Black Lives Matter Leaders Aren't Capitalist Converts; They
Still Want to Dismantle the U.S.
Many have reacted to the news that the founders of Black Lives
Matter lavishly spend donated money on luxury mansions by asking: How can
Marxists behave this way? One activist was even quoted as saying that this must
mean they are capitalists. This reaction, though, is based on a complete
misunderstanding of the difference between Marxism and capitalism. The BLM
organizations raise money in the name of social justice, but to them that does
not mean helping individual Black Americans improve their lives. What it means
is fundamentally altering the American system, and imposing Marxism, an
alien ideology with a 100 percent rate of failure, on our country. [more...]
2020 Election Irregularities are Still Unaddressed Despite
Recounts Gone Wrong, Erased Records, and Suddenly Surfacing Ballots
If we are going to avoid the type of debate that we saw after
the November 2020 election and restore confidence, then transparency is
important. Take one of the least obvious places where people have concerns
about the election - Montana. Trump won the state in 2020 by 16.4 percent. But
there is an election transparency problem in Missoula County, Montana's second most
populous county. If errors can occur in even relatively uncontested parts of
the country, we should be broadly concerned. What went wrong? Well, for one
thing, it all got worse after COVID-19 made mail-in voting mainstream. [more...]
India, China Pharmaceutical Companies Face Increasing Scrutiny in
Washington
By Kenneth Rapoza, China Expert/Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America
The pandemic revealed gaping holes in U.S. supply chains.
Everyone knows it. Anything medical related was front and center when it came
to critical items missing in action. The country's over-reliance on China and
India, especially for medical supplies, namely key generic drugs, is finally
getting Washington's attention but little has been done to counter it so far.
That is likely to change. A poll by Morning Consult conducted on
behalf of the newly formed advocacy group Americans for Safe Drugs showed
that 85% of respondents said they were concerned about the drug industry's
reliance on India and China. Another 70% said that the U.S. should not be
reliant on foreign sources for key generic drugs. That reliance is stark. [more...]
Legislation Would Ensure Some Criminals Serve 100% Of Their
Sentence
By Nikki Goeser, Executive Director of the Crime Prevention Research Center
There is legislation that is making its way through the state
legislature called the Truth In Sentencing Bill that would expand the
list of offenses that would mandate an inmate serve 100% of their sentence. I
SUPPORT THIS BILL and let me tell you why. Right now, victims are lied to
everyday in criminal courtrooms across Tennessee when they are told their
attacker will serve 100% of their prison sentence. How do I know? THIS
HAPPENED TO ME. [more...]
SNL Goes on the Attack Against Elon Musk
By James Hirsena
Unfortunately, much like the news scripters at MSNBC, SNL's
comedy writers have become apparatchiks of leftist media autocrats. The recent
treatment of Elon Musk is a prime case in point. Many view Elon as a modern-day
Edison. He's an entrepreneur extraordinaire and highly successful business
magnate to boot. His recent treatment by SNL is serving to underscore the fact
that decision makers of the show have been bowing lower and lower to a media
monarchy that in turn has been bowing to a shadow ruling class. [more...]
