Jesus and the Socialist Agenda
By Lawrence W. Reed
As I explain in my new book Was Jesus a Socialist? -
Jesus never expressed sympathy for
the socialist agenda: political redistribution of wealth, the concentration of
power, government ownership of the means of production, central planning of the
economy, or a welfare state. He encouraged personal responsibility and charity
and never hinted that one can accomplish those things by passing the buck to
vote-buying politicians. His "Good Samaritan" was good because he
helped a needy man by choice and with his own resources. Socialism is
not about consensual arrangements and voluntary participation; it’s about
centralized power and compulsion. It's also about the grotesque satisfaction
socialists get from controlling others and punishing people they don't like. [more...]
What Life Would Be Like if the Dems Win
By Karen Kataline
As if on cue and just in time for the first
Trump rally in more than three months, the propaganda media is back to fear mongering
about the coronavirus. The Left’s accelerated strategy for the 2020 election is
more obvious than ever. Suppress the opposition and then incite and empower
thugs to continue to terrorize them. Never worry about the rank
hypocrisy of giving a green light to your friends and a red light to your foes.
Just stick to the narrative and make sure every Democrat does, too. We
also get a preview of what life would be like if they win. [more...]
The Miserable Pseudo-Science Behind Face Masks,
Social Distancing and Contact Tracing
By Patrick Wood
In a great suppression of free speech,
technocrats working the COVID-19 pandemic are shaming, ridiculing, bullying and
marginalizing anyone who questions their pseudo-science and shifting positions.
The state-mandated wearing of face masks, social distancing and contact tracing
are all unconstitutional and in some cases, illegal. It is highly doubtful that
most state and local leaders understand the lack of real and verified science
behind their actions and mandates. Nevertheless, they are implementing policies
that are destructive to our economic system, harmful to our personal health and
ruinous to personal liberty. [more...]
Democrat Leaders Pander to the Vandals
By Lowell Ponte
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi led pandering
Democrats wearing imitation Ghana Kente cloth of the Asante Empire, which grew wealthy by enslaving fellow Africans and
selling them to white slavers. Democrats were honoring this richest
slave-owning African tribe. Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia proposed
prohibiting any use of troops to stop mass looting and torching of American
cities. Leftist Democratic mayors and governors have ordered their police not
to stop leftist vandals. Whomever Joe Biden picks as his running mate
must be thoroughly vetted for signs of the same leftist views associated with
Sen. Kaine, a "stealth" radical the liberal media told voters was a
"moderate." [more...]
Biden's Foreign Policy Boss Called for
Anti-Israel DNC Platform
By Daniel Greenfield
Jewish Democrats are working hard to convince American Jews that
Biden will be friendly to Israel, but his latest move once again sends a very
different message. The Biden campaign is busy putting together its transition
team and Avril Haines, Obama’s deputy CIA director, will head foreign policy
and national security. Putting a former deputy CIA director in charge of
foreign policy would be an odd choice, but Haines was already an inappropriate
pick at the CIA. [more...]
What Coronavirus Data Show
By Sally Pipes, President & CEO of the Pacific
Research Institute
We must prioritize re-opening the economy to allow the many
Americans whose livelihoods have been devastated by the shutdown to begin
rebuilding their lives – even as we take targeted action to protect
the vulnerable. One-size-fits-all lockdowns seemed logical at first. In March,
public health officials urged or forced Americans to stay home to "flatten
the curve" and give hospitals a chance to meet an expected surge of COVID
patients. The initial predictions were far too pessimistic. Lawmakers overreacted because they
had weak data. Why have expectations been so
different from reality? [more...]
