Who Wanted to Ban All Muslims?

The President did launch against Muslims... back in 1980. That was President Jimmy Carter. Carter’s Attorney General at the time ordered all Iranian students holding a visa to report to immigration officials or face immediate deportation. A federal judge ruled it unconstitutional (sound familiar?) BUT, it was then reversed by a higher court in September of 1980. There were over 60,000 students registered. Of that, 430 were deported because of visa issues and concerns. Another 5,000 left voluntarily. Carter also ordered the invalidation of visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the U.S. He stated that we would not reissue visas nor would we issue new visas except for compelling and proven humanitarian aid reasons or where our national interest is at hand and the directive is to be strictly interpreted! Can someone show me any evidence of the Democrat Liberal outcry? [more...]

Zuckerberg’s Latest Venture into Politics

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg recently took a trip to the Political Land of Oz. In a highly partisan Facebook post, he sharply criticized the executive orders that President Trump recently signed, which relate to our nation’s immigration policy. The social media magnate appeared to ditch logic and accuracy in his post and instead favored the use of tired Democratic talking points to make the liberal case. [more...]

Hollywood Filmmaker Joel Gilbert and Roger Stone Discuss Obama's Legacy

Roger Stone and Hollywood documentary filmmaker Joel Gilbert recently analyzed President Obama's term as President and his legacy. They explained that Obama’s is a trained “community agitator,” and was only interested in using his presidency to divide the country, rather than serve America. Gilbert believes Obama will now return to his natural state of being as a “professional agitator” through his organization “Organizing for Action” rather than retire quietly to play golf. Gilbert described President Obama’s farewell speech as filled with deceptive claims of success, when in fact everything Obama cited as positive was in fact a dismal failure. Overall, Gilbert described Obama as a candidate with a fake background that not surprisingly produced a “fake presidency” whose damage it will take many years to recover from. [more...]

Trump Tsunami Drowning the Left Politically

President Trump won the historic 2016 presidential election as part of a popular, conservative tsunami ushering in the new Conservative Era I discussed in detail in my book, Great News for America. Not surprisingly, the uber left has reacted in their usual ways, whining and complaining, recounts and fake news, protests and marches, rioting and violence, and when all else fails, lawsuits.  But, none of those 20th century tactics are working in this the new Conservative Era. President Trump and a popular, conservative tsunami is drowning out the left politically. The Anti-Constitutional Era of America’s recent past has given way to the new Conservative Era. The American Electorate has “trumped” the small uber left minority that has been running America in the recent past, over the objections and the will of the American people. Despite still controlling the Old Main Stream Media (OMSM), Hollywood, and the far left universities with their old ideas and tactics are not working. Americans are on to their tools of political correctness, political intimidation, and deceit.  The OMSM is no longer considered honest and Americans are ignoring their fake news. [more...]

Consumer Brands Highlight 2017 M&A Forecast

It used to be hip and cool to drink a craft beer, eat responsibly farmed foods, and experiment with global spices. Now, those trendy choices are becoming mainstream, and large companies and private equity groups are taking notice of the popular consumer preferences. In 2017, we will likely see more acquisitions in the craft food and beverage industry. Consumer preferences have shifted in the food industry. Nutrition, sustainability, and authenticity are at the forefront of these shifts, and consumers are exploring global cuisines with an emphasis on freshness. Developers of unique food products are benefiting from the changes, and large corporations and private equity groups - with their glut of investment funds - are primed for acquiring popular brands. Keep an eye out for M&A activity around consumer brands in the food and beverage space as craft morphs into mainstream. [more...]

Chinese New Year - Bad News for President Trump?

Chinese New Year, the “Year of the Rooster (or Chicken),” on Saturday kicked off more than two weeks of celebration across much of Asia. It could, warn Chinese astrologers, bring economic and other major problems for President Trump. The “Fire Rooster” influence is to be practical and plan carefully, while keeping its temper under careful control. President Trump will have a successful spring and summer, says Hong Kong Chinese zodiac diviner Priscilla Lam, who told CNN a year ago that he would win the 2016 election. But as the Year of the Rooster cools this coming autumn and winter, fortune teller Lam warns that President Trump will “run into difficulties.” [more...]

President Trump Week One vs. the Uber Left

President Trump Week One is a study in rapid fire action and turning the nation toward conservative principles and policies. So far, it’s a long list of dramatic changes in policy direction from the failed progressive socialist agenda of Obama and Clinton to the traditional values of freedom and prosperity that built America into the greatest nation on the face of the earth. In parallel with President Trump’s decisive “Make America Great Again” actions, the uber left sore losers continue to complain about their stunning electoral defeats. [more...]

Democrats Must Be Racist

"Democrats lost because they did not know how to talk about race," Aimee Allison told the DNC candidates forum on race. Allison is a professional “race talker.” She’s a senior VP at PowerPAC+ which is dedicated to tapping in to the “political power of the multiracial majority.” It’s busy toting its co-founder’s book “Brown is the New White” which claims that a “demographic revolution” created a “New American Majority” and that Democrats should stop wasting their time on white voters. Steve Philips wrote it a year ago. Since then, Democrats rode the “New Majority” into political oblivion. White voters made up 71% of the electorate. Hillary won little more than a third of this “old majority.” The last Democrat running for the White House to win white voters was LBJ. [more...]

Ethics Group Brings Bogus Constitutional Suit Against President Trump

The left-wing group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is taking the lead in filing a lawsuit “alleging that President Trump is violating the Constitution by allowing his hotels and other business operations to accept payments from foreign governments,” according to the New York Times. The Trump haters’ tiresome efforts to delegitimize the Trump presidency goes on. Leading funders of CREW include groups affiliated with George Soros. Previously run by Hillary Clinton’s attack dog, David Brock, CREW’s chairman today is Norman Eisen, who is one of the leading lawyers on the anti-Trump case. Eisen had “bundled” donations between $200,000 and $500,000 from other contributors for Obama in 2008, for which he was rewarded with an appointment as special advisor to former President Obama for “ethics.” [more...]

Who Killed the TPP?

The TPP is dead. On January 23, 2017, U.S. President Donald J. Trump signed a Presidential memorandum, addressed to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), instructing the acting USTR to begin the process of withdrawing the U.S. from the TPP. Due to requirements spelled out within the 5,544-page document, the ratification process cannot proceed without U.S. participation. What happens next? [more...]

Protests Further Divide Country

On a day meant to represent the unity of America and the backing of new leadership, January 20th reinforced the stark divide in our country as protesters and anarchists took to the streets during the President’s swearing in ceremony. The demonstrations turned violent with confrontations with police that resulted in over 200 arrests throughout the day. The protesters are protected by their First Amendment right of freedom of speech, but these demonstrations in no way represent the values we hold as Americans. Throwing objects at police, destroying storefronts, vandalizing streets and businesses, and damaging vehicles is no way to exhibit frustration. As we enter a new era of American policy, business and trade, we must adapt to the changing environment. We must always fight for the issues that are important to us, but not with violence, and not in a way that divides us. We need to work together and restart the dialogue to enact change that betters the lives for all Americans. [more...]

The Robot Revolution

President Trump may save thousands of jobs, but such rescues are likely to be temporary. The reason is that American jobs will soon be lost not to foreign countries but to domestic robots. Robots with Artificial Intelligence could replace humans in up to 47 percent of today’s jobs, from hamburger flippers and factory workers to truck drivers, according to a report issued December 20, 2016, by the White House. Many millions of people will be unemployed and in need of money. The government at the same time will lose trillions in revenue from jobless, broke former taxpayers. In my new book with Craig R. Smith, Money, Morality & The Machine: Smith's Law in an Unethical, Over-Governed Age, we predicted that the European Union would turn to strange measures - and in early 2017, they have. The EU, exactly as we warned, moved in January to make robots “electronic persons.” It did this so that all kinds of robots can be made to pay taxes – especially the steep retirement tax – that the robots, which never “retire,” will never receive as retirement benefits. These robot taxes can be used to keep government fat as well as to provide part of a guaranteed “universal income” that all people could receive, whether they worked or not. A test of such “universal income” just got underway with thousands of people in Finland. [more...]

My Dad and President Reagan

My dad was a blue-collar butcher, but he was no ordinary butcher. David Root was a Jewish Republican butcher from Brooklyn who became one of the founding members of the New York state Conservative Party. My dad and his fellow Conservative Party leaders took a huge gamble and endorsed a long-shot for president back in 1980. The political experts said they were delusional; they said an old washed-up, B-movie actor could never be president. They said he was too old. The Conservative Party of New York became the first major organization to endorse Ronald Reagan. Soon after Reagan’s election, my father the blue-collar butcher, opened the mail one day to find a formal invitation to the inauguration of Ronald Reagan. It was his prized possession, his proudest achievement. It was framed and displayed in his living room until the day he died in 1992. Thirty-seven years after my father was invited to President Reagan’s inauguration, his son attended the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump. [more...]

Late-night Comedy Targets President Trump

Some of Hollywood’s most notorious liberal activists appear to be hell-bent on continuing their quest to spread the hate, most notably against the nation’s new president, Donald J. Trump. Late-night comedy shows were, of course, a significant part of the media messaging that sought to shape the electorate, particularly younger voters who routinely obtain political news and information from late-night programming. Interestingly, the mainstream media (MSM) have and continue to methodically lay the groundwork for late-night writers. In a sort of perverse media ritual, a false or exaggerated story is initially disseminated by the MSM so that late-night comedy shows are then able to run with it, ultimately twisting the false narrative into vicious mockery with the ill-intentioned purpose of massaging the public mind. Obama’s Legacy, Continued

Director Joel Gilbert revisits his blockbuster film, ‘Dreams from My Real Father’ that debunked President Obama’s official background as a moderate candidate with an inspiring family background. In 2012, Gilbert’s film shocked the public with an alternate personal and political history of Barack Obama in which he presented evidence that Obama’s real biological father was not the Kenyan Obama, but rather the American Communist propagandist and Soviet Agent Frank Marshall Davis. Gilbert further presented evidence that Davis had radicalized Obama during his formative years. Obama had discussed Davis and his influence extensively in his bestselling autobiography, Dreams from My Father, but claimed Davis was only a friend of his grandfather. Gilbert will discuss extensive new research and new information he has developed since the film, including bombshell revelations from Obama’s best friend from high school whom Gilbert befriended. The Radical Left’s Plans to Sabotage the Inauguration

Left-wing thugs are planning to sabotage President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration festivities.  An umbrella organization, #DisruptJ20, also known as the DC Counter-Inaugural Welcoming Committee, describes its mission as “building the framework needed for mass protests to shut down the inauguration of Donald Trump and planning widespread direct actions to make that happen.” Such actions will include setting up blockades at checkpoints to prevent people from gaining access to the inauguration proceedings. In addition to attempting to shut down the inauguration ceremonies and any related celebrations, they are “planning to paralyze the city itself.” [more...]

Safe Spaces for Fascists

Hammers, broken windows and fights. That’s what a safe space for free speech looked like at UC Davis. Safe spaces are places where everyone who isn’t a safe space fascist feels unsafe. The more safe spaces a campus has, the less freedom of speech the students and faculty dare to enjoy.  UC Davis has a great many safe spaces. The University of California institution has safe spaces for illegal aliens (the Undocumented Student Center) and for asexuals (the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual Resource Center) which hosted a “Tampon Tea Party.” It has segregated safe space housing in Campbell Hall for black students and the Women's Resources and Research Center will provide safe spaces and “Mind Spa Services” for anyone offended by Christian views on abortion. But all the safe spaces were about making life unsafe for everyone who wasn’t a left-wing fascist. [more...]

The Starting Point for the Trump Economy

When President-elect Donald Trump takes the oath of office on Friday, he will be inheriting a U.S. economy which has grown slow and steady under the Obama administration. Trump must certainly be happy to receive an economy which isn’t completely broken. Economists will be watching for data on industrial production, employment, and inflation this week. All three of these economic indicators have been a focus in Trump’s plan for the economy. With so many metrics already so strong, Trump should key in on the weaker facets of the economy like GDP growth. Americans are very optimistic on the economy with Trump in office. [more...]

Trump’s Inauguration Will Result in Optimism

First and foremost, Trump’s inauguration is an optimistic celebration. Despite some Democrats boycotting the inauguration festivities and some left-wing radicals hoping to disrupt the events, most Americans are celebrating America’s peaceful transition of power. The fact is that out of over 3,100 counties in the United States, Trump carried about 2,600 counties to Clinton’s roughly 500 counties. Another fact is that most Americans believed that America was on the wrong track preceding the 2016 presidential election. Last summer, RealClearPolitics was reporting nearly 70% of the average “Direction of Country” polls indicated America was on the wrong track. [more...]

The Russians Are Coming... or are they?

It was painful to watch the recent Senate Armed Services Committee hearing chaired by Senator McCain titled “Foreign Cyber Threats to the United States.” It should have been called ”A hit job hearing on Russian hacking to de-legitimize the election of Donald Trump.” Testifying before the committee were three of Obama’s handpicked lackeys. Their conclusion? Surprise, surprise: “the Russians were out to get Donald Trump elected.” Are you kidding me? The Russians and the rest of the world’s bad state actors have had a free-roll field day with Obama in charge and certainly looked forward to another eight years of the same with Obama's lackey Hillary Clinton. If the Russians did have anything to do with the release of the Hillary, Podesta and DNC e-mails, they (like the media and political establishment) expected Hillary to be elected and did it solely to embarrass her. They certainly didn’t do it to help elect President Trump who will stand up to them and “make America great again.” [more...]

The New McCarthyism

The term “McCarthyism” has routinely been used in a generic sense to refer to the practice of making public accusations of subversion without evidence to substantiate the allegations; this is particularly true in the present day when the term is used to refer to the stifling of contrary political viewpoints and marginalizing of an individual or group from society. The Hollywood blacklist, which is often associated with McCarthyism, embodied a policy of denying employment to entertainment professionals because of their alleged sympathies with, or membership in, the Communist Party. Now comes the use of the term “reverse McCarthyism,” which is proving to be accurate as numerous prospective performers for the Trump inauguration recently experienced firsthand the repercussions of this new version of the blacklist. The Ivory Tower is Crumbling on Trade Theory

The majority of the economic community supported every trade agreement ever signed, despite the fact that they never read the agreements. They saw the words "free trade agreement" and that was enough for them. Anyone who said otherwise was a protectionist and an isolationist. Economists (wrongly) consider themselves scientists but they refuse to jettison old trade theories when the data refutes them. Instead they simply talk louder. We are in a new era when the Ivory Tower is shaken. New understandings must replace the old conventional wisdom. We need to set a new goal of balanced trade as the new fundamental objective for the U.S. Indeed, that is the forgotten objective of old free trade. We will produce more of what we consume and harvest the good jobs that come with that production. [more...]

Obama Appoints His Own Goebbels to Holocaust Memorial Board

Some administrations go out with dignity. Obama is going out with displays of spite. There's paying back the pro-Israel Jews. And then the Cubans. Now back to the Jews. Appointing his cronies, especially widely disliked ones like Jarrett, Rice and Rhodes who are unpopular even in Dem circles, to boards that they are utterly unqualified for is tawdry enough. It shows the corruption underneath all the “Hope and Change.” [more...]

Parental Choice to Reverse Poor Global Rankings

Education, one of the top issues President-Elect Trump focused on during his campaign, is very much on the minds of all Americans. In an important book, education reform expert and Independent Institute Research Fellow Vicki E. Alger, Ph.D., author of FAILURE: The Federal Misedukation of America's Children, shows us what the problems are and offers sound strategies toward improving on the failures of America's educational system.

By the year 2000, American "students must be first in the world in math and science achievement." That's what President George H. W. Bush insisted in his 1990 State of the Union address. Two leading international exams confirm we're still not even close.

Results from the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) show that eighth grade math performance has improved slightly from 2011. However, there has been no statistical improvement in average fourth grade math and science performance or average eighth grade science performance since 2011. That's the good news. By the time American students approach the end of high school, they rank in the lower half of developed countries.

Results from the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) indicate that the average reading and science performance of American 15-year-olds is essentially flat compared to 2012, and that math performance has declined. This performance is not because the U.S. has more socio-economically disadvantaged students. Nor is it because the U.S. doesn't spend enough. Currently we spend over $15,000 per pupil - more than every developed country except Luxembourg and Switzerland. [more...]

Flight Stowaway Should Raise Feds’ Eyebrows and Fears

When United Express flight 6060 landed at Dulles Airport, after leaving Charlotte, N.C. on Sunday, the Dulles baggage-handling crew discovered one of their kindred inside the cargo hold along with the rest of the checked bags. The man spent the entire one hour and 22-minute flight in the hold keeping a close eye on the baggage, if not the cargo door. Reginald Gaskin’s impromptu journey took him to an altitude of 27,000 feet, but fortunately for him the cargo hold is both pressurized and temperature controlled. Dulles authorities were alerted to his misadventure when the ramp servicing company contacted the tower to tell security they were one short when the roll was called. Gaskin is not an employee of United, but instead works for G2 Secure Staff. He was wearing his uniform and had some company identification, but said his personal identification was back in his Charlotte airport locker. This is of concern to airport authorities for two reasons. First is the security question. The TSA and the FAA don’t want just anyone sleeping with your bags as the cargo flies through the air. Obama’s Chicagoland War Zone

Obama often lectures us about “Black Lives Matter.” But do they matter to Obama or his fellow Democrats? Obama and his Democrat friends have controlled Chicago for a half century. It is now more like a Middle East war zone than the heartland of America. It is more Kabul than Kansas. Over the past three holiday weekends, we saw unimaginable violence and murder on the streets of Chicago. Over Thanksgiving weekend, 61 Chicagoans were shot, nine killed. Over Christmas weekend, 60 Chicagoans were shot, 11 killed. On New Year’s Day alone, 28 Chicagoans were shot - the first one at 1:05 a.m. Happy New Year - we just set another all-time record! In total, Chicago saw 3,550 shootings and a remarkable 762 murders in 2016. Murders are up more than 50 percent from 2015 and have nearly doubled since 2013.... and it’s spiraling out of control. Crime Takes a Social Media Turn

The nation recently watched in horror as a Facebook Live post displayed for all to see four young people hold a mentally-disabled individual captive, repeatedly humiliate him, and subject him to torture. The defendants, who are 18-years-old or older, are accused of multiple felonies, including hate crimes. Each, in addition to the hate crime count, has been charged with felony aggravated kidnapping, aggravated unlawful restraint, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Facebook has officially stated that the site will “prohibit content deemed to be directly harmful….” However, this case will potentially challenge the social media giant and other web concerns to alter policies, particularly regarding the use of platforms such as Facebook Live, which is a highly- promoted feature on Facebook and a significant part of the site’s future business plans. How the Obama Administration Has Emboldened the Palestinian Death Cult

Thanks to the anti-Israel United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which the Obama administration shamefully permitted to pass without a veto, the Palestinians have now been given the cover of so-called international law to justify their actions. In their twisted minds, since the UN resolution claimed the establishment of settlements by Israel, including in east Jerusalem, has "no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation under international law," the Palestinians should have the “right” to kill any Israeli residents and soldiers who are present where they do not belong. That is not terrorism, according to this perverted logic. It is “heroic” resistance against an international law breaker. And calling for such resistance is not the incitement to commit acts of terror that the resolution condemned in general terms. [more...]

Is Trump in Control... or Out of Control?

Is President-elect Donald Trump’s unique behavior calculated - or pure seat-of-the-pants emotionalism? With all the talk about "draining the swamp" during campaign, let's examine where the Trump presidency is headed. Trump’s appointments are decidedly conventional, and therefore not revolutionary. Yes, many are hardline and conservative on the political spectrum, but they are not challenging the way Washington does business. Case in point: Jay Clayton, a partner at the Wall Street white-shoe law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, is to be the new chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, which oversees Wall Street. Is that draining the swamp or putting the fox in charge of the henhouse? [more...]

Lessons Not Learned in 2016

Democrats learned nothing from 2016. America, lifelong union Democrats, 8% more of the black community, more of the Asian and Hispanic communities, and more women didn’t want their same-old ways of doing business. They’ve missed the lesson or don’t have the mental aptitude to understand it. Either way, America now wins.  BUT only if you engage, get involved, go to your local school boards, water boards, city councils and be heard. [more...]

8 Years Under Our First Muslim President

Remember when President Bill Clinton was called “America’s first black president”? Obviously, it wasn’t because he was black. But Clinton had an affinity for black people, and his actions were beneficial to blacks (or so they thought). Hence the branding as “America’s first black president.” The tag stuck. Well, don’t look now, but I believe Obama has earned the right to be called “America’s first Muslim president.” What would you call a president who betrays Israel in his last days in office, by abstaining from a United Nations vote criticizing Israel, an action no president in the history of America has ever allowed to happen? What would you call a president who might have secretly orchestrated the U.N. vote to embarrass Israel? Don’t look now, but Israel says they have proof that the entire U.N. vote condemning Israel was orchestrated by Obama. What would you call a president who refused to ever say the words “Islamic terror” in eight years in office, for fear he might offend Muslims? [more...]

The Rewriting of Obama’s Legacy

In an apparent effort to emulate President-elect Donald Trump’s social media mastery, President Obama began the New Year by giving his Twitter followers a revisionist history lesson. The “Me Too” outgoing president posted a series of tweets that were supposed to tout his two-term accomplishments. “As we look ahead to the future, I wanted to take a moment to look back on the remarkable progress that you made possible these past 8 years,” Obama tweeted. The president shared information from his brag book about his supposed job creation, health care triumphs, and super hero environmental status. [more...]

Proud to Be Conservative

It’s time to be proud that we are conservatives, living in America - the greatest nation on the face of the earth. With the constant onslaught of attacks made by the progressives, the socialists, the anarchists, the ultra-left, and their comrades in the OLD Main Stream Media (OMSM), in far left Hollywood, and in the ivory towers in universities, many conservatives have chosen to sit still and be quiet. Often, they have self-censored their views; they have shut off their opinions, hidden their true values, and kept quiet rather than facing what they saw as the inevitable conflict they might have to deal with. In the past, the ultra-left has dominated America with their far left, anti-American rhetoric. They have stifled conservatives at every turn and have tried to shut down all opposition to their failed theories, to their failed policies, and to their failed programs. But the old Obama-Clinton, anti-Constitutional era is over! [more...]

Progress on Free Trade Agreements Unlikely in First Half of 2017

I’ve noticed that journalists frequently portray potential Trump appointees as “pro-trade” who are therefore supposedly misaligned with the Trump-Pence agenda. I am annoyed that the journalists make such deceiving and simplistic statements. Americans are aware that Donald Trump opposed the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement. Political activists and Congresspeople are aware that opposition to the TPP was rooted in the trade agreement’s sovereignty giveaway, global courts, lack of resolution to currency manipulation problems, lowering of food & health safety standards, trade agreements’ history of job loss and trade deficits, human rights abuses on the part of TPP partner countries, and more.
