Why Christmas Remains the Greatest Story of All Time
By Scott Powell, Author of Rediscovering America
It is remarkable that Christ had no servants, yet everyone
called him master. He had no formal education or degree, yet educated Jews
called him rabbi and teacher. Jesus had no medicines, yet he was desperately
sought out as a healer. He had no army, yet emperors and kings feared
him. History shows that the greatest advancement of human character - and
the accomplishments that followed - was made possible by God who became man,
born in the humble circumstances of a dirty stable in the small village of
Bethlehem, a speck in the vast Roman Empire. And while that empire would
crumble and fall, Jesus, who had neither an army nor won military battles, went
on to become the Lord and Savior for people who believe all over the world.
While Jesus did say, “My Kingdom is not of this world,” He also implored His
disciples and all believers that God’s “will be done on earth, as it is in
heaven.” In the end, the Christmas story is about peace and the great joy
that good will triumph over evil. [more...]
Trump on Fannie & Freddie
By Todd Sheets
During his first administration, President Trump took measures
to finally relieve taxpayers of the risks associated with Fannie Mae and
Freddie Mac, the giant institutions that dominate housing finance. With Mr.
Trump now returning to office, many of Fannie and Freddie’s supporters have
argued that following through on these plans would dangerously harm housing
affordability and, potentially, the economy. As I show in my new book, 2008: What Really Happened,
the GSE-driven surge of financing triggered the onset of the housing bubble. In
the four years prior to the bubble, real housing prices basically tracked
inflation. Then, from 1998-2001, real home prices shot up by an average of 4.7%
per year – which is to say that home prices during what I have called the four-year
Lift-off phase of the bubble increased by nearly three times as fast as they
had in the prior century! The bubble ultimately started to collapse in 2007. During
2008, Fannie and Freddie both failed, and taxpayers were left holding the bag
for their losses. As was the case with the Second Bank in the 1830s, it is now
high time to either privatize or otherwise dismantle these institutions. [more...]
Drones a Diversion to Delay Inaugural?
By Louie Gohmert, Fmr. Texas Congressman
A reflection on the last thing we need from the Biden regime.
From where have the drones come? What is their
purpose? Is it possible the U.S. Government would lie to the American people? Whether
they come from another country like Iran, Russia, China, North Korea or
somewhere else is a possibility. Much more likely, though, they are U.S.
government drones searching desperately for something. There has been vast
speculation on what that might be. We are told that there is radioactive
material missing but the Biden administration does not indicate that the two
occurrences are linked. Now citizens are asking whether the Biden
administration would be willing to use a national emergency, whether contrived
or authentic, arising out of these or other circumstances, to declare martial
law and refuse to swear in the new President on January 20 as constitutionally
required. [more...]
Trump's Promises for His First 100 Days
By Judd Dunning, Talk Show Host, Bestselling Author
In this pivotal moment, as America approaches Christmas and
prepares for a new year, President-elect Trump is already positioning himself
as the nation's guide through turbulent times. His NBC interview delivered an
unmistakable message: strength, clarity, and conservative vision. Trump's
promises for his first 100 days reveal a bold and uncompromising agenda to
restore American greatness, secure its borders, and uplift its citizens.
President Trump Re-Asserts Treaty Obligations of Panama and The U.S.
to the Panama Canal
By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State
The "Treaty Concerning the Permanent Neutrality and Operation of the Panama Canal" gives the U.S. significant influence on the security and conduct of operations of the Panama Canal.
The elite are freaking out over President Trump’s comments over
the Panama Canal. Well, the elite need to read the Treaty and understand
what’s going on. The Panama Canal is vital to the economy of the
United States. However, decades of diplomatic non-interest by the U.S. in
Panama and the Panama Canal have led to a situation where China has more
influence in Panama than the U.S. [more...]
Biden Considering Clemency for Mother Emmanuel and Tree of Life
Killers
By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies
...also a monster who raped and murdered an 8 and 9-year-old girl out riding bikes.
On the way out the door, every ideologue in the Biden
administration is working overtime to save every monster (including the 40 on
death row), from terrorists to foreign enemies to killers. Here’s the Justice
Department, during a time of record crime and violence, frantically trying to
figure out how to stymie the 2024 election results by making it as
difficult as possible for the duly elected administration to execute
murderers. The monsters on Death Row include the worst of the absolute worst. [more...]
CPA Applauds CBO Report Highlighting Revenue Gains and Minimal
Economic Impact of Tariffs
By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America
The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) highlighted key
findings from the Congressional Budget Office’s (CBO) preliminary report on
tariffs, which confirms CPA’s analysis that tariffs can raise significant
government revenue while benefiting U.S. industries. The CBO’s findings show
that the proposed 10/60 tariff package - an additional 10% global tariff and a
60% tariff on imports from China - would cut deficits by $2.7 trillion over the
next decade with minimal impact on consumer prices and economic growth. [more...]
Germany Vehicular Attacker was ‘Obviously Islamophobic’
By Robert Spencer, Author of Muhammad: A Critical Biography
The man who plowed his car at top speed into the Christmas
market in Magdeburg, Germany on Friday, killing and injuring numerous people,
was a curious case. Taleb al-Abdulmohsen had lived in Germany for years,
all the while presenting himself as an ex-Muslim and cultivating connections
with high-profile critics of Islam. This led numerous media outlets to
present him as an “anti-Islam” terrorist, and German Interior Minister
Nancy Faeser, who for years has ignored and denied any connection of Islam
with terrorism and smeared critics of Islam and mass Muslim migration
in Germany as “Nazis,” said (no doubt gleefully) that “we can
only say with certainty that the perpetrator was obviously Islamophobic.” [more...]
