Tough Truths About Antisemitism
By Daniel Greenfield

"Hamas! Hamas! Jews to the gas!" When Evelyn Markus made the difficult decision to leave Amsterdam, the "world's most liberal city," where she had grown up and come to the United States, she thought she was leaving hate behind. Her reasons for leaving a country where her ancestors had lived for four centuries, and her continuing journey through history and hatred, is at the heart of her new documentary film, Never Again is Now. Confronting anti-Semitism begins with the courage to tell the truth about it. And that’s what Never Again is Now does. It doesn’t shy away from dealing with the uncomfortable truths about hatred. Instead, it takes it on. [more...]

What Conservatism Should Look Like After Trump, and more...
By Christopher Markowski

Hot topics I'm covering on my podcast this week: What Marco Rubio and other Republican-lite types are plotting moving forward and their ignorance in how the markets actually work. The easy way to solve income inequality. New AD in San Francisco is about as far-left as one can imagine. San Francisco is sh--hole. Let these far-left places fail. Higher taxes on the way? Trump at the Economic Club of NY... he is dead wrong on negative interest rates. Trade and tariffs - do not bend to the globalists. Texas builds a wall... against state income taxes. [more...]

Smart Wall Less Expensive Solution to Border Security
By Dr. Jerome Corsi

President Trump's core campaign promise of 2016 was to build the wall on the southern border. I have been working with HESCO, which is an established defense contractor that specializes in rapid-deployment perimeter defense systems for the U.S. military around the world. They have a product that is a very flexible wall system: Terrablock. This barrier they propose can't be scaled - it's designed with a spring mechanism that springs right back off. You can't drive a truck through it.  With the current wall, the steel bars are being cut through by smugglers who are able to take drugs in by cutting a few bars out. President Trump doesn't need additional appropriations; he can do it with the amount of money he's got available right now and the entire 1,200 miles can be completed by Election Day. If Terrablock can protect our troops in combat, they can protect the American people from drug criminals at the border. [more...]

How to Misunderstand and Misrepresent the Founders
By Robert Curry, author of Reclaiming Common Sense

Although the Founders wrote and spoke with clarity and brilliance, it is evidently easy for us today to misunderstand them. The evidence is all around us. There are so many examples of Americans of all persuasions offering interpretations of the Founders which differ fundamentally from the Founders’ understanding of themselves, anyone whom I select for this discussion can seem to be unfairly singled out. According to the Founders, our property rights are among our unalienable rights - and securing our unalienable rights is the very purpose of government: "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights... That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men." To provide an account of the Founders' ideas which leaves out unalienable rights is to not account for them at all. [more...]

The Color of Colorado Doesn't Matter Anymore
By Karen Kataline

With meticulous, decades-long planning, Democrats have successfully molded and fiddled with voter laws to give them a huge advantage in winning elections - and win they have. Democrats certainly didn’t write those laws to help Republicans, but some Republicans even supported those laws at the time because they seemed so benign. Colorado now has same-day and automatic voter registration, drivers’ licenses for illegals, and all mail-in ballots. The latter makes it possible to master the fine art of ballot harvesting. With all of that and more, it probably didn’t take as long as Democrat strategists expected to give them the monopoly of law-making power they now have in Colorado. [more...]

MadeInAmerica.com is Ready for the Holidays

By Don Buckner, Founder & CEO of MadeinAmerica.com

Americans who are tuning out the endless impeachment news and are instead focusing on their families, planning for the holidays and thinking about the real issues will love what we are doing to keep America first. MadeinAmerica.com has something for everyone and we're proud to offer products and services that are all made in the USA.

My patriotic plan began in 1998, when I noticed how hard it was to find American-made products online. That's when I purchased the domain MadeintheUSA.com. For several years, the website served as a directory resource connecting patriotic consumers to more than 300,000 American-made manufacturers. Then I acquired MadeInAmerica.com, which has become the go-to source for all things Made in America.

MADE IN AMERICA 2019 came alive in Indianapolis in October. This was an American-made celebration and the start of the Made in the USA movement. There were hundreds of manufacturers from across the country showcasing high-quality U.S. made machines and products. Succeeding in our mission to create the largest-ever showcase of American businesses and their products, I am proud to say this is only the beginning of the nationwide movement.

We have a buy & build American philosophy. Growing the U.S. economy depends on a strong and flexible manufacturing community. We have one goal: to raise awareness for the economic, environmental and community impact of American-made manufacturers and brands. We'll have lots of great deals for the coming holidays, starting on Black Friday. [more...]

The Real Jane Fonda
By James Hirsen

As Jane Fonda panders to the woke generation, many of the younger left-leaners think that she is just another run-of-the-mill hate America socialist. But they really need to get to know the real Jane Fonda better. As painful as it is, those of us who have been around a while can assist the process. Years ago, in a shameless so-called protest of the Vietnam War, Fonda earned the name “Hanoi Jane.” Astounding that Fonda would be reliving her protest un-glory days this beautiful month of November, the month when the patriotic and grateful among us are pouring our hearts out to our beloved Veterans here and in heaven. Truly tragically, Fonda’s current rhetoric reveals her disdain for a country that provided her with a level of success and abundance that few attain. [more...]

Steel Tariffs are Driving U.S. Economic Growth
By Jeff Ferry, Chief Economist

On October 25th, America’s largest steelmaker Nucor opened a new steel mill in Hickman, Arkansas. The mill will employ about 100 workers at an average salary of $80,000 a year. A jubilant Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson attended the opening and told the crowd: "I am thrilled that Nucor chose Hickman as the site for its new specialty cold mill complex... Nucor’s investment in Mississippi County over the past 30 years or so has made a substantial economic impact to the region." The steel tariffs are working. They are delivering prosperity to the steel industry, which is in turn benefiting the local communities where steelworks are located. According to industry sources, some $13 billion worth of major steel investment projects are now underway. Most of them are in small towns or semi-rural communities in Middle America, exactly the sort of places that became depressed after years of deindustrialization. [more...]

Only in Leftie-Land is a Roaring Economy a Threat
By Karen Kataline

Advisor to Bloomberg, Howard Wolfson, was reported by ABC News as saying, "Mike believes that Donald Trump represents an unprecedented threat to our nation." Only in Leftie-land is a roaring economy, American prosperity and a long list of measurable accomplishments that have improved the lives of everyday Americans a threat. Those everyday Americans are starting to ask themselves more and more why radical Leftists would prefer that they be unemployed, miserable, frightened and controlled by a dictatorial government. Quite a trick for the bunch that has claimed for decades that they were the "compassionate" ones. [more...]

Has the Coup Already Happened?
By Robert Curry, author of Reclaiming Common Sense

Democrats in Congress, Democratic operatives in the Deep State, and co-conspirators in the corporate leftist propaganda conglomerate are attempting to drive Trump from office. This hyperpartisan process rightly has been called an attempted coup. It is also a brazen fraud. Isn’t it clear that the coup has already happened? By trying to overthrow the results of a presidential election, the political elite is merely showing its hand; America has an elite that believes it now rules in America. We have an elite that does not accept the American idea of government - by, for, and of the people. [more...]

Decriminalizing Crime
By Lowell Ponte

The Left is now decriminalizing crime by effectively nullifying penalties for criminal acts. "Illegal aliens" are thus allowed to enter the U.S. illegally because many are no longer arrested or detained for doing so. In California, you can now shoplift up to $950 from a retail store and not be hunted down or arrested for doing so, which is bankrupting many California merchants. Many cities across the U.S. are likewise adopting large thefts - $750 in Dallas/Ft. Worth, e.g. - before they will go after the shoplifter. New York City now refuses to jail or otherwise punish those who jump subway turnstiles after a recent gang of protestors threatened violence. The mob was demanding its "right" to steal free transit... and got support from that idiot, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. [more...]

The Media's Double Standard on 'Whistleblowers' on Trump and ABC News

By Daniel Greenfield

The media is outraged at the exposure of the Democrat activist whom it has described as the "whistleblower" in their push to impeach President Trump. Whistleblower protections, they insist, should be sacrosanct. Certainly, whistleblowers shouldn't be fired. Meanwhile, until not long ago, CBS was run by Les Moonves, a serial sexual offender who has been compared to Harvey Weinstein. Les Moonves, the former CBS boss, was a close friend of Bill Clinton. Mexican Drug Cartels
By Christopher Markowski

The Mexican military has been out-gunned by the cartels.  The current president of Mexico says he's not fighting any drug war against these guys.  "It's a waste of time," he says.  He's not even going to bother.  The previous administrations couldn't do anything. They just bought a few people off here and there.  The Council on Foreign Relations says Americans spent $150 billion on cocaine, heroin, meth and marijuana and synthetic opioids like fentanyl. I don't believe that.  I think it's a lot more than that.  We've come a long way since the "Just Say No" campaigns of Nancy Reagan... or "This is Your Brain on Drugs."  There's glamour associated with it now.  I walked the streets of Manhattan and you can smell pot everywhere. There's nothing we can do now. [more...]

Ex-Terrorist Calls Out Warren, Sanders for Backing Palestinian 1% Terrorists
By Daniel Greenfield

While Senator Elizabeth Warren and other 2020 Democrats bemoaned President Trump’s eviction of the Palestinian Authority’s diplomatic delegation from Washington D.C., he’s all for it. "We don’t want them. If the Democrats want them," Muhammad says. "They can take and keep them." While I’m on the phone with Muhammad, and Amit Deri of Reservists on Duty, a pro-Israel campus group getting the real story out there, in D.C., Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, Amy Klobuchar, and other 2020 Democrats are partying with the biggest anti-Israel group in America. Politicians are largely to blame for California going to blazes. California's politicians - the same ones who have turned Los Angeles and San Francisco into homeless encampments - are busy dismantling lakes dammed to create water storage. These politicians have long wanted to end Proposition 13 with its tight limits on how much they can tax property. What they have schemed up instead, starting in 2022, are water restrictions that punish using more than 55 gallons of water per day with fines of up to $5,000. This is a giant tax on property owners who have a lawn, garden, or swimming pool - a way to tax property because they cannot get voters to repeal Proposition 13. Jew Hatred on Campus
By Evelyn Markus

Last month was the one-year anniversary of the synagogue shooting at the Tree of Life in Pittsburgh. The number of incidents against Jews and Jewish targets in the U.S. reached 780 in just the first half of this year. At least a dozen white supremacists have been arrested for such shootings, plots and threats, including a white supremacist arrested in a thwarted synagogue attack in Colorado today.

Last weekend the University of Minnesota hosted the yearly conference of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). SJP has about 200 branches on university campuses throughout the United States and is affiliated with the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. SJP is known for its defamation of Israel and its intimidation and harassment of Israeli and Jewish students and speakers on campus. Why is an organization with this track record tolerated and even awarded by American universities? The answer lies in the fact that far left thinking is now dominating at American universities. In the Marxist way of thinking, the world consists of only two categories: the oppressed and their oppressors. The Palestinians are seen as the oppressed and Israel as the colonial oppressor. On top of this, Palestinians are seen as non-white and therefore as underprivileged, while Jews are categorized as white and privileged. [more...]

Democrat Politics of Entitlement
By Karen Kataline

The level of hubris of Democrat Presidential candidates is truly impressive. They have proclaimed their plans to ban or mandate everything from our lifestyles to our language and from our balance sheets to our bathroom habits. "Would you ban AR-15's or even forcibly confiscate them?" Yes! "Would you tax carbon emissions?" Yes! "Reparations?" Sure! In the midst of such arrogance, Democrats still claim they are victims. Elizabeth Warren was a poor pregnant Indian, and Cory Booker is a courageous but crucified Spartacus. Is that why they believe they are entitled to tell everyone else what to do and how to live?  Not exactly. It’s just part of the socialist playbook. [more...]

The Source of the Media's Post-Truth Analysis
By Robert Curry

What has happened to the news? Not so long ago, the big voices in the media at least made some effort to maintain an appearance of objectivity. But it has been evident for some time that most people in the news business today have dispensed with all pretense of fairness. The advent of Barack Obama largely put an end to the pretense. His coming was too much for them to continue the charade. They sacrificed their claim to objectivity in order to pursue their love affair with Obama. And their hysterically negative coverage of Donald Trump is simply the reverse side of the same coin. The fake news people openly advocate progressivism and leftism. They attack anyone - especially Trump - who threatens the progressive Left’s project of "fundamentally transforming" America. [more...] Robert is the author of Reclaiming Common Sense.

California's Electric Power Grab
By James Hirsen

California currently lays claim to a record number of homeless people that are living in urban squalor, a string of diseases from the Dark Ages that have made a 21st century return, and a series of wildfires that are ravaging forests, businesses, and homes alike. Now comes the news that millions of people are having to live off the grid, after having been involuntarily unplugged, courtesy of the utility company. Gavin Newsom is the current Democratic governor of the state. He continues to advocate the same kinds of policies that placed California in the disastrous predicament in which it finds itself on so many fronts. In struggling to address the problematic multi-layered situation, Newsom recently made the decision to appoint an individual to look into the idea of the state actually taking over California’s major energy company, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E). Dr. Jerome Corsi is Building the Smart Wall

President Trump's core campaign promise of 2016 was to build the wall on the southern border.  Dr. Jerome Corsi has been working with HESCO, which is an established defense contractor that specializes in rapid-deployment perimeter defense systems for the U.S. military around the world.

Terrablock has installations in military establishments all around the world.  The advantage is it's a "smart wall" - all of the sensors and electronics are built into it.  You can tell if someone is penetrating it and respond immediately.  This is a modern-day solution to the problem.  The U.S. military understands that perimeter defense is not going to be achieved by big steel barriers.  These walls appear formidable, but they're pretty easily able to be gotten through.  President Trump doesn't need additional appropriations; he can do it with the amount of money he's got available right now and the entire 1,200 miles can be completed by Election Day.  Trump’s detractors in the MSM who are trying to say not much has been built and the campaign promise hasn't been fulfilled will be proven wrong.  If Terrablock can protect our troops in combat, they can protect the American people from drug criminals at the border. Jew Hatred on Campus

By Evelyn Markus

Last weekend the University of Minnesota hosted the yearly conference of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). SJP has about 200 branches on university campuses throughout the United States and is affiliated with the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. SJP is known for its defamation of Israel and its intimidation and harassment of Israeli and Jewish students and speakers on campus. The Anti-Defamation League, the American Jewish Committee and the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy have condemned SJP’s behavior as antisemitic. Yet, SJP received the NYU’s President’s Service Award last April for "its positive impact on the New York University community."

Many people on the far left underestimate how vulnerable the Jews have been throughout history. Even though Jews came to thrive in many civilizations, there always came the moment of persecution. Jewish people need a safe space, which is Israel. Denying Israel’s right to exist, demonizing it and singling it out for punishment is antisemitic.

Universities in America should acknowledge that Jewish students on campuses suffer from anti-Zionist intimidation and aggression and have to hide a part of their identity - their positive relationship with Israel. It is time American universities stop ignoring the hate coming from Students for Justice in Palestine.

Jew Hatred at the University of Minnesota

Stealth Newspapers Expose Jew Hatred at the University of Minnesota During National Students for Justice in Palestine Conference

U. Minnesota named one of the "Top Ten Colleges that Promote Jew Hatred and Incite Terrorism"

In a stealth campaign to reach students directly, the David Horowitz Freedom Center today distributed 2,000 newspapers containing its new report on the "Top Ten Colleges that Promote Jew Hatred and Incite Terrorism" as well as posters condemning the Hamas-funded BDS movement against Israel on the University of Minnesota campus. The University of Minnesota is one of the schools named in the report.

The newspaper distribution coincides with the National Students for Justice in Palestine Conference, a highly controversial event known for promoting Jew hatred and anti-Israel terrorism, which will take place this weekend at the University of Minnesota.

Titled "From Campus to Congress: Allied with Terror," the report documents the malignant spread of Jew hatred in our nation’s academic institutions. "Jew hatred is no longer solely the purview of academic outliers, those institutions known for radical activism and absurdist teachings," the report explains. "The Jew hatred promoted by Hamas through its front group Students for Justice in Palestine has now trickled down to infect less typically activist campuses in the heartland - including the University of Minnesota which will host this year’s National Students for Justice in Palestine conference."

A poster included in the pages of each newspaper highlights the role that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, whose district includes the University of Minnesota, has played in promoting the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel. The poster features images of Rep. Omar and Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, accompanied by a notorious tweet from Omar stating "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel." The caption above this image states "BDS: Finishing the Work that Hitler Started." These same posters were also hung in public locations on the Minnesota campus.

"For nearly two decades, SJP has promoted Hamas lies and propaganda in order to establish a beachhead of support for anti-Israel terrorists on American campuses, resulting in a dramatic rise in anti-Semitic incidents and the harassment of Jewish students," said David Horowitz, founder of the Freedom Center. "

"American universities like the University of Minnesota allow these terrorist allies to use their authority and prestige to lend this genocidal offensive an aura of respectability," Horowitz continued. "Our campaign intends to expose SJP and other supporters of BDS as fronts for Hamas and to press universities to cease their funding and support of these organizations."

The Left Raises Hell
By Lowell Ponte

One minute before midnight on Oct. 25, as many as 13,000 witches who call themselves #MagicResistance conjured "demons of the infernal realms" to empower their magic spell to "bind" President Donald Trump. Call these witches "Demoncrats," fury-filled left-wing activists from the "dark side of the force" who want America ruled by the minions of hell, by the demons. Since it began, the utopian progressive movement has repudiated God and religious morality, seeking instead a man-made godless humanist religion in which humans are "the measure of all things." Political Correctness Versus Common Sense
By Robert Curry

The masters of political correctness in America are moving fast. For example, consider the explosion of so-called gender identities." In 2016, New York City released a list of 31 genders approved by the city's Commission on Human Rights. While writing my book Reclaiming Common Sense, I found out how many genders there were then... the answer: 63.  The latest number is 112. Not long ago, everyone understood the unchanging commonsense reality that human beings are either male or female. Today in New York City, the rules have been changed - and failure to keep up can have dire consequences. New York City's special 31 genders are surrounded by special legal protections. A Majority of White Democrats Have Become Non-Christian

Student Scores in Math and Reading Continue to Drop
By Christopher Markowski

Student scores in math and reading have continued to drop. The widest drops tend to be people who are poor. It's not about race, not about "white privilege." Students are making no progress and falling further behind. Money is not going to solve this problem. You want to see these kids' grades improve? Pay the parents if the kids do well in school. Give incentives to parents if their kids get A's and B's in school and improve on test grades. I'd almost guarantee it that all of a sudden, those kids would start doing better if parents take an interest in what their kids are doing. Now they don't. [more...]

Antisemitism is Moving from Fringe to Mainstream
By Evelyn Markus

Hate crimes and harassment against Jews in the United States have risen in the past four years - some on the deadliest scale in American history. An important thing to look at is if the ideas behind these crimes are spreading. If the ideas spread, the incidents will rise. On the Internet, there are about 38 active American white supremacist groups with individuals and online platforms totaling 3.5 million followers or less. In America’s mostly left-wing college environment, a few hundred antisemitic incidents were reported in the first half of 2018. This phenomenon has intensified in the past few years and is often Israel-related. Expressing solidarity with Israel has become dangerous these days. Radical anti-Israel groups have gone as far as calling for the genocide of Jews and threatened Jews regardless of their position on Israel. [more...]

Al-Baghdadi Dead, Leftists Crestfallen
By Robert Spencer

A hero of the Left has passed away. One of the most famous undead people in the world, the Islamic State (ISIS) caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been reported dead yet again, and this time it actually appears to be true. The Washington Post headlined its story about the killing as if Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was one of their favored anti-Trump intellectuals, dead at a tragically young age: “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, austere religious scholar at helm of Islamic State, dies at 48.” Bloomberg wrote that “Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi transformed himself from a little-known teacher of Koranic recitation into the self-proclaimed ruler of an entity that covered swaths of Syria and Iraq.” The respect! The deference! The admiration! [more...]

High Court Lets Anti-Christian Ruling Stand
By James Hirsen

The U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled on a profoundly significant case involving the religious rights of all Americans, and more specifically, the rights of our nation’s schoolchildren, which are safeguarded and secured by the all-important words contained in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The High Court declined to review an appeal submitted on behalf of a public high school student and a Christian, Caleigh Wood, who refused to compromise her religious beliefs by participating in a class assignment that was overtly anti-Christian in nature. What conflicted with young Caleigh’s deeply held tenets of faith was a Muslim conversion prayer, which was part and parcel of the curricular assignment of a required course. [more...]

Words like that are more appropriate descriptors of the government-run healthcare systems abroad that Sanders would like to import to the United States. It was also shared by his official campaign Twitter and Facebook page, as well as by Kayleigh McEnany, the National Press Secretary for his 2020 reelection campaign. [more...]

Gender Wars
By Karen Kataline

As recently as 2015, the Left has been pushing the narrative that there is no real difference between men and women. A plethora of articles in parenting magazines and Mommy blogs authoritatively told parents that all boys should play with dolls. About the same time, complaints abounded that traditional toys for girls were too passive because they discouraged girls from developing interests in science, math and building things. Fast forward not even a half a decade and we’ve leaped into a bizarre-o world of contradictions where masculinity itself is "toxic," and women are portrayed as hothouse flowers. No matter what they say, they should be believed because they are women. That doesn’t sound like men and women are the same, does it? [more...]

Since it began, the utopian progressive movement has repudiated God and religious morality, seeking instead a man-made godless humanist religion in which humans are "the measure of all things." The Lynching of Our Language by Making Words Off Limits

By Karen Kataline

The Left believes by uttering the word "lynching," the mere use of the word, regardless of context or the actual meaning shows President Trump is a racist. This time the Left has irrationally decided this word should never be used by a person with white skin. It doesn’t stop there. In the un-brave new world of the Left, there is a growing list of words we aren’t allowed to say. Conversely, we must not refuse to use words they have newly prescribed for us or we could lose our jobs, our reputations, or our entire life’s work. In New York City, such "crimes" (the use of the phrase 'illegal alien') can potentially cost you a quarter of a million dollars. While we are laughing at the silliness of these arbitrary and authoritarian language dictators, the Left continues to get away with the bastardization - yes, bastardization - of the English language. [more...]

Anatomy of a Lynching
By David Horowitz

When I was eleven years old, a book came into our progressive household titled We Charge Genocide. It was published by an organization calling itself the Civil Rights Congress and was a book-length petition calling on the United Nations to condemn the United States for conducting genocide against American Negroes (as they were then referred to). The frontispiece to the book featured a photograph of a lynching that took place in Indiana in August 1930. It was, in fact, the most famous photograph of a lynching, one that was the direct inspiration for Strange Fruit, Billie Holliday’s elegy for the victims. The photograph shows two black men hanging from the limbs of a tree surrounded by a crowd of whites. One man facing the camera points at the hanging bodies with a ghoulish grin.  Everybody who has seen any picture of a lynching has probably seen this photograph. The image is horrifying but it took me more than 10 years before I had read enough to understand that lynching was actually not devised for black people. Hillary Clinton Sending Up Trial Balloons for Jumping In
By Daniel Greenfield

Can the 2020 Dem field get any crazier? Sure... why not? There's little doubt that Mrs. Clinton would love to run; but having a shot at this late stage would require some extraordinary deal-making, and nobody among the Dems really wants her back for another round. But, if nothing else, this also allows her to remind Elizabeth Warren that she's around, and a potential complication, and to negotiate to embed some of her people in the Warren campaign. [more...]

How Long Can Sen. Warren Dodge Questions About Medicare for All?
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

Presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren won't answer a simple question about the healthcare plan she endorses, Medicare for All. Will it raise taxes on middle-class families? Sen. Warren, the candidate who has a plan for virtually every one of the country's problems, has gone silent about her plan for health care. This is savvy, but cynical, politics. Medicare for All will, of course, require crushing new taxes on average Americans. Sen. Warren might be able to skirt that unpleasant reality in the primary, but if she makes it to the general election, it will come out - and spell her doom. [more...]

The War for America's Soul
By Karen Kataline

The War for America’s Soul is a conservative event sponsored by Salem Media, parent company of Townhall, that is touring the country. The title is borrowed from the latest book by Salem syndicated talk show host Sebastian Gorka. Is that title accurate or is it just hyperbole to sell a political event? Not only is it disturbingly accurate, but too many elected Republicans are still unwilling to see or admit it. Shouldn’t we be able to define what America’s soul is before we determine that America is in danger of losing it? I submit that America’s soul is built on the moral imperative of liberty for every citizen, with free markets and self-government as the best possible means to achieve it. [more...]

Why Confiscatory Taxing of the Wealthy is a Hate Crime
By Lowell Ponte

If Senator Bernie Sanders or any other politician said "Black people should not exist. I propose that we impose a confiscatory 97.5 percent tax rate on them to make their survival impossible," we would be outraged at such evil racism. But socialist Senator Sanders recently said exactly this about billionaires - that they should not exist, and that he would use a 97.5 percent tax on them to end their existence. Most people assume that it should be a hate crime to attack people for genetic traits such as skin color that they were born with and cannot control... but most of us believe that wealth is not influenced by your DNA, your inherited genetic blueprint. Recent scientific research, however, indicates that 37 to 48 percent of a person's success in business and making money IS genetic, just like race. [more...]

Take Stock in Airlines
By Crista Huff

There's been a variety of news pertaining to airlines, and specifically to the Boeing 737 MAX jet problem, in recent weeks. It can be hard to know which airline stocks to buy now and which to ignore. I always use profit growth as my first line of defense when deciding, on the theory that rising profits should theoretically lead to rising share prices. At this moment, Alaska Air Group (ALK) and Southwest Airlines (LUV) are projected to deliver much stronger 2020 earnings growth than American Airlines Group (AAL), Delta Air Lines (DAL), Spirit Airlines (SAVE) and United Airlines Holdings (UAL), while Hawaiian Holdings (HA) is expected to see profits fall in both 2019 and 2020. Quentin Tarantino Pushes Back on China
By James Hirsen

Someone in Hollywood is finally standing up to China. Bucking the trend of the big studios, which have been routinely allowing Chinese censors to dictate movie content, Quentin Tarantino has made it clear that he will not alter his latest film, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” as Chinese officials had demanded. As a result, China has cancelled the release of Tarantino’s fantasy-dramedy, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. The homage to 1960s Hollywood had originally been scheduled to hit Chinese movie screens on October 25. [more...]

Yet Another Terrible Liberal Media Smear
By Wayne Allyn Root

When liberals want to slander you, they can take any sentence out of context to hang you - as long as they leave out the actual details and context. I was in Miami, Florida last weekend to speak in front of 1,200 conservatives at a fabulous 3-day conference called AmpFest19. After my rousing speech, the liberal reporters twisted my story. A Soros-funded, liberal media group wrote a story accusing me of “promoting violence.” They turned a great all-American "Karate Kid" story, of the nerd defeating bullies, into a story of “violence by conservatives.” That’s disgusting, revolting and a fraud. But it’s instructive. This is what the liberal media and liberal politicians do to Trump every day. They are liars and bullies. They slander, intimidate, misrepresent and persecute... and their chief tool is propaganda. [more...]
