Mamdani Would be a Disaster for Higher Education

By Adam Kissel, Author of Slacking: A Guide to Ivy League Miseducation

Presumptive Democratic nominee for mayor of New York City Zohran Mamdani would be a disaster for higher education in New York, with his policy of redistributing wealth for "equity" instead of rewarding merit. Making college "free" on the backs of taxpaying workers distorts the market, wastes resources, and entices many people into college whose lives would be better if they pursued a trade instead. My new book, Slacking: A Guide to Ivy League Miseducation, proves that Ivy League universities can no longer be trusted to produce well-educated students as it is; and we know the Trump administration has already begun targeting certain Ivy League universities with threats or actual suspensions of federal funding. These actions are often tied to failures to address antisemitism on campus, particularly in the context of anti-Israel protests. There is a link between antisemitism, socialism, and a social-activist curriculum. With the breaking news that Mamdani is the likely nominee, we are quickly learning the extent to which his socialism would be a disaster for New York.

Trump and Netanyahu: - Build Up and Countdown to Attack

By Todd Sheets, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

Recent commentary has been dominated by two enormous questions: What has the working relationship between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu been like as events led to Israel's attack on Iran... and: Where do we go from here? The second question was answered in dramatic fashion when B-2 stealth bombers dropped bunker-busting bombs on three of Iran's nuclear development facilities. Understanding the events leading up to this historic development reveals how we came to this point. In addition, reviewing this history sheds light on other important matters such as the campus protests that continue to cause so much controversy and the most relevant historical parallel for the current conflict. Illegal Immigrant Crime Rates Higher Than Cato Institute Wants You to Believe

By John Lott, Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime

The claim that illegal aliens commit crimes at lower rates than native-born Americans may look convincing, but it doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Cato has long pushed an open-borders agenda, an approach that even free market economist Milton Friedman warned would fail in a country with a large welfare system. Cato's continued selective use of flawed data only reinforces how unreliable its claims are. Its reports, widely covered by news media, continue to help shape public opinion, including its latest release, "illegal Immigrant Incarceration Rates, 2010-2023." The report claims illegal aliens commit crimes at half the rate of native-born Americans and that legal immigrants commit crimes at just a quarter of the rate. However, just like Cato's previous efforts, this report falls short of credible analysis. [more...]

Trump Announces 'Complete and Total' Ceasefire in Iran-Israel War

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

After delivering devastation to Iran's nuclear program, President Trump announced on Monday that Israel and Iran had agreed to a "complete and total ceasefire." This leaves us wondering: Does this mean that the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism can get back to its business of terror? Will the terror regime cease and desist from its chants of "Death to America" - and renounce its ideology of our nation being the "Big Satan" and Israel the "Little Satan?" And what happens when Iran goes back to its terror business? Finally, is the world simply going to stand by and observe the Iranian tyrants continue torturing their own people? [more...]

Bessent Defends Tariffs in Senate Hearing, Calls Critics Sufferers of "Tariff Derangement Syndrome"

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stepped into somewhat hostile territory in the Senate Finance Committee hearing recently. But despite dramatic criticism from Ranking Member Ron Wyden (D-OR) and other top Democrats on the Committee, Bessent took an early victory lap on tariffs, highlighted the importance of making the 'Tax Cuts and Jobs Act' permanent, and predicted more investment in U.S. manufacturing would lead to economic growth and increased tax revenue. Some of the attacks directed at Bessent were poorly grounded. [more...]

Midnight Hammer and the Politics of Choosing to Accept a Real "Mission Impossible"

By Greg Rabidoux, Award-Winning Filmmaker, Author & Cultural Commentator

The U.S. military operation, aptly code named "Midnight Hammer" was just about as good and thought out and precise an operation as the world has ever bore witness to and benefitted from. Iran, lusting to kill Jews and Americans, was ever so close to developing nuclear weapons through its uranium enrichment program some 300 feet underground, which took a direct and extremely damaging blow. In fact, several. From all accounts, Iran's nuclear program is just about back to square one. And the entire world benefits from a non-nuclear Iranian terror-state, who, for decades, has made their intentions, crystal clear: "Death to Israel. Death to America." For years, they paid for, trained, and ordered their proxies like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis to do their deadly, dirty work of killing Jews, terrorizing Israel, committing acts of terror and killing Americans wherever and however they could. And they were just about ready, willing, and very able to now do the job themselves. [more...]

Is AI Un-dumbing America?

By Kerry Lutz, Host of Financial Survival Network

For decades, Americans have watched in frustration as their country - once the world's engine of invention and rugged thought - slid into an era of shallow entertainment, crumbling schools, and short attention spans. What's left out of polite conversation is the truth: the dumbing down was not accidental. It was a slow, deliberate process - because an uninformed, distracted populace is easy to steer, easy to fleece, and too busy arguing about nonsense to notice who's pulling the strings. Ironically, the same tool many fear today - Artificial Intelligence - may become the wrecking ball that shatters this rigged system and puts the power of real thinking back in the hands of ordinary Americans. Illegal Immigration Didn't Just Rise Under Biden

By Judd Dunning, Talk Show Host, Bestselling Author

Under former President Joe Biden, illegal immigration exploded. According to new, well-documented findings from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), 6.7 million illegal entrants were released or otherwise allowed to remain in the United States during Mr. Biden's term. The total illegal immigrant population surged from 10.22 million in January of 2021 to 15.4 million by January of 2024. A 50% jump in three years is not "stagnant." It is historically reckless. By May of 2025, the number dropped slightly to 14.8 million. This decline was only due to President Trump's aggressive enforcement actions upon his return to the White House. Biden's legacy remains the largest single-term illegal immigration spike in modern American history. Beyond just allowing it, the Biden administration deliberately engineered this. The Biden border blueprint was chaos by design.

It’s Time the Right Rejects Our Worst Online Influencers

By Mark Tapson, Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center

With the well-deserved collapse of public trust in the mainstream media, there has been a concomitant rise in popularity of online influencers as sources of news and opinion. The upside is, there is a lot to be said for giving a massive platform to independent journalists such as Andy Ngo and Michael Shellenberger. But there has also been an alarmingly high number of social media influencers on the Right amassing millions of followers but delivering everything from misinformation to conspiracy theories to propaganda. The two most notable examples are, of course, Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens. [more...]

'Never Again' Has Been Tested for the First Time Since World War II

By Lord Conrad Black, Author of The Political and Strategic History of the World, Vol II

The famous pledge has been redeemed with the help of, in America, the world's most powerful nation.

The force and truth of the Jewish pledge "Never again" has been tested for the first time since it was widely invoked after the genocide committed against the Jewish people under the Nazis in Europe in World War II. That pledge has been redeemed with the vital and righteous help of the world's most powerful nation. Yet no one should doubt that if Israel had been forced to deploy nuclear weapons itself, in self-preservation, and in the absence of any other method of assuring the survival of the Jewish state, it would have done so. As Deportations Rise, The U.S. is on Track for the Lowest Murder Rate on Record

By John Lott, Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime

When you let law enforcement catch criminals, you will get less crime.

Murder rates are plummeting. While we still have more than half a year to go, Kash Patel, the FBI's director, says that the U.S. is on track to have the lowest murder rate ever. The current record low occurred in 2014 when the FBI reported a murder rate of 4.45 per 100,000. The question is: why? Law enforcement matters, but it is probably also that Trump is deporting criminal illegal aliens. [more...]

Newsom's Riots

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

There is no way to understand the sudden violent riots in Los Angeles which required the dispatch of the National Guard, without also understanding how California is actually run. The state is not, as its leaders insist, a democracy, it's an oligarchy run by a small group of powerful political interests, merging elected officials, unions and nonprofits, who move money looted from taxpayers, customers and business back and forth into each other's pockets. That corrupt system, which accounts for everything from high gas prices, the catastrophic wildfires and missing billions in homeless spending, exploded into calculated political violence meant to put Newsom in the White House. The riots entangled much of the political network around Gov. Gavin Newsom and the state's powerful Democratic Party power brokers. [more...]

Let's Make a Bonfire of Canada's Ghastly Wokeness

By Lord Conrad Black, Author of The Political and Strategic History of the World, Vol II

It is irritating and distressing to see Canada robotically following the British and French and two other countries in imposing sanctions on two Israeli cabinet ministers over their comments related to the West Bank. It is also annoying that our new prime minister, who squeaked to a minority victory through a histrionic imposture of a modern Churchill against Donald Trump's Hitler, trying to reconcile the extreme green zealotry of a lifetime with absolute commercial and political necessity, offers nonsense about "decarbonized" oil. The Left is Right - Trump is King

By Greg Rabidoux, Award-Winning Filmmaker, Author & Cultural Commentator

When it comes to visuals and villains, the left falls way short. They so want everyone to hate President Trump and MAGA Nation, but they keep fumbling the optics. The "No Kings" protests gave us a lot of signs about rainbows, transgenderism, blow-up balloons of a very orange President Trump, anti-DOGE signs, and pro-Hamas signs. This nationwide protest, largely funded by over 240 DNC affiliated non-profits with a reported $2.1 billion cash kitty, felt anything but authentic and organic. But once again, and what must really infuriate his critics, President Trump, who long before he chose politics, was a master brand builder and is truly the King of counterprogramming. Whether it's boisterous patriotic bashes, large outdoor rallies, exclusive media interviews or surprise podcasts with "breaking news" or "huge announcements" all timed to counter anything and everything the opposition tries, we have never seen this sort of dueling media mastery from the White House before. The L.A. Riots - Immigration and Our Biggest Challenges

By Todd Sheets, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

I believe our most pressing problems are a direct result of trying to absorb the impoverished workforces resulting from the failure of communism and of our own misguided government interventions and spending policies. The administration has already scored a huge victory at the border. Refocusing on finding and deporting criminals should help further de-escalate matters. If we re-ignite the type of economic growth we have experienced in the past, we will provide upward mobility for Americans and the demand for additional labor that will help keep the door open for the millions who dream of coming to America to work hard and create a better life for their families. [more...]

Worried about the National Debt? TrumpGPT to the Rescue

By Kerry Lutz, Host of Financial Survival Network

Forget the debt ceiling. Forget trillion-dollar coin fantasies. Here's what no one in D.C. wants on your feed today: America already controls one of the biggest Bitcoin fortunes on Earth - thanks to Silk Road, FTX, cartel takedowns, and maybe a hidden black-budget accumulation desk so covert even Congress can't audit it. And in January 2025, President Trump didn't just seize this narrative - he freed the man who started it all. [more...]

Trump's Tariff Play is Smart, Strategic and Already Working

By Judd Dunning, Talk Show Host, Bestselling Author

President Trump's latest pledge to slap broad tariffs on foreign imports has elites in Brussels, Beijing, and even Washington predicting catastrophe. They couldn't be more wrong. In reality, Trump’s tariff play is a smart and strategic move – one that’s already showing results for American workers and our economy. When Trump imposed tariffs on Chinese goods and steel imports in his first term, the establishment pundits and Obama-era economists wailed about impending trade wars and recession. Instead, the opposite happened. The U.S. economy surged. Unemployment fell to a 50-year low, over 500,000 manufacturing jobs came back by 2019, and wages at the blue-collar bottom were rising faster than those at the top for the first time in decades. Factories that had long been shuttered flickered back to life. The supposed "trade war" didn't tank us at all – it kick-started a long overdue revival of American industry.

Washington State Lawmakers Confirm They're Anti-Church

By James Hirsen, NY Times Bestselling Author, International Business Attorney, News Analyst & Cultural Commentator

The State of Washington recently passed a law that requires religious clergy to report information to authorities, even when the information is obtained during the centuries-old rite of Confession. Although there are other legal ramifications to the new law, of particular significance is the reporting of information involving the sexual abuse of a child that is obtained during the sacramental rite. Under the new legislation, clergy are required under penalty of law to report to authorities information that is acquired within the sacred walls of a confessional. In my legal assessment, this new law is unconstitutional, discriminatory, and selective in that it exempts from compelled testimony an aunt or uncle, an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) sponsor, a union representative, and an extensive list of others receiving confidential communication. Catholic priests, on the other hand, are left exposed to be subpoenaed. [more...]

Biden Made Communities Less Safe by Forcing DEI on Police and Fire Departments

By John Lott, Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime

The Trump administration has taken steps to free police and fire departments from the Biden administration's onerous consent decrees.

The Trump administration has dropped the Biden administration's push for onerous consent decrees on police and fire departments. These legal settlements micromanaged police operations and mandated DEI-based hiring and promotion practices. "These radical requirements seem disconnected from how police departments actually work," said Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon on Friday. "They tie officers' hands and make communities less safe." [more...]

How Can We Get Foreign Relations Back on Track?

By Todd Sheets, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

A simple framework for a system based on "putting your money where your mouth is" and a discussion of recent developments with Russia, Iran and China. The Trump administration is correct that it's time for a global reset in our trading and defense relationships. In addition to resolving our own financial problems and unleashing our economy, we should isolate our enemies while also working constructively and cooperatively to create balanced, sustainable and mutually beneficial trading and defense relationships with our allies. Today we face important challenges, but none that are greater than those we have overcome time and again throughout our storied history. [more...]

We Predicted the Immigration Riots (George Floyd 2.0) - But This Time, TrumpGPT is Ready

By Kerry Lutz, Host of Financial Survival Network

Minneapolis is once again the flashpoint, along with LA and many others. Another questionable police interaction. Another viral video. Another round of "spontaneous" riots...  that just so happen to be perfectly timed. This isn't a grassroots movement; this is a coordinated political operation designed to destabilize the country in the weeks leading up to mass deportations. Trump has already signed the executive orders. The California National Guard has been federalized and deployed. Anti-terror forces are pre-positioned in all major sanctuary zones. And TrumpGPT was more than three steps ahead the whole time. [more...]

Jihadists Show Up to Attack ICE in LA

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

Before the open borders' riots, LA leftists and Jihadists were able to freely terrorize UCLA, assault a synagogue and a Holocaust museum while going virtually unpunished. Their connections to the ruling elite were such that the Board of Supervisors voted to pay the legal bills of the UCLA thugs who assaulted Jewish students and community members, and the only people charged in the antisemitic riots were Jews who defended themselves. Now that same network pivoted to attack ICE. Some of them are waving Mexican flags, but others are wearing Hamas and PFLP gear. Graffiti includes attacks on ICE, but also on "Zionists." [more...]

U.S. Still Welcomes Legal Immigrants with Merit

By Judd Dunning, Talk Show Host, Bestselling Author

Where ICE is locked out of schools, cartels control neighborhoods, and American law no longer applies. As Trump calls for the National Guard to the L.A. ICE protests, L.A. spirals into chaos. Anchor-baby funding scams, fentanyl flows and foreign flags fly where U.S. sovereignty used to stand. This isn't immigration... it's surrender. I just returned from Italy. Stunning country. Culture, history, architecture - it's everything. But I followed their laws. You break their border laws, they throw you out. And rightly so. Yet in America, our laws, our borders are being violated daily without consequence. Why? [more...]

LA Rioters Want to Be Feared

By Robert Spencer, Author of Antisemitism: History and Myth

The rioters in Los Angeles have decided, as leftists and their jihadi allies so often do, to take the path of terror. They are trying to frighten the public into being too afraid to oppose the mass migration of unvetted people into the United States, as well as too afraid to support deporting all these illegal migrants. They want to terrorize the Trump administration and the public into accepting that the migrants are here to stay, or else. They’re doing this because the migrants are essential to the left's power base. If Trump succeeds in deporting a vast number of illegal migrants, Democrat states will suffer a significant decline in population, which means a significant decline in political power. Accordingly, CA Gov Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass have come out strongly in favor of the rioters and against Trump, insisting that he is acting like a dictator in calling out the National Guard to quell the unrest, and declaring that they're going to do everything they can to ensure that the migrants stay. Overregulation and Foreign Competition Dominate House Hearing on U.S. Seafood

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

At a June 4 hearing before the House Natural Resources Committee's Water, Wildlife and Fisheries Subcommittee, lawmakers and industry representatives expressed growing frustration with what they described as an overregulated domestic seafood industry that is steadily losing ground to foreign competition. Democrats mostly led on the discussion over budget cuts to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) with Rep. Dave Min (D-CA-47) taking what has become the standard Party response on trade matters. He came out against tariffs as a solution to the problems. [more...]

TrumpGPT - The AI Battle Plan

By Kerry Lutz, Host of Financial Survival Network

What if I told you that the comeback of Donald J. Trump in 2025 wasn't just the result of voter frustration, election momentum, or a series of lucky breaks? What if it was the result of a battle plan - AI-generated, gamed out, and executed with machine precision? The whispers began long before the election. Behind the scenes, a team of rogue technologists and political operatives worked with models not unlike GPT-4, trained not only on publicly available data but on deep simulations of political outcomes, psychological responses, legal pathways, and sociocultural tipping points. The objective? Prepare for every possible countermove. They knew the election would be contested. They knew indictments were coming. They knew mainstream media narratives would be weaponized. And they planned for all of it. [more...]

The Way Forward - From Consensus to Confusion

By Todd Sheets, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

President Trump's agenda is entering into a critical phase as his administration: 1) contemplates what to do with Russian, which keeps expressing an interest in peace talks even as it escalates war in Ukraine; 2) considers what to do about a trade agreement with China that suddenly seems to be at risk of collapsing; 3) tries to disable Iran's nuclear ambitions; and 4) works to negotiate new trade relationships with our friends even as we rethink our military alliances. It's safe to say that enacting the president's foreign policy agenda is proving more difficult than expected. [more...]

Trump's Playbook May Be Tossed, But Higher Tariffs are Here to Stay - One Way or Another

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

Is Trump's trade strategy in limbo? Yes, but 'Tariff Man' has options. The question now is not whether Trump can revive his strategy - but how far he's willing to go to finish what he started. The U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) in New York City unanimously decided last week that President Trump's use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) to impose tariffs was illegal, based on their reading of that law. But then, a higher federal court decided that the tariffs would remain as it reviews this case on appeal. So, where does 'Tariff Man' go from here? Trump has options. [more...]

Muslim Terrorist Tried to Burn Alive Elderly People Marching for Israeli Hostages

By Daniel Greenfield, Author of Domestic Enemies

The last two pro-Hamas terrorist attacks - the arson at Gov. Shapiro's mansion and the murder of two people at the Capital Jewish Museum in D.C. - were carried out by leftists. But actual Muslim terrorists weren't going to be left out. Shortly after the media pushed a Hamas hoax of an Israeli massacre at an aid distribution site and on the eve of a Jewish holiday, Mohammed Soliman attacked a group of people holding a 'Run for Their Lives' walk to bring attention to hostages held captive by Islamic terrorists. Islamic terrorism is always with us. The particular vectors may change, but the underlying reality is that it's cruel, vicious and evil. [more...]

The Truth about COVID Vaccines is Finally Catching On

By Judd Dunning, Talk Show Host, Bestselling Author

COVID didn't just damage our health system; it decimated our economy — and gutted the soul of the American work ethic. Entire office sectors collapsed as we created a new entitled class of remote workers, many of whom no longer serve their company, country, or community — only their own comfort. We saw a rise in anti-patriotism, self-centered labor activism, and a total abandonment of the JFK spirit: We forgot that true Americanism means putting your family, your team, and yes, your employer ahead of personal convenience. That spirit built this nation — not the soft, shrinking mentality of "me first" that's infected so many since 2020. Even the federal government is retreating from its own COVID narrative. HHS just dropped its recommendation for routine vaccination in children and pregnant women. Why? Because the science was never settled — and the truth is finally catching up. [more...]

Carney Continues on a Path of Mindless Globalism

By Lord Conrad Black, Author of The Political and Strategic History of the World, Vol II

Despite all the nationalistic noises of the new federal government, we appear to be plodding on in the mindless globalism of the preceding Liberal government. It was pleasing to hear the King assure us on the advice of the prime minister that Canada was moving into an era of greater strength and unity. Handing authority over pandemic preparedness to a front organization for the People’s Republic of China is not the best first step in charging out of the starting blocks toward this promised era of greater purposefulness. Boulder Terrorist Shows Why Leftists Love Jihadis

By Robert Spencer, Author of Antisemitism: History and Myth

Why do leftists and Islamic jihadis love each other so much? Two terrorists have recently shown us anew. As Mohamed Sabry Soliman started throwing Molotov cocktails at the elderly Jews who were peacefully demonstrating in Boulder, Colorado to call upon Hamas to release its Israeli hostages, he repeatedly screamed "Free Palestine." This cry has already echoed off the hallowed halls of our nation's great universities, courtesy of far-left agitators who have done their best to make campus life miserable for Jewish and pro-Israel students ever since Oct. 7, 2023. Is Harvard Still Committed to Veritas?

By Greg Rabidoux, Award-Winning Filmmaker, Author & Cultural Commentator

As Harvard students and faculty defend their school against Trump's efforts to eliminate antisemitism on its hallowed campus, one truth is inescapable -they brought it upon themselves. For curiosity, learning, and growth to occur, these campuses must be free of intimidation, coercion, retaliation, and of course, violence of any kind. And Harvard has been one of the biggest violators of betraying this sacred trust in learning for decades now. Along with Columbia University, both have had its hand out for so long, saying yes to every wealthy extremist, radicalistic, anti-American donor there is, they forgot that it's okay to say no and stay true to your core mission and why you got a tax-exempt status in the first place... which is a privilege not a right, by the way. Harvard and its faculty got into the business of training radicalized activists because it seems that's who was paying the bill. [more...]
