A Racist Training Program for the U.S. Navy
As he assumed the office of Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral
Michael Gilday announced that he wanted to change the Navy. While the title of
his remarks in this
video was: "One Team, One Navy," its actual message was
racist and divisive. His bottom line: only "conversations" about race
would help. The "conversations" he referred to were in fact a lecture
from America's most popular and fact-challenged racist du jour, Ibram X. Kendi. The "conversation"
included "shared" videos of naval personnel claiming that America was
racist and that they were angry. "Being African-American in America is not
fun," an aviation technician claimed, especially no doubt for a two-term
African-American president who pocketed $100 million for the skillful exploitation
of his public office. [more...]
Please Stop Saying 'Socialism Doesn't Work'
How many times have you heard conservatives say, "Socialism
has never worked anywhere it has been tried." Conservative pundits rattle
off that line because they've heard so many others say it. Of all the arguments
against socialism, this is by far, the weakest. There are drugs that "work"
too, but they kill the patient. What's more, what exactly does "work"
mean? Doesn't that assume that the proponents actually want to help
rather than subjugate the masses? They have continually expressed contempt for
America with their words and actions, yet they say they have more compassion
than anyone else and that's why we need their "help." Just because
they succeed in advancing their socialist/communist policies by telling the
masses that it's "for your own good," or "the common good,"
doesn't make it true. Regardless, the level of arrogance and narcissism that is
required to make such a claim ought to be immediately suspect. [more...]
The Mad World of Tyranny - Technopopulism Enables the Very Thing
it Hates
By Patrick Wood
President Trump was championed by the populist movement in the
U.S. and turned to technocrats like Anthony Fauci to "fix" the COVID
crisis. He turned to technocrats to railroad the 5G rollout throughout the
nation. He turned to technocrats to fuel rapid smart city investments with tax
legislation that provided for Opportunity Zones from coast to coast. Now, the
Biden administration has pulled out all the stops and is rushing full-throttle
into technocracy. This is in no way a criticism of President Trump as an
individual. He might well have been the pinnacle of populist thinking.
Nevertheless, populists are the moth; technocracy is the flame. [more...]
One-Party New York and Crime
By Seth Barron
With crime soaring and the quality of life plummeting, one would
expect candidates in New York to run on restoring law and order. But, in line
with a seemingly inexorable national pattern, most of the candidates want to
keep as many people out of jail as possible, even for serious crimes. In cities
across the country, a coordinated effort is afoot to decriminalize supposed "crimes
of poverty," which means non-prosecution of "low-level offenses"
that result from addiction, homelessness, or being poor. A tough-on-crime
candidate could run a no-nonsense campaign advocating for victims and safer
streets, of course. But the nature of the Democratic primary system is that
anyone who runs even slightly to the right of the field gets cast as a
right-winger. Seth's new book: The Last Days of New York. [more...]
Kevin Hart Takes on the Cancel Culture
By James Hirsen
It was refreshing when Kevin Hart recently made the decision to
weigh in on cancel culture. He made headlines for remarks made during an
interview with the British Sunday Times. "When did we get to a
point where life was supposed to be perfect? Where people were supposed to
operate perfectly all the time?" Hart asked. "I don't understand. I
don't expect perfection from my kids. I don't expect it from my wife, friends,
employees. Because, last I checked, the only way you grow up is from [screwing]
up. I don't know a kid who hasn't [messed] up or done some dumb [things]."
According to Hart, because comics are too afraid of being cancelled, comedic
arts have suffered a severe blow. [more...]
Is Trump Staging a 'Coup?'
By Steve Turley
The new Patriot Party is paving the way for what looks like will
be an epic comeback in 2024. The Epoch Times summed it up best:
President Trump was supposed to be an historical footnote at this point. He's
supposed to be utterly destroyed, completely irrelevant, so radioactive nobody
will go near him. But not only is Trump not sulking in private in utter
disgrace, he's now exerting more direct control over the GOP than he ever did
when he was in the White House. And if he does run and win in 2024, he's going
to be able to implement his 'America first' agenda stronger and better than ever. [more...]
