The Passover Massacre and Anti-Semitism in America
By Daniel Greenfield

A neo-Nazi wannabe killer came to a synagogue in a small California city with a rifle and big dreams of killing Jews. The quiet city where the gunman opened fire is over 2,700 miles away from the headquarters of the New York Times and Politico, but anti-Semitic conspiracy theories have a ubiquitous appeal for socialist fanatics, whether their role model is Adolf Hitler or Joseph Stalin. The killer's manifesto had expressed hatred not just for Jews, but for Trump as, “Zionist, Jew-loving.” Those were the same sentiments featured in an anti-Semitic cartoon in the New York Times of President Trump wearing a Jewish skullcap and being led around by a long-nosed dog with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s face in another convergence of alt-left and alt-right anti-Semitism. To Politico and to the gunman, a small synagogue in a small city was an outpost of the hidden empire of the Jewish conspiracy. To the alt-left media, a Chabad Rabbi might be the hidden link between Republicans and Moscow. To alt-righters like the gunman, it was a chain in a conspiracy of usury and war. To the New York Times, Politico and the Neo-Nazi killer, President Trump was just a dupe of the Jews. [more...]

The U.S. is the World Leader in 5G, but...
By Jeff Ferry

There is widespread concern in the U.S., ranging from cable TV shows right up to the White House, that the U.S. is losing the race for 5G wireless networks. The concern is right, but the analysis is wrong.  The U.S. is the world leader in 5G networks. We are missing just one piece: the systems integrator. A careful examination of the industry shows how strong our leadership is, and that it would not be hard for the U.S. to provide that one missing piece. Most people have little idea of what goes into a modern Internet network. Essentially, it consists of wireless transmitters and receivers in the cellphone, in a radio base station, larger devices at the base station to aggregate signals from hundreds or thousands of phones, and then devices to send those signals on an underground fiber-optic network back into the Internet. We must build out our own. It’s the supply chain, stupid! [more...]

Biden as Presidential Candidate
By Lowell Ponte

Obama chose Biden as his vice president "for being a dim-bulb lifelong government officeholder who seldom offended because he rarely did anything... a time-tested token white 'step-n-fetchit' without charisma or ideas..." Now that Biden seeks the presidency, Barack Obama refuses to endorse him. Biden desperately needs an exciting leftist vice presidential running mate to balance his ticket. He "needs to pick a running mate (Michelle Obama?) who enthuses the left without being seen as a radical one heartbeat from the presidency. Biden cannot win with an uncharismatic leftist VP, but to pick someone who shines brighter than he does risks becoming John McCain to a charismatic Sarah Palin. [more...]

Trump Weathers the Democrat Subpoena Storm
By James Hirsen

President Donald Trump is experienced in the art of litigation. As a successful real estate entrepreneur, he was able to acquire the skills necessary to maneuver the legal playing field in the rough and tumble Manhattan marketplace. The president has now made a strategic decision to litigate rather than comply with the attempt by Democrats to use their oversight powers to keep a discredited narrative alive. Recently, a significant change took place in the legal approach that the Trump White House adopted... [more...]

Omar Raises Money for Hamas
By David Horowitz

Somalian-American Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is a terrorist. Terror is violence to further a political end and every terrorist organization has political helpers. The IRA had Sinn Fein, which was the political party. Ilhan Omar is raising money for Hamas. The Democratic Party, since the end of the Second World War, has been a party that's favored our enemies. That's just a fact. My new book, Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America exposes the growing persecution of Christians around the world and in the U.S. [more...]

Should You Buy Qualcomm Stock after its Big Rally?
By Crista Huff

Poor Qualcomm. Years of ongoing turmoil made Qualcomm (QCOM) the poster child for a feature role in The Book of Job or a country song lamenting the loss of all good things in life. In 2017, Broadcom (AVGO) announced plans to acquire Qualcomm and the stock quickly rose 30%, only to lose all those gains in early 2018 when the U.S. government failed to approve the merger. What typically happens after a stock surges like QCOM just did is that the stock will then pull back and rest before continuing a run-up. I would try to buy Qualcomm stock on a pullback to the low/mid-70s, but there’s no reason that a person with a multi-year investment horizon couldn’t profit from buying QCOM today. [more...]

6 Dem Senators Sell out Jewish Terror Victims to Restore Cash to Islamic Terrorists
By Daniel Greenfield

In 2002, Shmuel Waldman, an American from New Jersey, was shot while boarding a bus in Israel. The terrorist attack killed 2 people and left 40 injured. Among that 40 was Shmuel whose leg was blown apart, forcing him to undergo multiple surgical procedures, and leaving him suffering from PTSD. The terrorist who shot him was Said Ramadan, a “police officer” working for the terrorists who run the Palestinian Authority. The attack had been planned by senior Palestinian Authority officials and the Palestinian Authority viewed Ramadan as a hero. Waldman joined other victims of terrorism in a lawsuit against the terrorist group, which is funded by American taxpayers, under the Antiterrorism Act. [more...]

Pick Your Poison on Dems' Health Care Ideas
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

More than 100 House Democrats have signed onto a new bill from Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal that would outlaw private insurance and force everyone into a government-run health plan. Some other Democrats are leery of Jayapal's bid for "Medicare for All." So, they've rolled out more "moderate" measures that would expand the existing Medicare program. Don't be fooled. Whether branded as Medicare for All or Medicare for More, the Democrats' health reform plans would yield the same thing — a government takeover of the American health care system. [more...]

Sri Lanka Leftist Fallout
By Christine Douglass-Williams

Australia’s “divisive rightwing senator” Fraser Anning has sparked controversy once again after blaming the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka on ‘Islamic populations creating violence’... The tweets mark the second time the politician has used a terror attack to comment on Islamic immigration, following similar statements made after the Christchurch mosque attacks last month. The Islamic jihad is very real and expansionary. The West is indeed engaged in a global defense against jihad forces and has not helped itself in this war by adopting policies of open-door immigration. [more...]

Obama Persecuted Christians
By David Horowitz

My new book, Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America exposes the growing persecution of Christians around the world and in the U.S. Former President Obama held a persecution campaign of Christians in the United States during his time in office. If you'll remember, Osama bin Laden, when he declared war on us, the war was declared against the land of the Jews and the Crusaders - the Crusaders being Christians. The Islamists enabled [him] in destroying the oldest Christian community in the world, in Iraq, by Barack Obama, who in his presidency domestically in America, carried on a campaign against Christians. What Kind of "Diversity" Will Accompany the Rebuilding of Notre Dame?
By Lowell Ponte

Easter Week saw the 850-year-old Notre Dame cathedral in Paris partly consumed by flames, which may or may not have been ignited by anti-Christian terrorists. With French President Macron pledging to rebuild Notre Dame within five years, and with donors quickly pledging more than a billion dollars for its restoration, another question has arisen. Will political forces demand that this church built by Christian Roman Catholic faithful be rebuilt today to reflect modern political correctness by including other religions and beliefs? The pressure to do so would demand equal space inside not only for Protestant and Orthodox Christian beliefs, but also a place for France’s fast-growing Muslim population. [more...]

In the Aftermath of the Mueller Report, the Dems are Deeply Divided
By James Hirsen

It turns out that the total deconstruction of the Trump/Russia narrative has actually harmed the Democrats, serving to deeply divide its members over the question of whether to pursue impeachment, which is a major priority for its activist left-wing base. Political leaders in both parties are aware that if the House of Representatives were to hypothetically impeach the president, the Constitution requires a trial in the Senate, whereby a two-thirds majority would need to be secured in order to remove the president from office. Of course, this scenario is highly unlikely, since the GOP holds a 53-47 majority in that chamber. [more...]

The Leftists' Notion of Consent
By Karen Kataline

Leftists are curious creatures. Their tangents exist in vacuums. Take for example, their current tangent about consent as it relates to sex and male/female relationships. There’s no greater contradiction being played out on the national stage than the Leftist notion of consent.  They lecture us about it in one breath but are currently working diligently to force a host of policies on states with Democrat majorities in the next. There is an urgent need for Constitutional Conservatives to take the lead for once and use popular culture to teach one of the most fundamental concepts on which America was founded: The Consent of the Governed. [more...]

Young Ahmadis Teach in the Streets that Islam is a Religion of Peace
By Christine Douglass-Williams

A group of young British men training to be imams are trying to dispel negative perceptions about Islam. This group belongs to the Ahmadiyya community. Negative “perceptions” about Islam are based on cold, hard facts that it is prudent to not ignore. The Ahmadiyya sect, however, is peaceful; but unfortunately, it only makes up one to two percent of Muslims worldwide. Also unfortunate is the fact that Ahmadis try to convince Westerners that Islam is a religion of peace while normative Islam is clearly not peaceful. They take advantage of Western ignorance about Islam. What’s more, Ahmadis are persecuted by mainstream Muslims who do not recognize them as Muslims at all, and their persecutors are merely following the Quran and Sunnah. They need to acknowledge this; they do not. [more...]

February Trade Deficit Improves 3.4% as China Deficit Hits Best Level in 23 Months
By Jeff Ferry

The U.S. trade deficit in goods and services for February was $49.4 billion, an improvement of 3.4 percent over the January figure of $51.1 billion, providing more evidence that tariffs are reducing the U.S. deficit. That’s according to figures published by the Department of Commerce. Equally significant, our goods deficit with China came in at $24.8 billion, nearly $10 billion or 28.1 percent better than January’s $34.5 billion, and our best monthly China deficit figure since March 2017. The China deficit in February tends to be smaller due to the Chinese New Year holiday, but the figures still provide evidence that tariffs are reducing our imports from China. [more...]

Horowitz: Sri Lanka is Happening in America

David Horowitz is the author of the new bestseller Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America. His new book exposes the growing persecution of Christians, including the rise in violent acts, here in the U.S.

The Easter massacre of Christians by radical Muslim jihadists in Sri Lanka is but the bloody tip of a genocidal crusade which has taken the lives of hundreds of thousands of Christian innocents since 9/11.

In Iraq, massacres by the most violent and extreme Islamics have wiped out the oldest Christian community in the world, driving the survivors of the attacks into exile. The Christian temple in Mosul had featured Sunday sermons continuously since the time of St. Paul. It is silent now.

President Barack Obama, who never missed an opportunity to lecture Christians about their alleged sins and mistreatments against Muslims, didn’t lift a finger to stop this genocide. [more...]

Dr. Jerome Corsi NOT Named in Mueller Report

Following the redacted, public release of the Mueller Investigations final report on Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election, suspected Roger Stone accomplice Dr. Jerome Corsis name was nowhere to be found.

Dr. Corsi was pulled into the Mueller investigation in the Fall of last year regarding his alleged involvement with Julian Assange. Muellers team believed that Dr. Corsi had served as an intermediary between Trump advisor Roger Stone and Assange in the release of 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign chair John Podestas e-mails, a charge Dr. Corsi denied.

Charges against Dr. Corsi were eventually dropped due to an overwhelming lack of evidence, but Dr. Corsi is still fighting back after his privacy was compromised as he was subjected to over 40 hours of interrogation. This final report effectively exonerates Dr. Corsi from any alleged wrongdoing, which Dr. Corsi had claimed from the very beginning.

Dr. Corsi details his experience with Muellers prosecutors in his new book Silent No More: How I Became a Political Prisoner of Mueller’s “Witch Hunt.”

Papadopoulos: The Russia Probe Started with the Spies Who Marked Me

With today's release of the highly anticipated Mueller Report, I'd like to say the attorney general should question the three men known to have snooped on the Trump campaign.

‘I think spying did occur,” Attorney General William P. Barr told a Senate subcommittee last Wednesday. He was speaking about the FBI’s probe into possible coordination between Russia and the Trump campaign, as well as the resulting special-counsel investigation.

I can tell Mr. Barr what I know from experience. There’s nothing to “think” about. The spying happened, and it happened to me. The real question is why it happened. What drove U.S. intelligence organizations during the Obama administration to use unvetted information and inconclusive spy operations against the Republican nominee and his staff?

During my time as an adviser to the Trump campaign, federal intelligence and law-enforcement organizations used operatives to contact me in person and via e-mail on multiple occasions. Their goal? To discuss rumored coordination efforts with Russia and extract evidence of a collusion crime.

“Operative” is a euphemistic term for these men. "Spies" is a more fitting label. One is Stefan Halper, a professor at the University of Cambridge who runs intelligence seminars and has deep ties to the CIA. The Washington Post named him as the FBI informant who approached at least three members of the Trump campaign. Then there’s Alexander Downer, who had the lofty title of Australian high commissioner to the U.K. and was an adviser to the British private intelligence firm Hakluyt & Co. Finally, there’s Joseph Mifsud, who taught at Rome’s Link Campus University, where many faculty members have ties to intelligence agencies. [more...]

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: George Papadopoulos is a former adviser to President Trump and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. He became the first person to plead guilty in the Mueller Investigation when on October 5, 2017 he conceded that he had lied to the F.B.I. about a conversation with a professor during which he was told that Moscow had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton and “thousands of e-mails,” according to court records. Papadopoulos was sentenced to 14 days in jail, fined $9,500 and ordered to complete 200 hours of community service and one year of probation after serving his sentence.

Bernie Sanders Took His Terrible 'Medicare For All' Idea and Made it a Disaster
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

The Fox News townhall may have been entertaining, but 2020 candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders's updated "Medicare for all" plan is even more disastrous than its original 2017 iteration. The new bill is not all that different from the one he introduced two years ago. It would still force virtually every person to swap their current health plan (whether that's private insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid) for a single, one-size-fits-all, government-run plan. But he's made the plan even more generous and costly by promising to cover long-term care delivered in home and community settings. [more...]

Mapping San Francisco's Human Waste Challenge
By Adam Andrzejewski, Author of Operation Drain the Swamp

San Francisco is in trouble. Today, the city by the bay hosts an estimated homeless population of 7,500 people. Affluent sections of the city have become dangerous with open-air drug use, tens of thousands of discarded needles, and, sadly, human feces. Since 2011, there have been at least 118,352 reported instances of human fecal matter on city streets. New mayor, London Breed, won election by promising to clean things up. However, conditions are the same or worse. Last year, the number of reports spiked to an all-time high at 28,084. In first quarter 2019, the pace continued with 6,676 instances of human waste in the public way. [more...]

Should Senator Cory Booker Pay Slavery Reparations to Himself?
By Daniel Greenfield

He can write a check from the 45% of his European DNA to the 47% of his African DNA

Senator Cory Booker has promised to introduce a bill to study a proposal for slavery reparations. The bill will be a companion to a bill by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee who had once declared on the House floor, “I stand here as a freed slave.” Since Sheila also believed that there are two Vietnams, that the Constitution is 400 years old, and that Neil Armstrong planted a flag on Mars, that may have been metaphor or the addled understanding of a woman who confused Wikileaks and Wikipedia. Booker, who claims to care about the victims of sexual violence, might have been dissuaded from backing a bill introduced by a politician who was recently forced to resign from chairing the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation after firing a woman who was raped by one of her subordinates. But Senator Booker has never found a principle that he wouldn’t passionately embrace and betray. [more...]

Imposing Socialism on America - One State at a Time
By Karen Kataline

Some say the road to socialist hell is paved with good intentions. What it’s really paved with is bloated government, wealth redistribution and central planning. Leftists have taken control of the Democratic Party and some have begun to tell the truth about their socialist ideology. Unfortunately, they’re not just talking about it. With almost identical measures on a variety of issues and national backing, they are implementing their ideas in Democrat-controlled state legislatures around the country. That allows them to bypass Congress on the federal level and ignore the will of the voters on the local level. These tactics drive a truck through any semblance of local control. That’s central planning. [more...]

How Low Might Democrats Go?
By Lowell Ponte

With Democrats facing defeat in the 2020 elections, AOC and Pelosi have suddenly declared that Trump has put leftist anti-Semitic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's life at risk. Could Democrats be setting Omar up for martyrdom as a way to shift politics back in their favor? Given the violence of today's leftists' behavior, this seemingly-crazy possibility cannot be ruled out. Their coup against Trump has failed, but they attempted to use a phony document to oust the duly-elected President of the United States. Several leftists have even encouraged the assassination of President Trump. What else will Democrats do to regain control of the government? Their lust for power, and their willingness to use any means to get power, now seems unlimited. [more...]

The Motive of the Mueller Mayhem
By Karen Kataline

A redacted version of the Mueller report is due to be released this week. You’ll probably hear some conservative pundits say that the upper echelons of the FBI, the CIA, and the Justice Department attempted to frame, defame and ultimately unseat Donald Trump because they hated him so darned much. Perhaps it’s a distinction without a difference but I don’t think so. Trump’s enemies didn’t engage in felonious acts because they hated him. They hated him because they knew he would expose their corrupt and felonious acts. [more...]

Jerome Corsi: Julian Assange Has Information that Could Destroy the Russian Hoax

"This is another attack on journalism," Corsi said about Assange's arrest. "In 2013, the Obama Justice Department decided not to indict Julian Assange over the Chelsea Manning issues because they said it would be tantamount to indicting the New York Times of the Washington Post. As a journalist, Julian Assange has a right to publish even stolen materials. I would recommend to Julian Assange that he fight back just like I did," Corsi said. "Julian Assange can come back and prove the second shoe dropping, the double whammy. Robert Mueller says there was no Russian collusion..." [more...]

Why Does Rep. Omar's Life Matter More than Republicans?
By Daniel Greenfield

The same media outlets that have behaved as if Rep. Omar might be killed at any moment because she received a threatening phone call have showed very little interest in a potential anthrax or ricin attack on a senator. And the media, which helped whip up the hysteria over Kavanaugh and Collins, has accused President Trump of incitement for merely quoting Omar’s hateful words about 9/11. This wasn’t even the first fake ricin attack targeting Republican senators over Justice Kavanaugh. Two staffers working for Senator Ted Cruz were hospitalized after a package with a white powder was sent to his office in the fall of 2018. Around that same time, traces of ricin were detected on an envelope sent to the White House and addressed to President Trump. The media showed less interest in an attempt to assassinate the President of the United States than in a threatening call to Omar’s office. [more...]

Hollywood Writers Go to War with Talent Agents

Two Hollywood institutions, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and the Association of Talent Agents (ATA), are now in an all-out battle with one another. Consequently, the way in which business is conducted in the entertainment world may never be the same. A dispute between the two organizations arose over the 43-year-old Artists’ Managers Basic Agreement (AMBA), a pact between the WGA and the ATA, which regulates the terms of how agents represent writers. The WGA by-laws stipulate that an agency must sign the AMBA in order to represent one of its members. Jerome Corsi Responds to the Arrest of Julian Assange

Following the arrest of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange in London this morning, author and investigative reporter Dr. Jerome Corsi took to Facebook and Twitter to respond:

We're Calling for an Investigation into Chicago Rail Deal with China SOE

By Michael Stumo

CPA Seeks Review of Chicago Transit Authority Railcar Purchase
Contract with Chinese firm may flout Buy America Act

The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) has formally requested that the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) review the Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA’s) $1.3 billion contract with CSR Sifang, a company owned by the Chinese government. CTA’s purchase of 846 commuter railcars from CSR Sifang may not comply with the Buy America Act of 1982 and thus may be ineligible for federal funding.

“U.S. manufacturers are already struggling to compete against heavily subsidized production from companies owned by the Chinese government,” said CPA Chair Dan DiMicco. “Despite this, the City of Chicago has chosen to move ahead with a project that may not contain enough American-made content to meet Buy America requirements necessary for federal funding. This is particularly unfortunate for many manufacturers in the supply chain in the Chicago area.” [more...]

Four Important Reasons Stocks Fall
By Crista Huff

We all know that stock prices can fall, but if we can determine why they’re falling, then we can better understand whether to buy, sell or hold. Here are some common scenarios. A stock falls immediately upon delivering an earnings report; when the company announces good news; when the company announces temporary bad news; and a company announces significant bad news. Stock investing is a learned skill. It can be complicated and frustrating. It can also be lucrative, exciting, interesting and fun. Anybody can watch a stock go up 50% and pat themselves on the back; but the amount of wisdom you exhibit on the darker days will determine your long-term success. And knowing the reasons stocks fall is a big part of that.  [more...]

Smollett Gets Hit with a Lawsuit as Chicago Seeks Justice
By James Hirsen

Jussie Smollett may regret his failure to pay a bill sent to him courtesy of the City of Chicago. After an extensive investigative process, a demand for payment was sent to the alleged hate crime hoaxer in an effort by the city to obtain reimbursement for costs incurred due to Smollett’s claims. The letter gave the “Empire” actor seven days in which to pay an amount of approximately $130,000. Smollett is refusing to pay the city anything - not a single solitary penny. He continues to publicly claim that he has been “truthful and consistent on every single level since day one,” despite the fact that one of his lawyers has already fundamentally altered the facts of his claims. Smollett may be about to reap the whirlwind because of a civil lawsuit that the city of Chicago plans to file against him. [more...]

Overcoming the Democrat Matrix
By Lowell Ponte

Today’s young leftist utopians are hot-headed but cold-hearted, utterly bereft of human compassion, tolerance, fairness, feeling or the ability to laugh at one’s self. They seem either to be zombies or machines, ready only to hate, control, silence or kill anyone who disagrees with them. Many seem inhuman and insane. Nowhere is this more evident than in left-leaning social media such as Google, which just eliminated its A.I. ethics board after only one week. Like Facebook, Google wants to become The Matrix, controlling an artificial reality where leftist views are amplified while conservative voices are silenced. These Silicon Valley tyrants pretend that objective algorithms impose political correctness fairly – but biased humans write the algorithms, which Google and Facebook refuse to let outsiders analyze. Facebook was originally designed to act like an addictive drug on young minds. The leftists’ desire to be society’s “Dominatrix” is the essence of the Democrat Matrix, the dictatorship that red-pill-choosing humankind must overcome. [more...]

Democrats Will Keep Changing the Rules Until They Can Never Lose
By Karen Kataline

Democrats refuse to stop messing with our voter laws. Bernie Sanders just proposed that felons be allowed to vote even while they are still in prison. Democrats constantly push for these changes with a straight face, claiming that their newest-fangled scheme would make elections more “fair.” Sadly, some states have adopted a few of these voter schemes with Republican support. If Democrats were so confident that they could win or that the only reason they lose is because the election was stolen from them by Russian oligarchs or guys named “Chad,” why do they keep trying to change the rules of the game? The answer to this rhetorical question is that they are not confident. They know that underneath their divisive, identity politics, they have no ideas except socialism. Yet, some Republicans still behave like it is up to them to “reach across the aisle because their opponents have such good intentions. [more...]

From the Inside of the Mueller Probe
By Jerome Corsi

Robert Mueller’s probe crashed and burned in large part because the FBI and the prosecutors were convinced erroneously that I had personal contact with Julian Assange that permitted me to introduce Roger Stone to WikiLeaks. If I had introduced Mr. Stone to Julian Assange, the prosecutors believed, this introduction would have permitted Mr. Stone, who was in touch by telephone with then-candidate Donald Trump, “to collude” with WikiLeaks to time the release of Podesta e-mails in October 2016 so as to cause maximum damage to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. In my 40-hour ordeal, the prosecutors from the Office of the Special Counsel also made clear they believed the Trump campaign had convinced Russia to steal John Podesta’s e-mails and give them to WikiLeaks for publication. So, the hypothesis Mr. Mueller was trying to prove was that the “Russia collusion” link was Assange-Corsi-Stone-Trump - a linkage that I never caused to happen. [more...]

Reparations Shakedown

Indicting White Americans for 'America's Original Sin'
By David Horowitz

In 2008, the election of Barack Obama was universally hailed as an historic breakthrough event - the first African American presidency in American history. Great expectations were raised for what was then billed as the beginning of a new “post-racial era.” A decade later, these expectations have not been fulfilled, and, worse, have been frustrated by the spread of “identity politics” – the most tribalistic, color-conscious and divisive attitude to dominate the public square since the Civil Rights Acts of 1964 and 1965 outlawed discrimination on the basis of skin color.

An early sign of trouble in the new racial paradise was Obama’s designation of Al Sharpton - the nation’s second most notorious racial demagogue - as his “chief adviser” on race. As racial tensions in the nation’s streets intensified, this designation was fleshed out by over 80 Sharpton visits to the Oval Office - more than anyone else’s, by far. It was further reflected in the White House’s embrace of extremist groups like Black Lives Matter and in the not-so-subtle White House covers for violent attacks on local law enforcement.

With Obama’s exit from office in 2016, the fury and violence of Ferguson and other beleaguered cities have faded, but the spirit of racial division remains and flourishes in the menu of Democratic demands. It was most recently manifest in a new ritual as the 2020 roster of Democratic presidential hopefuls has made a pilgrimage to Sharpton’s National Action Network conference to kiss the kingmaker’s ring and sign on to his list of outrageous demands. Most prominent among these is reparations for slavery to be paid by people who were never slave owners to people who were never slaves... 154 years after the fact. [more...]

The College Admissions Tricksters

By Jeffrey Katz

On the college admissions scandal, stealing someone else’s opportunity in the way it was allegedly done is one of the worst acts imaginable. It is indeed the polar opposite of helping someone else help himself, the least selfish thing one can do, in helping another person become self-sufficient.

In my new book, The Secret Life: A Book of Wisdom, I write that Maimonides taught that we will succeed in life only when we are true to ourselves. While we should continually strive to become the noblest version of ourselves, we must never pretend to be someone else, or pretend to be a different person from who we are, or different from the person who we are sincerely striving to become.

The college admissions tricksters stole places from those who had earned those spots. The victims are not obscure: they are real people with real names and faces, and we know exactly who they are. They are the ones who were on admissions waiting lists at these elite schools but who never wound up getting in.

The tricksters, in pretending to be what they were not - namely, sports champions - were mocking the true sports heroes, the high school students who woke up at four o’clock every morning to train and become great athletes competing for the few open roster spots on the competitive athletic teams at these elite schools. These are the true champions who were denied their rightful spots due to the alleged scheme, and they are the second group of victims here who have paid a heavy price.

January U.S. Trade Deficit Improves by $8.8 Billion
By Michael Stumo

China goods trade deficit shrinks to 7-month low.

The drop in the China goods deficit was counterbalanced, in part, by rising trade debt with other trading partners. President Trump’s tariffs are necessary for national and economic security in relation to China’s predatory economic strategy. We absolutely need to guard against Beijing’s attempts to erode our economic, military, and geopolitical strength. However, a full America First trade and economic strategy must include adjusting the dollar exchange rate to a competitive price. Otherwise we will continue growing our trade deficit even as it may shift from China to other countries. [more...]

"Sanctuary Cities" Divide the Left from the Right
By Karen Kataline

The contrast in definitions between what the Left commonly refers to as “sanctuary cities” is particularly illustrative of the vast difference between the Left and the Right. So-called "sanctuaries cities" have been declared to defend the rights of citizens which are expressly guaranteed in the Constitution. Democrat “sanctuary cities” not only defy existing law, but put citizens in a greater position of having to defend themselves from criminal illegal aliens and civil unrest. Some Leftist politicians have actually incited and condoned such unrest. [more...]

Britain's Version of 'Medicare For All' is Struggling with Long Waits for Care
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

Nearly a quarter of a million British patients have been waiting more than six months to receive planned medical treatment from the National Health Service, according to a recent report from the Royal College of Surgeons. More than 36,000 have been in treatment queues for nine months or more. Long waits for care are endemic to government-run, single-payer systems like the NHS. Yet some U.S. lawmakers want to import that model from across the pond. That would be a massive blunder. [more...]

Ilhan Omar: “To Me, the Hijab Means Power, Liberation, Beauty, and Resistance"
By Robert Spencer

Vogue Arabia published a glowing puff piece fawning over Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has, said Vogue, “made history in her adopted country,” apparently while hating every minute of it. Life in Trump’s America, she said, is “an everyday assault;” she did not, however, say anything about moving back to that paradise of multiculturalism, her native Somalia. Instead, she is bringing it here, at least in one aspect of Sharia observance: “To me,” she said, “the hijab means power, liberation, beauty, and resistance.” What would the innumerable victims of the hijab say to that? [more...]

Glenn Beck on 'Dark Agenda:' Threat to Christians is Real

Glenn Beck is praising David Horowitz’s new book Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christianity in America. Horowitz was just on Beck’s national radio show and the top-rated host told his audience that “this is a very critical book,” warning Americans of the growing attacks on Christians. Beck then praised Horowitz, a leading conservative and a Jew, for taking a stand to protect Christians and speaking out about the growing persecution of Christians in America. “This guy is an American hero,” Beck said. “The threat is frightening,” Horowitz says. “I thought this book would be a warning about the future, but the plan to destroy Christianity is already underway and a real threat today,” Horowitz said. [more...]
