Responding to our Culture's Assault on Christianity
By Dr. Erwin Lutzer, Author of We Will Not Be Silenced
Every day, it seems American society is falling further away
from Christian values and common decency and are left unsure of how to respond.
But I offer you the truth of scripture to help live out your convictions against
a growing tide of hostility. You can gain a better understanding of
nonbelievers' legitimate hurts and concerns regarding issues like racism,
sexism, and poverty - and identify the toxic responses secular culture
disguises as solutions. In the process, you'll see how you can show compassion
and gentleness to those outside of the faith without affirming their beliefs. We Will Not Be Silenced will
ready you to move beyond fear and boldly accept the challenge of representing
Christ to a watching world that needs Him now more than ever before. [more...]
Stephen Hawking Speaks from Beyond the Grave
Stephen Hawking's posthumously published book about the big
questions was really a very poignant read for me, because in it Hawking not
only reaffirmed the argument that he'd been making since 1988 in his book A
Brief History of Time but in some of his then more recent popular books in
which he kind of weighed in with the new atheists to say that there was really
no need to invoke the god hypothesis to explain the origin of the universe; and
Hawking acknowledged in this very last book which was published after his death
that he had really come to the point where he no longer believed in God at all;
he thought that the god hypothesis was an unnecessary hypothesis and that his
ideas about quantum gravity could explain the origin of the universe without
positing any pre-existing mind or creator or designing intelligence of any kind.
Read Stephen's new book, Return of the GOD Hypothesis: Three Discoveries that
Reveal the Mind Behind the Universe. [more...]
What Happened to the 10th Amendment?
By Robert Curry, author of Reclaiming Common Sense
According to the Progressives, more government is the answer,
always. For them, the constitutional limits on the power of government the
founders had so carefully crafted are actually defects which must be
eliminated. Their aim is total
government; their strategy is to achieve
total government step-by-step, progressively. Michael
Finch, the President of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, has an
excellent article over at the American Thinker making
clear where the Progressives are in their fight against the Constitution. He
identifies what the Biden administration intends to accomplish - nothing less
than completing the project of centralizing power in the federal government
begun by the Progressives over a century ago. Finch very correctly observes
that "the 10th Amendment, with its clear limitations on federal
power, has been seriously eroded over the past century," and that Biden
and his handlers intend to put an end to the remaining limitations on federal
power. [more...]
Biden Frees Al Qaeda Ally Who Plotted to Smuggle Nukes into U.S.
With inflation rising almost as fast as gas prices and the cost
of a home, Joe Biden ain't doing much for most Americans. But if you’re an Al
Qaeda terrorist, he’s got your back. Just ask three of Gitmo's finest who are
benefiting from Biden's generosity. Saifullah Paracha was a Pakistani
businessman and New York travel agent with some big plans. The Gitmo inmate now
being set loose by Biden wanted to "do something big against the U.S."

Democrats Chose the Worst Time to Revive
Medicare for All
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute
Medicare for All just won't die. More than 100
House Democrats have signed onto new legislation that would outlaw all private
insurance and put all Americans on a federally-run insurance plan within two
years. The bill’s chief sponsor, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) says
Medicare for All is the "solution" to the COVID-19 crisis and will
improve access to quality care in the long run. She could hardly be more
wrong. A complete government takeover of the U.S. health insurance system would
deprive Americans of the private coverage the vast majority of them like - and
force them to endure long waits for subpar care in exchange. [more...]
