What Colleges are Teaching for $1.4 Trillion

Americans owe over $1.4 trillion in student loan debt. That’s $600 billion more than all the U.S. credit card debt combined. Have you seen the issues your children are exposed to and the classes you can help your kids purchase with your hard-earned money and tax dollars? A New York University Librarian says she has hit her “race fatigue” limit while being in the presence of “white people.” Some want to create safe spaces to fight privilege at their universities. Then there is Harvard University who wants to expel students who join “single gender” social clubs, fraternities, sororities, and others. The university has proposed completely eliminating all these and their “pernicious influence” on the students. How about they stick to teaching the core competencies? [more...]

Study Finds 25.5-Percent Dollar Overvaluation Spurs Trade Deficit

The Coalition for a Prosperous America (CPA) released a paper this week with an improved methodology for calculating exchange rate misalignment and its connection to the U.S. trade deficit, stagnation in wages and living standards, and slower economic growth. Michael Stumo discusses an innovative solution to the continuing problem of dollar overvaluation called the Market Access Charge (MAC).

“The U.S. dollar is 25.5 percent overvalued,” said Michael Stumo, CEO of CPA. “This bloated dollar problem amounts to a 25.5 percent export tax which U.S. businesses and workers must overcome to sell our goods and services competitively in global markets. Dollar overvaluation dramatically hampers President Trump’s ability to reduce the trade deficit, create good paying jobs and rebuild the middle class.”

The paper, entitled “The Threat of U.S. Dollar Overvaluation: How to Calculate True Exchange Rate Misalignment & How to Fix It,” reveals that the exchange rates of Japan, Germany, China, and South Korea are significantly undervalued, subsidizing their exports and severely limiting US market access. America’s Secret Plan for the Debt Ceiling

Sometime this October, the federal government is going to run out of money. It will be unable to borrow more until Congress agrees to raise the debt ceiling, a vote that some Republicans want to use to shrink the government. If lawmakers cannot resolve the debt ceiling issue, then the government may employ what Bloomberg News on July 14 called a “once-secret plan written by the Obama administration that would lead to the first-ever default on U.S. debt.” “Bond traders are worried that [President] Donald Trump’s Treasury secretary may have to use it,” reported Bloomberg. The Publicist at the Center of the Donald Trump, Jr. Story

These days the mainstream media seem to be myopically fixated on one news story alone, the one in which Donald Trump, Jr. had a meeting with a Russian female lawyer. While anchors and pundits endlessly obsess over the minutia of the meeting, attention on one key attendee named Rob Goldstone seems to be routinely overlooked, perhaps because his persona and identity do not fit well with the establishment media’s narrative of choice. Goldstone, a heretofore obscure entertainment industry publicist, is the author of the e-mail that facilitated last year’s meet-up between the president’s son and a lawyer, who ostensibly promised to provide opposition research concerning then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Here’s How to Solve the Healthcare Crisis

Liberals keep saying, “If Obamacare is so terrible, what is your solution?” Conservatives keep saying, “If the GOP replacement is so bad, what is your solution?” So, here’s the answer from a common sense, small businessman. Why does healthcare have to be so complicated? Why is Obamacare 2,000 pages long, with billions in spending and nonstop regulations? How about repealing and replacing Obamacare with one page, two tiers and seven simple points: [more...]

Pants on Fire!

On the latest edition of REVOLUTION_The Podcast... We look at the sudden transformation of the Trump-Russia Story from a "nothing-burger" to a "smoking cannon." We look at how the constantly changing descriptions of the Trump, Jr. meeting with the Russian lawyer have made even some pro-Trumpers begin to doubt the veracity of the White House. And we explore other new revelations about a possibly longer, deeper Trump-Russia connection. [more...]
