Why Not Enforce Existing Laws Rather Than Push for New Gun Control?

By John Lott

With the mass murder of 18 people in Maine last week, gun control advocates are calling for more gun control laws. Right at the top of the list is a so-called Red Flag Law. Vice President Kamala Harris has already called for passage of Red Flag laws and an assault weapon ban. Unfortunately, much of the gun control debate pushes proposals that would do nothing to stop the attacks they would supposedly solve. The disappointing thing is that this discussion shouldn’t even be needed. [more...]

Top Priorities for the New Speaker of the House

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

After an epic battle, we now have a new Speaker of the House. I had no idea who Rep. Mike Johnson was; but by the way the Left is melting down, his Nom de Guerre is now “MAGA Mike.” Here are the priorities for the new House Speaker to make things happen and deliver results: 1) Secure the southern and northern borders and intern all Chinese paramilitaries immediately; 2) Immediate, 90-day impeachment inquiry focus on the Biden crime family; and 3) Hammer the Pentagon on wokeness. [more...]

Biden's Bigtime New Hampshire Blunder May End His Campaign

By Dick Morris

Joe Biden has blundered in New Hampshire; it may force him to end his reelection run.

Enshrined in history and codified in Granite State Law, the New Hampshire primary must be the first in the nation. Mindful that he finished fifth there in 2020, Biden's people forced the DNC to demand that New Hampshire cede its place to the more pro-Biden South Carolina. That didn’t sit well with the New Hampshire state legislature that superseded the rule passed by the national committee and insisted that New Hampshire remain the first primary in the country. Gavin Newsom’s Cozying to Godless CCP Disqualifies him for POTUS

By Cheryl Chumley

America doesn't need a president who kisses the feet of communists in China.

It’s one thing to maintain diplomatic ties with enemies so as to cooperate on matters of mutual interest and importance, such as economic opportunities or regional peace or human rights. It’s another thing entirely to kiss their feet. And California Gov. Gavin Newsom did much more of the second than the first with his meeting with communist dictator Xi JinPing. Can you say gold mine of communist propaganda? The state-run media in China certainly can. [more...]

China's Military Might - How'd It Rise So Fast?

By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst from the Coalition for a Prosperous America

The Defense Department sent its annual report on the Chinese military to Congress on Oct. 19. A few things were missing from that report: The DoD’s disinterest in removing its dependence on Chinese sourced supply chains for electronics and rare earth minerals used in making navigational equipment. Who helped fund China's rise? The answer to that question is American capital and American multinationals who turned China into the world's industrial powerhouse. No other developing country has risen so fast so quick, and the reason is not due to the genius of China's central planning, or the abundant labor; it is due in large part to American capital. The DoD helped create the monster they are now so worried about, and the average American defense contractor, like Raytheon, is not interested in changing that. [more...]

To Be Anti-Racist is to Be Pro-Hamas

By Daniel Greenfield

...and antiracism is antisemitism.

It didn't take long, not just for BLM chapters, but for Ta-Nehisi Coates (who used to argue for slavery reparations from the false example of Holocaust reparations) and now Ibram X. Kendi to make it official that anti-racism means supporting the murder of Jews. Ta Nehisi Coates, America’s most prominent literary racist until Ibram X. Kendi came around, signed a letter which claimed that, "on Saturday, after sixteen years of siege, Hamas militants broke out of Gaza" and then "more than 1,300 Israelis were subsequently killed with over one hundred more taken hostage." [Note the passive voice.] Instead of condemning Hamas, the letter claimed that "Israel is executing the largest expulsion of Palestinians since 1948 as it bombs Gazans without discrimination." We're Now in Phase 2 for the Middle East Theater of Operations

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

Phase 2 is the struggle for information warfare dominance and a 20-year campaign of Israel hunting down everyone responsible. Xi is already looking for his next arson opportunity.

We're in Phase 2 of the immediate Middle East Theater of Operations which is one more arson fire from Xi as he closes the gates on China in preparation for culminating conflict with America. [more...]

Orlando Shame as 11-Year-Old Boy Parades in Princess Gown for LGBTQ Crowd

By Cheryl Chumley

An 11-year-old boy pretending to be a girl - because, in large part, his parents have pushed him to believe that - donned a flowery princess gown and served as the grand marshal of Orlando's "pride parade" to the clapping and cheering of a crowd of thousands. These sick, evil people, along with the boy's sick, evil parents, will one day face an unimaginable wrath. Parents who let their little boys think they can be little girls are guilty of child abuse and should lose parental custody. And they also should be worried about what God does to those who harm the littlest. [more...]

CBP Warns of Hamas and Hezbollah Fighters on Southwest Border

By Daniel Greenfield

"Military age males" with "weapons" and "insignia patches" of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad

Having an open border also means having a big target on our backs. Beyond the millions of invaders, a more motivated group might decide to take a shot. And this CBP memo raises some serious questions. A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) memo is warning staff of the risk that foreign terrorist fighters engaged in the Israel-Hamas conflict could soon be attempting to enter the United States via the besieged southern border. U.S. Solar Industry Threatened by China's Overproduction

By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst from the Coalition for a Prosperous America

Chinese solar manufacturers could take advantage of the Inflation Reduction Act’s tax credits by opening plants in the United States.

As campaign season approaches, Democrats in Congress and the Biden administration will surely tout the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) as a major achievement. And thanks to generous tax credits, the 2022 law has spurred more than $10 billion in new domestic solar manufacturing plants. The White House reports that the IRA has already created more than 170,000 jobs, with 1.5 million additional jobs expected in the next decade. That sounds promising, but a new tidal wave of solar imports from China - combined with Biden administration decisions - could put it all in jeopardy.  [more...]

The War Israel Cannot Win

By Mark Tapson

The first casualty of reporting on Israel is the truth.

On October 17, as Israel waged a counter-offensive against Hamas in the wake of the Palestinian terror organization’s grotesque terror spree against Israeli innocents earlier in the month, a rocket struck the Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. Initial reports were that hundreds had been killed. Before any investigation or conclusive evidence had been presented, Hamas and Palestinian supporters in the media seized the propaganda opportunity to blame Israel for a shocking war crime. The far-Left activists at The New York Times ran a photo of a semi-demolished building which the headline suggested was the Gaza Hospital. It was an entirely different scene from the one in photos reported by other establishment outlets. That’s because the demolished building was in another location in the south of the Gaza Strip, not the northern area where the hospital was located. [more...]

Perry Johnson Stands with Israel as Terror Attacks Continue

Perry Johnson, Republican presidential candidate and outsider businessman, has announced his support for the nation of Israel as it continues to endure horrific attacks by terrorist organization Hamas. Perry Johnson said, "I continue to be shocked by the level of evil overtaking our friends in Israel, as they remain under attack by a radical terrorist group. Under President Trump's Administration, a historic peace agreement was reached. Joe Biden has rapidly undone all peaceful diplomacy in the region with weak Middle East policies and a six-billion-dollar ransom payment to Iran. The U.S. should not negotiate with terrorist sympathizers, plain and simple. Israel has every right to defend itself and its citizens. [more...]

Iran is Supplying Hezbollah with Weapons Through Syria

Hezbollah has at least 150,000 missiles directed at Israel spread in 40 towns in southern Lebanon that can reach all of Israel. Almost every home built in Shiite towns in southern Lebanon since 2006 has one room with a retractable ceiling for rocket launching. Their weapon depots are based under hospitals and schools. Not only does Hezbollah have a large ground force, but the militant group is stocked with a huge arsenal of missiles, long-range rockets, and suicide drones. They also just released a video showing their capability to strike American aircraft carriers with warship missiles. How Do We Remove Chinese Para-Military Personnel Who Are in America?

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

The advance force for invasion is already in America and more are coming.

America has a "little green man" problem right now. "Little green man" refers to the in-place agents that Russia has used in the past for invasions such as in Georgia in 2008 and Ukraine in 2014 and 2022. China has attempted to replicate this in Taiwan but a new national security law passed in December 2019 went a long way toward identifying and neutralizing this issue that dwelled in the legacy KMT political party. [more...]

The Israel Gaza War - We Must Choose Between Good and Evil

By Judd Dunning

The war between Israel and Hamas is not simply another entry in a long series of antiquated religiously feudal or geopolitically complex conflicts between the Middle East and the West. It's a real-time, blatant, merciless crossing of red lines with war crimes that can’t be ignored. The sheer savagery and darkness of this latest Hamas terrorist attack poses a profound and urgent question for all of us. What constitutes good and evil in 2023? There is no gray area when it comes to terrorism. Has good and evil changed recently? This is a question that can’t be dismissed, where one’s choices define one’s morality and character. Choose your position with care, for there is no room left here for moral relativism. A genuine carnage has occurred. There are no rationalizations to be made here. What’s black is now black as night and what white, white as day.

Skip 'The Exorcist: Believer' Remake and Opt for the Original

By James Hirsen

Hollywood heads are spinning over the poor box-office performance of "The Exorcist: Believer." The recent big-screen release is a remake of the original horror flick "The Exorcist," which back in 1973 scared the wits out of its massive viewing audience. The remake, with a budget of $30 million, only managed to take in $26.5 million in its initial debut. It then fell almost 60% in its second weekend, with a paltry $11 million haul. Critics and audiences were in agreement that the movie was simply a dud. [more...]

Iran is Supplying Hezbollah with Weapons Through Syria

Not only does Hezbollah have a large ground force, but the militant group is stocked with a huge arsenal of missiles, long-range rockets, and suicide drones. They also just released a video showing their capability to strike American aircraft carriers with warship missiles.

Iran is supplying Hezbollah with weapons through Syria. This is why Israel bombed Syrian airports and especially the airport in Aleppo and also bombed seven trucks carrying weapons to Hezbollah, which has weapons from Iran, Russia, North Korea and China.

Hezbollah’s anti-warship missile capabilities pose a major threat to our American warships stationed now in the Mediterranean. Hezbollah also has drones capable of dropping munitions supplied by Iran which could play a major role if Hezbollah gets into the fight. This will cause immense problems for Israel.

Did the Obama-Biden Team Tell the Intelligence Community to Put All Things Israel and Hamas Below the Cut Line on the Intelligence Priorities Stack?

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

Not well understood, even inside the world of the Intelligence Community (IC) is the Intelligence Collection Stack. Intelligence Community Directive 204 (ICD 204) lays out the process to establish the list of Intelligence Collection priorities. This is a very important IC list established to apportion the vast resources of the IC to the prioritized list. Above the line, IC resources are applied. If the requirement does not make the cut line, it means that raw intelligence may not be collected on the topic. The House and Senate Intelligence Committees should demand to know immediately, what did the Intelligence Priorities stack look like on October 5, 2023. Did the Obama-Biden team give the Code Red to put all things Israel and Hamas below the Intelligence Collection Cut Line? [more...]

Americans for Sale, A Billion Dollars Plus Change Per Head

By Cheryl Chumley

National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said in a presser on Sunday that so far, zero Americans captured by Hamas terrorists and dragged into Gaza have managed to escape - or have been released. Of course not. To Hamas, these are high-dollar items. And they know this administration will pay to play. Emboldened by a Joe Biden presidency that made clear, just a few weeks back, that the going rate per American hostage release is about a billion bucks, plus change, a head, these Hamas terrorists know a good thing when they've got it. U.S. prisoners are golden eggs to terrorists. Why release when you can sell? [more...]

Major Asset Manager is Investing U.S. Cash into China's Military-Industrial Complex

One of the largest U.S. investment management firms is investing funds into companies within China's military-industrial complex, according to a recent report from the Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA). Vanguard's emerging markets fund is funneling investments into 60 subsidiaries of Chinese military companies, some of which the U.S. government has subjected to export controls, according to the report from CPA, a non-profit that represents American manufacturers and producers. Vanguard has also invested in eight Chinese companies that the U.S. government has sanctioned for engaging in "the state-sponsored oppression of ethnic and religious minorities in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of Western China." Second Amendment Matters in a Time of Crisis

By John Lott

A Sept. 20 Jerusalem Post headline prophetically warned: "Israelis should carry guns on Yom Kippur, police say." But as of 2022, only 148,000 Israelis carried permitted guns in public for protection - just 3% of the adult Jewish population. Twenty years earlier, more than 10% of adult Jews in Israel had permits. Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid called the recent police statement dangerous. He echoed sentiments common among Democrats in the United States: "Calling the citizens of Israel to come with weapons to the synagogue on Yom Kippur is not a security policy. It is dangerous populism." [more...]

Anti-Trump Judge Imposes Gag Order Preventing Trump from Calling Her Names

Biden is a Dangerous Leader for the Times

By Cheryl Chumley

While Israelis were getting bombed, Joe Biden was barbecuing and influential members serving this administration were busily helping spy for Iran. Any questions? U.S. Textile Industry Faced with Flooded Asian Goods, Ask Senate for Help

By Kenneth Rapoza

The U.S. textile industry – from yarn to finished products like T-shirts – is seeing an increase in products coming into the country and is at wit’s end to hold onto market share. Part of it is coming in through de minimis, the rest is coming through traditional channels, including from China, where the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Law (UFLPA) was supposed to curtail imports of goods made from cotton in Xinjiang. Mostly all of China’s cotton is sourced from there, a place believed to be crawling with forced labor and prison labor programs. Late last month, industry representatives asked the Senate for some help. [more...]

Black Lives Matter Endorses Hamas Murder of Babies

By Daniel Greenfield

BLM Grassroots is feuding with the original BLM. It’s dominated by Melina Abdullah, the former chair of pan-African studies at California State University, who is violently antisemitic. So, the BLM Grassroots statement endorsing the Hamas kidnapping, murder, rape and torture of women and children comes as little surprise. Abdullah had previously linked BLM to supporting Islamic terrorism against Israel. Now in the face of the Hamas attacks, BLM Grassroots declared that “resistance must not be condemned but understood as a desperate act of self-defense.” How raping girls and killing babies is a “desperate act of self-defense” is something Abdullah might help clarify. 3% of Jewish Population in Israel Carry Guns

By John Lott

Hamas attacked as Israelis were wrapping up the seven-day-long Jewish festival of Sukkot on Saturday. By Sunday, over 700 Israelis and some Americans had been murdered, thousands wounded, and hundreds more taken hostage. Hamas terrorists went into civilian areas and attacked defenseless people walking down the streets or shopping in stores. On September 20th, the Jerusalem Post headline prophetically warned: “Israelis should carry guns on Yom Kippur, police say.” But as of 2022, only 148,000 Israelis carried permitted guns in public for protection – just 3% of the adult, Jewish population. Twenty years earlier, more than 10% of adult Jews had permits. Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid called the recent police statement “dangerous.” He echoed sentiments common among Democrats in the United States: “Calling the citizens of Israel to come with weapons to the synagogue on Yom Kippur is not a security policy, it is dangerous populism.” Concealed carry is now much more widespread in the United States than in Israel. In 2022, 8.5% of American adults had permits.

The Victory that Saved Western Civilization

By Mark Tapson

This week in October marks the anniversary of an epic event that is not widely known except among history buffs, but which nonetheless dramatically shaped the future of the Western world, and which may still hold inspiration for us in the West today. After the death of the Muslim prophet Muhammad in 632, Islam spread like a bloody tide throughout the Arabian Peninsula, north to the Caspian Sea and east through Persia and beyond, westward through Egypt and across North Africa all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. From there it crossed the Straits of Gibraltar and consumed virtually all of the Iberian Peninsula, or al-Andalus as the Saracens called it. In a mere one hundred years, the warlord Muhammad’s imperialist legacy was an empire larger than Rome’s had ever been. [more...]

Perry Johnson, Republican Presidential Candidate, Slams D.C. Politicians Amid Leadership Fight While Inflation Soars

Perry Johnson, Republican presidential candidate and outsider businessman, slammed Washington, D.C. career politicians for engaging in a leadership fight while runaway spending and inflation are wreaking havoc on everyday American families. We have not had a Speaker, Republican or Democrat, in the last several decades who has taken our debt crisis seriously and now we’re in the middle of a crisis that continues to push inflation to historic levels, making everyday purchases like groceries unaffordable for American families. I’ve heard directly from people in Iowa and New Hampshire who are experiencing this everyday pain. Career D.C. politicians are asleep at the wheel while our middle class suffers. With all Treasury bonds now over 4.6%, and the national debt over $33 trillion, our country is on the brink of financial disaster. I don’t care who the Speaker is, but whoever is up next better start taking our spending and debt seriously. My Two-Cents Plan to Save America should be the first bill to hit the House floor.”

Trump is One Handcuff Photo Away from Historic MAGA Wins

By Cheryl Chumley

Democrats think they’ve got Trump just where they want him. Reality check on that: if Trump’s mug shot from his arrest yielded multimillions of dollars to his campaign for the White House - and scored even more for capitalistic conservatives who saw a goldmine in the photo and went for it - just think what b-roll and still shots from his court expressions will bring. [more...]

Sens. Manchin, Barrasso Sound Alarm on IRA Failings Related To EVs, Natural Resources

By Kenneth Rapoza

In a rare bipartisan critique of the Biden administration’s signature law, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and John Barrasso (R-WY) raised the alarm that the U.S. was far behind in certain key segments highlighted in that law that are linked to the EV supply chain. At the heart of the matter was the mined mineral resources used to make EV batteries. Last week, Senators on the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources lambasted the IRA in a hearing, all in agreement that American mining and permitting policies were a problem for building a local supply chain. Doubts have been sown on the U.S. being in charge of its green tech future. Manchin went so far as to say that the U.S. government was essentially “bribing” people and companies to go EV and that the entire power system of those cars are nearly fully dependent on Asian multinationals, led by China. NY Gov Blames Republicans for Border Being “Too Open Right Now”

By Daniel Greenfield

New York’s Gov. Hochul is stupid, but even she isn’t this stupid. The trouble is that no New York Democrat can actually state the obvious which is that the Biden administration’s policy of keeping the border open and shipping illegal invaders across the country is behind this disaster. NYC’s Mayor Eric Adams has come closest to saying it and came under fire for it. Gov. Hochul is further away from the crisis, and she can’t afford to be less popular. So Hochul can suggest that the border needs to be controlled, but that it’s the fault of Republicans that it isn’t. [more...]

Upcoming Supreme Court Cases May Help Restore Free Speech on Social Media

By James Hirsen

The Supreme Court recently announced that it is going to hear two major cases relating to the right of free expression. Both cases will examine the constitutionality of state laws that were created to prohibit tech companies from discriminating against social media platform users who are ideologically conservative. At the heart of the cases is Big Tech’s pattern of targeting and eliminating select content. The passage by state legislators in 2021 of the laws in question came in response to censorship of user-generated content, which was taking place on social media sites. [more...]

Trump Derangement Syndrome Infects the Journal

By Bruce Thornton

A petty and flawed attack on our last best hope.

Last week the Wall Street Journal published an unsigned op-ed unworthy of one of the best teams of commentators in the country. The subject was some comments Donald Trump made on Truth Social that, by surprise, displayed his trademark turbo-charged hyperbole. The Journal is usually a reliable source of sober, judicious, and fact-based analysis, but this editorial is a troubling portent that Republican Trump-Derangement Syndrome hysteria may have a negative impact on next year’s election. Trump’s heinous sin, according to the editors, is saying that “Gen. Mark Milley, the nation’s highest military officer, deserves execution - as in death. He said NBC should be investigated for treason and that the FBI should raid the homes of Senate Democrats. Then he accused President Biden of being manipulated by ‘the Fascists in the White House.’” [more...]
