Real Congressional Probe of Obama Surveillance Tactics Sorely Needed

Lost in the mainstream media push to have the public accept the tall tale that “the Russians hacked the election,” which appears to have been crafted by disaffected Democrats and their far-left allies, is a series of unresolved issues that are in serious need of investigation. House Intelligence Committee chair Devin Nunes recently told Fox that he has seen no evidence to show that Trump Tower had been wiretapped. “Was there a physical wiretap of Trump Tower? No, there never was,” Nunes said, adding that “if you take the president literally, it didn’t happen.” Chiefly ignored by the media, however, was a statement that Nunes had made in which he noted that he remains concerned about “other surveillance activities.” The truth is, it is not just Nunes that should be concerned, but rather every American. Was President Barack Obama Blackmailed by Russia?

While taking part in a nuclear summit in South Korea in March 2012, a hot microphone picked up the voice of a deeply worried Barack Obama. The President leaned over, placed his hand on Russian President Dimitri Medvedev’s right forearm, and held tight. Obama whispered, “This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.”

Medvedev placed his hand on top of Obama’s and assured him, “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir. I stand with you.” This chilling exchange was not a scene from a Cold War inspired spy movie where an American President is being blackmailed by evil Russkies. It was real. President Obama was promising Russian policy would become American policy in exchange for “space,” he needed just a little more time. In response, “good cop” Medvedev indicated he would put in the good word with “bad cop” Vladimir, “I stand with you.”

Obamacare - Do You Amputate the Leg to Save the Patient?

The media has omitted the fact that Obamacare has been an abomination for the American middle class. The vast majority of Americans have been badly damaged by Obamacare; they’ve lost their quality of life. Like me, their health insurance went from $500 per month to almost $2,000; and this obscenely priced insurance now covers very few healthcare bills. So, when you factor in the bills not covered, our healthcare bills are actually more like six times higher because of Obamacare. And that’s precisely why the economy is in freefall. The full 2016 GDP was a miserable 1.6%. But the first quarter 2017 GDP is now projected at 0.9%. Obamacare is strangling the nation, killing the economy, destroying middle class jobs. 0.9%...  Just let that number sink in for a minute. Trump or not, the economy is melting down. We are in reverse. Quicksand. Disaster looms if we don't act fast. Obamacare is the gangrene. [more...]

After Comey’s Testimony, What Do We Know?

Washington has been waiting to hear Comey’s testimony this week before the House Intelligence Committee. On Monday, both FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency (NSA) Director Mike Rogers testified. Unfortunately, Comey’s testimony didn’t answer all the questions clearly and concisely. In fact, many questions still remain. In addition, there is no timeline given for resolution of those questions. Weaning Dependents is Always Hard

Now that there are threats of cuts coming, we have all these fake headlines: “Meals on wheels being cut,” “Many federal science programs to be cut,” “Kids in schools will lose their lunch programs,” and “Transportation and security for many government facilities will suffer.” Do Democrats really think this is working? And what about the many duplicate or outdated programs that are still receiving money? Change is painful.
