Elite Socialism Has Easy Access Through ESG

By Scott Powell

The United States has only 4% of the world’s population and yet it has generated 96% of the world’s creativity and 25% of its wealth. In large part, this has resulted from the U.S. Constitution that has empowered her people and corporations by limiting the prerogatives of government to encumber business and divert talent away from productivity. While average Americans are still recovering from the consequences of government's misguided lockdown mandates and policies to deal with COVID-19 - that resulted in shortages, roadblocks and failures in global supply chains, skyrocketing inflation, and disruption of the labor force - another more subtle but far-reaching development is gaining momentum behind the scenes. What the CHIPS Act Really Means for U.S. Semiconductor Manufacturers

By Kenneth Rapoza, China Expert/Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America

The U.S. is closer to passing the CHIPS Act into law, a $250 billion Senate bill of which some $52 billion goes to U.S.-based semiconductor manufacturers to build chip fabrication facilities, or "fabs," in the U.S. Hefty tax breaks and other incentives will make it happen, said Jeff Ferry, chief economist for CPA. The CHIPS Act passed the Senate on Tuesday by a vote of 64 to 33. The bill now goes to the House, where it can be amended. Regardless, we expect this will become law by August. After it looked like the CHIPS Act would die a slow death due to its inclusion in Congress' broader China competition bill, most recently dubbed the Bipartisan Innovation Act, major chipmakers said they would stop new projects in the U.S. without a support signal from Washington. That signal came this week when the CHIPS Act became a stand-alone bill once again. [more...]

Trump Has '24 Plan to Drain the Swamp

By Dick Morris

God Spared Me to Get Trump Re-elected

If former President Trump is reelected in 2024, there are reports he is going to work to drain the swamp of "deep state" career government officials by permitting the president to staff his government as one sees fit. Trump has long rebuked the "deep state," especially the Obama administration holdovers during his first term that he has said were leaking information from the White House to damage him and there were holdovers allegedly working to undermine his presidency. John Lott Opposes How the National Media Covers Mass Shootings

"Everybody from the Associated Press to the New York Times saying that these cases of a concealed carry permit holder or somebody legally carrying a gun stopping these attacks just virtually never happens, which is false," Lott said. "I actually did a report while I was at the U.S. Department of Justice showing that about 43% of these attacks when they occur in places where guns are allowed are stopped by concealed carry permit holders."  Lott vehemently disagrees with the way the national media covers mass shootings in the U.S. [more...]

World War III is Here and it's an Ongoing Psyop to Break America

By Scott Powell

The United States is in a world war, and it’s insidious because there is no shooting right now. Under banners such as "the Green New Deal," the "Great Reset," "Build Back Better," and "Social Justice and the Greater Good," this war is being waged by groups and cabals both within and from outside our borders. In short, we face irregular and unrestricted warfare against the sovereignty of the United States - the world's oldest constitutional republic that has provided more freedom and opportunity to its citizens than any other government in the history of mankind. Democrats Decriminalized Drugs to Help Black People. Black Overdoses Skyrocketed

By Daniel Greenfield

Last year, Squad members and leftist Democrats introduced the Drug Policy Reform Act which would decriminalize drugs at a federal level. The Act falsely claims that the drug war led to "the deaths of countless black and brown people." Rep. Cori Bush contended that ending "criminal penalties for drug possession at the federal level" would help "repair harm in black and brown communities." Beyond legislative and proposition decriminalization, numerous jurisdictions dropped prosecutions, lightened existing laws, and rolled back street level enforcement creating urban drug overdose paradises. China Export Controls

By Kenneth Rapoza, China Expert/Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America

In a roughly two-hour House Foreign Affairs hearing with a senior official from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) last week, the initial focus on export controls to Russia switched to export controls against China and its military contractors. The hearing pivoted rather quickly to talks about China. Over 600 companies are on the BIS Entity List with 107 new companies added by the Biden administration. Some Committee members asked why the U.S. was waiting for China to invade Taiwan before imposing more restrictions on high-tech exports, like microchips, which can be used by the military. [more...]

Indianapolis Just the Latest Time a Good Guy with a Gun Stopped a Mass Shooting

By John Lott

In Indianapolis on Sunday, a law-abiding citizen carrying a concealed handgun stopped another mass public shooting. But these heroic acts happen much more frequently than most imagine, because they rarely get national news coverage. According to my research, there have been at least 10 similar cases over the last year, and 21 since the beginning of 2020. And there is no reason to believe those tallies are comprehensive, given how little media coverage is usually devoted to these heroic acts. My organization has reviewed 64 total cases, but it is difficult to dig up cases from further back, since local news stories are likely to have disappeared from internet search results. [more...]

Dick Morris: Hillary Clinton Will Run Against Trump Again

By Dick Morris

It will be one of the great political re-matches of all time. Hillary Clinton will run again for president in 2024 to stop Donald Trump. Increasingly, Democrats and big media like The New York Times know that Biden can't run again in 2024. I share some of the backstories in my book about what his own supporters say about Biden behind his back. It's pretty shocking. These insiders know better than most that Biden's quickly declining mental abilities, coupled with an economy spiraling out of control, means disaster for the Democrats in '24. Already they are bracing for a GOP tsunami this year, which will sweep Congress giving Republicans control of both the Senate and the House. [more...] Get your copy of Dick's new book, "The Return."

AP Stylebook Finally Recognizes AR-15s Aren’t Weapons of War

By John R. Lott

The term "assault weapon" is nonsensical. Finally, the Associated Press's highly influential Stylebook followed by the news media is recognizing that fact. As the AP now acknowledges, the term conveys "little meaning" and is "highly politicized." Politicians will obviously continue calling AR-15s "assault weapons" and "weapons of war," as Biden did a few days ago. And many seem to think that "AR" means assault rifle when it stands for ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. But at least some of the media is now recognizing that "AR- or AK-style rifles designed for the civilian market" are fundamentally different than military weapons. [more...]

The United States is Already in World War III

By Scott S. Powell

Since war is universally understood as a military engagement between two opposing nations or groups of nations in alliance with each other, few realize that the United States is already in a war - a world war. It is not a shooting war such as we experienced in World Wars I and II, but the stakes are just as high and deadly. Waged by globalist elites and marketed under banners such as "The Green New Deal," "Build Back Better," and the "Great Reset," this war is being waged by cabals and organizations both within and from outside our borders. In short, it is irregular and unrestricted warfare against the sovereignty of the United States - the world's oldest constitutional republic that has provided more freedom and opportunity to its citizens than any other government in the history of mankind. Once you understand the basic facts behind this total unrestricted war, everything begins to make sense. The Art of Watching Government

By Judd Dunning

The great cost of letting a government expand is beyond question. Like nature, government abhors a vacuum. If too much space or freedom for American individual self-governance exists, government sprints to fill it. Biden administration big-government progressives have total disregard for middle class America and freedom. Reminding ourselves of what remains true is paramount. We needn't meekly accept government's augmented size and role. America’s government still remains the people’s to hire and fire. The first 10 of our 27 constitutional amendments were written precisely to ensure this. [more...]

White House Fakes New Fears to Manufacture More COVID-19 Hysteria

By Cheryl Chumley

Biden's top coronavirus wonks say Americans aren't doing enough to protect themselves against COVID-19 - but that luckily, oh so luckily, this White House is here to help. "The key feature of [Omicron offshoot] BA.5, that we know about, is its immune evasiveness - you can be fully vaccinated and boosted and still have a risk of a breakthrough infection," said Ashish Jha, the White House's top coronavirus response coordinator, in an interview with The New York Times. Just trust in government and all will be well. And guess what the government is recommending? Shots... More shots... More booster shots. More and evermore boosters and shots. As on cue, drumming up fears once again, comes Anthony Fauci. This administration would have Americans take shots forever - if not for this variant, then for that one; if not for that variant, wait for it, there'll be another one. Do they work? Eh, define "work." [more...] Get Cheryl's New Bestselling Book: LOCKDOWN: The Socialist Plan to Take Away Your Freedom

The Old World Order

By Daniel Greenfield

The new world order means world leaders gathering for a NATO summit that accomplishes nothing except the indignity of Finland and Sweden having to bribe an Islamist butcher in Turkey for the privilege of membership in the hope that if Russia comes for them, we’ll defend them. In the real world, Finland will be on its own just as it was against the USSR and Germany. The old world order is the reality that once the meetings are done and the conferences are over, every country is all alone. Virtue signaling globalism means that everyone will fly Ukrainian flags, just as they expressed solidarity with Hong Kong and will hashtag Taiwan. And then they’ll move on to the next political outrage, celebrity gossip or trending news. [more...]

The Escalating Violence of "Stranger Things"

By James Hirsen

Netflix's flagship series "Stranger Things" enjoys a huge audience and has been praised by critics for its writing, directing, acting, and more. Despite the fact that "Stranger Things" is a show about children and is highly attractive to children, it has a rating of TV-14, which indicates that some of its content may not be suitable for kids under the age of fourteen. In each successive season since its initial debut, the media phenom appears to have amplified the violence contained within. [more...]

A.I.: The Shadow of Frankenstein Lurks

By Robert J. Marks

Wrapping A.I. in an impressive physical package can magnify the perceived impact of new technology. Doing so uses seductive optics. The confusing of A.I. packaging with A.I. content was evident in media excitement about a Buddhist robot who delivers messages to the faithful. "The world’s first sutra-chanting android deity, modeled after Kannon the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, was introduced to the public last week," the report reads. The robot can "move its eyes, hands, and torso, make human-like gestures during its speech, and brings its hands together in prayer. A camera implanted in the left eye to focus on a subject gives the impression of eye contact." Technologically speaking, nothing special is happening here. The messages from the Buddhist robot are pre-recorded and not the product of A.I. [more...] Get the new book by Dr. Marks: Non-Computable YOU.

Russia and Roe are Crushing the Liberal World Order

By Steve Turley

We are witnessing history in the making; there's just no two ways about it. We are amid one of the single most significant sea changes ever to occur in political and economic history. Perhaps the most significant alteration to the world order since World War I, and two events, more than any other, punctuate this tectonic shift: Russia's invasion of Ukraine on the one hand, and the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe v. Wade on the other. Simply stated: Russia and Roe are changing the world like we never imagined possible just months ago. [more...]

Biden Unleashes DOJ, HHS to Shove Abortion Down States' Throats

By Cheryl Chumley

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the matter of abortion must be returned to the individual states and their respective legislatures to decide. Joe Biden’s response is to lock and load the Justice Department and Health and Human Services and sic them on the states until they comply with the pro-abortion crowd’s radical demands. Talk about thuggery. This is not how law-and-order nations conduct government business. [more...] Get Cheryl's New Bestselling Book: LOCKDOWN: The Socialist Plan to Take Away Your Freedom

Can A.I. Be Creative?

By Robert J. Marks

Some have claimed A.I. is creative. But "creativity" is a fuzzy term. To talk fruitfully about creativity, the term must be defined so that everyone is talking about the same thing, and no one is bending the meaning to fit their purpose. Let’s explore what creativity is, and it will become clear that, properly defined, A.I. is no more creative than a pencil. [more...] Get the new book by Dr. Marks: Non-Computable YOU.

Biden's Policy: Ukraine First. China Second. America Last.

By Kenneth Rapoza, China Expert/Industry Analyst for the Coalition for a Prosperous America

The Biden administration is doing what every administration pre-Trump has done: Get enamored and entangled in matters of foreign intrigue preferred by the intelligence community and defense contractors. While leaving the country to the whims of the market, a market that increasingly follows the whims of Washington. We've gone from America First to America Last... Ukraine first! The U.S. government has easily found over $42 billion and counting to send to war torn, bankrupt Ukraine. Both parties agreed to this in what basically amounted to an overnight session of Congress. The decision was made in a matter of days. [more...]

What the Death of Hollywood Means for America

By Daniel Greenfield

While old Hollywood had a reputation for being liberal, many studio bosses and producers were actually fairly conservative, and movies were the products of a tug-of-war with more liberal writers, actors and directors. Movies had to be able to play in theaters across the country and serve as broad an audience as possible. Movies of that era might be homogenized, but they were less likely to openly offend or antagonize audiences. Movie stars were expected to at least pretend to lead moral lives and keep industry decadence locked away behind closed doors. Today streaming subscriptions are replacing movie theaters and television networks. And that also means that Silicon Valley is replacing Hollywood. Netflix, Amazon, and Apple demonstrated that they had the capital to dominate the entertainment industry. This isn’t good news for the culture. [more...]

Democrats are Great for Republicans

By Cheryl Chumley

Democrats - and don’t forget Rep. Liz Cheney - are giving Republicans massive wind at their backs for both the midterms and the next presidential election. It's not just inflation and supply chain problems that are nipping at Democrats' heels. Those are significant; those present major headaches for almost everybody in America. But it's also Democrat lunacy that's showing as problematic at the polls. The socialists masquerading as Democrats in the House are shoving forward a transgender bill of rights, with more than 80 cosponsors, no less, that would add to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 protections for those who are born boys, but prefer to identify as girls, and for those who are born girls, but prefer to identify as boys - and that would, therefore, bring legal punishment upon anyone who chooses not to participate in the lie. Top Gun Maverick - Thrilling but Outdated by Today's AI

How realistic is the continued use of manned aircraft in light of today’s technology? Considering what today’s military drones can do, the story premise of the new Top Gun is technically outdated. The mission could be better executed by today’s drones, without risk of human life. Instead of riding your horse to the restaurant during a lightning storm, drive your Tesla or, better yet, get Uber Eats to deliver. Use the latest technology. How The Declaration of Independence Inspired George Washington's Underdog Army to Win

By Scott S. Powell

Deeply moved by the power of the Declaration’s words, George Washington ordered copies sent to all generals in the Continental Army

Most Americans celebrating the July 4 holiday don't fully realize that the power of ideas in the Declaration of Independence was the critical enabling factor for the Americans to win the War of Independence. As we reflect on the meaning of July 4 this year, we should celebrate and take heart that the same good ideas and principles - natural God-given rights - expressed in the Declaration of Independence that inspired Washington - are as today as they were then. With renewed courage, those who believe in these ideas will be empowered to make good triumph over evil. [more...]

What Does Postmodernism Really Amount to?

By John M. Ellis

Even its practitioners don't know.

If you want to know what postmodernism is, or just what the word means, you don't get much help from either its advocates or interpreters. Most words that label theories bear some relation to their content: words like "evolution" or "Communism" give you at least the beginning of an understanding of what they are about. But words, like "modernism," that refer only to an unspecified time have the drawback not only of omitting any kind of descriptive content, but also of allowing the passage of time to make their meaning increasingly uncertain. "Postmodernism" is doubly uninformative, referring only to an unspecified period that came after a prior time that is just as indeterminate. [more...]
