The Workaholic in Chief

Welcome to a new administration and a new political paradigm. Donald Trump is the first workaholic president since LBJ. He is said to be up working till all hours of the night, subsisting on just 4 hours of sleep. He starts his days off at 5:30 am setting the news cycle with a barrage of tweets, and then it’s on to more important matters. This is in stark contrast to the prior White House occupant who was more often found on the golf course, watching ESPN in his second-floor study and generally doing everything in his power to avoid putting in a full day at the office, Oval or otherwise. “W” was home at the residence by 9 pm cuddling up with Laura; and Bill Clinton was too busy chasing skirts or hob-knobbing with the rich and famous to ever take the office too seriously.
