Buttigieg’s Bold Crime Claim Doesn’t Hold Up

"Crime went down under Biden, and crime went up under Trump," Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg claimed recently. "It’s no accident that violent crime is near a record 50-year low," Joe Biden similarly claimed. And fact-checkers, at places like PolitiFact, rate Biden’s statement as "true." For months, the news media has relied on FBI data to relentlessly push this claim. But the problem is that the FBI data only counts crime reported to police, not total crime; and even then, it does a poor job of measuring reported crime. Buttigieg dared viewers to "do yourself a favor and look up the data." In that time, she had been hit with a couple of punches, the devasting force of which she later said she had never encountered. The referee announced Khelif as the winner, and moments later Carini fell to her knees in tears, broken by the essential unfairness of having her Olympic dream crushed by the juggernaut of gender ideology. The Real Archetype and the Fake One

Recently, former President Trump was catapulted to hero status, when after being shot during an attempted assassination, he stood tall, pumped his fist in the air, and uttered the unparalleled words “Fight, fight, fight!” In an instant, he became the archetype. Everyone could see how compelling a moment it was, including the former president’s political opponents. Democrats and the complicit media were well aware that something needed to be done to slow the momentum, reverse the narrative, and ultimately prohibit the continuance of his hero archetype status. That’s when Joe Biden was encouraged to hand over the governing reins to VP Kamala Harris, which he did quite swiftly and without using the correct protocols or going through the proper channels.
