The War is Not About Palestine
By Robert Spencer, Author of Antisemitism: History and Myth
If there was no Israel, would there really be peace?
Even at
this late date, many people in the West still think "a two-state solution,"
with Israel and Palestine living side by side in peace, will end the conflict
in the Middle East. Yet Muslim clerics have for years made it clear that this
is not true. A Qatari sheikh, Muhammad Al-Muraikhi, stated this plainly on Qatar TV in 2009: "We do not
treat the Jews as our enemies just because they occupied Palestine," he
explained, "or because they occupied a precious part of our Arab and
Islamic world. We will treat the Jews as our enemies even if they return
Palestine to us, because they are infidels. They rejected Allah and His
messengers." [more...]
Has Hollywood Finally Decided to Celebrate and Not Eviscerate Christianity?
By Greg Rabidoux, Award-Winning Filmmaker, Author
& Cultural Commentator
Ironic, isn't it? This past weekend, while Snow White was
getting buried in an avalanche of bad reviews, bad box office, and bad karma,
two films that cost a small fraction of Disney's cave-dwelling fantasy, A
Working Man, and The Chosen: Last Supper were proving to be more
popular and much more profitable. Long before The Chosen franchise, Roma
Downey's Touched by an Angel (1994-2003) again should have shown, if
anyone was paying attention, that faith-based films didn't suddenly become
trendy, they always have been. Sometimes, even in Hollywood, you just gotta
have faith. [more...]
When Christian Leaders Are More Concerned with What the World
Thinks Than with What the Bible Says
By John
G. West, Author of STOCKHOLM SYNDROME CHRISTIANITY:
Why America's Christian Leaders Are Failing - and What We Can Do About It
In my new book, I argue that embracing the very forces that endanger
you has taken root among many American Christians, especially those in
influential positions. It’s not a case of literal captivity with locked doors
and armed guards. Instead, it’s a cultural captivity, where believers find
themselves in a society that sees traditional Christian teachings as backward,
divisive, or even hateful. Rather than face scorn or rejection, some Christian
leaders have begun to take on the attitudes and beliefs of the broader culture.
They call it relevance or open-mindedness, but I suggest that it is more like
spiritual surrender. Instead of engaging with the culture, they are being
swallowed by it. [more...]
Tesla Owners Never Saw This One Coming
By Scott Powell, Author of Rediscovering America
The war on Elon Musk and Tesla is driven by far more than
politics. One thing is for sure: Tesla owners never saw this one coming. After
all, Tesla fans are generally predisposed to embrace climate change and much of
the Green New Deal - positions with large support among people on the left.
Owning a Tesla is supposedly a statement of virtue signaling that you are doing
your part to save the environment. Owners of Teslas are more likely to vote
Democrat than Republican. So why would Tesla dealerships and Tesla owners be
targeted for destruction? And who are these radical property destroyers? If we have
learned anything in the last ten or fifteen years - particularly highlighted by
the $2 billion destruction of national urban properties that came about after
the police detention death of George Floyd in May 2025 - it is that destructive
riots are not organically spontaneous. The trigger events for riots are
understood well in advance, and once the trigger event happens, the riot plan
gets executed and implemented. [more...]
France’s Leading Opposition Candidate Jailed and Banned
By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies
Democratic values are being implemented in Europe yet again.
Macron pulled every dirty trick in the book to hang on to power. Now there’s
yet another trick of the banana republic kind. The judge sentencing Marine Le
Pen accused her of "a democratic bypass," but it’s pretty obvious
who’s bypassing democracy here. I’m not Le Pen’s biggest fan, but she and her
party had been steadily gaining momentum. And while I’m not an expert on French
law, the issue here is that her aides were being paid with EU funds but were
seen as working for her party rather than the EU. And that’s something I
suspect is routine in Euro politics. [more...]
Supreme Court Decision in VanDerStok Case - Pluses and Minuses
By John Lott,
Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime
A copy of the Supreme Court’s decision in the VanDerStok case
is available here. This case was a regulatory
issue, not a Constitutional question. This was not a Second Amendment case. The
decision contains some positive news as well as some negative news. On the
positive side, the court did not accept the Biden administration’s argument
that AR-15 receivers could be readily converted into machine guns. On the
negative side, the court accepted the arguments regarding serial numbers on gun
parts and also the convertability of gun parts, though the ruling was fairly
narrow. [more...]
AI is a Digital Ouija Board
By James
Hirsen, NY Times Bestselling Author, International Business
Attorney, News Analyst & Cultural Commentator
It seems as though a lot of prominent tech experts are feeling
uneasy about the possibility of AI going awry. Some have even called for a
pause in AI development. Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, experienced what he
called a "very strange extreme [AI] vertigo." Casey Newton, former
senior editor of The Verge, discovered that certain individuals who are
working with AI are having nightmares about it. Something dark seems to be
hovering around some of those who are involved with AI’s development. Many of
us have come to realize that technology is in no way a replacement for
the people in our lives. Yet many users of AI are routinely
involved with replacement people in the form of AI models that
produce human-like characteristics. [more...]
