The Courageous Story of 'The White Rose'
By Patrick Wood
There was a movement in Nazi Germany in 1942 called The
White Rose. Its members wrote and distributed leaflets to thousands of students
and German households before they were arrested and put on trial. The first
leaflet set the tone for the entire resistance movement: Nothing is
more shameful to a civilized nation than to allow itself to be "governed"
by an irresponsible clique of sovereigns who have given themselves over to dark
urges - and that without resisting. In similar fashion, is today's
America run by an "irresponsible clique of sovereigns"? Yes! Have our
American sovereigns "given themselves over to dark urges"? Yes! Are
Americans being censored, cancelled, denied free speech and forced into
compliance against their own will and conscience? Yes! The White Rose is
speaking to us today. [more...]
Mexico's Dishonest Lawsuit Against American Gun Makers
Biden keeps telling Americans "(gun makers are)
the only outfit that is exempt from being sued." Apparently, someone
forgot to tell the Mexican government about that. Last week, they sued several
U.S. gun makers, seeking $10 billion in damages. They claim that
the companies are "conscious of the fact that their products are
trafficked and used in illicit activities against the civilian population and
authorities of Mexico." Among those facing the lawsuit are well-known
names: Smith & Wesson Brands, Barrett Firearms Manufacturing, Beretta USA,
Glock, and Colt. The case was filed by the Brady Campaign, a U.S.-based
gun control organization. [more...]
Senate Infrastructure Gets Serious about EV Battery and Rare
Earth Supply Chain
By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America
Let’s hope this becomes more action than talk. But by the looks
of what is written inside the recently passed $550 billion Senate
infrastructure bill, a bipartisan group is getting serious about the EV battery
supply chain, and the rare earths that are quickly becoming the must-have
resource in a high-tech, post-fossil fuels world. Lithium, nickel, and cobalt
are some of the prime materials used in making the new, long-range batteries
that power cars. Rare earth minerals like neodymium are used to manufacture
navigational equipment on American fighter planes. [more...]
Biden Humiliated by the Taliban
By Steve Turley
Over the last 48 hours, the world has watched Afghanistan
fall to Taliban fighters. The Taliban has now effectively taken over a nation
that has been occupied by American and NATO forces. New footage has come out
from the nation's capital showing people desperately trying to board evacuation
flights out of the city as gunfire can be seen in the sky. There are also reports that
President Ashraf Ghani has left the country; he is now reportedly in
neighboring Tajikistan. The recurring refrain in today's media is astonishment
over the sheer rapidity of the Taliban takeover; they swept across the nation
and captured every major city and region in a matter of a week! This has been a
colossal collapse, made all the more shocking given that the Afghan army was
supposedly trained by the world's best military for the past two decades, to
the tune of trillions of dollars. [more...]
The Queen of Soul Credits the King of Kings
By James Hirsen
Aretha Franklin is recognized by multiple generations as the "Queen
of Soul." Now there’s a biopic that immortalizes her title. Director Liesl
Tommy explains that the film begins "with the church and ends with the
church." [more...]
Getting Rid of the CDC Would Be a Great Start
By Robert Curry, Author of Reclaiming Common Sense
Putting government experts in charge has been the goal of the
Progressives all along. From the beginning, they understood that
transforming America into a country ruled by experts would be an enormous
undertaking. Consequently, their plan was to do it step by step,
progressively. For over a century, the Progressives have been replacing
rule by the people through their elected representatives with rule by
government experts. They created an ever-expanding administrative state
composed of agencies like the CDC, and put credentialed experts in
charge. These experts were Progressives who immediately set to work expanding
the reach of the agencies they were put in charge of. This is known
as government overreach. Dr. Fauci has demonstrated for all time the
costs and folly of allowing ourselves to be ruled by government experts. Our
task is simple: eliminate the agencies of the federal government the
Progressives have imposed on us since 1913. [more...]
