Does President Trump Have It Wrong on TikTok?

By Scott Powell, Author of Rediscovering America

In his first term, President Trump came to understand that TikTok was a creation of Bytedance, a company controlled by the Chinese government - specifically the CCP. So, in August of 2020, he signed an executive order requiring the CCP-controlled ByteDance to divest TikTok. A month later that order got blocked by a court injunction. But that was reversed by the Biden administration in 2021. In delaying the banning and dismantling of TikTok, President Trump needs to determine whether the kind of weapon the CCP has created in TikTok can be rendered benign, even if it becomes wholly owned by an American company. The Chinese are notorious for welding backdoors into their systems as they did with Huawei. We chose not to take a chance with Huawei, and we should not take a chance with TikTok when vestiges of Chinese deceptive engineering could still be present and operated. [more...]

How Colombia Proved That Tariffs Work

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

Gustavo Petro, a former teenage Marxist revolutionary who became Colombia's president in 2022, just got beat by the BOSS: President Donald J. Trump. And he got beat because Trump's tariff threats, a cornerstone of his America First policy platform, worked. The story began when Petro refused to repatriate Colombian aliens who have committed crimes in the U.S. and had been released by Democrat district attorneys and blue city police departments. Upon learning about Colombia's refusal to take their own criminals back, Trump posted to social media that he was imposing an immediate 25 percent tariff on Colombia, along with assorted other sanctions - whereupon Petro backed down not 47 minutes later, promising to send his own plane to Washington to pick up the migrants. What's next? Mexico building the wall? Don't discount it! Mexico and Canada are facing similar threats of tariffs which might go into effect this weekend. The weekend kerfuffle proved how effective tariffs can be. [more...]

Government Price Controls Won’t Help Residents in California Recover From LA Fires

By John Lott, Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime

With prices of hotels and short-term rentals soaring in Southern California due to the recent devastating wildfires, "price-gouging” has once again become a buzzword. With inflation already one of Americans’ greatest concerns, it is a message many people will be primed to hear. Now, California Attorney General Rob Bonta is threatening to prosecute businesses that raise prices “by more than 10 percent above the price before an emergency declaration.” California Gov. Gavin Newsom also declared a state of emergency that triggered various provisions of California’s anti-price-gouging law. [more...]

In One Social Media Posting, President Trump "Trudeaus" The President of Colombia

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

Leftist (really Maoist/Communist) Colombian President Gustavo Petro has learned a very hard lesson and made a fool of himself for accepting repatriation flights, then trying to cancel them with a loud and obnoxious rant and then caved like a lawn chair within an hour of a social media posting by President Trump. Things are not looking good for Petro in his own country. [more...]

Sanctuary Cities Were Always Anti-American

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

The real origins of our open borders nightmare

New York City, Chicago and Boston are among the sanctuary cities collapsing after waves of migrants stormed across the open borders. Even cities that once boasted of providing sanctuary to illegal aliens from federal immigration enforcement are now running away from the name. Sanctuary cities were always intended to be destructive. They were not, as many Democrats now wrongly claim, about providing safe harbor to refugees, but about bringing down America. The sanctuary cities did not emerge in response to the Holocaust, the Rwandan genocide or any actual genocide, but to provide support and sanctuary for Marxists fleeing the civil wars they had started in Latin America, and then later for Islamic terrorists after September 11. Progressive Arrogance, Failures Set California Ablaze

By Judd Dunning, Talk Show Host, Bestselling Author

Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif. epitomizes everything wrong with progressive governance. The man who has held the reins of power for years somehow believes the crisis is everyone else’s fault. Seemingly ever the opportunist, Gavin is a master of distraction. Why address California’s crumbling infrastructure, failed energy policies and regulatory overreach when you can point fingers instead? California’s wildfires are not a freak accident. They are a predictable result of decades of progressive mismanagement, pseudo-green virtue signaling, and bureaucratic red tape and Gavn's California has become the shining jewel of progressive failure. Trump Has the Attention of China, Mexico & Canada on Fentanyl

By Dr. Robert Marbut, Producer of Fentanyl Death Incorporated

Because of the mass deportations, fentanyl deaths are decreasing. We know that the deadly fentanyl crisis in America originates out of China and passes through Mexico and Canada. President Trump has done more in one week than the Biden-Harris administration did in four years to address the fentanyl scourge. He now has the attention of China, Mexico, and Canada; Mexico and Canada have already had historic fentanyl drug busts in the last 40 days after their leaders talked to President Trump. Hopefully, we’ll get improvement out of China, too. I am the producer of the new film, “Fentanyl: Death Incorporated,” now streaming at Salem NOW. Trump Effect Spreads from Colombia to California and All Places in Between

By Cheryl Chumley, Author of God-Given or Bust

On Friday, President Trump sent a couple of planes filled with illegals from America back to their home country of Colombia. On Sunday morning, Trump learned that Colombian President Gustavo Petro turned away the planes and refused to allow them to land. Trump responded by vowing tariffs on all Colombian goods coming into the United States. By Sunday afternoon, Colombia’s president was welcoming the planes filled with migrants back to his country, a la open arms. Bang. Bam. Voila. That’s the Trump Effect. [more...]

The Question of Birthright Citizenship

By James Hirsen, NY Times Bestselling Author, International Business Attorney, News Analyst & Cultural Commentator

In my legal assessment, by issuing the executive order on birthright citizenship, President Trump is prompting the courts to clarify and rule on the language, meaning, and substance of what the law actually states. For quite a long time, government institutions have allowed policies to be implemented apart from the law, policies that deem all persons born in the U.S. to illegal alien parents are citizens. However, the United States Constitution does not necessitate this policy. In fact, there is nothing in either the Constitution or in any federal statute that grants birthright citizenship to a child born in the U.S. to illegal alien parents. What appears to be a complex issue actually isn’t. A look back at constitutional history provides quite a bit of insight and may help to clarify things. [more...]

Andy Petree & Matt McSwain used military precision to organize a helicopter relief effort that saved lives and helped folks rebuild. Their stories will break your heart but will also give you hope.

CALL Sandy at 516-735-5468 or e-mail Sandy to schedule interviews with Matt McSwain

Their organization, Operation Helo, remains dedicated to supporting families in Western North Carolina as they recover from Hurricane Helene. To date, they’ve provided 206 new campers to displaced families, ensuring they have a safe and temporary place to call home. As FEMA support phases out, the need for these campers continues to grow as they allow families to stay close to their communities, schools, and essential services. Additionally, they have announced the Winter Warmth Initiative to keep these families warm during winter by partnering with local businesses like Blossman Propane to provide propane refills, ensuring no family goes without heat.

Exciting News for Western North Carolina: As they continue their mission to bring help and hope to the communities affected by Hurricane Helene, Operation Helo are thrilled to share that President Trump will be visiting Western North Carolina on Friday January 24th. This visit underscores the importance of ongoing recovery efforts in their region. At Operation Helo, they are committed to ensuring no one is left behind in the wake of disaster. From delivering life-saving aid to rebuilding lives, their work continues to make a lasting impact. It Takes More Than the Inauguration of Donald Trump as President to Save America

By Scott Powell, Author of Rediscovering America

The early cabinet nominee confirmation hearings have set the right tone and substance for the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States. It’s increasingly clear that Trump has chosen strong candidates who are committed to turning America around, which is encouraging as the American people deserve results from a popularly elected president with a clear reform mandate. The strong, direct governing approach of Trump is being vindicated right before our very eyes in his cabinet selections. How refreshing to witness these nominees standing their ground on principles and pushing back with truth, confidence, and finesse to politicians who surely have more skeletons in their closets than the nominees under their review. But to root out corruption throughout our government, we must be prepared to do whatever it takes, and that means both standing behind President Trump and his remaining cabinet nominees to make tough decisions and holding them accountable to deliver what they promised. A Battle over Tax Cut Extensions and Questions About Tariffs

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

Treasury Secretary nominee Scott Bessent faced a divided Senate Finance Committee on Thursday for another Trump nomination hearing this week. To his credit, Bessent demonstrated a masterful view of the macroeconomics around tariffs, trade, and currency. He publicly acknowledged the benefits of tariffs, the damage done by the China shock, and how trade must be rebalanced to benefit Main Street producers and workers. The main takeaway from the Committee is the Democrats are against extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which expires at the end of this year, and there is only lukewarm acceptance by both parties on broad tariffs, with a general acceptance for tariffs on China. [more...]

Trump, With a Pen and a Phone, Rights Biden-Obama Wrongs

By Cheryl Chumley, Author of God-Given or Bust

Scarcely had Donald Trump finished taking his presidential oath of office and already, America was back on track. Among his orders: there are only two sexes - male and female; J6 inmates - you’re excused; Paris treaty and World Health Organization - see ya later, alligator; illegals - let the deportations begin; and 'drill, baby, drill' - energy production is back on the table. And just like that, the Senate confirmed Marco Rubio as State Department secretary. Remember when former President Obama arrogantly said he didn’t need Congress because he had a pen and a phone? Well, now the tide has turned. [more...]

President Trump Dismisses 1,000 Biden Burrow-ees

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

General (Ret.) Milley still has his clearance? Randy Vickers has his clearance pulled, but is giving a brief tomorrow, maybe Randy missed the memo.

Firing 1,000 Biden appointees isn’t payback; this is established precedent from Biden who broke precedent by dismissing many Trump first term related appointees from boards and advisory bodies. These appointments, until Biden, were respected and traditionally have been bi-partisan and receive appointments meant to transcend Administrations. Biden set the precedent of malicious weaponization of these positions. It’s very appropriate for President Trump to return the favor. General (Ret.) Milley might have been dismissed from his position, but appears to still hold a clearance. Need to address this pronto! [more...]

Freedom Center Investigates (FCI) Helped Block Terror Imam from Trump Inauguration

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

When the Trump inauguration program was first leaked, it included a ‘benediction’ from Imam Husham Al-Husainy, a Dearborn Shiite Muslim cleric who had gotten in trouble before over his views on Hezbollah. Freedom Center Investigates jumped into action compiling an extensive Twitter thread and other tweets that received half a million views and was retweeted by, among others, Ayaan Hirsi Ali. We turned up everything from videos in which Al-Husainy screamed at Sean Hannity and refused to answer if he supported Hezbollah after an appearance at the DNC, a rally in which he shouted about "agents of the Jews," videos in which he appeared to curse Christians, faked hate crimes being used to push Sharia law, description of Iranian terror leader Soleimani as a martyr and a letter urging "our sons to get ready to carry out their duty in Holy Jihad and continue the path which our young valiant men in Hezbollah began in Southern Lebanon." Why Are Our Campuses Seething with Antisemitism?

By Prof. John M. Ellis, Author of A Short History Of Relations Between Peoples

Short answer: That’s the way radical professors want it.

The scale of support on college campuses for militant antisemitism and even for Hamas barbarism has alarmed most Americans, but there’s something else here that ought to trouble us, too: a startling ignorance of the most basic facts of Middle Eastern history. These are college students being educated on renowned campuses - yet they know virtually nothing about the matter they are protesting. How can that be? [more...]

Diversity Insurance

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

Is your city on fire? You needed diversity insurance.

Is your home on fire because your local fire department is run by three lesbians named Kirsten and there’s no water because that department is also being run by a diversity hire? Sorry, maybe you should have bought diversity insurance. The vital infrastructure of yesterday’s cities used to be run by somebody’s brother-in-law while the vital infrastructure of today’s cities is being run by a professional grievance expert with the right combination of skin color, sex and sexual appetites and makes that brother-in-law, who at least managed to marry into the right family, look like a genius. That’s bad news for you. [more...]

Trade Deficit Jumped 7.6% in November... Goods Trade Gap Now $1.08 Trillion, Beating 2023 Levels

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

The goods and services trade deficit rose 7.6% in November to $78.2 billion, a big leap from previous months when the deficit was trailing under the three-month moving average, based on Bureau of Economic Analysis data released this week. Manufactured goods recorded their second biggest monthly deficit this year, hitting $103.3 billion in November. The previous record for the year was set in September at $109 billion. That figure was the biggest monthly gap in two years. The U.S. now has an 11-month goods deficit of $1.08 trillion, which is more than the 12 months deficit of 2023. [more...]

Executive Orders are Blowing Up the Constitution

By Cheryl Chumley, Author of God-Given or Bust

Joe Biden, in his final days of presidency, signed a couple executive orders banning offshore drilling on almost 630 million acres of U.S. property and waters. Donald Trump, in the lead-up to his new term as president, told Republican senators he wants to write, sign and enact 100 executive orders shortly after inauguration. Enough of the executive orders. They’re tearing apart the Constitution. They’re also sidelining Congress and allowing legislators to skirt accountability, even while stripping them of power. Executive orders have been part of America’s governing system from Day One. Even George Washington issued them. But “the form, substance and numbers of presidential orders have varied dramatically in the history of the US presidency,” The American Presidency Project wrote. [more...]

Populist Mandate Brought Second American Revolution

By Scott Powell, Author of Rediscovering America

There is little doubt as we start a new year defined by a popular mandate to be fulfilled on Jan. 20, with the Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump, that we are living in an extraordinary time - in America and globally. The political and cultural mandate of the new Trump administration is nothing short of a rediscovery of what has made America the greatest nation in human history. The vision was cast in the Declaration of Independence in 1776, but it could only begin to be fulfilled after the American Revolution succeeded in the defeat of Great Britain. [more...]

China's Cyber War on the U.S.

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

According to FBI Director Wray, China has been placing cyber bombs in our critical infrastructure. Well then, what was the FBI's priority stack of operations?

China has a bigger cyber theft and cyber-attack program than all other nations combined. So, on Day One, January 20, 2025, the priority stack of operations that the FBI has been apportioning resources to under Biden needs to be revealed. How many FBI operations were focused on J6, school board meetings, and right-wing Christian Nationalists? And what role have the Chinese Special Operators being let into the country played? How many of them have taken jobs with telecommunication firms to help the placement of cyber weapons inside American critical infrastructure? We need to replace all untrusted Chinese hardware and software, hold China accountable, and also hold Biden officials accountable. Wray should have resigned years ago if he felt strongly about the Merrick Garland directed priorities for the FBI. [more...]

Critical Race Theory Is an Inversion of History

By Prof. John M. Ellis, Author of A Short History Of Relations Between Peoples

Tribalism and racism were universal until Britons and Americans developed a new way of thinking.

It’s a tribute of sorts to critical race theory’s success that the Trump administration will make its eradication a priority. The Biden administration had quietly implemented policies throughout the federal government based on this theory, and it is being taught in colleges and schools throughout the country. It has overrun much of the corporate world, and it has even secured a place in the training of many professions. The accusations made in closed training sessions are astonishingly venomous: Arrogant white supremacy is ubiquitous; white rage results when that supremacy is challenged; whites hold money and power because they stole it from other races; systemic racism and capitalism keep the injustices going. [more...]

The Systemic Problem of the California Wildfires

By James Hirsen, NY Times Bestselling Author, International Business Attorney, News Analyst & Cultural Commentator

Two prominent leaders have dared to speak bluntly about the contributing causes of the calamity that occurred in Los Angeles: former LA mayoral candidate Rick Caruso and President-elect Donald Trump. Caruso is a former commissioner for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. He is also the owner of the Palisades Village Mall, located in the heart of the community that has been decimated by the wildfires. Caruso’s daughter’s home was destroyed in the blaze, and he himself was evacuated from his home. As the flames were breaking out in his beloved neighborhood, he noticed something that defied comprehension. The fire hydrants were devoid of even a drop of water. “There’s no water in the fire hydrants,” Caruso exclaimed, his voice revealing his exasperation. “This is a window into a systemic problem of the city,” he said. Harris Certifies, Biden Bans, and the Anti-MAGA Moves Are Off and Running

By Cheryl Chumley, Author of God-Given or Bust

Once President-elect Trump is inaugurated, watch as the Democrats dig up their deep fury and unleash, as Sen. Chuck Schumer might say, a whirlwind of retribution. It’d be great if the seemingly sane and smooth transitory nature of the certification process continued into the new year’s politics. But anyone who’s watched politics for more than a blink knows Democrats are already campaigning, already hunkering, already plotting how best to hurt Trump. “Biden is doing everything possible to make the TRANSITION as difficult [as] possible, from lawfare such as has never been seen before, to costly and ridiculous Executive Orders on the Green New Scam and other money wasting hoaxes,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. Biden is banning new drilling off the east coast, the west coast of California, Oregon and Washington state, off Alaska’s coast and oh, yeah, off the eastern portion of the Gulf of Mexico. Now That We Are in the Second American Revolution, How Is it Won?

By Scott Powell, Author of Rediscovering America

We are now at a second American Revolution - only this is clearly a spiritual and ideological war. However, like the first, it is necessary to win in order that the people become free to pursue their dreams, create and build their lives. And critics should be grateful, if they value life and peace, that Trump has been raised up as America’s leader in a time such as this. There is no other current leader who has a superior combination of character and personality qualities that can deter enemies and bring about peace. What Americans allowed to happen starting nearly a hundred years ago - but with increasing acceleration from the 1960s on - was the destruction of the moral capital that had previously defined America. Let us hope and pray that this second American Revolution will not be a shooting war. [more...]

Fentanyl - A National Security Emergency

By Dr. Robert Marbut, Producer of Fentanyl Death Incorporated

On Day 1, Should President-Elect Donald Trump declare a national security emergency because of the deaths caused by Fentanyl? Trump will have a number of issues to deal with but none more important than the hundreds of thousands of drug-related deaths caused by Fentanyl. This scourge manifests itself in several ways:

·             We have lost and will never regain future contributors to our social security.

·             Tens of thousands of young people will not find a suitable partner for marriage.

·             Tens of thousands of children will never be born.

·             Tens of thousands of seniors will not have family healthcare providers.

Needless to say, fentanyl, has caused a national calamity that should be dealt with by the declaration of a national emergency. [more...]

Updated Detailed Information on Mass Public Shootings from 1998 to 2024

By John Lott, Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime

When another shooting happens at a place such as a school or a mall, politicians and the media are apt to claim that many hundreds of mass shootings occur each year. “Over the last year since Uvalde, our country has experienced a staggering 650 mass shootings,” Joe Biden claimed in 2023. After the Madison, Wisconsin school shooting in mid-December, CNN said that “more than 500 mass shootings” had taken place so far in 2024. These statements give an incorrect impression that there are massacres every day, like the infamous 2022 Uvalde shooting, which claimed the lives of nineteen students and two teachers, or the one in Lewiston, which claimed eighteen lives. [more...]

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

Trudeau was a tyrant and a thug... the model WEF/Globalist/CCP virtue signaler. Canadians lost everything when he used federal overreach to punish the Canadian truckers. Pastors have been jailed for sharing the gospel message. There has to be accountability and restitution. Canada is one of the worst NATO offenders for their military. The old NATO/Trump standard was 2% of GDP. It is now 5% per Trump. Canada is a measly 1.4% of GDP for military spend, starving their once proud military. Most Canadians are embarrassed by this and despise Trudeau. This is the Trump effect in action - let’s keep the momentum going! [more...]

Why Didn’t Any Democrats Object to Trump’s Certification?

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

In the past, Democrats objected to every single Republican presidential victory in this century. The Washington Times, however, notes that this time around ”It was the first time congressional Democrats did not raise a challenge to a Republican winner of the presidential election since certifying George H.W. Bush’s victory in 1989.” Why did Raskin, who wouldn’t even commit to the process a few weeks ago, and who objected in 2016, go along with things now? The short answer is that the whole thing was tactical. Democrats decided that the 2016 tantrums are not advisable and no longer work and are probably pointless anyway since Trump secured his second term. Now they’re bragging about how much they respect the constitutional process, not because they actually do, but because it serves to cover a change of strategies. [more...]

Even After New Orleans, the Left Won’t Name the Ideology Behind the Attack

By Mark Tapson

More details are coming in about Shamsud Din Jabbar, the deceased perpetrator of the heinous New Year’s Day vehicular jihad in New Orleans that left 15 Americans dead and dozens more injured. In a Thursday morning press conference, FBI Deputy Assistant Director Christopher Raia of the Counterterrorism Division revealed that Jabbar had pledged himself to the Islamic State terror group before the summer and posted Facebook videos about wanting his planned attack to send the right message: that it is about a “war between the believers and disbelievers.” This is in addition to previous revelations from friends and relatives confirming that the Muslim Jabbar had become concerningly “devout” in recent months. Oh yeah – and his murder weapon of choice flew the black flag of ISIS. All that sounds suspiciously like Jabbar’s motive could be classified as Islamic terrorism. But if you think the Left will acknowledge the threat of Islamic “radicalism” to this country, then you have been living under a rock since the Jimmy Carter era. [more...]
