Horowitz: Dems Fuel Hate, Not Trump

By David Horowitz

The anti-God, anti-religious left calling out President Trump for the spate of anti-Semitic attacks should be pointing the finger at themselves and the liberal colleges that fund Jewish hatred. Donald Trump is the greatest friend Jews have ever had in the White House. He did what three presidents, [Bill] Clinton, [George W.] Bush, [Barack] Obama, promised to do but didn't have the balls to do, which was to move the American embassy to Jerusalem, which is the capital. [more...]

David Horowitz, who is Jewish, is author of "Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America," which calls out liberal agendas that diminish religion and threaten the fabric of American society.

Democrats Bluffin'
By Karen Kataline

Pelosi continues to "threaten" to hold back the filing of two junk Articles of Impeachment the House rushed to pass before Christmas on the phony premise that Donald Trump is a threat to life as we know it. Actually, he continues to be a threat to life as they know it. Pelosi pretends that the Republican-controlled Senate actually wants what she and the Democrats have been selling. Given her previous remarks not so long ago, we can do more than speculate that she didn’t want impeachment either. [more...]

Soros's War Against the Jews
By Daniel Greenfield

As one of the wealthiest men around, George Soros was a man hiding from god by playing god. His shameful secret lay in the God and His people whom he had sinned against. The family’s Jewish origins were Soros’ secret shame. Schwartz, a Jewish family, were dead. They had been replaced by the Soros clan. George, who had once had a Bar Mitzvah, had been reborn a Nazi collaborator. And then, after the excitement of the war, he washed up as just another refugee in the UK. It wasn’t the Holocaust that had traumatized Soros, but the aftermath of being a nobody. [more...]

Disney Rules Over a Declining Box Office
By James Hirsen

Despite some blockbuster hits, Hollywood’s box office continues on its downward trend as 2019 comes to a close. Domestic revenues are expected to fall nearly 4 percent by year’s end; this according to The Hollywood Reporter. The box-office total of this past fall not only constitutes the sharpest decline in five years, it is also the fifth downturn this decade. Executives in Hollywood are assuming that the decline is mostly due to new home entertainment technology and the rise of streaming services, including Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. [more...]

Separating Stock Market Facts from "Malarkey"
By Crista Huff

It is a ridiculous idea to stare at the bond market and guess whether a recession is coming when there are a few basic, readily available economic statistics that clearly tell investors how the economy is doing. I’m extremely familiar with the malarkey that people hear and believe about the stock market, and I’m sick of it all. So, today’s rant is about truth vs. malarkey, and how to tell the difference between stock market facts and stock market fiction. Here are some random, popular media topics that are consistently wrong... [more...]

Progressivism's 'Godless' Religion
By Lowell Ponte

Even the Pope now agrees that Christianity is fading in Europe and much of the West. But as the Wall Street Journal notes, Pope Francis has traded traditional Christianity for what nowadays is called the "social gospel" of politics - economic equality, immigrant rights and global warming - as if government held the key to human spiritual needs. This is now the "religion" of the Progressive Left; and, make no mistake, Marxism and fascism and other philosophies metastasized from Progressivism are not mere ideologies but pseudo-religions, cults bent on destroying and replacing rival religions such as Judaism and Christianity. 'Christianity Today' Becomes a Tool of the Left
By James Hirsen

Although a lot of people link “Christianity Today” with evangelical Christian ideology, the magazine’s editor, Mark Galli, recently nixed that idea with a click of his keyboard. Galli penned a column that appeared to be written with the goal in mind of putting grins on the faces of leftists and garnering gobs of attention from the Trump-hating faction of the media. Whether the above stated goal was mapped out or not, the end result was the same. The magazine’s image took a hit, the president was unfairly maligned, and the liberal media ate it all up. My Best Stock Picks from 2019
By Crista Huff

As we approach a new year, it’s time to reflect on what we accomplished in 2019, what’s left to do, and our hopes and dreams and goals for 2020. Those thoughts will differ, whether you’re focused on your family, your job or your golf handicap. For me, those thoughts focus heavily on stock picking, because December is the busiest month of the year for me. There’s a lot of forecasting involved. What will the major stock and economic trends be in 2020 and how can I position my stock portfolio to best capitalize on those opportunities? [more...]

Pelosi's Impeachment Games
By Lowell Ponte

You might have thought that the impeachment games that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat comrades have been playing during the holidays were designed to declare President  Trump "impeached," but, by refusing to transmit the House indictment to the Senate, they could deny President Trump any chance to be found "not guilty" by the Senate. Days ago, one of the main "impeachers," Adam Schiff, also "declared war" (according to the London Daily Mail) on Vice President Pence regarding a phone call Pence had with Ukrainian President Zelensky. This makes the impeachment game much, much bigger. How much? On September 2, 2018, my column here was titled "Are You Ready for 'President' Nancy Pelosi?" [more...]

Too Many Republicans Playing Defense
By Karen Kataline

Republican activists are debating among themselves about what the Senate’s next move should be if the Democrat majority in the House sends them two articles of impeachment. Should they take the ball and run with it by holding a full Senate or decline to hold a hearing at all and expect to score points by throwing the ball away? This could be one of the greatest opportunities for political theater and civics education in our lifetimes, but I fear that too many Republicans will remain comfortable playing defense, even when they finally get the ball. Court Ruling Leaves Problem Plagued ObamaCare's Future Unknown
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

ObamaCare's much-hated requirement that every American carry health insurance or pay a penalty was ruled unconstitutional in a 2-1 decision by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. That’s the right decision on a badly flawed law, but it won't change anything for months or more likely years as the case continues to slowly wind its way through the courts. The big question facing the courts – which will be decided eventually by the U.S. Supreme Court – is whether the rest of ObamaCare can survive without what’s known as the individual mandate that everyone get health insurance. How to Steal an Airplane
By Jeff Ferry, Chief Economist

In April 2018, a Chinese intelligence agent named Xu Yanjun got off a plane in Brussels, Belgium for a meeting with one of his assets, a U.S.-based General Electric engineer. The plan was to discuss what confidential aerospace design information the engineer could steal from GE to turn over to Xu. The meeting was a sting operation. Instead of a friendly drink, Xu was greeted by a team of Belgian police and FBI agents from the U.S. They clapped him in handcuffs and escorted him to a Belgian jail, He was kept there, incommunicado so he could not converse with his superiors in Nanjing, for six months. In October 2018 he was extradited by Belgium to stand trial in the U.S. on four counts of industrial espionage including theft of trade secrets, paying a GE engineer to pass trade secrets to Chinese officials, and attempting to steal trade secrets by fraud, artifice, and deception. This investigation exposed an unusually wide-ranging industrial spying conspiracy by China, targeting at least 13 different U.S. and international companies. In this case, China broke down an important industrial project, the C919 passenger jet plane, into all its major components and subsystems, and systematically targeted the western companies producing each one. [more...]

U.S. Leftists Ignore UK Elections
By James Hirsen

The recent landslide election triumph of Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson may prove to be an accurate predictor of what is likely to happen in U.S. elections come 2020. The same hatred that has held Democrats in its bitter grip since President Trump first took to the political stage is the same rage that is likely to blind them to the lesson that is there in the UK election results. Much like their denial after President Trump’s watershed victory, the left in America cannot accept the results of the UK election either. Leftists are already following the same pattern of rationalization, falsification and resistance that was exhibited in 2016 and thereafter. Most of What Congress Does Every Day is an 'Abuse of Power'
By Lowell Ponte

Democrats are trying to impeach President Trump without finding any crime of the type Alexander Hamilton said should be needed. Without such a high and well-defined crime, impeachment is merely a political ouster, a coup d'etat that one party can use to destroy a president of a different party. For Democrats to try charging Mr. Trump with "abuse of power" and "obstruction of congress," as they are now doing, is absurd. The Constitution's "Enumerated Powers" clause (Article I, Section 8) specifies the only things the federal government is permitted to do. But today probably 80 percent of what the government does is outside these limited powers - and hence is an "abuse of power." [more...]

Obama Signals a Possible Run for Michelle
By Karen Kataline

Under the headline, "Time for Women to Run the World," the New York Daily News reported on a speech delivered by Barack Obama at a "private event in Singapore." Since the Kamala Harris campaign recently crashed and burned, the Left has been without their preferred candidate who checks the correct boxes for which they’ve been preparing for years: black and female. If you work backwards to that conclusion, you can see how they’ve been priming that pump. They have been building up their "women are oppressed... Me Too" movement and "Trump is a Mysogynist," etc. for years now. Thus, Obama may be signaling a presidential run for Michelle. That may have been the plan all along. [more...]

The Term "Palestinian" Has Been Invented

The Palestinian Delusion: The Catastrophic History of the Middle East Peace Process demonstrates conclusively that the term "Palestinian" has been invented. This meticulously documented and comprehensive book is a treasure for anyone wishing to learn the truth of the Palestinian and Israeli conflict. Robert Spencer methodically demonstrates time after time that the Jews conclusively, not only have the right to live in their ancestral homeland, but the term “Palestinian” has been invented. It may sound disturbing to some who have not taken the time to study historical facts. However, Spencer has carefully tied various historical origins with current events that provide facts and understanding about what is happening in our present time. [more...]

Black Nationalist Hate Group Praised by Media Shot Up Kosher Market
By Daniel Greenfield

The odd accent to city life in Jersey City came amid a hail of bullets as two members of the racist black nationalist hate group opened fire in the JC Supermarket. Despite initial claims by the media and the authorities that the Jewish market had not been targeted, David Anderson and Francine Graham ignored passersby on MLK Dr., to get to the store and kill as many Jewish people as they could. The media whitewash of the racist Black Israelites had come during the Covington Catholic case when the Washington Post, among other papers, had falsely blamed the pro-life students for a confrontation that actually began when members of the nationalist hate group had begun calling them, "crackers," "faggots," and "pedophiles." Sanders, Warren want 'Medicare-for-all' like Canada, But Canadian Health Care is Awful
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

Democratic presidential candidates Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren want you to believe Canada’s health care system is a dream come true. And they want to make the dream even better with their "Medicare-for-all" plans. Don't believe them. In truth, Canada's system of socialized medicine is actually a nightmare. It has left hospitals overcrowded, understaffed and unable to treat some patients. Americans would face the same dismal reality if Canadian-style "Medicare-for-all" takes root here. [more...]

U.S. October Trade Deficit Reaches 18-Month Low
By Jeff Ferry, Chief Economist

The U.S. international trade deficit in goods and services fell 7.6 percent in October, to $47.2 billion, as imports declined more than exports. This is the lowest monthly trade deficit figure since May 2018. The October decrease is due to a $3.7 billion drop in the goods deficit, to $68.0 billion, and an increase in the services surplus of $0.2 billion, to $20.8 billion. The fall in our monthly trade deficit, to under $50 billion for the first time in 17 months, combined with the 15 percent drop in our year-to-date China trade deficit, shows the Trump administration’s tariff policies are working. The U.S. economy continues to grow, consumer spending is growing, and inflation remains subdued. If we keep imports in check, we provide more demand for U.S. producers, which is the best path to growth and broadly shared prosperity. [more...]

'Jumanji' Sequel in ICE
By James Hirsen

Hollywood and its trendy urban surroundings are now acting as a laboratory of sorts for a new movie theater technology imported from France called the Immersive Cinema Experience (ICE). In the upcoming week, ICE will debut in Los Angeles with the release of the fantasy-adventure film “Jumanji: The Next Level,” which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Although it will cost movie-goers an additional $6, the ICE-equipped theater will feature luxury motor-operated leather seats, complete with built-in cell phone battery chargers. Unlike older technologies that have been installed in many movie theaters, ICE does not attempt to surround a theater-goer’s field of vision with a given movie’s actual action but instead uses sidewall panels to peripherally augment the impact of a cinematic scene. The 'White Christmas' Democrat Debate
By Lowell Ponte

So much for the Democrat Party calling itself the "party of minorities," a rainbow that "looks like America," compared to a predominantly white Republican Party. This year Democrat Party bosses have imposed rules for the number of successful polls and number of dollars raised from many donors that a candidate needs to qualify for a place in the party debates. These standards are clearly rigged. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii has been excluded by arbitrary boss decisions about which polls count and which do not - a capricious decision made AFTER Gabbard reached the number of polls with high enough numbers needed to qualify. So, as of this writing, have Latino Julian Castro, Asian-American Andrew Yang, and African-American Sen. Cory Booker. This leaves only far-leftovers with white skins to debate. [more...]

Why Do Liberals Have a God Complex?
By Karen Kataline

Leftist ideology typifies the kind of narcissistic, dictatorial parents that send many adults into therapy for twenty years. Such parents tend to discourage their kids from growing up and making their own choices and mistakes. This behavior feeds their own needs, not the needs of their children. The desire to use one’s power and resources to treat adults like children and keep them dependent is not much different, and it is anything but generous or altruistic. There is an epidemic that is being fueled by a Left that has de-educated the young in the principles of Liberty, individual freedom, and personal responsibility on which our country was proudly founded. God gave us free will but a man who thinks he’s God never does. [more...]

Democrats Stage a Phony Retreat on Medicare For All
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

Not long ago, most leading Democrats were jostling for position aboard the "Medicare for All" bandwagon. But in the last few weeks, the political winds have shifted. During an interview on Bloomberg Television, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, "I'm not a big fan of Medicare for All." New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez recently stated that he would not vote for Sen. Warren's Medicare for All plan, noting, "I'm not about to take away private insurance from the union members who have worked so hard to negotiate for it." Don't be fooled by this supposed moderation. Every plan offered by Democrats would lead to a full-fledged government takeover of our healthcare system. [more...]

Human Rights for All
By Evelyn Markus

In our respect for other cultures, we should not look away from injustices in those cultures; we should fight against injustices in any culture. After all, human rights are universal. Those who bravely stand up for human rights in their culture deserve our solidarity and support. And this is where the liberal world often makes the wrong choice. Instead of supporting heroes in their struggle for equality within their culture of origin, we dismiss them as bigots, because they criticize their culture. Instead of backing up the fight for modern developments of these women within their culture, we prefer to prove to each other we aren't racists. Yet, by denying the rights of equality of women, gays, and others, because they belong to a certain culture, we are more racist than ever. It is the moral interest of liberal people to support Muslim reformers. As a Jew and as a member of the LGBT community, it is in my own interest as well. [more...]

Nihilism, Human Waste and Human Extinction in San Francisco
By Daniel Greenfield

"I think mankind is doomed to extinction," Andres Petroselli, better known as 'Cobre', told me. Petroselli, an Argentinian muralist, has traveled around the U.S. putting up giant murals of famous people. He spent seven days working on a giant eight-story mural of Greta Thunberg in San Francisco. The location of the mural in the 94102 zip code has a more obvious environmental problem with over 23,800 cases of human waste reported in that zip code. But nobody is going to paint a mural about that. Instead, the San Francisco mural is meant to call attention to a greater global catastrophe. And how better than do so than with a lot of paint. Especially while safely in the air and away from the ground. [more...]

Why CrowdStrike May Be the Real Reason for the Impeachment Charade
By James Hirsen

A single telephone call kick-started the Democrat impeachment ruse. The call involved a conversation between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. During the inter-continental back and forth, a lone reference to a company named CrowdStrike was made. Few allies of the president have ventured to speak publicly about CrowdStrike. And in their endless indulgence in pretend journalism, the mainstream media have repeatedly tried to divert attention away from any type of substantive discussion regarding the company and the growing list of questions that seeks cover in darkness. Citizen Bloomberg
By Lowell Ponte

New Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg has a striking resemblance to the lead in Orson Welles' 1941 movie "Citizen Kane," a media baron of limitless wealth, ego, and arrogance. "Citizen Bloomberg" has already made it clear that his own media will not write anything critical of him - or of other Democratic candidates. But his empire will continue to attack President Trump. This calls the integrity and honesty of his own media into question. Other journalists will fear attacking Bloomberg because they might someday need a job with his company. Democratic rivals will fear attacking him because, even if he does not publish the dirt his reporters might have on them, his media might say nothing about them - which would hurt their chances of winning. And there's lots to criticize in Bloomberg, from his gun grabbing and nanny statist control freak efforts to regulate how much soda pop, sale, trans-fats, and other people are permitted to consume. Why Impeachment is Just Another Hoax
By Karen Kataline

Here are the reasons why it is not only okay to discount the credibility of the President's perpetual accusers, but it is necessary if we are ever to find the truth about what has been happening in our government: 1) Their stories and accusations keep changing but the players never do; 2) They never had any intention of giving the President a chance... and never even tried to fake it; 3) They feigned outrage at Trump’s slightest error, were unwilling to concede the smallest point, or acknowledge his tiniest success; 4) They took the opposite position from Trump on everything no matter how immoral or preposterous it made them appear; and 5) They assiduously ignore facts which contradict their chosen narrative. Canada's Cautionary Tale on 'Medicare for All'
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

Proponents of "Medicare for All" claim that Canada's government-run health system delivers high-quality care for a fraction of what we pay in the U.S. Presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren's campaign website, for example, praises Canada's low costs for certain procedures. In a recent interview from the campaign trail, Sen. Bernie Sanders expressed amazement that Canadians "could go to the doctor whenever they wanted and not have to take out their wallet." But a new report from the Montreal Economic Institute (MEI), an independent think tank in Canada, should throw some cold water on those assertions. The analysis exposes the many flaws of Canada's health system - from long wait times to surprisingly high costs. Many residents of our neighbor to the north leave to seek better care abroad. [more...]
