Professor Blames Mass Shootings on ‘White Male Privilege’

Some opinions only get attention because they come from people with advanced degrees who make their living on the taxpayer dime. That’s certainly the case for Hugo Schwyzer, a history and gender studies professor at Pasadena City College. He has a history of blaming white men for most of the mass killings that take place in the United States. Friday’s tragic shootings in Newtown, Connecticut gave him a great opportunity to spout his nonsense once again. Less than 40 minutes after the events - while (woefully inaccurate) news was still breaking - he tweeted, “MEN committing acts of Mass Violence is an epidemic that the U.S. needs to immediately address.” [more...]

Steve Gill Show Surpasses Goals for Christmas Fundraising

Tennessee-based, nationally syndicated talk radio show host Steve Gill and his listeners set out to raise $5,000 for Helping Hands Ministry (www.helpinghandsministrytn.org) and another $15,000 for the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home (www.tbch4kids.org) during the holiday season. Helping Hands Ministry feeds the hungry in Warren and DeKalb Counties in Tennessee and TBCH is home to approximately 150 orphan and foster children across Tennessee. Thanks to the generosity of listeners and the Gill Show team over $36,000 was raised over the last month for the two charities - with 100% of the money raised going directly for Christmas gifts and meals for those benefitting from the organizations. The Left’s Renewed Assault on the NRA

While much of the country mourns the horrific death of the 26 children and adults murdered at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut at the hands of an alleged mentally unstable individual who also killed his mother, the Left lost no time in shamelessly exploiting the tragedy. In fact, Democratic Congressman Jerrold Nadler (NY) used the word “exploit” in urging President Obama to take advantage of the Newtown massacre to prod Congress into passing stronger gun control legislation. Big Labor Bosses Demonstrate Why RTW is Necessary

Shame on Big Labor Bosses! For years they have used the tactic of “shame” in an effort to pressure, bully and demonize employers who might stand against their efforts. They have used “shame” in their efforts to misinform the public - to create a misperception that their target is guilty of an unconscionable act and should bear the scarlet letter of these acts. These attacks have been not just against the targeted employer, but against anyone who might oppose them, including the employer’s customers and advertisers, non-union employees, even their own membership if it suits their purposes. Recently, Big Labor has taken the weapon of “shame” to the political arena, both in Wisconsin, Indiana and now in Michigan. [more...]
