Social Media Censorship Particularly Hits Those Without
Political Connections
Twice in thirty days, YouTube censored videos
of mine on topics that I previously covered for Real Clear Investigations and
Real Clear Politics. The video platform blocked me from posting anything for
two weeks and said that the ban would be permanent if another violation
occurred in the next 90 days. Someone complained to YouTube about my
post, but I never learned what the problem was. I was simply told, "It's
important to us that YouTube is a safe place for all." The problem is more
fundamental. The staffers are intentionally censoring people they disagree
with, and I doubt they got in any trouble for their "errors."
YouTube doesn't respect free speech, and people are less informed because
of it. [more...]
Biden Wants to Protect Every Border Except Our Own
While the Biden administration is focused on protecting the
borders of Ukraine from Russia, some 8,600 Russians have shown up at our border
with Mexico since last August. Not to be left too far behind, 5,534 Ukrainians
have also arrived since October. Last December, two cars carrying 18 Russian
migrants tried to barrel their way through at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. A
CBP officer opened fire on a Mercedes driven by the invaders. YouTube is full
of guides for Russians looking to get into the United States through Mexico. [more...]
These are China's Two Lifelines to Russia So Far
By Kenneth Rapoza, China Expert/Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America
Biden threatened China with sanctions if the CCP was found
to be providing tacit support for Russia. Xi Jinping has set aside those
threats and CCP officials have said that Russia is a strategic partner,
and that their friendship continues. Since war broke out in Ukraine on February
21, China has provided Russia with two known lifelines. In pragmatic terms,
Russia makes business sense to China. It is China's next-door neighbor, a gateway
to the Arctic, and – more importantly – Russia is a natural resource provider. [more...]
The Private Sector Can Help Solve Our Doctor Shortage
By Sally Pipes
The pandemic has laid bare a crisis we’ve ignored for far too
long - our chronic doctor shortage. According to the Association of American
Medical Colleges, the United States faces a shortfall of up to 124,000
physicians over the next decade. This is a supply problem, as the demand for
care only will go up. So, we must create more doctors - by expanding medical
school capacity and increasing the number of residency slots where budding
doctors can complete their training. [more...]
Disney's 'Turning Red' Has Parents Concerned
By James Hirsen
Disney's brand was always thought to have been family-friendly.
Not so anymore. Disney, via Pixar, is currently streaming a movie that is
over-the-top in terms of its unsuitability and potential to cause outright harm
to our youth. The film "Turning Red" is being marketed as a coming-of-age
story. The representation of the menstruation process is disrespectful and
debasing in nature. But this is far from the worst of the film's flaws. Adding
to the potential mind, body, and soul-altering mix are the exploration of
sexual urges and blatant participation in occult practices. [more...]
The Real Threat to World Peace is Xi Jinping Not Vladimir Putin
If you found supply chain delays intolerable in the delivery of cars and appliances as a result of COVID, things will get much worse if Taiwan falls to the mainland CCP. The greatest threat to world peace is not the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, but rather it is Mainland China's PLA Navy and Air Force - and their daily aerial penetration of Taiwan's Air Defense Identification Zone and armed patrols in and around islands belonging to smaller neighbors, such as Vietnam, Japan and the Philippines. All these actions by the CCP are intended to bully, intimidate, and ultimately force the reunification of Taiwan, located in the South China Sea - 90 miles off the coast of mainland China. [more...]
