Scalia’s Passing, Politics and the Unions
By Dave Bego
The unfortunate and untimely passing of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has Big Labor bosses and their liberal political allies cheering. Scalia would have been the decisive vote in a major Supreme Court decision affecting labor unions scheduled for this June. Justice Scalia’s influence would have impacted big labor and the union bosses, as he most likely would have voted in favor of union members in the Friedrichs v. California Teachers Association. The case involves a California teacher who claims her First Amendment rights have been violated by having to pay union dues, even though she isn’t a member of the union. [more...]
Significant Problems with the TPP
By Crista Huff
The TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) requires each participating country to give up a large degree of sovereignty, not unlike what took place when European countries joined the European Union. It becomes apparent that this trade agreement was written by and for people who have more of a globalist, “one world order” agenda. I cannot fathom how any U.S. patriot would ever vote “yes” on the TPP. The TPP is a “living agreement.” Its content can and will be altered by global courts and a global commission, forever. The U.S. does not have the legal power to say “no” to any decision made by those entities. The TPP is a “docking” agreement. Additional countries may dock onto (i.e. “join”) the TPP, after it’s ratified, without Congress’ consent. Sen. Ted Cruz specifically voted against requiring Congress’ consent! Only a simple majority vote of member countries is needed, for a country to join the TPP. China has been encouraged to join the TPP, most notably by Hillary Clinton. John Kerry welcomed both Communist China and Russia to join the TPP. Docking countries could include enemies of the U.S.; even countries with which we are at war. [more...]
SC - An Important Battleground State
By Dr. Gerard Lameiro
Why is the SC primary so contentious? The stakes are high. As I discuss in my new book, Great News for America, the 2016 election is an historic and critical presidential election. Historic means that the voter turnout will be very high. Critical means that we can expect both political parties to face realignments that are major. Saturday’s debate was contentious and filled with animosity precisely because the stakes are so high. The end of the Republican Party as we have known it is coming soon. The fight is on for the heart, soul and mind of the newly constituted party that will take its place. We have seen the Republican presidential candidate pool drop from 17 individuals to now just 6. The candidates are literally fighting for their survival and the future of the Republican Party and what it will become. [Go here for a complete analysis...]
Obama Holds Secret Meeting with Hollywood Donors
By James Hirsen
Following a number of recent Left Coast fundraising stops, President Obama got down to business at a late night dinner meeting with some key members of the Hollywood elite. Not only was the get-together with DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, chairman of Walt Disney Studios Alan Horn, and A-list actor Will Smith not on Obama’s public schedule, it was also intentionally kept from the press. The White House failed to make mention of the meeting to reporters who were traveling with the president as he made his way to fundraising events and a television studio in Los Angeles. [more...]
The Link Between Falling Markets, Falling Political Establishments and Rising Gold
By Lowell Ponte
We may be witnessing a revolution to restore integrity to both our money and our politics. Stock prices since the start of 2016 have been plummeting, and gold is soaring, as people lose faith in the powers that conjured a fake prosperity based on paper money, politicized markets and zero interest rates. Voters in the U.S. are rejecting candidates of the old ruling elites in both major political parties. Candidates who promise to overthrow these elites, such as businessman Donald Trump and Texas Senator Ted Cruz, are winning big. [more...]
Nevada Predictions
By Wayne Allyn Root
Here is my prediction for the Nevada caucus: Trump wins by double digits. Nevada is the perfect secular conservative & Libertarian "live & let live" state for Trump. Up until now, there have been few if any polls taken in Nevada. Theory was until Iowa and NH were over, it didn't matter. Opinions were too fluid. Now opinions are formed. I just saw the latest poll for Nevada... backs up everything my gut has been saying: Trump is up 43 to 15... landslide. [more...]
How Will the Death of Justice Scalia Impact the Presidential Campaign?
By John LeBoutillier
Will the sudden death of Justice Scalia change the POTUS race? Is The Donald now firmly in control of the GOP nomination battle? Can Ted Cruz win in South Carolina next Saturday? How much trouble is Hillary in politically? Why is the Obama Administration releasing/leaking news items on her legal problems the day before each primary, caucus or debate? This - and more - will be discussed by the POLITICAL INSIDERS – live on Fox News Channel this Sunday evening – at 7:30 PM ET. [more...]
Trump is Still Trumping the Competition
By Michelle Seiler-Tucker
Following a decisive victory in New Hampshire, Donald Trump is poised for an easy win in South Carolina. In the Granite State, Trump won every single demographic: the wealthy, the working class, women, men, those with college and graduate school education, those without, etc. Now, according to Real Clear Politics’ composite polls for South Carolina, Trump currently carries a 20% lead over Ted Cruz. Barring scandal or an unprecedented come-back story, the GOP race is among Rubio, Cruz, and Trump, with The Donald still the unrelenting leader. [more...]
