Are Teaching Evaluations Sexist?

By Bruce Gilley, Author of The Case For Colonialism

A recent amicus brief from the AAUP is all light and no heat.

In August, the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) filed an amicus brief alongside the faculty union of Nevada public universities in support of the gender-discrimination claims of Alice Wieland, a former University of Nevada, Reno, business professor. Wieland, whose research is on gender discrimination, claimed that her tenure committee based its decision on her poor teaching evaluations from students, which reflected not her teaching but widespread sexism against women. The lower court tossed the case out on summary judgement. Wieland appealed, and the AAUP jumped in. As any academic knows, student evaluations are only one part of the teaching record that faculty present when they are up for promotion. Many other aspects are included. [more...]

Jews Under Mid-19th Century Palestinian Sharia, Versus American Freedom - Why Restoring Sharia Governance Remains an Unacceptable "Option"

By Andrew Bostom, Author of The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism

Israel Joseph (I.J.) Benjamin's observations from "Eight years in Asia and Africa from 1846 to 1855," and "Three years in America, 1859-1862," allow, uniquely, for a direct comparison of the condition of Jews in mid-19th century Palestine under the jurisdiction of  Sharia, relative to their simultaneous American experience under United States Constitutional law... Restoring Sharia governance to all of historical Palestine has been an Arab Muslim goal since former Ottoman governor of Jaffa, and President of the Arab Palestinian Congress, Musa Kasem el-Husseini's exhortation to the British High Commissioner in 1920. I.J. Benjamin's chronicle underscores why that should remain an unacceptable outcome. [more...]

Big Tech Companies Still Mad with USTR Decision on Global Data Storage

By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst from the Coalition for a Prosperous America

Apparently, global tech companies like Google are still up in arms over the Oct. 26 decision by U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai to pull out of the World Trade Organization’s joint initiative on digital trade. The administration's past proposal would prohibit the U.S. or any country from passing laws to restrict where consumer and business data can be stored by Amazon, Microsoft, or Chinese companies. Ambassador Tai rightly changed our position, in part due to the fact that Congress has been fiercely debating the issue but has not come to an agreement. [more...]

Taking Down the Deep State

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

DHS CISA receives the largest cyber budget increases across the U.S. Government - and government-sponsored censorship flourishes and hides in plain sight. DHS CISA has become the nexus for all things cyber in the U.S. Government. Their growth has been bigger than all the other cyber activities of the Federal Law Enforcement and Intelligence Community leaving FBI and others flat-lined on their budgets.  [more...]

Natural Immunity Proves Better Than COVID Shots

By Cheryl Chumley

Of course, don't expect Anthony Fauci and Big Pharma to acknowledge this.

A new coronavirus study from Estonia involving a pool of 329,496 adults just found that - in the words of one of the researchers - “natural immunity offers stronger and longer-lasting protection against infection, symptoms and hospitalization” than the COVID shots. Doctors and pretend doctors like Bill Gates and their money-making pals in Big Pharma may have bandied about this for years. But the rest of us who didn’t carry and try to conceal glaring conflicts of interest with the making and selling of these so-called vaccines knew early on they weren’t the little saviors of humanity then-Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Anthony Fauci and Biden promised - both of whom, by the way, said they were vaccinated only to later test positive for COVID... more than once. [more...]

Biden Demands Companies Bring Down Prices Because Inflation is Over

By Daniel Greenfield

Americans are suffering under inflation. Biden could stop goosing inflation by spending money like a drunken sailor to fund his political allies. Or he could blame companies for the existence of inflation. Was there any doubt Biden would go the Venezuelan route and blame companies for making up inflation? [more...]
