The raid of former President Donald Trump's private residence at Mar-a-Lago might not be about securing an indictment as much as covering for the FBI's pursuit of Trump. We need to go from defense to offense on this. I think that one of the big reasons that the FBI seized those documents is that they incriminate not Trump, but the FBI in the Russia collusion scandal, in the scandal of spying on Trump's campaign, and in the scandal of fabricating evidence to the FISA court to lead to wiretaps on key Trump officials. To Restore Americans' Faith in Elections, Fix Sloppy Record-Keeping

Unfortunately, election officials across the country are not keeping the most basic data to monitor election outcomes. Even when they say they do, the numbers do not come close to matching up. It was a simple goal: match the number of voters with the number of ballots cast. After the last general election, there were concerns that ballots were counted multiple times (so that there could be more ballots cast than voters who voted) and that ballots were destroyed (so that there could be more voters who voted than ballots cast). But, through our examination, we learned that it cannot be determined if these discrepancies exist, because most states and counties simply do not keep timestamped records of who voted as required by law. The Gospel According to Joe Scarborough

Joe Scarborough, the current co-host of the MSNBC show "Morning Joe," seems to be able to act, speak and breathe very comfortably in a realm of irrationality. There are many puzzling things about Joe 2.0. But rivaling for most disturbing is a recent one in which he appears to move from presenting questionable news to preaching questionable theology. His current claim is that long ago Jesus Christ placed a sort of stamp of approval on abortion. Using his platform on MSNBC, he veered into what can aptly be described as a spiritual danger zone, twisting the Word of God to bolster a pro-abortion position. Joe told his audience that since there is no biblical passage to point to in which Jesus explicitly mentions abortion, then ending a life in the womb must therefore be acceptable to the Lord. [more...]
