Neo-Nazis on Campus

The David Horowitz Freedom Center released a groundbreaking pamphlet today revealing that campus anti-Israel activists affiliated with Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), the Muslim Students Association (MSA) and other likeminded groups are using social media to praise Adolf Hitler, spread anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and call for the extermination of the Jews. The Freedom Center’s new pamphlet describes how the anti-Israel terror group Hamas has funded a generation of college activists who falsely portray the Jews as colonial-settler occupiers of a fictional state called Palestine” and maliciously describe Israel - the only liberal democracy in the Middle East - as an “apartheid state,” leading to an outpouring of neo-Nazi hate and open calls for another Holocaust. Trump’s Turning Point in History

Progressives, after a century of power-grabbing, were in 2016 only one election victory away from dissolving America into a collectivist global government. The left-dominated media and unelected Deep State in 2016 decided that they would do more than interfere with our election by rigging the Democratic nomination for Hillary Clinton, and then refusing to prosecute her many crimes. Almost unreported, the liberal media also tried to rig the Republican primaries to guarantee that Ms. Clinton became President by picking the “weakest” possible opponent to make her victory easy. The media did this by giving Donald Trump what the New York Times estimates was a de facto campaign contribution of $2 Billion worth of free airtime to beat his GOP rivals. [more...]

Sexual Harassment Allegations Surface Against the President of the Motion Picture Academy

The last thing Hollywood needs is another high-profile scandal. Unfortunately, this is exactly what recently landed at the doorstep of a once respected institution. The president of the Motion Picture Academy, who was at the organization’s helm in the midst of the Harvey Weinstein sexual misconduct disclosures, is himself now the subject of an investigation involving multiple accusations of sexual harassment. According to Variety, John Bailey, the president of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, is under investigation for sexual harassment allegations. The probe was launched after the Academy received three separate claims of impropriety. [more...]

The U.S. Surprises Estimates by Adding 313,000 Jobs

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released the employment report for February 2018. It surpassed and surprised analysts’ estimates by adding 313,000 jobs. The unemployment rate remained at 4.1% for the fifth consecutive month, the lowest rate in 17 years. Analysts had expected that the U.S. had added about 200,000 jobs and that the pool of potential workers has been depleting. These new figures suggest otherwise; the last time the U.S. experienced large gains with low unemployment was during the economic boom of the 1990s. The U.S. has added over 500,000 new jobs since the start of 2018, and the labor force participation rate has increased as well - its best one month gain in over 8 years. [more...]

Spreading the Wealth Trump Style - Get Ready for More Tax Cuts

I’m no proponent of runaway government spending and the headlong rush into national insolvency. But, if the government is going to do it anyway, we as citizens should get to hold onto every last red cent, regardless what it might eventually be worth. And, who knows, perhaps the added attention to the deficit will help the Congress to return to fiscal sanity. It’s doubtful, but we always hope for change we can all believe in. Like clockwork, President Trump raised the prospect of more tax cuts during the Republican Congressional Retreat. He recently delivered, promising Phase 2. [more...]

A Lack of Candor

On the latest edition of REVOLUTION_The Podcast... we use Attorney General Sessions' rationale for firing former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe - for a "lack of candor" - and apply it to all the controversies surrounding the Trump Administration: the Trump-Mueller clash; the Stormy Daniels case; the ongoing relationship with Putin's Russia; and all the chaos inside the Trump White House. Corsi: Trump Absolutely Right in Firing McCabe

Bestselling author Jerome Corsi defended the Trump administration's firing of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe - and derided sympathy for an ouster that'll deprive the veteran agent of his FBI benefits.
"His pension ought not to be his biggest problem," Corsi said in an interview with Newsmax. "Spending time in jail should be his biggest problem."

Corsi's new bestseller Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump, details what the author says is a "criminal conspiracy to remove the president from office." Killing the Deep State has soared to the top of Amazon bestsellers and became a No. 1 bestseller its first day of release.

Corsi says the evidence is so overwhelming and the press is largely ignoring his book because it shows "the smoking gun" proof against the Bureau. Corsi noted that there are now allegations that McCabe engaged in serious wrongdoing, if proven, that include asking FBI agents to change interviews with witnesses. Fox News, Corsi said, reported that claim in late January - involving a FISA memo on Obama-era government surveillance. [more...]

Sex Reassignment Doesn’t Work - Here is the Evidence

Sex “reassignment” doesn’t work. It’s impossible to “reassign” someone’s sex physically; and attempting to do so doesn’t produce good outcomes psychosocially.

As I demonstrate in my book, When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment, the medical evidence suggests that sex reassignment does not adequately address the psychosocial difficulties faced by people who identify as transgender. Even when the procedures are successful technically and cosmetically, and even in cultures that are relatively “trans-friendly,” transitioners still face poor outcomes.

Dr. Paul McHugh, the university distinguished service professor of psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, explains... [more...]

In his new book, When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment, Ryan T. Anderson, PhD offers a balanced approach to the policy issues, a nuanced vision of human embodiment, and a sober and honest survey of the human costs of getting human nature wrong. He draws on the best insights from the fields of biology, psychology and philosophy to explore the many contradictions at the heart of the transgender movement.

To Protect the Environment, Pope Francis Should Look to Free Markets

Edited by Robert M. Whaples

As the Catholic Church marks five years into Pope Francis’ papacy, we should be grateful he has made environmental protection and helping the poor central themes of his work. Unfortunately, these noble aims are often undermined by the pontiff’s fondness for central planning by government and his antipathy for free-market capitalism.

In his 2015 encyclical, Laudato si’, his leading statement about “care for our common home,” Francis decries the excessive and wasteful consumption enabled by capitalism, and paints capitalists with an extremely broad brush, depicting them as exploitative, short-sighted, and selfishly unconcerned about the environment.

This misunderstanding of free-market capitalism is a regrettable distortion. Such criticisms disregard the market incentives and mechanisms (not to mention individual liberties) that best alleviate the environmental degradation and extreme poverty that Francis seeks to remedy. [more...]

The Dawning of a New Conservative Enlightenment

There’s MORE Great News for America coming - according to Dr. Gerard Lameiro, who has been called by radio and TV hosts across the country “America’s #1 Political Analyst” and the “Nostradamus of Political Elections.” Many will recall that in 2016 Dr. Lameiro accurately predicted in his prescient 2016 book, “Great News for America” a Trump victory while most pollsters and pundits gave Trump almost zero chance of winning the presidential election. In his Electoral College forecast, Dr. Lameiro correctly predicted every state that candidate Trump actually carried in the 2016 election. On November 8th, we all learned that Dr. Lameiro’s Electoral College forecast was right on the money.

Now comes the follow-up to his brilliant “Great News for America” - the highly anticipated MORE Great News for America, Dr. Lameiro’s enthusiastic, energetic, and optimistic vision for America. There is one special chapter in particular, which will appeal to those who believe in the foundation of the Judeo-Christian ethic. Lameiro predicts the dawning of a new Conservative Enlightenment that will further extend, strengthen, enhance, and then maintain our new Conservative Era for decades to come. Included in his prediction are the 4 R’s in America’s future:

·     The Return to Faith in God
·     The Renaissance of Reason
·     The Restoration of Education
·      The Rebirth of Morality, Freedom, Peace and Prosperity

These 4 R’s are major, significant, religious and cultural trends. They will play an important role in developing and promoting America’s religious freedom, political freedom, and economic freedom. They will also positively impact life in America on many different levels and in many different ways. Dr. Lameiro forecasts a strong resurgence in faith in God in America; a renewed understanding of reason, logic, and scientific method; the reinvigoration of our education system, eliminating the current wave of leftist indoctrination; and the eventual return to the values that made America great in the first place.

According to Dr. Lameiro, it’s an exciting and hope-filled time to be alive. Rather than lamenting dismal times ahead as many pundits do, he argues persuasively that America has entered a new conservative era. He predicts that there will be a rebirth of morality in government; that we will see a return to more individual freedom; that we will witness peace with other nations as well as peace within America, resulting in a level of economic prosperity greater than ever before seen in the history of the world.

Will Trump be the Last President to Visit California?

President Trump scheduled this week for his maiden visit to the most hostile leftist land to him on Earth, the once-golden state of California. Today California has more poor people than any other state – one-third of America’s welfare recipients, and one-quarter of its illegal aliens. This dependency on government has produced a super-majority of ruling Democrats and a minority-majority state where whites are a minority. In the north of this first “sanctuary” state, the Oakland mayor has done more than refuse to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) police... [more...]

Oprah’s “New Age” Wrinkle

Hollywood recently managed to take a classic fantasy novel and strip away its soul. Author Madeleine L’Engle’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” a book published in 1962, is clearly written from a Christian perspective and eloquently communicates the author’s biblical worldview. Ava DuVernay and Oprah Winfrey are the co-directors of a current film adaptation of L’Engle’s work. Unfortunately, it is likely that the author would scarcely recognize her own story as a result of Hollywood’s reverse Midas touch that materializes in the form of New Age mysticism. [more...]

Solarworld Plans Solar Cell Production Ramp-up

SolarWorld Americas is ramping production of solar cells at its Hillsborough, Oregon facility. CEO Juergen Stein tells us that the company is aiming to add another 300 employees before year’s end, which would bring its total U.S. workforce to 600 people. “We are already hiring,” Stein said. “We are running at around 50% of capacity today and we want to be back up to 100%.” Full capacity of the Hillsborough facility is 450 megawatts of solar cells. SolarWorld was one of two companies that took China’s solar manufacturers to the U.S. International Trade Commission and won their case, with President Trump’s January decision to slap 30% tariffs on imported solar cells and modules. [more...]

American Healthcare at a Crossroads

The American healthcare system is at a crossroads. Over the past eight years there has been an acceleration in the movement towards automation, centralization and regulation in an attempt to increase efficiency, lower cost and increase access. Towards that end, there has been an exponential growth in large hospital systems which have co-opted and in some cases closed community and rural hospitals; the number of physicians in independent private practice has steadily declined now accounting for only a third of practicing physicians; the medical insurance industry has been whittled down to basically five national insurance companies and government insurance (Medicaid and Medicare); and the out-of-pocket costs for patients has risen while their access to doctors has decreased. The President & the Porn Star

On the latest edition of REVOLUTION_The Podcast... we analyze the Stormy Daniels vs. Donald Trump case: more than being salacious, is this matter a serious legal problem for the POTUS? Is it a campaign finance scandal more than a sex scandal? Where did the money really come from that was used to "hush" Stormy? Are there others who received payoffs? Is President Trump susceptible to being blackmailed? Why are Stormy Daniels and Vladimir Putin the only two people Trump never criticizes? [more...]

Pope Francis Has It Wrong on Global Poverty and Its Cure
Edited by Robert M. Whaples

Contributing author to the Independent Institute’s new book, Pope Francis and the Caring Society, Robert P. Murphy, believes Pope Francis' remarks perpetuate the myth that globalization and free markets have hurt the world's poor.  He says, “the pontiff offered a moral guidance for advancing the conference's theme: ‘creating a shared future in a fractured world.’”  He added, “Although inspired by concern for the poor and the marginalized, the Vatican's message is seriously flawed. On a conceptual level, Pope Francis posits a false dichotomy between economic freedom and human rights.” [more...]

More Never-Trump Moral Preening

President Trump in his first year has succeeded at realizing many long-time conservative goals like tax reform and deregulation, to name a few. But for Never-Trump grumps, these achievements seem to intensify their bitter-ender anger at a political parvenu. Puffed up with self-regard about the purity of their “principles,” many have doubled-down on their criticisms of Trump’s brash, vulgar demeanor, coming off like the pompous Judge Smails sputtering over Al Czervik’s trashing of the Bushwood Country Club. The latest outburst came from columnist Mona Charen after she lectured the CPAC attendees about their hypocrisy over the recent sexual harassment disclosures. Writing for The New York Times - the premier gate-keeper of “correct” opinion - Charen reprised her scolding of Trump supporters that signaled to progressive monitors she is free from the Trump pox. But all she achieved beyond a pat on the head from progressives was to remind Trump voters why they rejected over a dozen establishment Republicans and then the deplorable Hillary Clinton in favor of an insurgent bulldozing his way through the stale received wisdom of those Republican politicians and pundits who’d rather be liked than win. [more...]

Women’s March Leader Attended Racist Hate Group Events for 30 Years

Women's March leader Tamika Mallory came under fire for her appearance at an event of the racist hate group, the Nation of Islam, and for appearing with its leader, Louis Farrakhan, who had praised Hitler. Farrakhan's speech was full of anti-Semitic references. After initial complaints about being bullied (essentially the same response as #TimesUp's Amber Tamblyn). Now Tamika is offering a more comprehensive defense. And by defense, I mean some combination of arm waving, some of my best friends are gay black Jewish women, and Obama's Wright speech. She insists that she doesn't share the Nation of Islam's racist views, but nor is she willing to meaningfully condemn them. Instead she informs us that she's been attending them for most of her life. Pushing the Divide Over Illegal Aliens Wider
By Ron Hosko - President of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund/ Fmr. Assistant Director of the FBI

In a development that’s reflective of the widening chasm of viewpoints on the treatment of illegal aliens in America, a big city mayor, Oakland’s Libby Schaaf, issued a public warning of impending Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) immigration sweeps. The arrests went forward anyway, netting more than 150, including several wanted for serious and violent crimes. Acting ICE boss Tom Homan wasted no time in calling the mayor the equivalent of a gang lookout and pointing to the difficulties ICE faces in “sanctuary” jurisdictions like Oakland and San Francisco, saying, “Because these jurisdictions prevent ICE from arresting criminal aliens in the secure confines of a jail, they also force ICE officers to make more arrests out in the community, which poses increased risks for law enforcement and the public.” Homan is right.  Liberal mayors like Schaaf, ever-willing to see illegal immigrants only as victims, are working harder than ever to poke Washington, D.C., and its law enforcers in the eye. Unglued - The Turning Point Week

On the latest edition of REVOLUTION_The Podcast... we examine the President's erratic and unpredictable behavior and ask: is this the result of the pressure from the Mueller probe? Does this explain the confusion over "take the guns first and then do due process"? And the President denigrating his own Attorney General and calling him "Mr. Magoo" and his Deputy Attorney General "Mr. Peepers?" Why is Mr. Trump more agitated over the actor, Alec Baldwin, than he is over Russian President Putin's animated video depicting Russian warheads raining down on Florida? Is he, as his staff is saying in private, indeed coming "unglued?" [more...]

Democrats Try “Gerrymandering” Elections by Age and Ethnicity

In 1812, Massachusetts Governor Elbridge Gerry tried rigging elections by redrawing district boundaries so that his Democratic-Republican Party (the forerunner of today’s Democratic Party) would win more seats. One such district was shaped like a salamander, which critics called a “Gerrymander.” The Democrats ever since have used trickery to win. Pennsylvania Supreme Court judges, all Democrats, have replaced the legislature’s power to draw congressional districts. In 2000, Democrats tried to throw out overseas ballots of Florida soldiers, and the far left Center for American Progress this February proposed making it harder for Americans in uniform to vote overseas, because soldiers tend to vote as conservatives. In 2016, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe issued an executive order giving votes to more than 100,000 felons, who vote up to 88 percent Democratic. [more...]

The Weinstein Company on Track to File for Bankruptcy

Following the Harvey Weinstein allegations, the company began to see a backlash in its business operations. Many business partners cut ties with the studio and new business opportunities were cut off. Fearing the end of the studio, executives sought a buyer that would keep the doors open and protect their employees. A group of investors, led by Maria Contreras-Sweet, the former head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, saw this as an opportunity to start a movie studio that was headed by women. However, a letter from the Board of Directors of the Weinstein Company stated that the buyers were unwilling to provide interim financing while the deal was being finalized. As a result, the company is on track to filing for bankruptcy. The deal hit its major snag a few weeks ago when New York’s Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, filed a suit against the company and Weinstein. [more...]

Trump Rightly Puts Foot Down on Steel Cheating

In the world of international trade, countries like China continually use their own version of “steroids” to gain an advantage. Trade cheating has been particularly evident in the global steel market, with overseas competitors pushing the U.S. steel industry to the brink of collapse. Thankfully, President Trump is willing to strongly confront such cheating, as evidenced by his decision to impose tariffs on “dumped” imports of both steel and aluminum. The president’s announcement is particularly commendable since it takes a broad approach to global trade. [more...]

Make Florida Drivers Great Again

The much vaunted self-driving car has a problem; it doesn’t drive very well and often suffers from poor judgment. Whether it’s a Tesla, Google Car, Mercedes or any other number of products attempting to dominate the American Highway, they just can’t seem to stay out of trouble. People have been killed or injured in while proving out these technological marvels. However, there’s an easy way to speed up the research and development process, designate the entire state of Florida as a self-driving car testing site. Florida has earned the distinction of the nation’s worst drivers. With this kind of record, the state must become the epicenter of self-driving vehicle technology development. This designation will provide many benefits. [more...]

Why We Need Tariffs on Steel

Are we going to defend the U.S. steel industry from the decline caused by the growth of uneconomic foreign competition? Or, are we going to allow the industry to fade away and become dependent on other countries for this ubiquitous product, vital to our military and civilian economy? We believe the answer has to be an effort in favor of defending America’s steel industry. Too much is at stake. America’s national security depends on a reliable supply of steel. America’s infrastructure, much of it urgently in need of renewal, depends on steel. Great American industries, including automobiles, aerospace, and many others, depend on a reliable supply of high-quality, low-cost steel. Thousands of jobs also depend on the steel industry. [more...]

Huckabee Withdraws from the Board after Haters Intimidate the CMA

Left-wing hatred, in of all places Nashville, has just politicized a country music institution. Rather than learn a lesson from the NFL and Hollywood, a small but highly vocal group of people in Music City has managed to pressure the Country Music Association (CMA) into having former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee withdraw as a board member from the group’s educational arm, the CMA Foundation. Last week, the CMA announced two new members of the board of this charitable foundation, Huckabee and singer Chris Young. Following the announcement, the CMA was the recipient of a hate-filled backlash over its choice of Huckabee because of the former governor’s political and religious views and solid support of President Donald Trump, as well as the fact that he is the proud father of President Trump’s current press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Tariffs on Imported Steel & Aluminum

We strongly applaud President Trump’s announcement of Section 232 safeguard tariffs on an unprecedented surge of steel and aluminum imports. The U.S. Commerce Department recently reported that a wave of heavily subsidized steel and aluminum from China and 11 other countries “threaten to impair the national security” of the United States. In response, President Trump said today that he will impose 25 percent tariffs on steel imports from all countries, with no exceptions. He has also announced 10 percent tariffs on all aluminum imports, with no exceptions. [more...]
