why didn’t we know that it was coming? Why didn’t we do something? It’s still a good question as the number of attacks mount. But under Obama, we actually know less about Islamic terrorism than we used to. [more...]

The Altered Dem Universe

This past week, according to many reports, flooding in Louisiana is the worst natural disaster since Hurricane Sandy. As is the norm these days, the loons on the far Left and mainstream media rallied to the president’s defense: “He can’t be everywhere all the time,” “His presence would only make things worse,” “Nothing can move when he is on the ground.”  They sound like valid defenses, right? The mainstream media wouldn’t call out Hillary, Obama or any other high-ranking official if they were caught beheading Christians themselves, or if they hand carried the ransom money to Iran, or if they had video of Hillary giving the order to erase, erase, erase. Obamacare - A House of Cards

The latest insurance company to pull out of the Obamacare exchanges because of financial losses shines a light on the slippery foundation upon which it was set up. In the haste to be all things to all people in order to sell it, little thought was given to how it would actually work; and now the ‘unintended’ consequences continue to pile up.  If proponents of overhauling the healthcare system had practiced critical thinking instead of pursing their goal to pass a progressive agenda at all costs, they would have seen this coming. These are the fatal flaws that make Obamacare unsustainable despite all of the rhetoric that it can be made better... [more...]

They Don't Have the Votes for TPP

The votes for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) do not exist at this time. Big qualifier... "at this time." Here is what I know: My education task is, and has been, to show legislators and staffers how trade deals have helped cause our trade deficit, and enabled new mercantilism like currency manipulation. I also make sure everyone knows that the government's own economic projections state that growth will not occur from the TPP, the trade deficit will worsen, and jobs will not be created. Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and anonymous GOP whip team folks have told the press, or us, that the votes for TPP are not there.  The non-public declarations have been more assertive than the public ones. Trump Grabs the Momentum

Despite mainstream media rumblings that the 2016 presidential race is virtually over, GOP nominee Donald Trump recently took hold of the ball and with his eye firmly on the goalpost is making a run for it. In recent days, Trump invited new people on board his campaign team, made a series of policy related speeches, expressed regret for hurt he may previously have caused with ill-chosen words, started a dialogue with voters in communities of color, took a trip to flood-stricken Louisiana to comfort folks and provide much-needed supplies, and revved up his television ads in some key battleground states. Any one of these actions could potentially have altered the electoral trajectory. However, the finely tuned effort, which was carried out within a condensed timeframe, has had the effect of softening the negative narrative that the mainstream media had crafted and giving Trump an image boost in the process. Trump Reboots While Clinton Relaxes

Trump has decided to pivot away from many distractions and focus on rebooting his campaign on the issues that won him the nomination. That said, Trump will probably continue to send out tweets that criticize some of his harshest critics. That seems to be part of his personal style. While Trump is changing his campaign style and content, Clinton schedules only a few campaign appearances and focuses more on raising money. At latest count, it’s been 260 days since her last press conference.  Her campaign strategy appears to be... [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Trump's Ace-in-the-Hole - The Black Vote

Black Americans are the key to Trump’s victory. They will put Trump over the top and will make him President Donald J. Trump. I believe Trump will attract the most African American votes of any Republican presidential candidate in modern history. He will get upwards of 15 percent of the black vote, with a shot at 20 percent. Why do I say this? First of all, because things have never been worse for black Americans living in the inner cities of America. Pick a city: Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, New Orleans. The poverty, hopelessness, homelessness, unemployment, violence, murder, drugs, inferior education for their kids - all of it has never been worse. [more...]

Refugee Industry Goes into High Gear for Obama/UN Big Show

The left pro "Bring more Syrian Refugees" into America bleeding heart liberals are gearing up for a massive rally in Washington, D.C. on August 28th (the warm-up act) to pressure Congress to start preparing the way for Obama to bring up to 200,000 refugees to America in one year starting this October.

This is the launch of the gin-up media season for the pro refugee industry as it pushes into the critical month of September when Obama will send his last "determination" to Congress on how many refugees we will take in FY2017. Congress can decide to fund those numbers or not. The big propaganda show itself will occur at the United Nations on September 19th and 20th.

Here are quick facts about what refugees who have already arrived in the U.S. brought with them to America:

  • Cases of rape and sexual assault in Massachusetts, Idaho, Virginia, Utah, California, North Dakota and Minnesota. All have one common theme: the perpetrators were of refugee status. This is the pattern of disrespect Muslim immigrants display toward women, children and Western values.
  • Refugee cities have become hubs for foreign illnesses that were once well controlled. Cases of highly infectious bacterial diseases like active Tuberculosis have been mushrooming all across the states: Colorado: 16 cases, Ohio: 11 cases, Vermont: 35 cases, Wisconsin: 117 cases, Florida: 11 cases, Idaho: 7 cases, Indiana: 4 cases, Kentucky: 9 cases, and North Dakota: 4 cases.
This UN stunt is geared to help Hillary. Obama and the United Nations are counting on a Clinton presidency to continue (and expand) the work they are beginning on August 28th.

ACT for America is mobilizing patriotic citizens across the country to come to D.C. in September to tell Congress not just NO, but HELL NO! on funding Obama's refugees proposal.

Mainstream Media No Longer Even Faking Objectivity

Journalistic ethics have been abandoned in favor of the politics of personal preference. Nowhere is this more evident than in the nasty and distorted news coverage of the presidential campaign of Republican nominee Donald Trump. In a recent interview on NewsmaxTV, Emmy award-winning investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson told host Steve Malzberg that she saw and heard an ex-news media bureau chief urge journalists to jettison their ethics and focus on bringing down Trump. During the television appearance, Attkisson recounted her attendance at an awards dinner in Washington, D.C. for a journalist group. “I was in a room of journalists in which one of them encouraged the others quite publicly to step up and do something because he said the outcome of this election was so important… He was talking about journalists stepping outside of their role to make sure Donald Trump doesn’t get elected. And he received applause for that,” Attkisson said. [more...]

Trump Tax Return Challenge

It’s time for Donald Trump to turn the tables on Hillary. It’s so obvious that Hillary and her cabal of socialists and media scam artists are going to try to make Donald Trump’s tax returns the biggest issue of the Fall. Their game plan is so easy to read - Hillary’s bribed media partners will turn up the heat on Trump like clockwork in a coordinated media blitz right after Labor Day. I have the perfect response for Donald. He should say, “I’ll release my tax returns on the spot... as soon as Hillary locates her 32,000 deleted e-mails - when she releases all Clinton Foundation records, the transcripts of her speeches to Goldman Sachs, and her authenticated medical records.” [more...]

From Milwaukee to Iraq - Culture Counts

When Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee County said that absentee fathers, gangs, questionable lifestyle behaviors, and related pathologies are at the root of the recent rioting in Milwaukee, he was simply saying that culture is a critical, if not THE critical, driver of human events.  This is true, not only in America but in Iraq and Afghanistan and all points in between.  Unfortunately, it appears this is a lesson we will have to learn the hard way. [more...]

Why is America Experiencing Riots in its Cities?

Why all the riots? I believe that riots serve to distract Americans from focusing on the important issues America faces during this presidential election. I’m not suggesting that any campaign is purposely starting riots. However, some people might try to use the riots to distract from major threats of global terrorism or the anemic economy, for example. As I explain in my book on the 2016 presidential election, Great News for America, there are major political party realignments taking place during this election. Support groups that were once thought to be impervious to change are in the early process of fragmenting. Some people might try to use rioting as an attempt to hold old coalitions together for a little longer. [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Oil Still Burdens Global and Local Economy

We are half a year removed from a time when oil was at a low and stock investors cringed as asset prices moved in lockstep with crude. The spring and summer have been kind on the market though. Oil prices have risen to stable ground and major stock indexes have reached all-time highs. What’s next? For two years, global oil production has sharply outpaced demand. This supply glut drove prices lower and caused suffering for the international and domestic industries. My own backyard, Louisiana, was hit significantly hard with job cuts, business closures, and a decimated state economy. Since 2014, more than 12,000 jobs have been lost in the Louisiana oil and gas industry. Nationwide, that number has approached 200,000. [more...]

400 Million More Reasons to Vote for Trump

Donald Trump may have mishandled a crying baby and a Gold Star family over the last week, but at least he didn’t deliver a crate containing 400 million in untraceable cash to the world’s largest state-sponsor of terrorism.  In the end, this might be the choice before the American people - the wrong words or the wrong policies.  The secret payment to Iran is a timely reminder that, in politics as in life, actions speak louder than words.  The more actions we see relative to Iran, the more it seems like President Obama’s Iran policy, and the nuclear deal at its center, will do anything but make the world safer for Americans (or anyone else).  That’s a theme the Trump campaign will be sure to emphasize in the months ahead. [more...]

Clinton Media Zombies

Watching the news, I notice MANY swipes at Donald Trump - for his mounting(?) scandals, failed businesses, people screwed out of money or jobs, him supposedly wanting to take away freedom of speech, or his wife who posed naked. At first, I thought they were talking about the Clintons; but when I saw no mention of e-mail scandals, the trail of dead bodies, and the many lives of women ruined, I knew it either wasn’t the Clintons or they ran out of room in the column. Despite the Polls, Will Trump Beat Clinton in a Landslide?

The ongoing polling results are extremely volatile and probably indicate an electorate uncertain about who to vote for in the general election.  Large swings, if they are accurate, indicate that those in the electorate have not made up their minds.  If voters don’t eventually focus in on one person to become the next president, it’s possible the winner will be determined by their opponent - that is, whoever makes the biggest mistake before Election Day, or whoever has the biggest scandal or negative news revealed at the end of the campaign. Another factor that might be at work is that the underlying models upon which the polls are based are essentially inaccurate because they are not taking into account the dynamic behavior of voters in an historic and critical presidential election. Walmart Takes on Amazon

Competition is heating up in the world of e-commerce. Walmart announced Monday that it will be acquiring the e-commerce site Jet.com for a whopping $3.3 billion as it aggressively moves to take on Amazon’s recent dominance in the online space. Though Walmart is a leader in brick-and-mortar retail sales, online sales for the company only accounted for 3% of its total revenue last year. An acquisition like this is necessary if Walmart is ever going to challenge Amazon. [more...]

They Still Back TPP as Trade Deficit Jumps

The U.S trade deficit has gone up again and it seems everyone is turning a blind eye toward it - except Republican nominee Donald Trump. The deficit suffered an 8.7 percent jump in June and has officially reached a 10-month high of $44.5 billion, according to MarketWatch. This jump reflects an increase in the price of oil and of imported consumer goods, namely cellphones and pharmaceuticals. Despite the astronomical jumps, many establishment leaders in the Republican Party as well as President Obama are still urging Congress to pass the TPP, a deal that will almost certainly increase the deficit still further. Trump, however, has made it known the trade deficit is a serious problem for the American people, as previous administrations have focused far too heavily on international trade deals instead of on jobs at home. Syrian Refugees in America
An Economic Burden or a Potential Boon?

According to the BBC, the UK government’s pledge to re-settle some 20,000 Syrians by 2020 will cost half a billion pounds with officials conceding that the cost is “huge.” The refugee crisis is said to have played a crucial role in the EU referendum vote back in June and Britain’s ultimate decision to “Leave” the European Union after over forty years. This year alone the Canadian commitment to refugee resettlement will end up costing Canadian taxpayers close to $1 billion as reported by Huffington Post Canada, where monthly assistance stipends barely cover affordable housing, food, clothing and language courses. In the United States, President Obama has pledged that the US will take up to 10,000 refugees by the end of 2016 and has left the door open to accept up to 100,000 more in fiscal year 2017, far beyond the worldwide cap. So what is the potential impact of tens of thousands of new Syrian immigrants on an already fragile US economy? That depends upon who you ask. [more...]

Trouble in Rio

We are days away from the opening ceremonies of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro; and in contrast to the games’ athletes who appear to be in top form, Rio is far from prepared. From filthy water to safety concerns to frustration from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the city’s signs of instability overshadow the excitement for the quadrennial competition. According to a 16-month study commissioned by the Associated Press, Rio’s water is teeming with viruses and bacteria. Seeing levels of virus this high is unheard of in the U.S. because we treat our waste water. The study suggests that ingesting just 3 teaspoons of Rio’s filthy water is enough to make a person violently ill. This is a major concern not only for Olympic swimmers (let’s pray the pool water is sanitary), but for the expected half-a-million tourists and foreigners attending the games. At this point, we can only hope to avoid an epidemic. [more...]

The Media Hates Trump

Although I honor the Muslim soldier for dying for this country, what does his sad death twelve long years ago have to do with the 2016 election, or my day-to-day concerns as a business owner and taxpayer? The correct answer is nothing. This was a trap - a media WMD - "weapon of mass distraction." This was a brilliant set-up to distract the voters and to destroy Trump’s momentum. Trump fell for it, and it worked (in the short term). But what’s truly amazing is the magnitude of the media conspiracy. [more...]

General Allen’s Service to Al Qaeda’s Paymasters

After two American soldiers were murdered by an Islamic terrorist in Afghanistan while a crowd of protesters shouted “Death to Americans” and “Death to Infidels,” General Allen visited his men. “There will be moments like this when you’re searching for the meaning of this loss. There will be moments like this when your emotions are governed by anger and a desire to strike back,” Allen pleaded. “Now is not the time for revenge, now is not the time for vengeance.” General Allen had already apologized to the killers for the “desecration” of the Koran by American soldiers who had been destroying copies of the hateful document being used by Taliban prisoners to send notes to each other. "I offer my sincere apologies for any offence this may have caused, to the president of Afghanistan, the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and most importantly, to the noble people of Afghanistan," he had whined. The “noble people” of Afghanistan were the ones chanting “Death to America” and “Death to Infidels.” [more...]

Obama’s Ransom Payment to an Outlaw Regime

Under the headline “U.S. Sent Cash to Iran as Americans Were Freed,” the Wall Street Journal reported on August 3rd the secret transport to Iran of 400 million in euros and other non-U.S. dollar currencies at around the same time that five American hostages held captive were released by the Iranian regime. The Obama administration insists that it was all just a coincidence. It was only “paying off the first installment of a $1.7 billion settlement of Iranian claims before the Iran-US Claims Tribunal in The Hague,” arising from a failed arms deal that had preceded the overthrow of the Shah. There was no quid pro quo or ransom paid to get our hostages back, claims the administration. Everyone else with an ounce of common sense knows the truth – the Obama administration violated the long-held policy of the U.S. not to pay ransom or make other concessions to hostage takers in order to procure the release of the prisoners detained unlawfully by Iran. [more...]

5 Ways Obamacare is Dismantling Affordable Quality Healthcare

Despite the feel good rhetoric about the success of the Affordable Care Act that is being peddled during this election season, reality has hit home for many Americans. Patients have come to know that: 1. The subsidies don’t cover the high out of pocket costs from deductibles and co-insurance. 2. The government centered approach has led to a decrease in choice. 3. Insurance companies have decreased benefits and access to physicians while increasing out of pocket costs. 4. Doctors have been put in the untenable position of having to choose between practicing patient centered medicine based in the Hippocratic Oath vs. sacrificing patient privacy and individualized medicine under the cloak of ‘value based’ medicine. Hacker Door Opened Wide by Hillary

Reports circulating in recent days indicate that the computers of 3 Democratic Party institutions have been hacked: The DNC, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and the campaign files of Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. The said cyber-attacks relate to the unprecedented political scandal in which Hillary has been embroiled throughout her primary campaign - that being, the violation of federal law through the use of an unsecured private server that contained classified information. Hillary’s use of an unprotected home server essentially opened wide a portal for digital thieves to surreptitiously cart away massive amounts of data, which were housed in various computers that existed to service Democratic Party institutions and affiliated individuals. Hillary - More Third-World than Trump

His critics, of which there is no shortage, like to compare Donald Trump to leaders like Russia’s Putin and Turkey’s Erdogan, i.e., authoritarian strongmen riding a wave of insecurity to power.  Those same critics are far less likely to comment on the far more pernicious and dangerous set of attributes that Hillary Clinton shares with undemocratic, Third World leaders. The Clintons are not as bad as dictators, but they have lowered the bar in America. Of course these kind of problems - corruption, stifling political competition, being above the law - are much worse in places like China. The point isn’t that the Clintons are just as bad as the world’s least democratic leaders. The point is that, after more than 200 years of democracy, one would think America would have higher standards. [more...]

The TPP Ambassador’s “Accident”

Yesterday, U.S. Trade Online reported that U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman had a “bike accident.” It was a very short article, and other than the words “due to a bike accident,” the article was entirely devoted to the international meetings that Amb. Froman would miss this week, and the name of the person assigned to take his place. An Internet search reveals no additional news stories about the bike accident. The lack of news coverage is odd, because when high-ranking U.S. legislators and diplomats have disruptive health events take place, that kind of thing is considered newsworthy. Even if the diplomat were not well-known, one would expect a variety of political media to cover the news. Amb. Froman is a key figure in the negotiation and potential ratification of the beleaguered Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement.
