Big Box Bullies

Walmart and Kroger were among some of the big box chain stores that laid down nationwide mask mandates even when many states didn’t.   They decided, certainly with plenty of government benefits, to become government grocery stores. Now they’re losing support and respect from their customers and they’re trying to have it both ways. They’ll try to do the bidding of the government and claim they are "allowing" their former customers to make certain decisions for themselves as to whether they put a piece of cloth over their face in order to shop there. It doesn’t matter what their customers think about the government’s purpose in turning us all into obedient, look-alike lemmings with no ability to communicate. They don’t care about you enough to respect your God-given liberties but they will posture that they care about you and then claim that their security guards are victims when some of those upstarts fight back. [more...]

Big Tech Censorship of Medical Experts

A July 27 press conference in Washington, D.C. hosted by a physicians’ organization called "America’s Frontline Doctors" became a viral sensation when videos of the event were posted across America's social media platforms. The original "Frontline" video was viewed over 17 million times in the first 8 hours of its posting on Facebook, with over 185,000 viewers concurrently watching the livestream of the event. Then, without warning, Facebook moderators scrubbed the popular video from their website entirely. Coincidentally - or not - at nearly the same exact time, moderators for Twitter and Google/YouTube made the exact same decision. Citizens for Free Speech (CFFS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of the First Amendment says this blatant display of online censorship by Silicon Valley technocrats must end. [more...]

Trump Suggests Postponing the Election

For a few weeks, I have been saying that there may not even be an election in November this year as the forces of darkness continue to propel U.S. into chaos. President Trump has now questioned whether the election should be held under these circumstances. Bloomberg who obsessively campaigns against obesity, also obsessively campaigns to eliminate physically active jobs and replace them with sedentary desk jobs. That’s the default Democrat position. Last year, Biden showed up in New Hampshire and urged coal miners to learn how to code. "Anybody who can go down 3,000 feet in a mine can sure as hell learn to program as well," he declared. The Learn to Code cliché is dumb and offensive. But going down 3,000 feet in a mine is a whole lot less likely to make you fat than maintaining a website or creating another useless zombie shooting app. The Democrat vision for the nation’s society and economy has been to replace manual jobs with desk jobs after spending four to six years in college. We're seeing a major trend arise throughout the nation: the defacing and erasing of BLM murals. The latest example comes from Redwood City in the Bay Area in California. A Redwood City resident got permission from city officials to paint a 'Black Lives Matter' sign on their Broadway street; in fact, the city even supplied the paint! And so, another city resident, a Trump-supporting real estate attorney named Maria Rutenberg, realized that if her street has become a public forum, then why can't she paint a sign right next to the BLM sign reading 'MAGA 2020?' And so, she went to her city officials and requested to paint the sign, but rather than grant her request, the city officials just decided to erase the BLM sign. Why Some Wrongly Think Jesus Favors Socialism

Economist and author Lawrence W. Reed is pushing back against arguments that Jesus was a "socialist" and refuted the ideas of Christian socialism while speaking with conservative Christian radio host Eric Metaxas. Reed, president emeritus of the Foundation for Economic Education, authored the June 2020 book Was Jesus a Socialist?: Why This Question Is Being Asked Again, and Why the Answer Is Almost Always Wrong. He pushed back against those that blend the ideas of Christianity with left-wing economic policies that tend to focus on higher taxation and more welfare benefits for the underserved populations. For those of us who are into baseball, the past few months of lockdown purgatory have relegated us to watching reruns of old little league games as we looked forward to the opening of the season. In no way could we have ever been prepared for what we were about to witness on that surreal July 2020 start date. Pre-game ceremonies force-fed us a political menu. The emotionally charged images included a video featuring the voice of famed Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman, which popped up on our TV screens to deliver a social justice message. Joe Biden Panders to Both Islam and China

"I wish we taught more in our schools about the Muslim faith," Biden told them. But surely he knows that the federal Department of Education already pushes a 5th-12th grade education lesson plan that has American children reading The Quran and Muslim prayers. Do not hold your breath waiting for a President Biden to protect the world's largest group of persecuted Muslims - more than a million Chinese Uyghur Muslims held in concentration camps and sold as slave laborers by China to make products for Apple, Nike, and other companies. In the midst of what could very well turn out to be a second American civil war, or even the end of the United States as a free republic, Joe Biden is preoccupied with getting our schools to proselytize for Islam more intensively than they already do. Antonio Sabato, Jr. Launches a Conservative Movie Studio

Actor Antonio Sabato, Jr. has come to the conclusion that conservative creatives need an alternative place to make the kind of movies and other entertainment product that are now banned by uber-woke Hollywood. In a recent post on his Twitter account, Sabato revealed his plans for an alternative entertainment company. "We are putting together a plan to create a conservative movie studio for all patriots to do projects that Hollywood would never do," Sabato wrote. "No more blacklisting and no more injustice from the socialist elites." Is There Science Behind Their Decisions?

Because of the seriousness of a pandemic, it is important that the citizenry be able to trust the government. As I look at the science, I'm concerned about the justification of the recent actions and if there is any science behind these decisions. In a recent paper in the British Medical Journal, it is pointed out that in a study of 149 countries, there was an estimated 13% decrease in the incidence of COVID with lockdowns, restrictions on mass gatherings, workplace closures and school closures. While not a large "flattening of the curve," it did help in certain areas of this country, specifically the northeast, and it was important to prevent the overloading of healthcare resources. But the issue of continued closures given the significant cost to all the citizens, is more problematic. And the mask mandate is even more problematic. I could only find one study that "suggested" that wearing masks can slow the spread by 0.9% to 2%. Our leaders must be honest with us and we must question the basis of their decisions. [more...]

The gift has been rejected by the radicals and racists who have taken over New York and hate beauty. The sidewalks have been defaced, everything is covered in graffiti, and the sacred ground over which the grass lies is littered with tents, sleeping bags, and soiled with worse things by Occupy City Hall. NeverTrump Parasites Won't Give Up on Destroying Their Host

The past several days have been filled with accolades and attention for NeverTrump, the wee collection of self-proclaimed “conservatives” working against the president, in the corporate media. The Washington Post published a lengthy puff piece on two new nonprofits that are targeting not just President Trump but Trump-supporting Republican senators up for re-election. Post reporters, without evidence, referred to NeverTrump as a “sudden campaign force” that should make Team Trump shudder with fear.

Frank Bruni, far from a conservative or anything close to one, swooned over NeverTrumpers in his latest New York Times column. “That’s why, when I look at them, I see patriotism,” Bruni cooed. That’s funny - most people on the Right, when they look at NeverTrump, see a sad collection of losing campaign managers, failed magazine editors, and third-rate pundits hanging on for dear life by giving the false impression a big chunk of Republicans oppose Donald Trump. When President Trump looks at them, he sees “human scum.” And when Democrats see NeverTrump, they see useful idiots.

How to Fix our Broken Healthcare System

As a physician, I need to look at the X-rays before I can tell you what's broken. I have seen into our healthcare system in the military, in civilian hospitals, in insurance policies, and in Congress. The maze of bureaucracy makes it almost impossible for citizens, corporations, and even lawmakers to navigate the system - and that's just in one hospital. That's why it takes an expert outsider to tell Washington the diagnosis and suggest a plan for how to fix our broken system. Networks are as strong or fragile as the individual nodes which they are composed of, and that means taking a personalized view of how people look at government. Returning to personal representation is one way that the government can be used in a sustainable way to meet the needs of individuals without overwhelming the system. Antifa 'Ringleader' and BLM Activists Arrested as Trump and the GOP Begin to CRUSH the Far Left

As a result of President Trump's efforts, we are beginning to see mass arrests that are striking at the heart of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. The Justice Department announced late last week that they had arrested four men suspected in a failed vandalism attempt targeting the Andrew Jackson statue in D.C.'s Lafayette Square. In the process, federal prosecutors arrested what they're calling a 'ringleader' of Antifa who was involved in trying to pull down the Andrew Jackson statue. In Utah, a BLM activist, Jesse Taggart was arrested and charged with attempted aggravated murder, aggravated assault and rioting. In Des Moines, Iowa, law enforcement officers began arresting BLM demonstrators on the state capitol grounds. Police used pepper spray to disperse the crowd which was indeed successfully disbanded. While Coca-Cola pounds the Black Lives Matter pulpit, it’s got a present-day slavery problem. The Congressional-Executive Commission on China had released a report in March on China's forced labor practices. That report led to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act which, among others, named Coca Cola and Nike. Why did the media bury the story? Because it had bad things to say about its advertisers. The CECC report and the accompanying legislation noted that Coca-Cola, Adidas, Calvin Klein, the Campbell Soup Company, Costco, Esprit, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Patagonia, and Nike were among those companies suspected of complicity in China's forced labor camps. Boosted by recent public endorsements from conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh and President Donald Trump, David Horowitz's latest book, "BLITZ," has climbed onto the most recent New York Times bestseller list. BLITZ: Trump Will Smash the Left and Win appeared at No. 14 on The Times' nonfiction print hardcover list. During the same week Bookscan reports that "BLITZ" outsold six titles on The Times list with higher rankings. Publisher's Weekly listed "BLITZ" in its top 10 bestsellers, and the book has already been a number one Amazon bestseller.

Coronavirus Drug Cost - Ignore the Critics

Last week, Gilead Sciences announced that it would sell a five-day course of its coronavirus drug, remdesivir, for just over $3,100. The antiviral, currently the only medication proven to speed recovery from COVID-19, received FDA approval in May. Some Democratic lawmakers and policy experts attacked remdesivir's price as soon as it was announced. They claim that Gilead could sell the drug for as little as $1 per dose – and that the higher price reflects nothing more than the pharmaceutical company's desire to capitalize on the crisis. Roughly eighty percent of the population are sheep: normal, everyday folks who try not to think about all the bad and evil stuff in the world and just go about their lives hoping everything will be okay. Then you have the ten percent of the population that are wolves. These are the bad guys: the rapists, child molesters, kidnappers, murderers, sex traffickers, big pharma, and way too many politicians. They are the ones who want to control, terrorize, and kill the sheep. And finally, you have the sheepdog who is the protector. Just one sheepdog can protect an entire herd of helpless sheep. Think long and hard about the sheep, the wolf, and the sheepdog and how it translates into your current circle of influence. Are you running around with a bunch of sheep, going through the motions and just getting through life? Are you hanging out with wolves, hurting innocent people and doing no good? Or, are you friends with sheepdogs, who hold you accountable and expect greatness and consistency out of you? The New York Times' recent article "Racial Justice Groups Flooded with Millions in Donations in Wake of Floyd Death" covers the torrent of donations flowing into the Black Lives Matter movement with ActBlue as a major facilitator. ActBlue reported in May that it processed a record $177.9 million in monthly donations, which resulted in a 180% increase over 2019 - an unprecedented amount of charitable and political donations thanks to the Black Lives Matter hyper-activism. Charitable giving should focus on redressing the damage done to the victims because of the rioters looting and destroying property. Unfortunately, many hustlers will take advantage of the public's goodwill to solicit for a fictitious charity, accept donations not intended for its purposes, or promote antisocial behavior. Julian Assange, confined in a London prison for months, has repeatedly suggested he can prove Seth Rich, not Russia, stole the DNC e-mails in 2010 – a conclusion that if proved would expose the U.S. intelligence agency as complicit in the "Russia collusion" coup d'etat hoax. On June 24, the U.S. Department of Justice issued a second superseding indictment of Julian Assange that merely added new allegations to the existing 18-count indictment. Congress Was Briefed on COVID-19 in June of 2019

For decades, we were unprepared for a pandemic. Politicians on both sides of the aisle were briefed on it, again and again. We need people in policy roles that understand what the subject matter experts are saying, not career politicians with no real-life experience. Congress was even briefed on the potential for a pandemic like COVID back in June of 2019 and failed to act. Congress was too busy being stuck in gridlock to do anything about it. As Colorado's congressman, I will treat these warnings like I would with a patient. Remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Sustainable government requires that we don't overload the legislative process by bills that will not pass muster in a bicameral legislature that is controlled by different parties. Partisan solutions to our problems is worse than going nowhere fast- it’s driving the debate in reverse. Protesters Attack America's National Anthem

Leftists this Fourth of July have expanded their toppling of statues of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson to include burning America’s flag, and targeting our state flags and national anthem. They would kill our anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner," because its author Francis Scott Key, a slave owner, described African-Americans as an "inferior race of people." Even before recent protests, our anthem could get you arrested at airports for singing its terrorizing lyrics about "rockets red glare" and "bombs bursting in air." Ours is the only national anthem to begin and end with questions: "Oh, say, can you see?" and "Does that star-spangled banner yet wave o're the land of the free and the home of the brave?" Trump Not Giving Up on Obamacare Repeal

The Trump administration recently filed a legal brief in support of the 18 states petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn Obamacare. The action has drawn sharp criticism, most notably from presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, who called it a "heartless crusade" during a campaign stop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. But in its 10 years, Obamacare has driven healthcare costs skyward and spent vast sums of taxpayer money while still leaving millions of people uninsured.
