Brown, who is Joe Biden's pick to be the next chairman of the Joint
Chiefs of Staff is a full-throated leader of diversity, equity, and
inclusion (DEI) programs in the military. One example of his
"woke-ism" occurred early in the summer of 2020, as nationwide
protests and riots boiled over George Floyd’s murder, Brown posted a video
message that was unusually personal for a member of the Joint Chiefs.
The
recent Supreme Court Roberts decision in Students for Fair Admissions v.
Harvard abolished affirmative action as a legal practice, yet allowed an
exception for military academy after the Biden nominated Solicitor General
Elizabeth Prelogar asserted an argument, without qualification, that the military requires a 'diverse officer's corp,' ultimately
allowing military academies to continue selection for diversity over merit. [more...]
