GOP Presidential Race Heats Up

What are the polls telling us? Since the second Republican Presidential Debate on CNN, the polls have tightened and four groups have emerged.  At the top, Tier 1 candidates are Donald Trump and Ben Carson.  What's changed at the top is Trump has lost momentum and is no longer climbing rapidly.  He has leveled out, while Ben Carson has come up and essentially met Trump in the low 20% range. In the latest NBC/WSJ national poll, Trump has 21% to Carson's 20%.  In the North Carolina Republican Presidential Primary poll by Elon University, Trump was at 22% to Carson's 21% - very close in both cases.  These polls are probably indicating a statistical dead heat.  Recall, too, Carson has huge favorability ratings which foreshadow potential upward polling pressure. Friend or Foe - What China's Data Hack Means for U.S. Security

It's like something out of a spy movie: a foreign nation hacks into a secure U.S. government network and steals the records of 22 million government personnel, including 5.6 million sets of fingerprints. CIA agents' identities are compromised, millions of government workers and contractors may be at risk to blackmail and identity theft. China made the Office of Personnel Management the victim of such espionage this summer, and only now has O.P.M. realized the full scope of the attack. After the breach occurred, O.P.M. estimated it lost one million sets of fingerprints. Thursday, however, the agency announced the loss of an additional four million. O.P.M.'s latest disclosure about the hack came just a day before President Obama met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The leaders of the world’s two largest economies met to discuss climate and economic policies, as well as present a strong union between the two nations. U.S. agencies such as the F.B.I. and Department of Homeland Security have yet to officially make claims against the Chinese government, but once Obama and Xi Jinping’s meeting ends, we can expect talk of some form of sanction or penalty. Biden Backers Emerge in Hollywood

Hillary Clinton recently made a cash stop at the Hollywood ATM via a $2,700 per ticket fundraiser, which was held at the home of Lionsgate co-chairman Rob Friedman. Interestingly, VP Joe Biden appeared that very same weekend at a celebrity-draped gala on global inequality, which took place at New York City's Central Park. At the Global Citizen Festival, Biden and First Lady Michelle Obama joined a long list of notables, which included musicians Beyonce, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, and Bono; actors Leonardo DiCaprio,  Hugh Jackman,  Kerry Washington, Olivia Wilde, and Salma Hayek; and technology magnates Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg. Biden's presence at the high-profile gathering seemed to add fuel to the burgeoning expectation that he is going to challenge Clinton in the battle to become the presidential nominee of the Democratic Party. Does the Bible Condemn Abortion?

Many on the Left and Liberal Christians are looking for an 18th Commandment or something that says "thou shalt not have an abortion." The Bible doesn't use the word "abortion." There is a Commandment that says, "Thou shalt not kill." Actually, if you study instead of just read, you will find it says "Thou shalt not murder." Big difference. Since a lot of you don't believe that the "cells" in the mother's uterus are a baby or human, this may go over your head. BUT God calls it a baby, a child, a being that He knew before it was conceived. [more...]

Pope Francis's Progressive UN Speech Avoids Confronting Islamic Jihad

Pope Francis addressed the United Nations General Assembly on September 25th.  He started out by praising the UN.  He then proceeded to challenge the world leaders and diplomats in attendance in the packed chamber. He called upon them to move beyond the "selfish and boundless thirst for power and material prosperity," which, the Pope warned, "leads both to the misuse of available natural resources and to the exclusion of the weak and disadvantaged." The Pope did not refer in his speech specifically to the Christian and Yazidi victims of genocide, slavery and sexual exploitation in the Middle East and parts of Africa at the hands of Islamist jihadists. He had a chance to confront evil and call out its specific perpetrators who are committing horrific crimes in the name of their religion. Instead, he chose to use much of his speech to call attention to more general environmental and social justice issues, which are his recurrent themes. [more...]

Hillary Clinton - Lying to Voters is "Badge of Intellectual Courage"

First, Hillary Clinton cashed in on Keystone pipeline backers by acting like she might support the pipeline. Then she needed the left badly enough to prematurely reveal her true position. She tried to blame her games on Obama and Kerry, even though they were playing the same game she was. Then she began babbling nonsense. Hillary Clinton is spewing nonsense that she doesn't even seem to understand. All that oil has achieved a different "different degree of dirtiness" with greenhouses gasses? [more...]

How much trouble is Hillary in? Which race – Republican or Democrat – is in more flux? Is Trump still dominating the GOP race? Has the Pope's visit enlightened our politicians? Why did Speaker Boehner resign? This – and much more – will be discussed by the POLITICAL INSIDERS – live on Fox News Channel this Sunday evening – at 7:30 PM ET. [more...]

Good Riddance to John Boehner

I’ve been a conservative politician, commentator, author, syndicated columnist and activist my entire adult life. John Boehner is the single biggest disappointment and failure to conservative causes in my lifetime. I am thrilled to see him go. Tonight I will be dancing in the streets.

My new book The Power of Relentless: 7 Secrets to Achieving Mega-Success, Financial Freedom and the Life of Your Dreams describes success as being a combination of relentless energy, enthusiasm, chutzpah (the audacity to believe you’ll always win), relentless commitment to your goals, a fighting spirit, and always fighting from a position of strength (relentlessly on offense, not defense). John Boehner failed on every count.

Compromise is fine. But waving a white flag at the first sign of battle is not. John Boehner was the Republican equivalent of the French army. He spent his career compromising before the fight even began. Worse, he defined compromise as giving Obama virtually everything he wanted. Compromise is when one party wants a 25% tax hike and the other party wants a 25% tax cut... and you compromise on "no change." No one gets what they want.

But if Obama wants a 25% tax increase in the middle of a devastating recession and the GOP would like a tax cut, it’s not "compromise" to accept a 20% tax increase. That was Boehner’s strategy. That is Boehner’s "record of accomplishment." He thinks giving Obama 90% of whatever he wants - even after a massive, historic GOP landslide - is compromise. He thinks that’s leadership. [more...]

Is Obama a Muslim?

Explain to me why it's such a big deal, or terrible act, or racism to wonder if a guy whose name is a perfect combination of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein might be a Muslim.

  • There is a worldwide war on Christians who are being persecuted and murdered. Not only does Obama say and do nothing, he has taken numerous actions (the Iranian Nuclear Deal being the most obvious) that directly put Christians (as well as Jews) in more danger. Strange behavior for an American president, whether Christian or not.
  • Why does Obama refuse to use the words "Muslim" and "terrorist" in the same sentence?
  • He refuses to even admit that ISIS is a Muslim group even though the name stands for "Islamic State."
  • Obama has quietly imported over 250,000 Muslim immigrants into America per year during his presidency. How many are terrorists? How many want to live under Sharia law? How many are on welfare, thereby overwhelming our system? [more...]

Letter to Pope Francis - World Needs Freedom to End Poverty

Your Holiness, Pope Francis: Welcome to America! I share your deeply-held concern for the poor of the world.  My concern for global poverty and destitution was so great that I left a good job in the world of high tech and decided to write books.  I also started Lameiro Economics LLC, a company focused on bringing practical economic knowledge about freedom, economic growth, and prosperity to America and to the world.  It has also fueled in part my interest in presidential campaigns and the presidency. To begin with, I want to say we both want to help all people, especially those who can't help themselves or who were born into adverse situations.  I think we both agree that we have a moral obligation to help the poor and destitute.  [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Fiorina - A Worthy Opponent

After the last debate, Donald Trump finally met a worthy opponent - Carly Fiorina. In August’s debate, Fiorina didn’t make the top 10; she was sent to the kids' table for the much less viewed undercard debate. Fiorina made such an impact, however, that CNN amended its policy to allow her, the 11th candidate, to participate in the primetime GOP debate. Going into the debate, Fiorina was an outsider to Washington and a stranger to many Americans; however, over the course of the three-hour evening, Fiorina stood up against her competition and precisely laid out her policies and views. According to a Morning Consult poll conducted following Wednesday’s debate, 29% of voters felt Fiorina won with 24% saying Trump won. Polls taken by Gravis Marketing and other organizations published similar numbers. Moreover, 78% of voters now have a more favorable view of Fiorina according to Gravis. These polls are leading many, including myself, to believe Carly will soon eclipse Ben Carson runner-up to Trump. [more...]

GOP Establishment's Third Party Trial Balloon

The Republican establishment appears to be having an extremely difficult time trying to figure out how to best deal with GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump. His business success, coupled with his fourteen seasons on a hit television show that honed his brand as a solid decision maker, is part of the uniqueness that Trump has been bringing to the political world. Despite numerous attempts from various sources to thwart his campaign, Trump holds the top spot in a majority of the polls. This is throwing the elite political class, which includes high-powered politicians, major GOP donors, and a plethora of media figures, into a panic. Ironically, the business mogul himself is essentially a renegade of the donor class. Politico interviewed a dozen Wall Street executives and found that some were actually astounded by Trump's standing. "I don’t know anyone who is a Donald Trump supporter. I don't know anyone who knows anyone who is a Donald Trump supporter. They are like this huge mystery group," a CEO said. [more...]

The Shutdown Can Be Our Fault

If by "fault," the liberals are saying it's the Republicans' "failure" that the government will be shutdown... I say we should own it! We should own the fact that we are willing to look at videos of babies who are still moving, yet being dissected by a group who says they don't do such things. We should own the fact that we are willing to look at those videos showing babies born at nearly full term after a botched abortion and then being killed in such a fashion as to be able to sell the body parts to "research labs." We should own the fact that we are willing to stick up for the unborn. We should own the fact that we are willing to risk losing our precious legislative seats to stick up for those who can't defend themselves. [more...]

The Pope Forgets the Oppressed of Cuba

The pontiff's visit gave the Castros what they wanted. In 1960, Cuban bishops declared that "Catholicism and Communism respond to two totally different concepts of man and the world which it will never be possible to conciliate." Pope Francis, however, contends that Communism is really Christianity. "The Communists have stolen our flag," he said. The Cuban bishops condemned Communism as "a system which brutally denies the most fundamental rights of the human being." Pope Francis's criticisms of the Castro regime were limited to oblique references, a plea for religious freedom for Catholics and general criticisms that could apply to Cuba or any one of a number of other places. He failed to even reiterate his old criticisms of the regime. [more...]

Fireworks at the GOP Debate?

Trump is leading the Republican nomination race and because many candidates are stuck in the single digits, we can expect big fireworks.  This might be some candidates' last chance to break out of their low polling numbers. Expect candidates to argue vigorously against Trump.  Expect some candidates to pick fights with Trump. Expect that the Club for Growth's (a group that seeks prosperity and opportunity through economic freedom) e-mail letter will come up during the debate.  Last weekend, they issued a scathing attack on Trump. According to the Club for Growth: "The Club believes that Donald is the worst Republican candidate on economic issues - plain and simple."  [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Refugees or Trojan Horse?

ISIS flags are being found among the so-called refugees. A captured ISIS smuggler confessed to bringing in over 4,000 ISIS fighters. How? Well, the Turkish border is over 550 miles long and is almost never guarded. While authorities are checking in the refugees and keeping peace in the cities, the borders and other avenues into Europe are poorly or completely unguarded. Picture after picture now shows these "refugees" coming in and fighting with authorities, beating the police with ISIS flags. The Germans are floored! They can't believe this is happening. One terrorist, posing as an "asylum seeker," was arrested in Germany after he was found to be in possession of boxes of fake Syrian passports for use by ISIS terrorists in Europe. Hungary has matched pictures of "refugees" and "ISIS terrorists" on the Internet. This is insane! [more...]

Obey the Same Sex Marriage Laws or Face Jail Time

Kim Davis is not an advocate for religious freedom. She is not an advocate for traditional marriage. She is a delusional, low-level civil employee who broke the law. On June 26, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the 14th amendment requires all states to issue marriage licenses and recognize out-of-state licenses for same-sex couples. Regardless of your opinion on same-sex marriage, the law is the law. There are processes to change the law, but it is the duty of no one to take the law into his or her own hands. Moreover, Kim Davis's job was to file marriage licenses, not interpret the Constitution. Davis claims she refused to issue marriage licenses to gay couples because it contradicted her faith – this is an impossible argument to uphold. By this logic, a Jewish postman could refuse to deliver Christmas cards.  It's ridiculous. Beyond the failed logic of Kim Davis, she directly violated an order of the Supreme Court. [more...]

Trump Dominates Late Night

Those who have been following the 2016 presidential campaign thus far recognize what a natural outlet late-night television is for Donald Trump. His first such appearance since he announced his presidential bid took place at the end of last week on the set of "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon. Ratings for the Trump-featured broadcast were the highest Friday ratings in 18 months for the infotainment program. According to Nielsen, the NBC late-night show attracted 4.5 million viewers. In his "Tonight Show" appearance, the GOP frontrunner was able to promote his campaign. In parallel fashion, he was also able to display a talent over which few of the current presidential candidates can presently claim, facile delivery of self-deprecating humor. [more...]

How Obama Bullies a Weak Republican Congress

Obama's position has been straightforward, at least privately. He will do whatever he wants and no one will stop him. He has repeatedly defied Congress and the courts to do so. While he plays the game of giving speeches in which he demands that Congress do X or Y, it's in practice shut out of the process. Here's how it worked on the Iran Deal: Obama made it clear to Democrats in Congress that he would implement the deal no matter what. The Republican leadership by now has gotten the message. The message is that Congressional voters are irrelevant. They don't affect policy unless the dictator-in-chief allows them to. [more...]

Political Correctness is Ruining America

Many Americans are posing the question "Is America Too PC?" The easy answer is, absolutely. The more important answer, however, is much more complex. Do we want all people to be treated fairly and provided equal opportunity regardless of their background and personal preferences and beliefs? Absolutely. Do we want America to be the land of opportunity for all? Absolutely. Do we want all legal Americans to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, as stated in The Declaration of Independence? Absolutely. Do we want people who desire to bring down the greatest country the world has ever known, a country that has provided more opportunity for people and advanced civilization and the standard of living more than any other country in the history of the world to use "political correctness" to destroy it? Absolutely not! [more...]

Root for Trump: Gone are the Teleprompters!

Leading up to Wednesday night's GOP Presidential debate, Wayne Allyn Root is the best person to talk about REAL people in America, what Donald Trump is doing to connect with Americans and why he is striking a nerve with the other GOP candidates, all the while touching the heart and soul of Americans who are angry and are sick of being lied to. Wayne knows firsthand the methods Trump is using to succeed because he, himself, has been practicing them for years on TV, radio, on the Internet and as a candidate and top-billed international speaker.

Former VP candidate and entrepreneur extraordinaire Wayne Root understands Trump's steps to success and reveals the secret to his surge in his new book, endorsed by Donald himself, The Power of RELENTLESS in which he describes in detail what led to the Trump juggernaut. Gone are the teleprompters! Gone is the phoniness... to be replaced by straightforward honesty. Wayne tells us in his book that with the right leadership, it's possible that we could be, at long last, moving into a new age of REAL PEOPLE in government - anti-politicians who get the job done, who work hard for the American people and don't try to confuse us with double-talk and false promises.

Wayne enthusiastically tells us: "I've spent my life preaching about the importance of energy for achieving success. My new book The Power of RELENTLESS is all about the #1 trait of success: RELENTLESS ENERGY... and it works! My relentless energy, enthusiasm and excitement led to 'The Power of RELENTLESS' being ranked the #1 best-selling business book in America and you, too, can be just as successful once you learn the 7 secrets to achieving mega-success, financial freedom, and the life of your dreams.

"Energy works and is at the root (excuse the pun) of all success. Energy fuels leadership. When you project energy, people want to plug into your electric socket. They want what you have; they'll follow you anywhere - just to feel that energy, electricity and excitement... just to feel ALIVE. Show me great energy and I'll show you a great leader. The GOP has lost the last two elections because of a shortage of energy. Most of the Republican candidates lack energy - the 'IT' factor of American politics. You either have 'IT' or you don't. Energy is precisely why Donald Trump, against all odds, is the leading GOP Presidential candidate. Donald has a level of energy that the others don't and he knows the ubiquitous teleprompter is a symbol of robotic laziness; so he speaks from the heart."

Nobody cares if Trump hasn't memorized all the names of characters in the Middle East. Americans care that he has decided to turn the focus on them and their needs FIRST. Trump is pragmatic and straight to the point and dares to utter simply what Americans are thinking... and most important of all, he has the energy to accomplish it all. From finding inspiration deep within your heart and soul - to branding - prayer and gratitude - physical fitness - a healthy diet - proper nutrition - to giving back to society in charity... you'll find it all in one concise manual for success: The Power of RELENTLESS.

Will Bush and Clinton’s New Strategies Work?

Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton were both foregone conclusions in their respective races for Republican and Democratic presidential nominations in the minds of the experts.  Yet both have dropped dramatically in the major polls in recent weeks.  Bush currently trails Donald Trump and Ben Carson, while Hillary is fighting back the unexpected popularity of Bernie Sanders and the potential entrance of VP Joe Biden into the race.  What's next?  Now both Bush and Clinton hope to shake off their opponents' respective surges with "new" strategies.  What are these "new" strategies?  More importantly, do these strategies have a chance of working?  [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Tom Brady Wins in the Legal Arena

Tom Brady is famous for his wins, especially in the final minutes of a professional football game. Most recently, though, the New England Patriots' star quarterback achieved an amazing last-minute victory in a brand new venue - a federal courtroom. Fans of the team are celebrating a legal determination, which is likely to result in Brady being able to suit up for the entire upcoming NFL season. Judge Richard M. Berman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has ruled in favor of Brady and the players association, which had sought to have the court overturn his four-game suspension, a punishment that had been meted out for the quarterback's alleged role in what has been referred to in the press as "deflategate." The Essence of Patriotism

As we approach the upcoming anniversary of the attacks of September 11th, we'll naturally see a rise in the number of flags outside of houses, along with a surge in people talking about national security, American exceptionalism, and all sorts of other reasons why our country is so great. At the same time, we'll also see a surge of anti-Americanism by those people who, no matter what the facts may be, constantly insist that this country has been the cause of all the world's problems since the dawn of time. Although the debates on these matters tend to revolve around all sorts of various perspectives, they always seem to be centered around a concept known as "patriotism." That being the case, it would make sense to take a moment to ask ourselves exactly what patriotism is, and what it really means. [more...]

Obama's Idea of Free Trade

The administration's inability to negotiate results in a devastatingly dangerous 'trade deal.' Leaked Trans Pacific Trade Agreement, (TPP), documents prove once again that the Obama Administration has already demonstrated that it can't negotiate its way out of a wet paper bag.  Desperate for some sort of legacy, the Obama Administration has been hastily trying to wrap up negotiations that would establish the largest trade agreement in world history.  But what he has 'negotiated' so far is devastating to American sovereignty and safety. Strong America has discovered a number of serious problems with the way Obama has 'negotiated' the Trans Pacific Partnership Trade Agreement, (a/k/a TPP).  Using one state as an example, we have discovered three disastrous things the Obama Administration is trying to slide into TPP... How to Keep China from Harming Your Stock Market Performance

The major U.S. stock market indices - the S&P 500, the Dow and the NASDAQ - each fell almost exactly 14% from recent summertime highs to August lows, culminating in a rapid spike downward on August 21st, 24th, and 25th. Each index promptly rebounded, then stabilized in a classic double-bounce chart pattern. It's important to understand several things about this stock market correction... [more...]

High School Reading?

Just a reminder, folks… never stop looking over your child's schoolwork. Talk to them about what they’re reading and talking about in class. And here's just one more reason why it's so important. Del Campo High School students are reading about the fictional Utopian city Omelas, where orgies abound, nude sex slaves roam the streets, and special drugs heighten the depravity with no side effects. Stay vigilant, people. Protect your children's innocence. They grow up fast enough without the school exposing them unnecessarily to drivel like this. [more...]

Why Republican Voters Want Donald Trump

I’ve said it before and I'll say it again, Donald Trump brings more to the table than any other candidate. First of all, Trump is not a career politician. This is huge. 73% of Republican voters want someone outside Washington; Ben Carson is the only other legitimate candidate who comes close. Voters across America disapprove of the current U.S. Senate (can you blame them?!) and this is another reason why Trump is polling so well – he is not part of the problem on Capitol Hill, unlike many other candidates. Another major reason voters love Trump is how well he represents the everyday American. Yes, Trump is a billionaire, but he can roll up his sleeves, throw on a ball cap and address issues the blue collar worker cares about. Trump will fight to get jobs back in America. His two-pronged plan will encourage expat corporations to move back home and will finally solve this nation’s illegal immigration issues. Many other politicians routinely get slammed for their out-of-touch interactions with the American people... but not Donald. [more...]

Is Trump’s Bubble about to Burst?

In a very surprising poll announced on Monday, the Monmouth University poll reports that Donald Trump and Ben Carson are tied in first place at 23% each in the poll of likely Republican caucus attendees.  In the Des Moines Register / Bloomberg Politics poll released one day earlier, Trump also came in at 23%, but Ben Carson came in at 18%.  It appears from the Monmouth University polling data, Ben Carson might actually have greater momentum propelling himself forward to the top of the Republican Party nomination than Donald Trump who has been doing quite well in recent weeks.  Let's look at where things stand at the beginning of September 2015 - about a year before the 2016 presidential election. [Go here for a complete analysis...]

The Bernie Sanders Story - Is America in Love with a Commie?

Bernie Sanders - a guy who proudly brags that he is a socialist - is now popular in America 2015. And America loves him. If Americans have become this dumbed-down, then we are in the end days of the USA. This is a come-to-Jesus moment. For almost a decade, I've been warning America that the Democrat Party is infested with socialists, Marxists and communists. Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Valerie Jarrett, Debbie Wasserman, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid all pursued a radical agenda damaging to capitalism, American exceptionalism, our great ally Israel, and to America itself.
