Larry Elder for Failing Black Students
By Howard Comen
Larry Elder, conservative radio host and Republican who is among the leading candidates to replace Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom in the upcoming recall election says "About 67 percent of Black students did not meet state standards for English language arts on standardized tests, according to the California Department of Education. Roughly half of all public school students who took state tests did not meet the standard for English." But what about the students in the deep south... [more...]
No New COVID Deal Needed
By Judd Dunning
Sen. Rand Paul urged Americans to resist
potential forthcoming lockdown measures, saying, “They can’t arrest all of
us. They can’t keep all of your kids home from school. They can’t keep every
government building closed – although I’ve got a long list of ones they might
keep closed or might ought to keep closed,” Paul said. “We don’t have to accept
the mandates, lockdowns, and harmful policies of the petty tyrants and
bureaucrats. We can simply say no, not again." What we have
experienced in 2020-2021 during COVID interruptus nationally and here in my
home state, California COVID Communism, is the biggest and most direct
governmental interference since the New Deal. Do your own research. Make your
own choices. That's what this is all about. [more...]
China Solar Product Bought on Amazon Burns House
By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America
American Family Mutual Insurance is suing Amazon in a Minnesota
court because their client's home caught fire thanks to a faulty China made
solar generator. The boon in e-commerce imports, thanks in large part to Amazon
and lockdowns, is mostly thanks to a U.S. customs rule that allows for $800 and
under goods to flow into the U.S. duty free. We are the only country that sets
the minimum price before port taxes kick in to be at such a high level, leaving
the door wide open for Chinese commerce, including garbage goods that burn your
house down. Consumers have no recourse as Amazon is not the manufacturer. This
insurance company is trying their luck and hoping Amazon will pay before it
sees a court date. [more...]
Patriots Boycott Subway Over "Woke"
Rapinoe Ads
By Steve Turley
According to new reports, multiple Subway franchise
locations, particularly in red states across the nation, are calling on their
headquarters to immediately end their relationship with the ultra-woke soccer
player Megan Rapinoe. As you may know, Rapinoe has been starring in
Subway's latest ad campaign. That's been turning off many customers, so much so
that Subway franchise owners have been calling for the commercials to be
canceled. Owners of various Subway franchises are reportedly getting a
shocking number of complaints from angry customers who have pledged to boycott
Subway until they ditch Rapinoe. [more...]
Why are Red State Dem Senators Voting for David Chipman?
The White House is pulling out all the stops to push through
David Chipman’s confirmation to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms,
and Explosives (ATF). And Democrats want the vote to take place this week.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claims that the largely Republican
opposition to Chipman "speaks volumes to their complete refusal to tackle
this spike in crime we've seen over the last 18 months." Of course, the
Biden administration's focus on gun control to control violent crime ignores
that 92% of violent crime has nothing to do with guns. But with Democrats
controlling the Senate, they don’t need any Republican votes to confirm
him. [more...]
