Should the Pentagon Defend America against Arctic
Ice or ISIS?
Climate
change is in the news again. This time because the president is requiring
the Pentagon to monitor shrinking arctic ice levels. Is it more important
to focus our military resources on so-called climate change? Or, should
our limited military resources instead be directed against global terrorism,
ISIS, potential EMP attacks and other national security threats? Does ISIS
threaten America because of a heat wave in the Middle East or a cold winter
somewhere in their world? Can a hurricane launch an EMP Attack against
Miami? Of course not. Climate
change (if it even exists) is not a national security threat. [Go here for a complete analysis...]
A
Patriot's Call to Arms against Republican "Leadership"
By
Crista

Republican
Party “leadership” has declared war on its Congresspeople who vote “NO” on Fast
Track-related procedures and legislation. Here are the names of some of our
brave patriots in Washington, D.C. who are standing up to those who would give
away United States' sovereignty via secretly-negotiated agreements such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement and the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA). These Congresspeople are being aggressively
retaliated against by Speaker Boehner and his allies. [more...]

The
words racist, homophobe and hater all have specific meanings and are to be
applied to very specific situations. It used to be if you were labeled with one
of those words, you needed to check yourself. They have now become a simple
bullying tool for the Left to get the weak-spined. We now teach our kids that
there are no more boys and girls; gender neutrality is good because it gives
you time to figure out what gender you want to be when you get older. Oh, and
you can CHANGE it any time you want! Colleges are now asking that you not call
each other Miss or Sir, young lady or young man. But they also haven't really
given any clear direction as to what to call each other. There are no more
definitive lines. [more...]

Trump is a Real Contender

Trump's
initial platform contains several policy ideas that may potentially resonate
with Republican primary voters, including an Affordable Care Act repeal and
replacement, the prevention of a further forfeiture of U.S. jobs to China, and
a tougher stance against ISIS. Distinguishing himself from the political class,
Trump says, "I've watched the politicians. I've dealt with them all my
life. They will never make America great again." [more...]

Donald
Trump did not enter the presidential race like most other candidates - and
that’s a good thing. In an era of career politicians and canned, rhetoric-heavy
speeches, Trump brings with him a level of candor and business experience new
to the political landscape. While Trump’s announcement speech was no doubt loud
and perhaps a bit abrasive in parts, it was truly genuine. Trump is addressing
key issues in the nation head on, and not couching them in comfortable
political-double talk like many other presidential hopefuls. [more...]
Trump
- The Right Man at the Right Time
Donald Trump is flawed; but, ironically, he may be the
perfect candidate at the perfect time. Why? Because he says whatever is on his
mind. He has no filters. He doesn't care about political correctness. He doesn't
answer to anyone - not donors, not handlers, not consultants, not pollsters and,
God bless him, not the media. Donald Trump is his own man. He says whatever he
wants because he is worth $9 billion. He doesn't need any donations. He doesn't
need the support of fat cat donors or multi-national corporations like the
other GOP candidates. [more...]

I have friends that I admire greatly who are very vocally
involved in Black Lives Matter. Those local leaders are very upset by the Mother
Emanuel murders but believe in peaceful protest, not vandalism. When certain
outsiders descended on Charleston after the Scott murder, the local leaders
took charge and the outsiders left. Racism is racism whatever the color,
profession, national origin, religion or political perspective. In response to
the vandalizing of the confederate statue at Charleston Park - protesting legally is necessary at times; however, desecrating history
without proper protest is never justified. Black lives matter but so do white
lives, rainbow lives, and lives of any color, race, or faith.[more...] Howard Comen is a Board Member of Interfaith Partners of SC
