The Left’s Misleading Claim of Racism in Law Enforcement

In August, the FBI Counterterrorism Division produced a report entitled “Black Identity Extremists (BIE) Likely Motivated to Target Law Enforcement Officers.” The report states that Black Identity Extremists are killing law enforcement officers and warns there is a high likelihood they will continue to do so. The left takes issue with the report and continues to mislead the public. One would think Americans, regardless of race, color, creed or political persuasion would stand forcefully against the unlawful killing of anyone, particularly the assassination of law enforcement officers. However, the usual suspects like The Washington Post, ACLU and Black Lives Matter don’t address that issue because it’s contained in a report that doesn’t reflect the liberal narrative that U.S. law enforcement is infected by systemic racism. They are quick to renounce violence by extremists on the right but they don’t want you to know about the extremists on the left. Indictments Tainted by Conflicts of Interest and Media Leaks

Robert Mueller recently received some sharp criticism for his role in conducting an investigation into purported Russian collusion. However, the disapproval of the special counsel seems to have come from an unexpected source. The Wall Street Journal, which is known to be unfriendly to President Trump, called on Mueller to resign. The Journal opined, “The Fusion news means the FBI’s role in Russia’s election interference must now be investigated - even as the FBI and Justice insist that Mr. Mueller’s probe prevents them from cooperating with Congressional investigators.” [more...]

China is Winning the “Opium War” behind America’s “New Stoned Age”

Last week, President Trump declared a “public health emergency” over the worst drug epidemic in American history. In 2015, 92 million Americans – 38 percent of the U.S. population – were prescribed opioids. As users craving heavier doses turn to the criminal black market, illicit Chinese dealers have been supplying Fentanyl and its precursor exports to the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Fentanyl, which users often mix with heroin, Vicodin or Percocet, is a synthetic opiate roughly 100 times more potent than morphine, reports Science. For China, which officially outlaws such drugs and would execute dope pushers selling them to its citizens, opioid exports are a win-win-win situation. They make money for China, weaken the U.S. by drugging our people and damaging our economy, and provide revenge for the opium wars of the 19th century. [more...]

Trump is Winning

Trump promised we’d win and win so much, we’d get sick of winning. Well, no one is sick of winning, but Trump was right. We are winning everything. IBM Offshores to India and Business Still Shrinks

Technology giant IBM reported its third quarter results on Oct. 17th, and extended a stunningly long losing streak with its 22nd consecutive quarter of declining sales.  In four years, quarterly revenue has dropped 18%. As they say on Twitter: Sad! The problems at the computer giant are due mostly to the transition in the corporate world from onsite facilities to cloud computing - in other words, shifting their computing needs to centralized operators like Amazon Web Services. IBM is a laggard in that business. However, in another area of the U.S. technology business, IBM is the world leader. That area is shifting jobs to India. [more...]

The Corruption Iceberg is Melting

“Opposition research” means different things depending on who is using it. Paying for information from your campaign against the other guy... legal. The party you are running with paying for information against the other guy... also legal. Spending 15 or 20 minutes meeting with a Russian to find out if they have anything on the other guy... also legal, unless you ask a Democrat about a Republican doing it, then it’s an impeachable offense. When Democrats do all of that and more, when they actually fly to Russia, when close personal connections of the candidate go out of their way to ask to get the Russians to help them and then go out of their way not to report that they have paid a “certain” organization on their federal reporting forms, Dems tell us it’s completely legal. But it’s not... it’s illegal! [more...]

Black Monday 2017

Black Monday is known historically for the famous October stock market crash in 1987 in which nearly 25% of the market value dropped in one day... as well as being infamous for the original stock market crash on October 28th, 1929. Black Monday, usually in late October, is associated with ominous events, turbulence, and calamities. This month is the 30th anniversary of 1987’s Black Monday disaster. Will Washington experience its own turbulent Black Monday?

I think all the pieces are now in place for an unprecedented political crisis in Washington. In the short run, I’m concerned that many Americans will fear for the nation’s good health. In the long term, I believe America will survive and thrive past Black Monday in Washington 2017. However, I think our long-term outlook is still rock solid, optimistic, and good. [Read more on the Trump-Russian Collusion Investigation; the Clinton-DNC Trump dossier and more...]

The Clinton Era of Power Politics is Over

The Clinton era is indeed over. You can mark it down on your calendar. The Bill and Hillary Clinton era of power politics dominating and controlling the Democratic Party, and a seemingly endless list of questionable activities is over. Why do we make this conclusion? Recent news reports seem to politically damage Bill and Hillary Clinton and others associated with them in ways that will be difficult from which to recover. It is possible that laws have been broken. It is also unlikely that Hillary Clinton’s problems can be overcome in time for another run for the White House in 2020. In addition, it is now possible that members of the Left no longer intend to support Hillary Clinton and no longer will continue to protect her. Let’s look at some of the recent news stories that appear to have further damaged the reputations of the Clintons. [more...]

How Obama Use Hillary’s Dossier to Spy on Trump

How do you legally spy on your political opponents? At some point in time that question was asked in the White House, at the DNC or in the hotel suites where Hillary and her staff were staying during her speaking tours. It wasn’t exactly asked that way. But it was asked. And now we know more of the answer. What Hillary and Obama did wasn’t Watergate. That was amateur hour. Its sophistication is a tribute to the left’s deep knowledge and control of the workings of Washington, D.C. The men and women who planned this and carried it out understood not only government, but had an intimate familiarity with the loopholes in the laws and the networks of contacts that could realize their highly illegal plans. [more...]

The New York Times' Continuing Romance with an Evil Ideology

To mark the centenary of the Bolshevik Revolution, The New York Times has been running a series called “Red Century.” In the spirit of its Pulitzer-Prize-winning Moscow correspondent and uber fellow-traveler in the thirties, Walter Duranty, the articles in the main are an exercise in rehabilitation rather than historical evaluation. Given communism’s historically unprecedented and copiously documented record of slaughter, torture, mass imprisonment, brutal occupation, and utter failure to achieve its workers’ paradise of justice and equality, the question why the Times would attempt to mitigate the evil of a totalitarian ideology that led to 100 million dead cries out for an answer. While his poll numbers reach all-time lows, Presidents G.W. Bush and Obama decry the tone of this administration while the Trump team furiously fights back with diversions and distractions. Meanwhile, Special Counsel Robert Mueller inexorably marches toward a final decision. How long can this status quo last? Can the GOP survive? Can Trump survive? [more...]

Trump Should Avoid “Strong” Dollar Fed Reserve Nominees

The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) sent a letter to President Trump urging that he ensures that any Federal Reserve nominee favors a competitively priced dollar rather than a “strong” dollar: “Past federal government support for a ‘strong’ U.S. dollar has made our exports too expensive and foreign imports too cheap. President Trump rightfully aims to reduce or eliminate the U.S. trade deficit. We want to alert him to the fact that a pro-‘strong’ dollar stance by the Federal Reserve is unwarranted and will frustrate the administration’s trade deficit reduction efforts.” [more...]

Trump Administration Rattles the North American Cage on NAFTA

Three rounds of North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) negotiations came and went without much fanfare. But the fourth round, held in early October, included strong Trump administration proposals which start to fulfill promises to get tough on trade.  Mexico and Canada complained about the proposals. The NAFTA negotiations are now looming as the arena for a major international showdown. Predictably, multinational corporations are howling with rage and fear, worried that they may lose important weapons in their perennial battle to reduce their U.S. costs by shipping jobs overseas and forcing U.S. workers to compete with low-paid foreign workers.  Meanwhile, President Trump has let the media know that he would not be adverse to walking away from the NAFTA agreement if his negotiators can’t bring him a good enough deal. Did U.S. Troops Die in Niger Protecting French and Chinese Uranium?

America was surprised when U.S. troops in Niger were ambushed and four were killed on October 4. Why are more than 1,000 U.S. soldiers in this desolate region of Western Africa, and in one of the world’s least developed nations? According to Defense Secretary James Mattis, America’s mission there is “supporting the French-led and the African troops in the campaign to throw ISIS and the terrorists, the radicals, those who foment instability and murder and mayhem, off their stride.” He speaks truth – but not the whole truth. Clinton/Obama Collusion and Uranium Deal

Investigative reporting by John Solomon at The Hill and Sara Carter at Circa have uncovered a sordid tale worthy of the best Hollywood screenwriters; a saga involving blackmail, corruption, and bribery conducted by the mainstream media’s favorite scoundrels, the Russians. Details have emerged of a story involving a multi-year investigation, conducted by the FBI, into criminality and money laundering emanating from Russian entities. The Russian entities were attempting to strengthen Russia’s nuclear weaponry by obtaining access to U.S. uranium. The FBI investigation took place when the Obama administration was in power. Mandalay Bay Security Guard Being Kept Out of the Spotlight

Perhaps MGM has been honest and upfront and is merely the victim of a terrible event perpetrated by a madman. None of that matters now. Because of things like the changing timeline, everyone is asking questions. The way MGM is handling this case looks and smells bad. The questions and suspicions exploded when MGM security guard Jesus Campos “disappeared” minutes before interviews with Sean Hannity and other serious media (professionals bound to ask serious questions). But it turns out he didn’t “disappear” at all. Apparently, MGM just didn’t want Campos being asked tough questions. [more...]

Will the Republican Party Split in Two?

It’s becoming increasingly likely that there will be a Republican Party split into two separate parties in 2018 or 2019. The difference between conservative Republicans and establishment Republicans are becoming more intractable and more profound. The conservative wing of the party seems frustrated, unable to push through the reforms most Republicans have campaigned on over the last decade or so. Also, the establishment Republicans align more closely with the old Democrat establishment causing a lot of frustration. Gridlock seems the normal way in Washington despite the fact that one party ostensibly controls The White House and both the House and Senate. [more...]

Lighthizer Confronts “The Swamp”

We have never seen this before. The U.S. Trade Representative, Robert Lighthizer, is being brutally direct with free trade zombies in Congress and the multinational import lobby - “the swamp” - in charting a new pro-American direction on trade. Voters sought a change in trade policy when electing President Trump, but Congress has not changed. Neither have the special interests. Lighthizer faced a conundrum: he had to choose. The unspoken rule in the Washington swamp is that anybody talking about trade must say phrases like “grow export opportunities,” “increase two-way trade,” and “lower tariff barriers.” This shows that you are part of the club. Everybody nods and agrees. It is the conventional wisdom - these things must simply be true and good because everybody says them. The swamp aggressively enforces its dogma; heretics who refuse to follow their data-free theology are dismissed, attacked, ignored, or heckled. [more...]

Hooray for Hollywood - Celebrating Sexual Deviants for Decades

I was thinking on how over the last few weeks, the Hollywood’s true colors are showing. Then I quickly slapped myself back into reality. Hollywood’s colors have been showing for years, but the progressive, self-righteous Hollywoodites would have you believe it’s just a few disgruntled wannabees who are whining. NOT! As the weeks have gone on, it’s dawned on many of us that the Socialist Progressive Democrats run Hollywood. The Hollywood elites are always having $50 thousand per plate dinners while lecturing us about how much they care for the poor and downtrodden. [more...]

The Secret Methods of Progressive Politics

Most people do not know that Barack Obama had a kind of "Office of Thought Control" and team of mind manipulation experts in his White House.  And most know nothing of the sinister techniques Mr. Obama and his Progressive comrades used, and continue to use, to sway us. This is how Progressive politics now works, and it has shocking similarities to Aldous Huxley's dystopian novel of a "benign" but brain-drugged totalitarian future, Brave New World. [more...]

The Fake News Genocide Falls Apart

The Mayor of San Juan recently took a break from her tour of every cable news network on the planet to text an accusation of genocide aimed at President Trump. "WE WILL NOT BE LEFT TO DIE,” Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz texted. “I ask the United Nations, UNICEF and the world to stand with the people of Puerto Rico and stop the genocide.” The death toll in Puerto Rico currently stands at 48. Hurricane Maria made landfall in Puerto Rico on September 20. As we approach October 20, the death toll from the hurricane is a lot less than the death toll from the deadliest month in Chicago. [more...]

More Questions than Answers in the Las Vegas Shooting

So far, the FBI and Clark County Sheriff’s office have offered three or more timelines, none of which makes sense. There are many questions being asked and little information that has been provided in response to them. The security guard who was shot during the attack now supposedly has a gag order and missed several television interviews. Another anomaly: around 2015, the story goes, Stephen Paddock won $5 million gambling. For anyone who’s ever been to a casino, unless you’re betting tens of thousands per hand, or hit a mega jackpot, this is virtually impossible. Paddock was a middling gambler, betting $100 per video poker hand. He was quick and could do 200 hands per hour. While he was good at math, in the long haul all he could succeed in doing was losing money (about $200 per hour). It’s quite clear this income had to have come from a source other than video poker payouts. But where? [more...]

Mandalay Bay a “Gun-Free” Zone?

MGM CEO Jim Murren was appointed by Barack Obama to the Homeland Security Council. From that perch, Murren had insider access to the detailed threats aimed at Vegas. What did he do to prepare and adequately safeguard his guests? Several MGM security guards and ex-security guards have called my radio show in recent days. They described MGM’s security as “woefully undertrained and understaffed.” One ex-MGM security guard called to say Murren’s first act in taking over Luxor and Mandalay Bay was to disarm most of the guards and declare MGM hotels “gun-free” zones. Maybe that’s why the shooter chose Mandalay Bay. [more...]

Harvey Weinstein’s Growing Legal Quagmire

The disgraced movie mogul is facing a mounting pile of legal troubles swarming at him from every conceivable direction. More than 20 women have voiced allegations against Weinstein - claims of which include harassment, groping, forced sexual relations, and even rape. The alleged incidents took place over many decades in numerous locales. Most of the alleged victims would not be in a position to sue Weinstein in a civil court, due to the relatively short statutes of limitations governing the former mogul’s alleged torts. However, Weinstein’s legal problems in the civil arena are just the beginning of an expanding legal vortex. He now finds his alleged actions are the subject of investigations by the FBI as well as the New York and London police, while Los Angeles law enforcement is looking into launching a probe of its own. The New Trump-McConnell Friendship

A new Trump-McConnell friendship was highlighted in the Rose Garden on Monday. It was a surprise few expected. Clearly, Trump made a big impact on McConnell and energized him. Trump’s tweets and jawboning got to McConnell. The swamp is literally getting a case of vertigo from the swift pace of Trump’s recent actions to overturn the dismal legacy of Obama. The actions on subsidies for health insurance companies and the right for small businesses to create cost-cutting associations to bring down healthcare premiums were part of it.  Trump’s action on the disastrous Iran nuclear deal to not certify Iranian compliance and to push the ball back into Congress for a sanction decision within 60 days added further to the momentum and pressure on McConnell. Firms that have had direct and indirect dealings with Kobe Steel are now looking at the products they manufacture to see if they will have to pull back anything they produce. This includes major car manufactures like Toyota, GM, Mozda, and Honda as well as Boeing, the world’s largest manufacturer of passenger jets. [more...]

FBI Says Black Identity Extremists Murder Cops

We all condemn illegal use of force against blacks and we should all condemn any violence against police officers regardless of the race of the perpetrator. American Seapower Still in Decline

Has the U.S. Navy reached its breaking point? In Seablindness: How Political Neglect is Choking American Seapower and What to Do About It, Fmr. Deputy Undersecretary of the U.S. Navy Seth Cropsey exposes how years of underfunding has left our nation’s most strategic arm of defense - American naval power - smaller today than any point since before World War I.

The demands for American seapower have increased since the Cold War’s end and yet the U.S. has continued to cut its seapower.  Shrinking defense budgets have left the Navy and Marines scrambling to meet the nation’s combatant commanders’ requirements for naval and amphibious forces.  Faced with a growing demand for forces and a diminishing ability to pay for them America’s sea services have looked for ways to save money: keep ships at sea longer, increase sailors’ and Marines’ workload, cut orders for ships, cancel the purchase of ships that would modernize the fleet, and postpone maintenance of critical shore facilities (the Government Accountability Office reported in September that delayed maintenance and restoration for shipyards that service the Navy’s nuclear-powered fleet have increased by 41 percent in the past five years and will cost an additional $4.8 billion dollars over the next two decades). This slide did not take place overnight. [more...]

Dems Laundering Weinstein’s Money

Harvey Weinstein is a movie producer, but in Hollywood-on-the-Potomac, he has long been a major star funder of the Democratic Party.  Since 2000, he has donated almost $900,000 in cash to its left-liberal candidates, and he has bundled more than another $1.4 million from others for what liberal Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank calls this "socialist" party. The Democratic National Committee and many of its comrades are profoundly embarrassed, vowing to give at least a portion of Weinstein's now tainted money to others. Typical of these promised new recipients is EMILY's List. Emily in this case is not a woman's name, but an acronym for "Early Money Is Like Yeast."  It boosts the campaigns of leftist feminists with injections of early money. But is the Democratic Party truly expiating its sins? [more...]

Gun Control - Another Progressive Power Grab

We all know the worn-out ideas that the progressives predictably trot out after every massacre. And we know they are fallacious. More guns do not lead to more gun murder. Between 1993 and 2013, private gun ownership increased 56%, and gun homicides declined 49%. No, the point is not that more guns account for the declines - a straw-man correlation the media burns down to discredit this fact. The point is, the left’s call for more gun control after every mass shooting implies that fewer guns or more regulations would decrease murder rates. Not only is that idea false, the opposite is true: higher murder rates invariably follow more gun control. [more...]

Hillary, Michelle Obama and Planned Parenthood’s Wonderful Friend

Everyone knew Harvey Weinstein was a bad guy. The bloated, greasy movie mogul slimed his way through countless ballrooms, suites and restaurants trailing lies, threats and promises. But he had the right politics. At the 100th anniversary of Planned Parenthood, honoring the recently defeated candidate Hillary Clinton, drinks named “Toxic Masculinity” were being served. Also on the scene was Harvey Weinstein. And Harvey had his thick wallet open to the tune of $100K for the abortion organization. Harvey was sitting with Hillary... not to mention Meryl Streep and Shonda Rimes. [more...]

Did Someone Make a Fortune on the Vegas Attack?

I’ve argued since the first moments of the Vegas mass murder event that the killer had help... that someone funded, coordinated and planned the attack... and that it had all the hallmarks of a ISIS attack. That doesn’t mean it was. It just means it looks and smelled like one to me. Soon after, ISIS took credit not once, not twice, but three times. ISIS claimed the killer Stephen Paddock converted to Islam... and they even gave him an Islamic name. But here is the most compelling piece of information yet. It appears someone or some group made a fortune betting in advance on the Vegas mass murder. [more...]

Harvey Weinstein - Hollywood’s Open Secret

With the prospect of more sordid details yet to come, the Hollywood left and its favorite political party are feeling the heat. For his part, Weinstein appears to be of the mindset that he can resurrect his image by simply demonstrating his unwavering adherence to the tenets of liberalism. Despite his stature as a movie executive, bought-and-paid-for connections with numerous politicians, and sizable crisis management machine, Weinstein’s effort to be granted the same latitude as Woody Allen or Roman Polanski does not appear to be working. The tactical failure may be occurring, in part, because Weinstein’s alleged sexual abuse has a number of high-profile celebrity victims. [more...]

The Democrat Tax Plan - Dishonest Secret Taxes

Now Amazon Wants to Deal Drugs

Analysts have been speculating recently that Amazon’s next big move would be pharmaceuticals. A report from Leerink, a boutique investment firm specializing in the health care business, said that Amazon will certainly enter the prescription drug distribution sector in the coming years. Following the report, stock prices for Walgreens and CVS, the major market shareholders in prescription drug dispensing, fell by nearly 5%. The drop continued into Monday as both fell an additional 3%. If Amazon did choose to enter this sector, it would prove to be a considerable threat to its competitors. This has been seen before, most recently with Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods. Amazon has made great strides so far in the short time since it entered the grocery business and this could be the same for pharmaceuticals. [more...]

Trump Puts Another Nail in the MSM’s Coffin with NFL’s Help

There’s no disputing that the dying mainstream media is Trump’s sworn enemy. Therefore, it seems reasonable that Trump will go to any extent necessary to vanquish this foe. Tweeting at daybreak, when most reporters are starting to come to grips with the day’s hangover, or trolling them with deliberate minor factual misstatements, which throws them into a frenzy, he never lets up. Trump is this war’s aggressor and he’s totally gotten into their decision loop. Fast forward to sports now being an accepted avenue of social protest/justice. A perfect venue for the nation’s CEO to insert himself and to watch the ensuing carnage spew forth. [more...]

Don’t Glorify the Shooter, Pray for the Victims

The media chooses to dramatize events, like the Las Vegas shootings, showing the shooters face, giving this monster’s 24/7 coverage, and making the body count the lead story. All of these actions by news teams fuel the fire and can end up making the shooter a hero, in their sick mind, which can lead to more mass shootings.  Expert psychoanalysts who study these kinds of behaviors and tragic events have warned the media how to handle the news coverage following an event like this, but of course the media does not listen. Reporters should not glorify that this is the largest mass shooting ever, nor should they provide such details as to give criminals any inside information that they may use in future tragic situations.  Unfortunately, following an event like this, law enforcement expects copycats to respond with more mass shootings, and dramatized media coverage can amplify the reaction of other lone gunmen who want to make a name for themselves by causing terror and destruction. Taxing Our Patience - Business Taxes are Hidden Taxes on You

Gary Cohn, the director of President Donald Trump’s White House Economic Council says that he “can’t guarantee” that taxes will not go up for many in the middle class. The lowest marginal tax rate is to rise from 10 to 12 percent... but at what income amount this rate leaps to 25 and 35 percent has not been announced. The New York Times, The Atlantic and other liberal media are already quoting a study by “the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center” that claims the Republican plan would give huge tax breaks to the rich, increase the deficit by $2.4 trillion or more over 10 years, provide only crumbs to the working class, and over time greatly increase taxes on the middle and upper-middle classes. Democrat Collusion
