With the news of the Vatican suggesting a level of acceptance of
LGBTQ+ that Pope Francis ushered in a
decade ago with his famous "Who am I to judge?" comment, Pastor
Lucas Miles, a trusted voice in the American church
who has consistently addressed some of the most challenging topics in
religion, says, "While the Vatican hasn't come out directly and changed
its position on the inclusion of LGBTQ+ individuals, the new study does seem to
mark the beginning of a progressive drift in that direction." He has
released a provocative new book, WOKE
JESUS: The False Messiah Destroying Christianity,
"What is probably most interesting is, for the first time, we are starting to see language like 'LGBTQ+ Catholics,' rather than Catholics who are struggling with sexuality, gender dysphoria, or homosexual tendencies. This is a marked shift in language that I think every Catholic, and for that matter, Christian, should be very cautious of and keep a close eye on the Vatican in order to see how they are going to move forward," says Pastor Miles.
