AP Stylebook Finally Recognizes AR-15s Aren’t Weapons of War

The term "assault weapon" is nonsensical. Finally, the Associated Press's highly influential Stylebook followed by the news media is recognizing that fact. As the AP now acknowledges, the term conveys "little meaning" and is "highly politicized." Politicians will obviously continue calling AR-15s "assault weapons" and "weapons of war," as Biden did a few days ago. And many seem to think that "AR" means assault rifle when it stands for ArmaLite rifle, after the company that developed it in the 1950s. But at least some of the media is now recognizing that "AR- or AK-style rifles designed for the civilian market" are fundamentally different than military weapons. [more...]

The United States is Already in World War III

Since war is universally understood as a military engagement between two opposing nations or groups of nations in alliance with each other, few realize that the United States is already in a war - a world war. It is not a shooting war such as we experienced in World Wars I and II, but the stakes are just as high and deadly. White House Fakes New Fears to Manufacture More COVID-19 Hysteria

Biden's top coronavirus wonks say Americans aren't doing enough to protect themselves against COVID-19 - but that luckily, oh so luckily, this White House is here to help. "The key feature of [Omicron offshoot] BA.5, that we know about, is its immune evasiveness - you can be fully vaccinated and boosted and still have a risk of a breakthrough infection," said Ashish Jha, the White House's top coronavirus response coordinator, in an interview with The New York Times. The Old World Order

The new world order means world leaders gathering for a NATO summit that accomplishes nothing except the indignity of Finland and Sweden having to bribe an Islamist butcher in Turkey for the privilege of membership in the hope that if Russia comes for them, we’ll defend them.
