The Fabric of America

By Todd Sheets, Investment Banker, Economist, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

Like the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials, Martin Luther King's statue towers over his surroundings. King's courageous presence emerges out of what is called the "Stone of Hope," which itself has been drawn forward from two giant boulders known as the "Mountain of Despair." Just as Lincoln held us together in the 1860s, Dr. King's famous dream led us into and through the 1960s, a decade ravaged by assassinations, riots, and protest movements, all of which ripped at the fabric of our deepest beliefs about our past, present and our future. America - Blessed and Amazing... Communism Must Never Exist Here

By Judd Dunning, Talk Show Host, Bestselling Author

America is great. We are great because we were blessed, and we appeared just at the right time in history. We celebrate her and our part in making her great as well. As the late Dr. Charles Krauthammer noted, "If everyone is exceptional, then no one is exceptional." For hard progressive leftists, not normal, rational good Democrats like we've always had, and many of my dear friends still are, communists, socialists, globalists, and elitists, moral relativism prohibits any entity from being better or best. God is not sovereign and America is not great: these are their great lies. How Birthright Citizenship Will Harm the U.S.

By Louie Gohmert, Fmr. Texas Congressman

Last week, in a 6-to-3 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Trump v. Barbara that automatic birthright citizenship is a constitutionally protected right under the 14th Amendment. The court's majority opinion, written by Chief Justice John Roberts, affirmed that anyone born on U.S. soil and "subject to the jurisdiction" thereof is automatically an American citizen at birth, regardless of their parents' immigration status. I have read, highlighted, underlined and tagged the Birthright Citizenship opinion; and as a former Assistant District Attorney, trial lawyer, District Judge, Chief Justice of Texas 12th Court of Appeals and member of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee for 18 years, I am ready willing and able to give quite a scathing review of the Chief Justice Roberts majority opinion.

Dems Had to Pull Two High-Profile Candidates Over Sexual Assault in One Year

By Daniel Greenfield, CEO of the David Horowitz Freedom Center

A whole lot of politicians are scumbags. Sexual assault is far from unknown in their ranks. But having to pull two high-profile candidates in one election cycle around four months apart is not a good look. Worse still, Rep. Eric Swalwell was a sitting member of Congress and the front runner to become the governor of California (and then would have tried for the White House) while Graham Platner was effectively the party's Maine Senate nominee. And yet worse still, both Swalwell and Platner had multiple accusers suggesting that they were repeat sexual predators. There were ample warnings about both men. The Democrat party machine just chose not to pay attention until it became politically convenient to do so. [more...]

A Humanitarian Emergency in Seattle

By Michele Steeb, Homelessness Expert

The scale of Seattle's crisis is staggering... nearly 17,000 people are struggling with homelessness.

Seattle’s incoming mayor, Katie Wilson, will inherit a homelessness crisis that will define her ability to lead. Seattle's homeless population needs more than another round of aspirational promises. They need and deserve an operational reset grounded in compassion, accountability, and the courage to confront realities the city has failed to address for years. She must replace press releases and ceremonial groundbreakings for housing that may never materialize with programs that support the homeless in reclaiming their lives from the grip of untreated mental illness, addiction, and dangerous encampments that have taken root throughout the city. Congress Can Still Ban Birthright Citizenship

By Josh Hammer, Syndicated Columnist, Talk Show Host

The Supreme Court has committed a grievous moral and legal error in Trump v. Barbara, the landmark case on birthright citizenship. In holding that the 14th Amendment confers automatic citizenship on virtually all children born on American soil, the court has severely vitiated the sanctity of American citizenship - in this "America 250" celebration year, no less. Moreover, on a prosaic level, the court's majority botched the basic constitutional question. [more...]

CCP Committee Questions Reasons Behind Some China Investment in U.S.

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

The House Select Committee on the CCP's recent hearing about China's economic espionage and corporate influence in the U.S. suggests the Committee is taking China corporate investment here as a potential problem. Everyone has heard of the China IP theft. That tale is now as old as time. The news broke that Alibaba targeted Anthropic with a distillation attack to steal Anthropic's intellectual property.  But what seems to be taking shape now is building a set of questions regarding whether or not Chinese corporate investment in some sectors of the economy are warranted.
