It's Time for Constructive Development Strategies
By Todd Sheets, Investment Banker, Economist, Author of 2008: What Really Happened
Today, we must get out and vote and then
concentrate on constructive development strategies. Let us
remind ourselves of what many seem to have forgotten. Before Trump, Republicans
had largely concluded that taking on democratic efforts to exploit immigration
for their political benefit was a no-win proposition, that cancel culture was
too threatening to directly confront, and that it was too late to turn back
efforts to replace our imperfect but ever-improving system of meritocracy with democratically
controlled political privileges doled out under the euphemistic title of DEI. While
many mistakes have been made, Trump has largely gotten the big domestic
economic issues right: deregulation, preserving his first term tax cuts, and
taking a regulation-lite approach to super intelligence. Indeed, without these
critical building blocks, it will be almost impossible to grow our way out of
our many problems. [more...]
Rabbi Schonbuch Brokers Stevens' Switcheroo
Rabbi Daniel
Schonbuch, the
host of the "Rabbi for America" podcast, said he and his family were
proud Democrats, but the party's support for El-Sayed has made him and other
Jews switch their affiliations. Schonbuch also cited the party's treatment of
Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Mich., who has been harshly criticized within her own
political circles for endorsing Rogers. "We are very displeased how the
Democratic Party has been treating Hailey Stevens, a woman who has gone out of
her way, risked her career to fight against anti-Semitism and hatred, but to be
kicked out of the Democratic party," the rabbi said. "This is a
signal to Jews that we're no longer safe in the Democratic part," he
added. Schonbuch met with Haley Stevens' fiancé (who is Jewish) prior to her decision
to endorse Rogers. [more...]
The Media Won't Tell You Felony Violent Crime is Plunging Under
Trump
By John Lott, President of the Crime Prevention Research Center
The reasons behind these record crime reductions aren't difficult to understand.
Most people who follow the news probably missed Monday's
announcement from the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS): Felony violent
crime plunged 25 percent in 2025. Rape fell 13 percent, robbery dropped 27
percent, and aggravated assault declined 31 percent. Property crime fell 19
percent. Except for rape, these represent the largest one-year declines since
the government began collecting these data 53 years ago. That marks a dramatic
reversal from the Biden administration, when felony violent crime soared by a
record 59 percent and property crime rose 8 percent between 2021 and 2024. [more...]
Blaming Tariffs Won't Fix the Cost-of-Living Crisis
By Kenneth Rapoza, Reporter/Columnist for Coalition for a Prosperous America
Since September, there have been at least six
surveys showing a general disagreement with the Trump administration's tariff
policy. The main takeaways are that the public is against the recent, new
tariff impositions on Canada – and that tariffs are contributing to the rising
cost of living. That these new polls are coming out during an election
cycle is no surprise. But regardless of the timing, tariffs and their impacts
on the rising cost of living could use some better explaining. [more...]
Gratitude on Election Day
By Michele Steeb, Homelessness Expert
If you haven't already, please get out and vote today! Vote for
candidates who will uphold life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness - the
enduring values at the heart of our country and its Constitution - for every
American. Your voice matters. Make it count. Thank you to every candidate who
stepped forward to run. Campaigns are absolutely brutal - the scrutiny, the
long days, the constant pressure - and it takes real courage to put yourself
out there for public service. [more...]
The Silver Smash - A Little Too Coincidental to Be a Coincidence
By Kerry Lutz, Founder of the Financial Survival Network, Economist
Gold gets hammered. Silver gets massacred. Bitcoin gets crushed.
Wall Street calls it forced liquidation. But what if the real objective is to
make investors terrified of leaving the financial system? Here we go again. [more...]
The Answer is to Get Down on Our Knees - A Case for Prayer
By James Hirsen, NY Times Bestselling Author, International Business Attorney, News Analyst & Cultural Commentator
America stands at a crossroads. From classrooms to newsrooms,
from civic centers to courtrooms, from town malls to the halls of Hollywood,
institutions, which once encouraged society to hold fast to shared moral
boundaries, now consistently undermine them. Cultural trends are heavily
contributing to the erosion of the family unit, the re-defining of human
nature, and the vilifying of religious convictions. For too long a stretch,
media outlets have been routinely re-branding time-honored Christian teachings
as "bigoted," while turning a blind eye to violence, corruption, and
the breakdown of civic order. [more...]
