Reagan and Trump on Afghanistan
In his new book, TRUMP AND REAGAN: Defenders of America,
internationally renowned speaker, Nick
Adams, analyzes the two greatest modern-day presidents - and
their records in defending America. He says neither Trump nor Reagan would ever
have allowed what has happened in Afghanistan. They had identical views on the
military - non-interventionist and keeping the peace through strength - a style
and substance of leadership non-existent in the Biden White House, but
desperately needed. [more...]
Biden's Vietnam 2.0
By Judd Dunning
Afghanistan. Welcome to Biden's Vietnam 2.0, America. Ask
yourself why America leads as the world's reluctant interventionist? It's
because we fight for freedom. We shouldn't bail on human beings just because
Democrats want to be home repressing their own people and spending trillions on
pork rather than protecting basic human freedom. Contrary to Oliver Stone,
Howard Zinn and all the 1619 proponents, we are not nation-builders or Monroe
Doctrine throwback freaks. Beloved Old Glory was torn down as Biden instructed
our $700 million dollar embassy to be abandoned and its staff to destroy
all American flags so as not to be "misused in propaganda
efforts." The U.S. abandoned our embassy. The Taliban now "sit
amongst extreme wealth in the Kabul presidential palace." [more...]
Our $28 Trillion National Debt is Coming Due
Last September, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) predicted
the federal debt wouldn’t hit $29 trillion until 2028.
Just short of a year later, the national debt stands at $28.6 trillion and is set to surpass $29 trillion
within weeks. Since Congress hasn't yet enacted all its new spending proposals,
the CBO debt estimates don't yet include them. The $1.2
trillion “infrastructure” bill still has to pass the House, and a $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation
bill will add to the current budget. The proposed 2022 budget will
likely be more than $6 trillion (up from $4.8 trillion in 2020). [more...]
China Solar Moves to Asia
By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America
China solar companies were whacked with high tariffs due to
their "dumping" products in the U.S. from 2005 to around 2011. It
killed the U.S. industry. But 100% tariffs brought it back. Then Trump slapped
an additional 20% on all solar panels made anywhere in the world, not just in
China. Thanks to cheap labor, weak enviro rules, and currencies worth peanuts,
the 20% is not a big deal for American importers. So, China, in order to avoid
the 100% tariffs on them, is moving part of their solar business to southeast
Asia. And now Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysian-made solar panels are flooding
the market at a time when the Biden administration wants to turn off the oil
and gas spigot. [more...]
Why the Taliban Won
By Steve Turley
On August 15th, 2021, the world changed. As American troops
withdrew from Afghanistan, the Taliban stunned the world by seizing the capital
city of Kabul in mere days. Scenes of tens of thousands of Afghans flooding the
Kabul airport desperate to flee their country shocked viewers around the globe.
The hope of a pro-Western Afghan democratic republic crumbled in the blink of
an eye. How did the Taliban do this? [more...]
Travis Tritt's Quarter Notes
By James Hirsen
Travis Tritt recently shared his perspective on some of the
current vaccination policies that are being implemented within the
entertainment industry and in certain municipalities. "In light of
recently announced policies and mandates from some entertainment companies,
promoters, and local municipalities which would discriminate against specific
concert attendees who are not vaccinated, I feel compelled to make a statement,"
Tritt said in a press release provided to the media. Although not
specifically singled out by Tritt, the largest concert promoters in the country
recently announced some unprecedented medical mandate requirements for concert
attendees. [more...]
Our Mistaken Ideas About Human Rights Failed Us in Afghanistan
Human rights are not a government, they're a culture. America
was founded on that simple premise. The Declaration of Independence's
conviction in the equality of men, individual rights, and governments gaining
their authority from the consent of the governed was based on "self-evident"
truths. These truths are "self-evident" to Americans in the way that
they're not self-evident to the average Afghan, Pakistani, Iraqi, Russian,
South African or Chinese citizen. They have their own truths that are equally "self-evident"
to them based on their own worldview and culture. [more...]
