Afghanistan Should Be a Global Energy Player... but it Won't Be

By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America

The media, others, are bemoaning the fact that the U.S. is leaving a whole bunch of resources in the ground in Afghanistan. Beyond the general chaos of the U.S. exit from that old world country, the handwringing over Afghanistan's oil and mineral wealth - from lithium for Tesla batteries to rare earths to power navigational systems on F16s - is mere drama for the media content mill. What's in Afghanistan's ground is staying in Afghanistan's ground. It has no money. It's poorer than Eritrea. And China, seen as a beneficiary, has had a copper mine there since 2008... they haven't dug up a single rock since. And probably never will. [more...]

Pfizer 'Vaccine' Was Not Approved After All

By Patrick Wood

Last week, the mainstream media complex was flooded with the headline "Full Approval!" for the Pfizer gene therapy injection. Let the vaccine mandates begin. Anthony Fauci was thrilled over this news, stating“you’re gonna see a lot more [vaccine] mandates because there will be institutions and organizations which previously were reluctant to require vaccinations, which will now feel much more empowered to do that.” But wait. Something is not adding up with this new stampede to get the needle into your arm. [more...]

Massive Backlash Against Woke Culture Will Destroy the Left

By Steve Turley

Shortly after it became apparent what an abject disaster Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan was turning into, several pundits couldn't help but see what appeared to be a glaring discrepancy. They noticed an incompatibility between the military leadership's commitment to winning wars and its newfound commitment to all things woke. I am, of course, referring to the stunning congressional testimony from General Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, back in June when he revealed that critical race theory and a commitment to wokeness had infected military leadership. Milley wants every U.S. military personnel to study critical race theory. The highest-ranking military officer in the nation is an ignorant rube when it comes to the Marxist filth that is CRT. General Milley's words and commitment to wokeness have unfortunately come back to haunt our military with the disastrous pull-out from Afghanistan. [more...]

Iconoclasts and Tories

By Robert Curry, Author of Reclaiming Common Sense

I have been writing a series of articles about contemporary thinkers who are considered to be conservatives and yet are at odds with the American founders. Broadly speaking, they write either as iconoclasts or as Tories. Brad Littlejohn provides an excellent example of the iconoclast. An iconoclast (the word means "destroyer of sacred images") attacks and seeks to overthrow traditional ideas or institutions. [more...]

Larry Elder - From South Central to Sacramento?

By James Hirsen

When it comes to the recall election that is presently taking place in California, Larry Elder could beat the odds and actually unseat current Governor Gavin Newsom. Analysts from both sides of the political aisle are expressing amazement at Elder's rapid rise in the polls. His emergence bears a remarkable similarity to another outsider candidate, who happened to have been a recipient of Elder's ardent support at the time – number 45 himself, former President Donald J. Trump. [more...]

Impeach Biden

By Daniel Greenfield

He committed treason. 13 Americans died. He should pay the price. When Kabul fell, the Taliban offered the Biden administration a deal. Either the United States could control the city until August 31, the terror group's deadline, or the Taliban would. The Taliban may have been testing Biden, wary of a direct military confrontation with a large concentration of American forces; but if so, they quickly learned that they had little to worry about. Instead of maintaining control over Kabul so that Americans could be speedily evacuated, the Biden administration and its cronies turned over the city to the Taliban. [more...]
