Is
Obama Ready to Confront Iran Over Yemen?
By
Joseph
Klein
The
Obama administration, while showing willingness to cave in to just about every
Iranian demand in the ongoing nuclear negotiations, appears to be flexing its
muscles in the Yemen proxy fight between Saudi Arabia and Iran. The U.S. Navy
aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt is headed toward the waters off Yemen
from the Persian Gulf, escorted by the guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy. Its
presence will add to the fleet of other American warships already there,
including cruisers and destroyers, conducting maritime security operations in
or around the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden, the Strait of Bab-el-Mandeb and the
Southern Red Sea. If President Obama's track record of backing down in the
face of Iranian demands in the nuclear talks is any indication, Iran does not
have much to worry about. He will most likely back down as well from
undertaking any consequential confrontation with Iran over Yemen. [more...]
Will Computer Programmers Elect the Next President?
It
might seem far-fetched at first, but computer programmers and analysts known as
data scientists might very well be responsible for electing the next
President of the United States. How can that possibly be? Analytics from your "data footprint"
will help bring the most important and tailored information about a
candidate's views and policy positions to individual voters based on the
voter's interests and views. For example, if a potential voter is
interested in Second Amendment gun rights, analytics will tailor a message
to the voter about a presidential candidate's gun rights
position, not about the candidate's illegal immigration
views. Analytics will also help determine how many new voters will
need to be registered to win a particular state that might currently be an
electoral toss-up. Analytics can also be used to identify potential
new donors and micro-target the most appealing donor letter or online ad.
The list goes on and on. [Go here for a complete analysis...]
Equal
Pay Starts at Home
By
Joe
Messina
Equal
pay starts at home, at least that's what Obama thinks. In a speech this week,
the guy who claims he knows the Constitution - knows what the people want - hasn’t
figured out that we didn't elect his wife. She wasn't on the ticket. Mrs. Obama
has stated openly that being in the White House is like being in prison. She complains
about her role, about her prison, about America, and now she wants to be paid
for it? Really? She has more "aids" than any 20 prior first ladies
combined! She wastes more taxpayer dollars on personal vacations and shopping
sprees around the world than any 40 first ladies combined. [more...]
What
the Proposed $20 Bill Makeover Might Mean
By
Lowell Ponte
President
Andrew Jackson's face would be removed from America's $20 bill and replaced
with a woman's if legislation introduced in mid-April becomes law. This measure
is by Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, the first woman in
American history to serve as both a state governor and U.S. Senator. Her aim in
re-facing our currency, Shaheen says, is "to point out the significant
contributions women have made in U.S. history." Women have made enormous
contributions on many sides of issues. So which women are to be put on our
money – heroines of the right or of the left? And why is Andrew Jackson – the
only President who ever reduced America's national debt to zero - targeted to
be replaced by a woman? [more...]
The
DOJ Forensic Nightmare
Justice
Department officials have known for years that flawed forensic work might have
led to the convictions of potentially innocent people, but prosecutors did not
tell the defendants or their attorneys about these mistakes - even in many cases
they knew were troubled. Instead of releasing the facts of these life altering
mistakes, they only made them available to prosecutors in charge of affected
cases. Federal authorities launched the investigation in 2012, but it was just
over the weekend that they finally came clean publicly. As a result, hundreds
of defendants nationwide remain in prison or on parole for crimes that might
merit exoneration, a retrial or a retesting of evidence using DNA because FBI
hair and fiber experts may have misidentified them as suspects. [more...]
Why
is the Obama White House Removing Both Iran and Cuba from the Terror Watch
List?
Why
is the Obama Administration suddenly removing both Iran and Cuba from the
official Terror Watch List? Why did the Administration also insist on removing
language about Iran-sponsored terrorism from the Corker Bill? What is the White
House doing about Putin selling missiles to Tehran? Does anyone truly buy the
"new Hillary" who was on display in Iowa? And where does the
Republican race stand now that Rubio is in and Christie is making noises in New
Hampshire? This – and much more – will be discussed by the POLITICAL
INSIDERS live - on Fox News Channel this Sunday evening at 7:30pm ET. [more...]

Kerik: International Community MIA in Christian Genocide
The
international community is missing in action when it comes to aiding Christians
being persecuted around the globe by radical Islamists, former NYPD
Commissioner and interim Minister of the Interior of Iraq Bernie
Kerik said Monday. "Where's the international community? Where
is the UN Security Council?" Kerik asked. [more...]
