Why Not Enforce Existing Laws Rather Than Push for New Gun
Control?
By John Lott
With the mass murder of 18 people in Maine last
week, gun control advocates are calling for more gun control laws. Right at the
top of the list is a so-called Red Flag Law. Vice President Kamala Harris
has already called for passage of Red Flag laws and an assault weapon ban.
Unfortunately, much of the gun control debate pushes proposals that would do
nothing to stop the attacks they would supposedly solve. The
disappointing thing is that this discussion shouldn’t even be needed. [more...]
Top Priorities for the New Speaker of the House
By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State
After an epic battle, we now have a new Speaker of the House. I
had no idea who Rep. Mike Johnson was; but by the way the Left
is melting down, his Nom de Guerre is now “MAGA Mike.” Here are the priorities
for the new House Speaker to make things happen and deliver results: 1) Secure
the southern and northern borders and intern all Chinese paramilitaries
immediately; 2) Immediate, 90-day impeachment inquiry focus on the Biden crime family;
and 3) Hammer the Pentagon on wokeness. [more...]
Biden's Bigtime New Hampshire Blunder May End His Campaign
By Dick Morris
Joe Biden has blundered in New Hampshire; it may force him to end his reelection run.
Enshrined in history and codified in Granite State Law, the New
Hampshire primary must be the first in the nation. Mindful that he finished
fifth there in 2020, Biden's people forced the DNC to demand that New Hampshire
cede its place to the more pro-Biden South Carolina. That didn’t sit well with
the New Hampshire state legislature that superseded the rule passed by the
national committee and insisted that New Hampshire remain the first primary in
the country. [more...]
Gavin Newsom’s Cozying to Godless CCP Disqualifies him for POTUS
America doesn't need a president who kisses the feet of communists in China.
It’s one thing to maintain diplomatic ties with
enemies so as to cooperate on matters of mutual interest and importance, such
as economic opportunities or regional peace or human rights. It’s another thing
entirely to kiss their feet. And California Gov. Gavin Newsom
did much more of the second than the first with his meeting with communist
dictator Xi JinPing. Can you say gold mine of communist propaganda? The
state-run media in China certainly can. [more...]
China's Military Might - How'd It Rise So Fast?
By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst from the Coalition for a Prosperous America
The Defense Department sent its annual report on the Chinese military
to Congress on Oct. 19. A few things were missing from that report: The DoD’s
disinterest in removing its dependence on Chinese sourced supply chains for
electronics and rare earth minerals used in making navigational equipment. Who
helped fund China's rise? The answer to that question is American capital and
American multinationals who turned China into the world's industrial
powerhouse. No other developing country has risen so fast so quick, and the
reason is not due to the genius of China's central planning, or the abundant
labor; it is due in large part to American capital. The DoD helped create the
monster they are now so worried about, and the average American defense
contractor, like Raytheon, is not interested in changing that. [more...]
To Be Anti-Racist is to Be Pro-Hamas
...and antiracism is antisemitism.
It didn't take long, not just for BLM chapters, but for
Ta-Nehisi Coates (who used to argue for slavery reparations from the false
example of Holocaust reparations) and now Ibram X. Kendi to make it official
that anti-racism means supporting the murder of Jews. Ta Nehisi Coates,
America’s most prominent literary racist until Ibram X. Kendi came around,
signed a letter which claimed that, "on Saturday, after sixteen
years of siege, Hamas militants broke out of Gaza" and then "more
than 1,300 Israelis were subsequently killed with over one hundred more taken
hostage." [Note the passive voice.] Instead of condemning Hamas, the
letter claimed that "Israel is executing the largest expulsion of
Palestinians since 1948 as it bombs Gazans without discrimination." [more...]
