New Mexico Compound Jihadis Released on Bond After Charges of Racism and “Islamophobia”

“Their lawyer argued that there was a double standard in the case because his clients were Muslims. He argued that if they had been Christian and white, ‘we might not be here today.'” Seriously? If they had been Christian and white, stockpiling weapons and plotting school shootings, with the ringleader being the son of one of the most respected Christian preachers in the country, there wouldn’t have been news coverage of anything else for weeks. There would have been feature stories in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Wall Street Journal. CNN and MSNBC would be running special reports on toxic Christianity and the crisis in the churches. [more...]

The Digital Threat to Free Expression

Recently, in a series of unprecedented moves on the part of four major social media platforms, free expression was deliberately brought to a halt. That the thwarting of the free expression in question took place on the same day adds to the alarming nature of the action by the digital powers that be. Alex Jones’s InfoWars content was banished from Facebook, Apple, YouTube, and Spotify. The move appears to have been a coordinated effort. A Modest Proposal for Racial Justice in the NFL

As the National Football League gears up for another season, players are already taking a knee during our national anthem to protest America. A conspiracy theorist might suspect the answer is soccer. Are these players secretly taking billions to alienate American football fans and turn their interest instead to the globalist game of soccer? [more...]

Sanders’ 'Medicare For All'
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific Research Institute

The growing call for single payer is now front and center in the media.  As the Republicans currently control the presidency, House and Senate, single payer is unlikely to go anywhere but it is being touted all over the country by candidates.  It is a major focus for the November mid-term elections and promises to be even more of a major issue in the 2020 presidential election campaign. It is noteworthy that neither Senator Sanders nor House candidate Ocasio-Cortez have projected how much a total takeover of our health care system by government would cost or how it would be paid for.  But the left-leaning Urban Institute projected the 2016 Sanders plan to cost $32 trillion over 10 years.

Keith Ellison Gets His #MeToo Moment

The DNC deputy chair’s alleged pattern of abusing women has come to light. Until last week, Karen Monahan’s progressive credentials had been impeccable. But now the activist is one of two women who have accused one of the top figures on the left of physical and emotional abuse. Born in Iran before the Islamic Revolution, she was adopted by American parents and not only identified as an Iranian-American, but also worked with the pro-regime National Iranian American Council (NIAC). Keith Ellison was also a NIAC regular. He had spoken before the Iranian group and had received fundraising support from it. The first Muslim congressman from Minnesota, with a list of Islamist and leftist connections as long as his right arm, was a natural NIAC ally. [more...]
