Complaints Mount Against Michelle Obama’s New Lunch Menu

In Wisconsin, high school athletes are complaining about not getting enough to eat each day, due to the skimpy new school lunch menu mandated by the United States Department of Agriculture and First Lady Michelle Obama. The story we published earlier this week on that subject is unfortunately not unique. Students across the country are complaining about the new school lunch regulations. Perhaps the real motive is to starve students into slimming down. Just ask students in Pierre, South Dakota who, too, are in an all-out revolt. "I know a lot of my friends who are just drinking a jug of milk for their lunch. And they are not getting a proper meal," says middle school student Samantha Gortmaker. Despite the fact that the new regulations have increased the cost of a lunch 20 to 25 cents per plate, it’s not pleasing students. [more...]

The U.S. Administration & Radical Islam: Downplaying the Risk or Down-Right Clueless

The recent out-of-control riots all over the Islamic world over an anti-Islamic movie which the majority of Muslims were not even aware of until the U.S. embassy in Egypt issued an apology concerning this low budget YouTube video, serves as another example of the lack of understanding by the Obama administration of how the Islamic culture works. Such an apology sparked an unexpected wave of violence that spanned from the far Western region of North Africa all the way across to South East Asia, resulting in the tragic death of the U.S. ambassador to Libya and the deaths of scores of other innocent people. It is quite disturbing to see this trend of an attitude of downplaying such major and serious terror operations which stem from the core agenda of Radical Islam. Either the national security advisors are not receiving proper intelligence or they are down-right clueless to the risk of radical Islam and are ill-equipped to assess the type of intelligence they are receiving. Romney is "Bullworth"

Do you remember the movie "Bullworth?" Warren Beatty played a candidate for the U.S. Senate who had a big problem: he told the raw, unvarnished truth. The media was shocked and horrified. Voters were befuddled and angry - at first. Can you even imagine the nerve of a politician talking honestly to the voters? Blasphemy! But guess what? Against all odds, Bullworth proved the media, the critics, the naysayers, the doubters WRONG. He caught fire. He attracted huge crowds. The people fell in love with this politician who told the truth, no matter whom it offended. The media was befuddled. It took a little time, but once voters realized the truth was... the truth... they started to like what they heard.  You may not like hearing the truth, but it’s always best for you. [more...]

Obama's Apologies Should Be to America, Not Other Nations

President Obama’s apologies to Muslim nations have done nothing other than reinforce that America has weak leadership and that our nation is like a dog that’s all bark and no bite. We need leadership that demands respect first and builds friendships after respect is established.

In my book, No Tomorrows: How to Halt America's Imminent Collapse and Return to the American Dream - And Why it Must Start with the 2012 Elections, one of the core problems that I identify our nation faces which sets us up for imminent collapse is that we don’t choose true leaders. We use all the wrong criteria for choosing them.

Even if people are right about Mitt Romney having a lack of personality (which I absolutely disagree with), wouldn’t you rather have someone who knows how to run something successfully and has a remarkable track record of past successes instead of a person who not only has no real work experience, but also has a record of nothing but failure? SNL: The Comedy SuperPAC

NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” is a late-night weekend tradition, which over the course of its extended run has used an assortment of contemporary political figures as comedic fodder in its trademark sketches. However, a curious thing has happened to SNL’s comical programming content over the course of the past several years.

The liberal bias that has been evident in Hollywood, and has now additionally permeated an inordinate number of our established media outlets, has also saturated the humor of the iconic television show. And the ideological comedic imbalance is hardly a laughing matter. Humor, if chosen to be used to the detriment of an individual, organization, or company, is one of the most powerful and injurious weapons in the social and cultural arsenal.

You may recall that negative humor was lodged against an individual by SNL during the 2008 presidential election. A caricature of then-GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin was created, and through the comic weapon of Tina Fey’s Palin impersonation, the caricature took hold in the pop culture and ultimately eclipsed the real Sarah. What Obama Must Do Next with Egypt

The president must tell Egypt in no uncertain terms that unless they condemn the recent Embassy attacks, there will be no more loans or financial aid, and they must go after the perpetrators of murder in Libya. And now more than ever, it is imperative that the president reemphasize his commitment to the safety and security of America’s one true ally in the Middle East, and meet with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu while he is in the country for the United Nations General Assembly session in New York on Sept. 27th and 28th. What is clear is that additional commitments by the U.S. to aid Egypt are far from enough to sway the view and future of the country in our favor. [more...]

The Taking of American Freedoms

Recent events, both at home and abroad, show the growing trend of misinformation, intimidation, violence and coercion utilized by those determined to force their will upon the majority of Americans while stripping them of their most basic freedoms under the Constitution. These tactics are being embraced by our current President and his re-election campaign. They are, in fact, tactics the President himself learned from Big Labor’s Gasping Dinosaurs, and which he has, ironically, condoned when he sits back and votes "present" as Americans at home and abroad are persecuted and attacked by those who cannot survive in a free market society without the use of force. These tactics have been chronicled in The Devil at Our Doorstep: The Taking of American Freedoms. [more...]

America's Foreign Relations are in Shambles and President Obama Only Has Himself to Blame

I’ve been amazed as I’ve been on radio talk shows across this nation over the past few months how numerous talk radio hosts have made the comment that the only thing that Barack Obama can campaign on is his foreign relations record, to which I’ve consistently had to ask, "What is it about Obama’s record on foreign relations that's so great?" The response is either "Um, er..." or the sound of crickets chirping. Then this past week we saw the Middle East erupt in violent protests, murder and destruction followed by more protests that have now spread to many more places around the world - the "fruit" of Obama’s foreign policy labors. Islamic Violence Needs No Spark

The Obama administration is willfully misleading the American people on the source of Islamic violence and throwing the First Amendment’s protections of free speech under the bus to boot. In full dhimmitude mode, President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and UN Ambassador Susan Rice have been busy blaming an obscure anti-Muslim video for the killing of our ambassador to Libya, John Christopher Stevens, and three other Americans on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11. They refuse to place the blame where it belongs - on the Islamists themselves who do not need an excuse to incite violence against the "infidels." Never mind that the interim president of Libya Mohamed al-Magariaf publicly took issue with the Obama administration’s apologist explanation for the killings of the Americans in his country. Is the U.S. Prepared for the New Middle East?

In the wake of the recent attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, one sobering reality emerged very clearly: the U.S. is not prepared for the new Middle East - not even close by any stretch of the imagination. Many current events and factors are foundational in reaching this heartbreaking conclusion. [Go here for a complete analysis...]

Obama Camp Uses Movie as Scapegoat

Over the last three-plus years, the Obama administration has taken the blame game to a new low. This would be pathetic in and of itself, but in the finger pointing process the administration has also cultivated a twisted sort of expertise in its ability to manufacture scapegoats and deflect responsibility for its own serial missteps.

Of course, the administration's tried-and-true target of blame over the course of Obama's presidential tenure has typically been former President George W. Bush, particularly when accountability for serious economic blunders has needed to be pinned elsewhere.

The most recent scapegoat that has been fashioned by the administration and affirmed by its mainstream media cohorts is some crudely produced film footage, upon which blame has been heaped for the assault on our embassies and the murders of the U.S. ambassador to Libya along with three of our fellow Americans. Obama's defense forces in the mainstream media have promulgated the narrative that on the eleventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, 400 people stormed a U.S. embassy as an expression of outrage over a movie trailer. Islamist Atrocities and Double Standards

"While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants," President Obama said in response to the brutal murder of the U.S. ambassador to Libya John Christopher Stevens and three other embassy staff members. Obama promised to "bring justice" to the killers. He has pledged to bring the attackers to justice and to provide more security for our embassies. That's fine as far as it goes. The problem is that both Obama and his State Department have denigrated the unique importance of free speech in the pantheon of American liberties in favor of protecting the sensibilities of Muslims who are offended by speech critical of their religion. The Killing of the U.S. Ambassador in Libya

It was only a few months ago that the people of Libya were liberated from the 42 reign of tyranny by Gadhafi, thanks to the intervention of the U.S. and Allies, Inc. Celebrations were filling the streets of the many major cities in Libya, and the Americans were held as heroes. Yet this week we hear of sad news from Libya that the U.S. ambassador and two of his staff members were killed in an attack by Islamic militants, known as Ansar al-Sharia (Eng. Supporters of Sharia) who were outraged over the recent amateur movie production by a U.S.-based group which depicts the prophet of Islam in some of its scenes - something that Islam prohibits. The amazing but puzzling thing about these savage actions is that it is done by a group of people who claim to be followers of a religion which they claim to be “The Religion of Peace.” Yet these actions and many others like them are the farthest from any peace, peaceful gesture, or even a hint of peace, for that matter. They are actions that are carried out by a cowardly group which aspires to dominate others, which has a global terror agenda, and which forgets any acts of kindness extended toward it. [more...]

Obama and Romney's Responses to Embassy Attacks Show Who Should Lead

In a clear contrast of leadership ability, President Obama’s and Mitt Romney’s responses to the attacks on the U.S. embassies in Libya and Egypt show who is truly qualified to lead our nation, especially at such a dark time in our history. One shows a foolish, immature view of how to deal with it and one shows how a nation gets respect in difficult situations. Once again, we see the obvious differences between two men who want to lead our nation while only one of them is qualified. [more...]

Egypt's 9/11 Remembrance

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s candidate who won Egypt’s presidential election, has received an invitation by the Obama administration to meet with Obama on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York later this month. But apparently Obama has no time to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when the leader of the only true democracy and our closest ally in the Middle East also visits the United States for the General Assembly session. Just how are things going these days as the Egyptian revolution against the Mubarak regime has morphed into the new Muslim Brotherhood-dominated Islamist regime? The Obama administration does not seem concerned, but there is indeed great cause for grave concern. [more...]

Chicago Teachers Union Uses Students as Props on First Day of Strike

On the first day of the Chicago teachers Union strike, the union had the gall to use student protesters as props in its fight for bigger raises, better benefits and less accountability. Not surprisingly, at least some of the student protesters had no idea why they were there or what they were protesting. These kids simply look up to their teachers and assume they are right about everything, and the union is willing to exploit their naiveté for its own purposes. One student, when asked what his sign meant, replied that he didn’t know and “some lady” gave it to him. [more...]

9/11/12: Are We Safer Today?

Eleven years ago a group of 19 radical Muslims hijacked four U.S. airplanes for the purpose of committing suicide missions against key structures, mainly in the Eastern region of the United States. The aftermath of this ruthless attack was the destruction of both of the World Trade Centers, damage to a section in the Pentagon, and the loss of more than 3,000 innocent lives. National security standards in the U.S., and globally for that matter, were heightened in order to protect innocent people from facing a similar tragedy in the future. But are we safer today?  For a complete analysis/status report on Al-Qaeda, Iran, the Taliban, the Muslim Brotherhood and more, go here...

Obama Should Make Ronald McDonald His Jobs Czar

President Obama's claim that he created 4.5 million new jobs consisting of, as usual, manipulated numbers trying to make people think things are fine. The real numbers are dismal and Obama’s plans for his second term are downright scary. America will continue its decline into the abyss of economic doom if we continue to follow him. Not only has the Obama administration had dismal job growth during its term, the types of jobs that have been created are much lower paying than those that have been lost. Most of the jobs are in areas such as food preparation, retail sales, customer service and home health. With that kind of record and the plans he has for the future, President Obama might be best served making Ronald McDonald his jobs czar! [more...]

Chicago Teachers Strike

Reuters: "School was out in Chicago on Monday and parents scrambled for child care after public school teachers staged the first strike in a quarter century over reforms sought by Mayor Rahm Emanuel and endorsed by President Barack Obama's administration. Some 29,000 teachers and support staff in the nation's third-largest school district were involved, leaving parents of 350,000 students between kindergarten and high school age to find alternative supervision." Martin Sheen Narrates New Film on the Chinese Threat to the U.S.

A new documentary is focusing attention on an issue that has frequently been raised by the Mitt Romney campaign and also remains of paramount concern to real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump. “Death by China” is a movie based on a book that was co-written by filmmaker Peter Navarro, who is also a business professor at the University of California, Irvine. The movie, which opened in limited release in selected cities, is already generating controversy. Critics seem to be sharply divided, with Variety calling the film a “lucid wake-up call to the imminent dangers of the huge U.S.-China trade imbalance and its disastrous impact on the American economy” and the New York Times referring to it as “unabashedly one-sided” and "short on solutions, other than the usual 'Call your Congressional representatives.'" Radical Islam at the DNC

Time and time again the Qur’an, the Muslim’s Holy Book makes it very clear that the ultimate purpose of Islam is to make the religion supreme and dominate over all other beliefs (including Atheism). However, despite clear evidence in the Islamic text, and despite the many incidents by its radical followers to fulfill this dangerous purpose of religious domination, many on the left are completely oblivious to this clear and present danger, which has been vividly expressed - not only by Islamic researchers and scholars, or former Muslims, but even by moderate Muslims as well.

The latest incident in North Carolina, allowing the Muslim Friday (Jum’a) prayer to take place in a public park on the Friday preceding the 2012 DNC convention, is a classic example of such ignorance on the left’s part by not realizing the hidden religious messages sent by the radical Islamic community to those around them. It is true that the U.S. Constitution permits the freedom of religion without any favoritism to one religion over another, yet lately it seems that the liberal camp is showing more favoritism to the religion of Islam over and above what is considered tolerable, especially when such favor is granted to the radical followers of Islam who are intolerant of others.
