Rule number one of liberalism is never having to say you’re sorry. Never hold yourself accountable to the ridiculous dictates you impose on everyone else. But who gets to decide what words we are allowed to use? Does the mere use of a word without context automatically mean that you’re a racist? The accusation of racism has become so prevalent by the unhinged Left, that a person who simply utters what someone else said to tell a story can be branded a racist, sexist or homophobe for quoting them. Those accused can lose their livelihoods and their reputations, particularly if they happen to be conservative or liberals who have been marked for destruction. [more...]
Trump Attacks Mail-in Voting
All signs indicate mail in voting will be the end of fair
elections in the U.S. Many postal workers are leftist activists, so add one-way
bias to the list of issues: incompetence, lack of speed and efficiency,
antiquated systems. The result is a witch’s brew of poison for the election as
borne out by history, as in 2016 - the U.S. Postal Service, as a whole,
violated the Hatch Act to try to drag Hillary Clinton over the finish line. [more...]
The Dismal Prospects of Secular Liberalism
Everywhere one looks today in the West, it appears that
proponents of secular liberalism are celebrating another social victory lap.
So-called same-sex marriage, over 50 self-identifying gender options on
Facebook, lawsuits against Christian bakers and florists, 'gender neutral'
public restroom laws, abortion on demand, collectively constitute a daily
reminder that our world is changing in ways unimaginable just a few decades
back. It's no wonder that many believe that leftist progressivism is the wave
of the future. Against such a cultural backdrop, many conservatives feel
hopeless. But I believe there is an astonishing backlash currently
underway throughout the West that indicates not a defeat, but a renewal - not a
death, but a rebirth. I want to argue that we are actually seeing nothing less
than a conservative Christian resurgence in our demographics and politics that
promises not the suicide but rather the salvation of the West. [more...]
Culture is Politics and Vice Versa
By James Hirsen
In the past, the formation of American culture, even when
dominated by the left, was still occurring in a free market environment. This
is what we know as the American model, the one that allows more innovation and
creativity than any other governmental approach ever has. But now we see signs
that our nation is moving towards a new model, one that embraces
authoritarianism and seeks to implement a political agenda. It is an emerging
totalitarian model in which elected leaders impose selective lockdowns and arbitrary
mandates using public health as a pretext. A model in which the same elected
leaders allow, facilitate, and even cheer on criminal, insurrectionist, and
terrorist acts. A model that encourages the erasure of national history,
heritage, and identity in order to fit a far-left narrative. Most tragically,
it is an emerging totalitarian model that looks more like the Chinese communist
system of governance than anything previously associated with the United States
of America. [more...]
The New Racism and its Totalitarian Agenda
This violent spring and summer, two runaway best-sellers
provided the theoretical framework for the anti-white racism that lay behind
the Black Lives Matter riots. One was White
Fragility, which explains that white people are racists by birth,
regardless of anything they say, do, or intend. The other was How to Be an Antiracist by a National
Book Award recipient named Ibram X. Kendi, which The New York Times hailed as,
“The most courageous book to date on the problem of race in the Western mind."
The intellectual level and factual basis of both these highly praised books are
so low as to be bewildering. [more...]
Who is Kamala Harris?
By Lowell Ponte
"Kamala knows how to govern," said Joe Biden in
introducing his running mate. "She knows how to make the hard calls. She's
ready to do this job on day one." Harris, 55, who has been a U.S. senator
from California only since 2017, has held no other federal office. But former
Vice President Biden is 77, has suffered two brain aneurysms and serious mental
decline, and describes himself as a "transition candidate." Fifty-nine
percent of likely voters do not expect Biden to finish his four-year term if
elected president. Harris must be sold to voters as competent to captain the
ship of state if Biden falters. But who is Kamala Harris? [more...]
