Why
the Schumer Shutdown?
By
Lowell Ponte
We all know why Democrats were eager to use a government
shutdown to force a path to citizenship for Latino aliens called “Dreamers.” Now
up to 36 years of age and numbering up to 3.6 million, these potential voters
are inclined to vote two-to-one in favor of Democrats who have thus far refused
to negotiate whether Dreamers, if made legal immigrants, can sponsor their
parents and other relatives as legal residents and, soon thereafter, voting
U.S. citizens... moving them ahead of other applicants. [more...]
We
Must Teach Students the Importance of Free Speech
By

Dixon, CEO of Lumen Student News
providing unbiased news to America’s middle and high school students
Every week we hear more calls to silence speakers,
essentially moving to kill one of the freedoms our founding fathers fought to
secure. Americans need to understand that undermining the First Amendment is a
slippery slope. Too often, university administrators are caving to - or
creating - a “heckler’s veto” - a tactic by opponents of free speech to drown
out the voices of others who have differing opinions. Watch our
video here. [more...]

President Trump is the first occupant of the Oval Office
to truly understand and fully embrace the digital universe in which we all find
ourselves immersed. It comes, then, as no surprise that his enemies continue to
try to discourage the president from fully participating in social media
activity. The digital debate continues to escalate as does the virtual war. Most
notably, a recent four-page memorandum that has been circulating in Congress,
which reportedly reveals alleged United States government surveillance abuses,
has been depicted in the following manner by legislators who have had the opportunity
to preview its contents: “shocking,” “troubling,” and “alarming.” [more...]
Is it Time for a
Special Counsel to Investigate the FBI?
Text
messages between two FBI employees (who were also romantically involved) -
Peter Strzok and Lisa Page - during the 2016 presidential election, were
revealed Monday by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. There were 50,000 text
messages between the two FBI employees. Plus, apparently another batch of messages
were missing during a 5-month period from December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017. These
text messages, rather than clearing up issues, raise additional issues about
the potential involvement of the FBI and the Obama administration in reacting
to the election of Trump. What new issues do these FBI text messages raise? [more...]
Did Christopher Steele
Write His Dossier or Did a Russian Associate?
Directed by Joel Gilbert

Among
the few givens in the unfolding drama of alleged Russia-Trump collusion is that
former MI6 intelligence officer Christopher Steele wrote the Donald
Trump-Russia dossier, alternately known as the "Steele Dossier." This
is the notorious document that purports to detail "Republican candidate
Donald Trump's activities in Russia and compromising relationship with the
Kremlin." The above quote is from the subhead of the document, titled
"Company Intelligence Report 2016/080," yet the same subhead
hints at a disturbing pattern evident throughout the document: it appears to be
written by someone whose native language is something other than English. [more...]
