What Reporters Should Ask Biden About Guns at His Promised Press
Conference
Biden’s remarks after the
hostage situation at the synagogue in Texas leave more questions than answers. What
were the motivations for the attack to occur? A full day after a Pakistani
Muslim attacked a synagogue on the Jewish sabbath to gain the release of Aafia
Siddiqui described as the "Lady of al Qaeda," Biden doesn't know. The
synagogue was near where Siddiqui is held. But when asked why the attacker
targeted that synagogue, Biden again responded that he didn't know but promised
more at a press conference on Wednesday. Those answers are surely much better
than the answers given by the FBI on Saturday, where they were not sure of the
motive but ruled out the attack being "specifically related
to the Jewish community." [more...]
Will U.S. Solar Be Totally Owned by China?
By Kenneth Rapoza, China Expert/Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America
Biden has less than three weeks to decide with the climate
lobby, supported by China, or U.S. makers of solar panels. Which side will he
choose? It's a battle. But for now, the
International Trade Commission (ITC) sided with American manufacturers and sent
their report to the White House on December 8. The final decision on the
safeguard extension sits with Biden. [more...]
Soros General Demands Purge of Military
The U.S. has Soros prosecutors who have turned our cities into
violent hellholes where criminals run loose, Soros politicians who wage war on
this nation from the ramparts of their offices, and Soros generals who advocate
for political purges of the nation's military. Recently the Washington
Post ran an op-ed from three retired generals, Antonio Taguba, an
immigrant who had accused America of war crimes during the fight against
Islamic terrorists in Iraq; Steven Anderson, a board member of the left-wing
VoteVets; and Paul Eaton, a senior VoteVets adviser, urging that the military
prepare for a "2024 insurrection" in proper Soviet style. The three
left-wing ex-generals called for "intensive intelligence work" to
"identify, isolate and remove potential mutineers" and "guard
against efforts by propagandists." [more...]
Can Politics Get Better When Higher Education Keeps Getting
Worse?
Voters have the sense to resist notions like critical race theory. A generation from now, they may not.
Only a few years ago, several well-established features of the
current political landscape were too absurd to be taken seriously. Defunding
the police was a ridiculous idea; critical race theory would be a giant step
backward in race relations; leftist radicalism was a fringe element of the
Democrat Party. Suddenly all have gone mainstream. However, recent election
results have seemed encouraging. [more...]
The Religion of Over-Compliance and Over-Reliance
By Judd Dunning
A new dominant religion exists in America beyond traditional
Christianity. This new religion is blind trust and faith in government.
Religious trust in government has become the new normal for too many. Post-pandemic
Biden-era Americans find themselves inextricably re-bound to a New Deal type of
invasive, controlling, bigger government. Inflation costs are nearing 7%, with
30% increases in energy as Biden steers our great American ship further on
to the rocks. Nevertheless, the compliant ones hypnotized by mainstream
propaganda remain wide-eyed automatons. They beg for more mandates and
lockdowns to address our newest COVID variant that has already been reduced to
the same weakened profile as influenza. [more...]
California Can Look Forward to Socialized Medicine if
Single-Payer Returns
By Sally Pipes
It's been five years since California Democrats tried
and failed to bring socialized medicine to the Golden State. But with the new
year comes a renewed attempt to abolish private health insurance and force all
of the state's 39 million residents into a new government-run plan. AB 1400
passed the state Assembly's Health Committee last week. The bill would install
a single-payer healthcare system called CalCare, in California. The full Assembly
must approve the bill by January 31 to keep it alive. [more...]
