January U.S. Trade Deficit Improves by $8.8 Billion

China goods trade deficit shrinks to 7-month low.

The drop in the China goods deficit was counterbalanced, in part, by rising trade debt with other trading partners. President Trump’s tariffs are necessary for national and economic security in relation to China’s predatory economic strategy. We absolutely need to guard against Beijing’s attempts to erode our economic, military, and geopolitical strength. However, a full America First trade and economic strategy must include adjusting the dollar exchange rate to a competitive price. Otherwise we will continue growing our trade deficit even as it may shift from China to other countries. [more...]

"Sanctuary Cities" Divide the Left from the Right

The contrast in definitions between what the Left commonly refers to as “sanctuary cities” is particularly illustrative of the vast difference between the Left and the Right. So-called "sanctuaries cities" have been declared to defend the rights of citizens which are expressly guaranteed in the Constitution. Democrat “sanctuary cities” not only defy existing law, but put citizens in a greater position of having to defend themselves from criminal illegal aliens and civil unrest. Britain's Version of 'Medicare For All' is Struggling with Long Waits for Care

Nearly a quarter of a million British patients have been waiting more than six months to receive planned medical treatment from the National Health Service, according to a recent report from the Royal College of Surgeons. More than 36,000 have been in treatment queues for nine months or more. Long waits for care are endemic to government-run, single-payer systems like the NHS. Vogue Arabia published a glowing puff piece fawning over Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has, said Vogue, “made history in her adopted country,” apparently while hating every minute of it. Life in Trump’s America, she said, is “an everyday assault;” she did not, however, say anything about moving back to that paradise of multiculturalism, her native Somalia. Instead, she is bringing it here, at least in one aspect of Sharia observance: “To me,” she said, “the hijab means power, liberation, beauty, and resistance.” What would the innumerable victims of the hijab say to that? Glenn Beck on 'Dark Agenda:' Threat to Christians is Real

Glenn Beck is praising David Horowitz’s new book Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christianity in America. Horowitz was just on Beck’s national radio show and the top-rated host told his audience that “this is a very critical book,” warning Americans of the growing attacks on Christians. Beck then praised Horowitz, a leading conservative and a Jew, for taking a stand to protect Christians and speaking out about the growing persecution of Christians in America. “This guy is an American hero,” Beck said. “The threat is frightening,” Horowitz says. “I thought this book would be a warning about the future, but the plan to destroy Christianity is already underway and a real threat today,” Horowitz said. [more...]
