Reintegrating Faith into the Nation's Approach to Homelessness

By Michele Steeb, Homelessness Expert

For more than a century, America's response to homelessness was rooted in faith. Churches, rescue missions, Catholic Charities, and the Salvation Army fed the hungry, sheltered the vulnerable, and most importantly, walked alongside them toward restoration. They innately understood a fundamental truth: Homelessness is a human transformation challenge requiring recovery, accountability, and the restoration of purpose. Over the past decade, however, policymakers have been increasingly steered toward a different conclusion. [more...]

Swalwell May Be Replaced by First Afghan Muslim Congresswoman

By Daniel Greenfield, CEO of the David Horowitz Freedom Center

...whose treatment of women is even worse than Swalwell's.

Who will replace former Rep. Eric Swalwell? It won't be some white guy. Here's the list of candidates. Aisha Wahab, an Afghan Muslim, appears to have the inside track and is holding the process 'hostage.' State Sen. Aisha Wahab's gender politics though make Swalwell look like a feminist. [more...]

Trump Talks Big but Acts Guardedly

By Todd Sheets, Investment Banker, Economist, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

A WSJ article this week blared the headline, "Iran's Regime Has Changed – for the Worse" - a sentiment expressed by many of Trump's critics. But we have to ask: do we really believe the new regime will be worse than the prior one that killed hundreds of Americans, thousands of Israelis, and tens of thousands of their own citizens? Worse than the regime behind the horrific October 7 attack on Israel? Worse than the regime that has long stood as the primary impediment to a more peaceful and prosperous Middle East, and that continuously violated prior commitments as they surreptitiously pursued nuclear weapons? It is still too early to call victory here. But the Trump hyperbole that brought Iran to the negotiating table and the naval blockade that has put further economic pressure on Iran and shifted control over the Persian Gulf were sound tactical moves, and entirely consistent with the notion that our president Talks Big but Acts Guardedly in the pursuit of noble causes. [more...]

Warnings of China Taking Lead in Biopharma Future in Latest Senate Hearing

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

If there is one thing that can be assured in a hearing involving a global business, it is that someone will bring up China's role in it. Their role is always on the cusp of eating America's lunch. "China wants to dominate the life sciences industry as part of their five-year plan," Brian J. Miller, MD, an Associate Professor of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine told the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee on April 16. [more...]

Human Cells in AI? Is Artificial Intelligence Going DEFCON Frankenstein

By Martin Mawyer, President of Christian Action Network

Americans already fear AI. So why introduce something that makes it even harder to trust?

"Human cells in AI." That's all most Americans will need to hear. It sounds like something out of a science fiction nightmare. And for a public already uneasy about artificial intelligence, it raises a simple question: how far is this going to go? Now, to be fair, what scientists are actually building is more limited than that phrase suggests. These are lab-grown human cells used in controlled environments, functioning more like biological circuits than anything resembling a human mind. But here's the problem: that distinction may not matter at all. [more...]  Subscribe to Patriot Majority Report

Do You Carry a Gun? Bad Idea, Says Hollywood

By John Lott, Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime

Stossel TV makes the case that Hollywood is not telling the truth. Why do TV shows lecture us about gun control? The Gun Control groups brag about working with the screenwriters and producers of the shows. They think they're making us safer. But even the FBI's data is not complete. Every place in the world that has banned guns, the murder rate goes up. A good guy with a gun saves lives more than anyone is reporting. [more...]

Calling the Pope 'Liberal'

By Dr. Paul Kengor, Author of AMERICAN PONTIFF: Pope Leo XIV and His Plan to Heal the Church

President Trump's Truth Social post against Pope Leo is unprecedented in the history of the presidency and papacy. No president has ever made such a statement, even as previous popes urged peace during wartime and opposed specific U.S. interventions. There are examples going back to Pope Benedict XV and World War I. Others are detailing examples from throughout the 20th century. They've continued into this century. [more...]

Media Knew About Swalwell for Over a Decade

By Daniel Greenfield, CEO of the David Horowitz Freedom Center

They sat on the story for 13 years until it was politically convenient.

"More than half a dozen interviewees independently named one California congressman for pursuing female staffers." CNN dropped that blind item into its story on sexual harassment in Congress in 2017 as part of its #MeToo coverage and then did nothing with it for 9 years. Nearly a decade after CNN had the story and sat on it, explaining at the time that it would not name the congressman because "the stories are unverified," CNN took credit for its "investigative journalism." CNN's Brian Stelter told CNN that the rumors had been "circulating for weeks" about Swalwell until CNN published them. He was only off by almost a decade. [more...]

Trump on the Brink or The Art of the Deal

By Todd Sheets, Investment Banker, Economist, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

Only Trump and his advisors have a complete picture of the options (and related risks) available to bring this war to its best possible conclusion. Contrary to all of the spin, he has earned our confidence and support in making that decision. In the end, the success or failure of Operation Epic Fury won't be determined by the spin-doctors. Rather, success or failure will be a function of whether this operation adds to (or subtracts from) all of the steps Trump has already taken to enhance future peace and prosperity at an acceptable cost. At this point, there are still too many unresolved factors to jump to a meaningful and objective opinion in this regard, but we will likely know more soon as these historic events continue to unfold before our eyes. [more...]

The Shaky Trump-Iran Cease-Fire Means Being Ready to Exit Any 'War's Over' Rally

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

The two-week cease-fire timeline may not be reliable. Will it hold? Nobody knows for sure. Recall that last June, Trump declared victory when the U.S. bombed an Iranian nuclear site. On Feb. 28, Operation Epic Fury began. Some would expect the Iran war to continue. If you believe that, you dip back into oil, invest in slower economic growth by buying discounted large-cap stocks and avoid emerging-market fuel and food importers. There's the "war's over" trade, and there's the short-term scramble to trade the two-week cease-fire and buy assets that got beaten up by the war, like airline stocks. But if the truce doesn't hold, investors have to be ready to sell in 14 days or less. If we start from the position that Trump wants to honor the cease-fire, then that leaves two obvious indicators to watch: What will Israel do? And what will Iran do? [more...]

Another Warning About the Upending of Civilization

By Martin Mawyer, President of Christian Action Network

Something shifted last week, and almost no one noticed. Tuesday morning, headlines warned about civilization being threatened by conflict in Iran. By afternoon, a very different warning emerged, one that may prove even more far-reaching. Not with bombs. But with artificial intelligence. Sam Altman, one of the leading voices in the race to build advanced AI systems, is now openly calling for what he describes as a "New Deal" to prepare for what's coming. A "New Deal" to deal with artificial intelligence. That alone should get your attention. [more...]  Subscribe to Patriot Majority Report

Trump vs. the Pope

By Dr. Paul Kengor, Author of AMERICAN PONTIFF: Pope Leo XIV and His Plan to Heal the Church

The escalating battle between the American president and American pope is prompting many conservative Catholics to choose a side, and to oppose their pope. Last week, Trump's approval numbers among Catholics dipped below 50%. That same group elected him president in November 2024, giving him 55% of the Catholic vote. That number will continue to decline as he goes after their pope with harangues like this. To be sure, he will still have plenty of Catholic supporters. [more...]

In Algeria, Pope Leo Hails the 'Rich Diversity' of Christians and Muslims

By Robert Spencer, Author of Holy Hell: Islam's Abuse of Women and the Infidels Who Enable It

Fresh from his widely reported contretemps with President Trump, Pope Leo traveled to Algeria on Monday, where the pontiff clearly intended to continue in the More-Peaceful-Than-Thou vein of his response to the president. While the president of the United States made war upon the Islamic Republic of Iran, the pope was showing by traveling in peace to another Muslim country that there was another way. Christians and Muslims, you see, could celebrate "our rich diversity" instead of lobbing missiles at one another, and live in "unity and peace" instead of mutual antagonism. But the land where the pope was welcomed Monday shows what happens when no effective resistance can be mounted against Islamic jihadis. The suicide bombings reinforced the lesson. But it doesn't appear as if Pope Leo XIV was disposed to learn anything. [more...]

The Crawl Toward Communism

By James Hirsen, NY Times Bestselling Author, International Business Attorney, News Analyst & Cultural Commentator

Communist ideology should have been sidelined decades ago. That's what so many of us thought was going to happen after the Soviet Union collapsed back in 1991. Instead, the malignant ideas and strategies of communism, derived from the twisted mind of Karl Marx, gained a significant academic, institutional, and cultural foothold in the Western world. Just about the time when the 1970s counterculture appeared to be fading away, a quiet yet insidious revolution was set in motion here in the United States. There was no red flag waving in the air bearing a hammer and sickle. Rather, a long march through American universities began to take place. [more...]

Tucker Carlson Blasts President Trump for 'Mocking Islam'

By Daniel Greenfield, CEO of the David Horowitz Freedom Center

Barack Obama said: "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." Now Tucker Carlson has said: “No president should mock Islam." Every former FOX News personality has turned into a CNN personality, and Tucker Carlson who already had shows on MSNBC and CNN, is going full circle, seemingly urged on by his extensive time in wealthy Muslim nations. Furthermore, at Turning Point USA, Tucker disavowed Charlie Kirk's warning that "Islam is the sword the left is using to slit the throat of America." [more...]

The American Pope and the American President - A Stark Contrast

By Dr. Paul Kengor, Author of AMERICAN PONTIFF: Pope Leo XIV and His Plan to Heal the Church

I just published the first major biography of Leo XIV. It's over 400 pages in length, with hundreds of endnotes. It's a deep dive. I've already done at least 50 interviews. One question I'm getting repeatedly, especially from Trump supporters, is why the pope is speaking out so much on the war in the Middle East. My answer is that popes pray for peace. That's what they do. And it shouldn't matter to them who's in the White House. That has been especially so with this pope. [more...]

Why Military Bases Should Never Have Been Gun-Free Zones

By John Lott, Worldwide Expert on Guns & Crime

It may sound hard to believe, but except for a very limited group of personnel, the military has treated its bases as gun-free zones. Until last week, only designated security forces – such as military police – could carry firearms while on duty. Commanders punished any other soldier caught carrying a weapon severely, with penalties ranging from rank reduction and forfeiture of pay to court-martial, dishonorable discharge, criminal conviction, and even imprisonment. That changed with a statement from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. [more...]

Trump Setting the Stage for a New World Order

By Todd Sheets, Investment Banker, Economist, Author of 2008: What Really Happened

President Trump's courage in committing us to change in the Middle East and Latin America and the deftness with which he and his team have so far executed on these missions has the potential to set the globe spinning in new directions. In this light, both his address to the nation and the events that follow could scarcely be more consequential. In addition to re-focusing America away from Europe's stagnant socialism and self-defeating politics and towards the dynamism of a potential Middle Eastern and Latin American resurgence, these developments are potentially devastating to China's global ambitions. [more...]

House Committee Discusses Project Vault and Need to Onshore the Critical Minerals Supply Chain

By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America

The Chairman of the House Committee on Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations said recently in a hearing titled 'Unleashing America's Mineral Potential' that critical minerals are a national security concern. We have to get as much production and processing in the United States "as quickly as possible," committee Chairman Paul Gosar (R-AZ-9) said. The creation of Project Vault makes that a consensus statement on Capitol Hill these days. For many in the metals and mining space, action is being taken. [more...]

The New Cost of Religious Belief

By Martin Mawyer, President of Christian Action Network

Across the Western globe, the treatment of Christian belief is shifting. Not outlawed. Not banned outright. But increasingly scrutinized, interpreted, and, in many cases, penalized. And people are starting to notice. In Sweden, a Christian family lost custody of their children after authorities began investigating their Christian beliefs, which included going to church three times a week. In Finland, a sitting member of parliament was prosecuted for expressing her views on human sexuality, rooted in her Christian faith. The lines of religious expression are becoming harder to see. The protections are becoming less explicit. And the consequences are becoming less predictable. [more...]  Subscribe to Patriot Majority Report

Science, the Bible, and America's Creed

By John G. West, Author of Endowed by Our Creator

My book, Endowed by Our Creator, explains the quote: "America is the only nation in the world that is founded on a creed," by English writer G. K. Chesterton after visiting the United States in 1921. "That creed is set forth with dogmatic and even theological lucidity in the Declaration of Independence; perhaps the only piece of practical politics that is also theoretical politics and also great literature." From the founding of America onward, the Declaration's propositions provided a justification for human rights, limited government, and equal treatment under the law to countless people around the globe. Those propositions also established a standard by which future Americans could judge the actions of themselves and their nation. [more...]

Nigeria - Three Jihad Attacks in 24 Hours

By Robert Spencer, Author of Holy Hell: Islam's Abuse of Women and the Infidels Who Enable It

President Trump said it on Nov. 1, 2025: "If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, 'guns-a-blazing,' to completely wipe out the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities. I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!" [more...]
