Ending Lawfare Will Uphold Our Values, Rule of Law

By Judd Dunning

In recent years, the murky waters where law and politics converge have revealed a troubling reality: the calculated use of legal mechanisms as weapons against political adversaries. Nowhere is this more evident than in the relentless legal onslaught targeting former President Trump - a blatant miscarriage of justice with dire consequences. In the face of such blatant abuse of power, we must remain steadfast in our commitment to upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law. We cannot allow the scales of justice to be tipped in favor of political expediency. [more...]

Gaza Pier Under Fire

By Colonel (Ret.) John Mills, Author of War Against the Deep State

The Gaza Pier is already under fire from Hamas terrorists. Starting with the best of intentions, endeavors like this have a poor track record. One of the first things that should have been established is a C-Ram, a land-based version of the Navy CIWS to shoot down incoming rockets and mortars. Comms and security are always the first two things to ensure when establishing a forward operating base. [more...]

Never Accept an Unfair Voting System

By Fmr. Congressman Jody Hice, Author of SACRED TRUST: Election Integrity and the Will of the People

Elections are not ultimately about who wins or loses; elections are about the voice of the people being heard... period. The overwhelming majority of people can accept the outcome of an election (though they might be deeply disappointed if their candidate loses), but no one should be willing to accept an unfair voting system. Losing a hard-fought election is one thing; but losing by deceit and duplicity is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated. If the security and sacredness of elections are ever taken away, no action by the people can change the course and consequences that will result. So, the calling is clear, and the responsibility is undeniable. [more...]

Market Says Dollar Too Strong; Overvalued Currency a Problem for Washington's Reshoring Plans

By Kenneth Rapoza, Industry Analyst from the Coalition for a Prosperous America

The market is in agreement: the dollar is overvalued and will likely remain that way all year. "The strong dollar makes it much harder for Biden’s 'reshoring' policies to be successful,' wrote Steven Blitz, chief U.S. economist and a managing director of TS Lombard, a global macro research firm for investors. The mainstream economic view is that unemployment is low, and the stock market is strong, so the economy must be humming along.  But while unemployment levels are comfortable overall, manufactured goods production has failed to return to pre-COVID levels. [more...]

Americans, Even Democrats, See Mass Deportations as a Justified Means to a Necessary End

By Cheryl Chumley

51% of Americans say in a new survey that they're in favor of mass deportations of illegals, and oddly enough, a sizable share of self-identified Democrats are among those who agree. And with that - this: "Trump pledges that as president he would immediately launch 'The largest domestic deportation operation in American history,'" The Washington Post - and plenty of other media - reported a couple of months ago. Any questions? Biden, beware the elections. Consequences for open border actions are coming. [more...]

The Media Say Crime is Going Down... Don't Believe It

By John Lott

News outlets claim that Americans mistakenly believe violent crime is rising. A Gallup survey last year found that 92% of Republicans and 58% of Democrats thought crime was increasing. A February Rasmussen Reports survey found that, by a 4.7-to-1 margin, likely voters say violent crime in the U.S. is getting worse (61%), not better (13%). Journalists purport to refute this by citing official crime statistics showing a downward trend. Americans aren't mistaken. News reports fail to take into account that many victims aren't reporting crimes to the police, especially since the pandemic. [more...]

Makers of 'Naked Gun' Reboot Give David Zucker the Cold-shoulder

By James Hirsen

Following the trend in Hollywood of resurrecting successes of the past, execs at Paramount have decided to put together a remake of the original "Naked Gun." The casting of the remake is puzzling to say the least. Oddly, the filmmakers involved in the reboot didn't include David Zucker, longtime Hollywood director, producer, and screenwriter in the creation or production of the upcoming movie. Zucker and his partners had submitted a script to Paramount in 2018, and there were indications at the time that the studio liked it. However, Paramount somehow chose to go in a different direction. The filmmaker was stunned when he heard that the reins for a "Naked Gun" reboot had been handed over to others. [more...]
